‘Drunk' Female Delta Pilot Hauled off Plane at Last Minute
[Daily Beast] An intoxicated feamle Delta pilot was arrested after failing a random breath test as she prepared to take off, according to reports.

The pilot, who is U.S.-based, was taken into custody at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm, Sweden, according to Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet. She was about to fly a transatlantic non-stop flight to New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport.

Local police said she was hauled off the plane and arrested "on suspicion of drunkenness" at around 9.15 a.m. local time Tuesday. The nine-hour flight was due to land in New York at around 1 p.m. Eastern time.

Delta Air Lines claimed in a statement that "this is not a case of intoxication."

"Delta can confirm authorities have released the pilot and we are told this is not a case of intoxication," the airline told the Daily Beast. "We continue to work with authorities to review what occurred."

"Yesterday’s flight from Stockholm to New-York JFK was cancelled and we apologize to customers for that experience. We are taking care of them and getting them to their destinations as soon as possible."

Hollywood heir commits suicide in Los Angeles jail while awaiting triple murder trial
[FOX] Sam Haskell IV, the son of a Hollywood producer, committed suicide while he was in a Los Angeles jail awaiting trial, according to the coroner.

Haskell was accused of killing his wife and in-laws on Nov. 6, 2023, and previously pleaded not guilty. The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner determined that Haskell committed suicide by "incised wounds to bilateral upper extremities."
Both sides of his arms and shoulders. Does that mean he cut his throat?
He was found dead on July 12.

Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman said in an earlier statement that prosecutors were set to reveal new evidence at a preliminary hearing, which included an alleged affair with a 27-year-old woman. According to Hochman, the new evidence also revealed that a bloody knife with all three victims' DNA was found in the possession of Haskell.

Air Force Global Strike Command Halts Use of Sig Sauer M18 Pistol
[Breitbart] A July 21, 2025, memo for Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) makes clear all AFGSC personnel are to pause use of Sig Sauer’s M18 pistol.

The M18 is a Sig Sauer P320 variant.

The memo comes in response to an “incident at F.E. Warren AFB.” Personnel are to be armed with M4 rifles instead of the M18 pistol while the investigation is ongoing.
Rifle instead of handgun? That must have been quite an incident.
Inspections of “all Wing-assigned M18 weapons systems” will occur during the first part of the investigation, and those inspections shall be carried out by “Combat arms inspectors.”

F.E. Warren AFB reported that “an active-duty Airman assigned to the 90th Security Forces Squadron, 90th Missile Wing, died on base while on duty in the early morning [of] July 20, 2025.”

Jason Wright, vice president of marketing at Sig Sauer, issued a statement to Breitbart News regarding the Air Force memo, saying, “Our hearts are with the service members and families impacted by the recent reported event at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base. We have offered assistance to the U.S. Military as they investigate the incident and remain willing to help in furtherance of their ongoing investigation.”

#2  #1 Must have been the pistol, couldn't have been the operator.

Beso,

There have been reports of discharges of the P320/M18, but none of them killed anybody before. So far, the story is that the weapon was safed and holstered when when the kid put it down and and it let go.

I'm not sure why the SIG got selected for the new pistol; the Beretta M1985 was perfectly serviceable and though it had its issues, this wasn't one of them.

A weak magnetic storm occurred on Earth at night
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] On the night of July 23, a weak magnetic storm of level G1 was recorded on Earth. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to scientists, the geomagnetic disturbances observed on Earth are associated with the impact of fast solar wind flows on the planet, which is why the geomagnetic situation began to deteriorate on the evening of July 22.

"Around two o'clock in the morning, the first short magnetic storm occurred, the level of which was G1 - this is the minimum score on the accepted 5-point scale. During the day, repeated events of a similar level are expected with a possible increase to category G2. The probability of stronger storms is less than 1%," the laboratory's Telegram channel says.

The total time during which the Earth's magnetosphere will be thrown out of balance should not exceed two days.

As reported by IA Regnum, since July 11, scientists have observed a rapid increase in the number and area of active centers on the Sun. At the same time, activity on the star was also detected on the opposite side, not visible from Earth.

Earlier, on July 5, the Sun ejected a record-sized prominence - more than 1 million km. Almost a day before that, an object of similar size was observed in the area of the star's south pole.

Japan's Prime Minister to step down

He is expected to formally step down by the end of August — after the conclusion of major trade talks with the United States worth $550 billion.

Three potential successors are being discussed:
🔵 Sanae Takaichi — a hardline conservative pushing for constitutional revision;
🔵 Shinjiro Koizumi — a media-savvy reformist and son of a former prime minister;
🔵 Toshimitsu Motegi — an old-school diplomat and former foreign minister.

