Ambrey says concrete docks at Yemen’s Hodeida port sustain damage after Israeli strikes
[IsraelTimes] British security firm Ambrey says it has observed imagery that confirms damage to the concrete docks at Yemen’s Houthi-held Hodeida port following Israeli strikes.

Additionally, two Barbados-flagged bulk carriers likely suffered blast damage as a result of the attacks, Ambrey says in an advisory note, adding that no injuries among the crews have been reported.

Israel struck Houthi targets at three Yemeni ports and a power plant, the military said early on Monday, in its first strikes on Yemen in nearly a month.

#1  Migrant crackdown? No, Poland just doesn't want to take back migrants who illegally "transited" through Poland to Germany. This will just hurt the legit border transit (Germans and Poles).

No migrant wants to go (back) to Poland. Poland just want Germany to lift border contrils, so that they can get rid opf all unwanted migrants.

No alligators in Polish forests. Maybe bears could help out.

France on Edge: Macron Demands "Concrete Solutions" on Islamist Threat
[JFEED] French President Emmanuel Macron convened a high-level emergency security meeting at the Elysee Palace on Monday to address what he called the ''strategic threat'' of Muslim Brotherhood infiltration into vulnerable neighborhoods across the country.

This marks the second such meeting in recent months, following a similar session in May which, according to Macron, failed to produce meaningful action. Frustrated by the lack of progress, the president demanded that his ministers now present ''concrete proposals'' to curb the spread of Islamist ideology, particularly in impoverished suburbs.

The meeting was initiated by Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau and attended by top officials including the education and sports ministers. According to government sources, Macron was angered by leaks to the press regarding the classified security report that triggered the meeting. The report detailed what officials are calling a ''quiet ideological takeover'' in certain urban zones, warning that these trends pose a direct risk to the unity of the French Republic.

While Macron stressed that not all Muslims in France should be lumped together, he underlined the need to take ideological subversion seriously. ''There's a difference between legitimate criticism and deliberate blindness,'' he said, cautioning against both panic and complacency.

The political reactions have been deeply divided. Left-wing parties accused Macron of stigmatizing entire communities, warning that his rhetoric could inflame tensions. Meanwhile, the far-right National Rally (RN) party led by Marine Le Pen blasted the government for being too soft, calling for sweeping action, including banning certain Islamic organizations, cutting public funding to religious NGOs, and revoking legal recognition from groups with suspected extremist ties.

Within Macron's inner circle, discussions are underway about forming a dedicated intelligence unit focused exclusively on Islamist activity and possibly establishing a special legal body empowered to take administrative action against radical groups—bypassing slow criminal proceedings.

Reports indicate Macron aims to unveil a clear and assertive policy before the French Parliament reconvenes for its winter session. A formal ban on the Muslim Brotherhood is reportedly under consideration, mirroring similar moves already enacted in Jordan and other countries.

As France grapples with rising extremism, demographic shifts, and growing political polarization, the battle over what defines ''republican values'' may soon become one of the most defining debates of Macron's presidency.

#7  Concrete Solutions

Cement shoes, concrete shoes, or Chicago overcoat is a method of murder or body disposal, usually associated with criminals such as the Mafia or gangs. It involves weighing down the victim, who may be dead or alive, with concrete and throwing them into water in the hope the body will never be found.

Democrats call for violence to counter Trump agenda and tell lawmakers to prepare to 'get shot'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Democratic voters are asking their representatives to exhibit more violence while resisting Donald Trump's agenda - with some even suggesting lawmakers prepare to 'get shot.'

The party - reeling in the wake of Trump's November victory - heads toward the 2026 midterms with polls showing their own voters are unhappy with their performance.

Now, liberal politicians fear Trump haters are urging them to bend the law and even resort to violence in a desperate attempt to resist the president.

'Our own base is telling us that what we're doing is not good enough...there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public,' an anonymous Democrat lawmaker admitted.