Macron sues activist for saying his wife is a man
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife have filed a libel lawsuit against American journalist Candace Owens,
..who is pretty enough to marry well, anyway…
who claimed that Brigitte Macron is a man. This was reported on July 23 by the Financial Times.

The 218-page lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Delaware, accuses Owens of spreading "absurd, defamatory and fictitious statements," most notably the claim that Brigitte Macron was born a man named Jean-Michel Trogneux.

The lawsuit is a rare case of a sitting world leader personally taking legal action against an internet user over published content, the newspaper notes. The Macrons will face significant challenges in court, as US libel laws require public figures to prove “malice,” meaning that the person knew the information was false, the newspaper reports.

The Macrons are ready to personally come to the US for the court hearing. According to them, the activist repeated false information too often in response to each of the requests for a retraction from the French leader and his wife's lawyers.

The lawsuit alleges the couple "suffered significant reputational damage" and spent "large sums of money to correct their public information."

In a court statement, Macron described the story of how he met Brigitte, denying Owens’s accusations of “child molestation” against the future president’s wife. According to him, they met when he was 15 years old, and Brigitte, his schoolteacher, was 39 at the time, married and raising three daughters. They became close over a school play, but Macron emphasized that their relationship “remained within the law.” After learning of his attraction to the teacher, Macron’s parents transferred him to another school, but he told her that he would “marry her no matter what.”

Earlier, Regnum reported that the Paris Court of Appeal acquitted journalist Natacha Rey, who had previously been convicted under the article "Slander" for stating that Macron's wife Brigitte was actually a man. Also acquitted was Amandine Roy (real name Delphine Jegusse ), on whose YouTube channel Rey performed.

In an interview with Regnum News Agency, Natasha Rey admitted that she provided the court with a lot of evidence and arguments from her investigation. The court ruled that all of them were admissible, and most of Rey's statements did not defame the first lady of France.

US President Donald Trump asked Owens not to continue investigating Brigitte Macron's past. Owens insisted that Brigitte Macron had indeed visited a doctor to undergo a sex change. Then Trump offered her a deal: to stop the investigation in exchange for an interview with him.

Two Tier Keir Germany: Comedian 'El Hotzo' Acquitted Over Trump Posts
[DW] Sebastian Hotz was on trial for posting online remarks that prosecutors said condoned an assassination attempt on the now US leader. Now, a court has cleared him of all charges, recognizing his statements as satire.

A court in Berlin on Wednesday acquitted comedian Sebastian Hotz, 29, of charges that he had condoned a criminal offense with online posts after last year's assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

Shortly after the attempted assassination, Hotz, known widely by his stage name "El Hotzo," had asked in a post on X, formerly Twitter, what Trump and "the last bus" had in common, giving the answer that both had "unfortunately been missed."

He also later wrote that he found it "absolutely fantastic when fascists die."

CLEAR SATIRE, SAYS JUDGE
The posts were clearly recognizable as satire, Judge Andrea Wilms said as she handed down her verdict, adding that she could not discern any intention to disturb public order.

While describing the posts as being in bad taste, she said she did not believe that anyone would feel incited to commit a crime after reading such obviously satirical statements.

The fact that Hotz's posts had triggered heated debates did not mean they were of a legally punishable nature, Wilms said.

Rather, in a liberal democracy it was desirable "for people to be able to argue about good and bad opinions," she added.

PROSECUTORS ALLEGE HATE CRIME
State prosecutor Marc-Alexander Liebig had argued that Hotz's statements could be classified as "hate crimes" and were such as to disrupt public order.

He said they had been made at a time when politicians, election officials and volunteers were increasingly the objects of physical attacks.

Liebig said even satirists were not above the law and that it was not obvious that Hotz's statements had been made with satirical intent.

"In Germany, you can think anything and say a lot, but you are not allowed to say anything," he said.

He had called for Hotz to be fined €6,000 ($7,038).

Ahead of the trial, the journalists' association DJV had called on Tuesday for legal action against Hotz to be stopped, saying it was "completely excessive" that the satirist was coming before a court and facing a possible jail sentence..

Trump Admin Slashes 25% Of IRS Workforce In Sharp Reversal Of Biden-Era Expansion
Did they return their AR's and body armor?
[ZeroHedge] In one of the most sweeping overhauls of the federal bureaucracy in recent memory, the Internal Revenue Service is undergoing a dramatic contraction under the Trump administration, which has cut nearly 26,000 positions - approximately 25% of its workforce - through buyouts, retirements, and firings.

The move aims to undo the Biden-era expansion of the tax agency, which had grown to 103,000 employees following the 2022 passage of a major budget and climate law that poured tens of billions of dollars into IRS operations. As of May, staffing is expected to drop to 77,000 once all separations are finalized, according to data from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).

“These separations will have nationwide implications,” the inspector general warned in a report detailing the reductions, the Washington Times reports.

The staffing cuts have reached deep into the agency’s core functions. The agency has shed 27 percent of its tax examiners and 26 percent of its revenue agents. Its information technology division is down 23 percent, and the management and analysis unit has lost 28 percent of its staff.

Much of the attrition has come through voluntary programs. More than 4,600 employees accepted buyouts offered in January, and 17,000 opted for early retirement. Additional losses came through smaller separation programs and 300 official layoffs. The IRS also attempted to terminate over 7,300 probationary employees earlier this year, though legal challenges resulted in some being rehired or offered buyouts instead.

In-N-Out heiress Lynsi Snyder defends decision to move family out of California amid expansion: ‘It's tough here'
[NYPost] Billionaire In-N-Out Burger heiress Lynsi Snyder fired back at critics who called for a boycott of the popular fast-food joint after she revealed she was moving her family from California to Tennessee.

"Where I raise my family has nothing to do with my love and appreciation for our customers in California," Snyder said on Instagram Monday.

Snyder doubled down on her decision to move out of the Golden State, shut down an office in Irvine, Calif., and open a new 100,000-square-foot office building in Franklin, Tenn., just south of Nashville.

"This is part of a healthy plan for our growth and also, you know, there’s so many opportunities for people to own homes in Tennessee and even some of the surrounding states that we could possibly end up in," Snyder said.

"It’s tough here in California and this doesn’t have to do with my love or loyalty to the state and our customers. But I love our associates and I would love to offer them this.... the dream of a family and a home is more feasible for them there."

Snyder insisted, "We never forget our roots," and reminded betrayed burger lovers that In-N-Out’s corporate headquarters will still be based in California.

"We’re not moving In-N-Out Burger’s corporate headquarters," Snyder added. "In addition to our Baldwin Park office, we’re expanding with an Eastern Territory office in Tennessee to support our growth."

Snyder, who has served as the company’s president since 2010, sparked online backlash when she admitted that raising a family and "doing business" wasn’t "easy" in California.

She discussed "so many pressures and hoops" the company had to "jump through," including crime and previous coronavirus restrictions — while she expressed excitement about moving to Tennessee, which has no state income tax and affordable housing.

"It will be wonderful having an office out there, growing out there and being able to have the family and other people’s families out there," the married mother of four told Allie Beth Stuckey’s "Relatable" podcast on July 19.

Some customers accused Snyder of turning her back on the state that built In-N-Out Burger, which was founded by Snyder’s grandparents Harry and Esther Snyder in 1948.

"Time to boycott in n out," a social media user wrote on X.

"This sounds so ridiculous and tone deaf," another X user commented. "The California economy helped her family become what it is."

Others sided with Snyder and embraced In-N-Out’s expansion.

"I don’t blame her. California is not business-friendly at all," another person wrote.

In-N-Out Burger locations are set to open in Tennessee by 2026. She’s rejected invitations to open In-N-Out locations in Florida and in various states on the East Coast.

"I’m very proud of where In-N-Out started," Snyder said. "Anyone who knows me knows how often I talk about our beginnings and how our Customers here in California helped bring us to where we are today. We’ve been expanding into new states since 1992, and we’ve stayed consistent with our standards for growth. Opening an office far from our roots is something new and exciting. It brings incredible opportunities for the people we love and the Customers we serve."

Sens. John Fetterman, D-Pa., and Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., introduced bill to require in-person businesses to accept cash payments from customers.
[FoxNBusinessNews] Sens. John Fetterman, D-Pa., and Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., have introduced a bill that would generally require those conducting in-person business to accept cash as payment from customers.

"Any person engaged in the business of selling or offering goods or services at retail to the public who accepts in-person payments at a physical location … shall accept cash as a form of payment for sales made at such physical location in amounts up to and including $500 per transaction," the measure stipulates, in part.

The proposal provides an exception if there is "a device that converts cash into prepaid cards" without any fee.

It also allows exceptions if a person cannot accept cash payment due to "a sale system failure" or because they temporarily do not have enough cash available to provide change.