The voters' solutions: follow Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver, who both put themselves in legal trouble to visit an ICE detention facility.

However, another anonymous liberal told Axios that even that wouldn't be enough, with one saying 'civility isn't working' and to man up for 'violence.'

'Some of them have suggested...what we really need to do is be willing to get shot.'

'The expectations aren't just unreal. They're dangerous,' said one more.

While House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is being savaged for poorly photoshopped promo pictures and even posting holding a baseball bat, some Dems worry there's nothing they can do to satiate their base, which they say is 'white, well-educated and live in upscale' neighborhoods.

'We've got people who are desperately wanting us to do something...no matter what we say, they want [more],' said Illinois Congressman Brad Schneider, who says he's desperately tried to beat back voters who want yet another impeachment of Trump.

One thing they hear consistently is that they want the Democrats to get down and dirty and try to beat what they see as Republicans' own game.

'This idea that we're going to save every norm and that we're not going to play [Republicans'] game...I don't think that's resonating with voters anymore,' another anonymous Congressmember said.

Another added that when voters 'who are angry don't accept that. They're angry beyond things,' with yet another comparing how they feel to 'the Roman Coliseum.'

Ro Khanna, a California Congressman who ranks as one of their more outspoken progressives, went against the grain, preaching the need for pragmatism.

'The most effective pushback to Trump's unconstitutional actions is to model a reverence for the Constitution and the rule of law,' he said.

The Democrats believe that their voters' attitude will keep Donald Trump in power.

Khanna added: 'Not only would that be a gift to Donald Trump, not only would it make the job of Republicans in Congress easier if we were all mired in legal troubles...[we are] a group that is disproportionately people of color, women, LGBTQ people — people who do not fare very well in prison.'

Just months ago, approval of the Democratic Party hit a brutal record low as Democrats are split over how to take on President Donald Trump in the first few months of his second term, new polling finds.

Among Americans overall, the Democratic Party's favorability rating stands at just 29 percent, CNN found.

It's the lowest favorability the party has seen since CNN first started conducting its polling back in 1992.

It's also a 20 point drop in approval since Trump left office more than four years ago at which time approval of the Democratic party was 49 percent.

It's also a ten point drop from just before the November election.

At the same time, a new NBC News poll released Sunday similarly found only 27 percent of voters had a positive view of the Democratic Party. That was the lowest positive rating in NBC News polling history dating back to 1990.

The CNN polling released in March was conducted just days before ten Senate Democrats joined with their Republican colleagues in a vote to advance a stopgap spending bill to avoid a government shutdown in a move that has deeply divided the party even further.

Some Democrats are now calling for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to step down as a Democratic Party leader while others have said he should be challenged when he's next up for reelection in 2028.

The record low approval of the Democratic Party has been driven by increased dissatisfaction from within, the CNN polling found.

Just 63 percent of Democrats or Democratic-leaning Independents had a favorable view of their own party, a drop from the 72 who had a favorable view of their party in January and 81 percent when President Biden took office.

Democrats are also torn over the direction of their party should take, the polling found.

Among Democratic-aligned adults, 52 percent said that the party leadership is taking the party in the wrong direction while 48 percent said they are taking the party in the right direction.

At the same time, a growing number of Democrats want the party leadership to do more to stop the Republican agenda as Trump barrels through the first two months of his second term.

The polling found 57 percent believe the party should do more to stop the GOP agenda while just 42 percent believe party leadership should work with Republicans.

CNN noted that is a dramatic shift from Democrats' views nearly eight years ago. A September 2017 poll from Trump's first term found 74 percent of Democrats believed their party should try to work with Republicans.

By The Numbers: Even CNN’s Expert Pollster Shocked By How Anti-Israel Dems Have Become
[DailyWire] "Oh my God! That is a change in the margin of 56 points over the course of just eight years."

Even CNN’s chief data analyst was shocked when he looked at polls showing the dramatic shift in support — or lack thereof — for Israel, particularly among younger Democrats, in less than a decade.