"It’s simple: if you’re open for business in America, you should take U.S. dollars," Fetterman said, according to press releases. "I’m proud to introduce the bipartisan Payment Choice Act with Senator Cramer because every American should be able to use paper currency if they choose. We have millions of people in this country who don’t have access to bank accounts, and they must be able to go shopping with their hard-earned dollars."

Businesses would not be required to accept large bill denominations.

The proposal declares that "for the 5-year period beginning on the date of enactment of this section, this section shall not require a person to accept cash payments in $50 bills or any larger bill."

"The Secretary shall issue a rule on the date that is 5 years after the date of the enactment of this section with respect to any bill denominations a person is not required to accept," the text of the measure reads. "When issuing a rule under subparagraph (A), the Secretary shall require persons to accept $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills."

#3  Germans have already figured it out and are returning to cash. Blackouts, brownouts, and natural disasters (not to exclude drunks taking out powerlines) kill any means of transactions. Those transformers you see on poles are not stocked very deep and a good size disaster will spell weeks of no electricity. Best to have a couple hundred in small bills tucked away in the house in case of emergencies. Merchants can enlist old people who can actually do math to transcribe transactions.

An observation that I noticed is that some of the younger gens simply cannot count cash. They are horrible at it. It looks so challenging for half of them I want to count it myself.

ATC extends remand of tribal chief in Balochistan's ''honour killing'' case
[GEO.TV] An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Quetta on Wednesday extended the physical remand of tribal leader Sardar Sherbaz for 10 more days in connection with the killing of a couple who were rubbed out ahead of Eid ul Adha for so-called honour.

The woman, identified by police as Bano Bibi and the man, Ehsan Ullah, were both rubbed out on the orders of a local tribal jirga for honour in Dagari, situated on the outskirts of the bustling provincial capital.

The incident gained attention after a video circulating on social media last week sparked outrage in Pakistain after it showed a couple being rubbed out in Dagari.

Sherbaz was produced before the court today following the completion of his two-day remand.

During the hearing, police sought more time for further interrogation, which the court approved and handed him over to the Serious Crimes Investigation Wing (SCIW).

According to post-mortem examinations, the woman was shot seven times and the man nine times. The autopsies were carried out at the Dagari coal mine graveyard.

A case was also registered against suspects on the state's complaint at Quetta's Hanna-Urak Police Station.

According to the FIR, the case was registered under Sections 302 (murder), 149 (unlawful assembly), 148 (rioting while armed with a deadly weapon), 147 (rioting) of the Pakistain Penal Code and the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.

Addressing the presser two days ago, Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti confirmed that 11 suspects had been arrested in the case so far, with more raids underway to apprehend others.

He had said that none of the accused would be spared, adding that the man and woman were not married to each other and each had five to six children.

Bugti had assured that the state stands with the victims and efforts will be made to ensure punishments through the due legal process.

''We took action even before the video went viral,'' he had said, adding that the DSP concerned had already been suspended.

A day ago, the Balochistan Assembly unanimously passed a joint resolution condemning the murder of a man and a woman in the Digari area near Quetta, reportedly carried out in the name of ''honour.''

The resolution was presented by Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola on behalf of the members of the Women Parliamentary Caucus, including provincial ministers and assembly members Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Shahnaz Umrani, Shahida Rauf, Farah Azeem Shah, Salma Bibi, Umm-e-Kulsoom, and Safia Bibi, The News reported.

The resolution denounced the tragic incident, describing it as a horrifying example of the continued misuse of the concept of ''honour'' to justify the killing of innocent individuals — particularly women. ''Such acts are not only condemnable and shameful but also an assault on the peace and stability of society as a whole,'' the resolution stated.

Remember Obama, Biden and the Democrats Open Borders.

It brought in a lot of this mentality to various US Metro's. We are now seeing this here, in the ethnic communities they establish within these metro's using their own laws and customs.

The U.S. Army hit an at-sea target with a Standard Missile 6 fired from its Typhon missile system as part of the Talisman Sabre 2025 exercise in Australia.
[USNInews] The live-fire test is the first time the Army has tested the containerized missile launcher derived from the Navy MK 41 launchers used on warships outside the U.S.

The Typhon, also known as the Mid-Range Capability (MRC), was operated by the Hawaii-based 3rd Multi-Domain Task Force (MDTF) in the Northern Territory of Australia, according to U.S. Army Pacific command.

“The deployment of the MRC and successful execution of an SM-6 live fire against a maritime target is another significant step forward in our ability to deploy, integrate and command and control advanced land-based maritime strike capabilities,” said Col. Wade Germann, commander of the 3rd MDTF.