Harry Enten went over the numbers with CNN anchor Kate Bolduan on Wednesday morning, and he showed just how much the Democratic Party had changed with regard to support for Israel — and while he noted that the wildest swing was among Democrats under the age of 50, even those over 50 had made a sizable shift away from supporting the Jewish state.

How the Democrats Became the Party of Racists, Bigots, and Antisemites
[PJMedia] Today, the face of American antisemitism isn’t a cross-eyed Southerner with an unbranched family tree and chewing-tobacco stains on his David Allan Coe t-shirt. Nor does it include white hoods, blazing crucifixes, or the letter “K” in triplicate. (Sure, those guys still suck, but so did the Cossacks, and we don’t use them as the go-to cliché for Jew-hatred anymore. Get with the times, man.)

The pro-Palestinian protesters are the faces of today's antisemitism.

And they’re not welcome in the Republican Party. They’ve been spurned, exiled, and excommunicated since the 1960s, even when doing so carried political risk.

So the Democratic Party welcomed ‘em with open arms.

Joe Biden will likely go down in history as the last Democratic president who’s (marginally) more pro-Israel than pro-Palestinian. After all, this is what their base is demanding:

Younger Americans are more likely to sympathize with the Palestinian people than the Israeli people. A third of adults under 30 say their sympathies lie either entirely or mostly with the Palestinian people, while 14% say their sympathies lie entirely or mostly with the Israeli people. The rest say their sympathies lie equally with both, with neither or that they are not sure.

Older Americans, by comparison, are more likely to sympathize with Israelis than Palestinians. For example, among people ages 65 and older, 47% say their sympathies lie entirely or mostly with the Israeli people, while far fewer (9%) sympathize entirely or mostly with the Palestinians.

Among those under 30, however, there are wide partisan differences in views on this question and others. Republicans and Republican-leaning independents under 30 sympathize more with the Israelis than the Palestinians (28% vs. 12%). Democrats and Democratic leaners sympathize far more with the Palestinians than the Israelis (47% vs. 7%).

Older Americans side with Israel 47% to 9%, and younger Democrats side with the Palestinians 47% to 7%. The numbers are eerily symmetric, but in completely opposite directions.

Today, the “stock character” of an antisemitic, Jew-hating bigot is a liberal protester who cosplays with a keffiyeh. They’re usually young — often college-aged — and they’ve “studied” all the nuances of Middle East history through a rapid succession of TikTok videos. They’re smug and self-assured, entitled and aggressive.

And they DO NOT vote Republican!

Instead, they’re either voting for the Democratic candidate… or they don’t believe in democracy and just want to smash [expletive] up.

To them, Israel is an abomination — a vile, disgusting nation that doesn’t deserve to exist. They see it as a colonial, racist creation that has unfairly subjugated the proud, noble, peace-loving natives to the yoke of segregation.

If Israel were a Muslim nation, there’d be zero protests in American streets. Nobody cares when the conflict is between two Muslim nations; everyone rolls their eyes and shrugs their shoulders.

Furthermore, if Israel were a Chinese vassal, nobody would care either. (Plus, I’ll betcha that TikTok’s algorithm would be a helluva lot different.) You don’t see too many young people marching on behalf of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, do you? And when was the last time someone other than Richard Gere gave a crap about Tibet?

The Democratic Party, in its madcap zeal to oppose all things Trumpian, has raced to the side of Hamas. Because of their dogged determination to view everything through the prism of racism — i.e., the 1619 Project — they’ve transformed their party into the vehicle of choice for crackpot racial theories, antisemitism, and historic grievances.

Walmart, Amazon Truck Depots Display Multilingual Signs, Raising Alarms Over Migrant Drivers With No English
A interesting mix of languages in the photos at the link.
[ZeroHedge] In the shadow of record profits and centi-billion dollar valuations, the American trucker is being pushed further to the sidelines - not by automation or fuel prices, but by corporate betrayal.

Walmart and Amazon — icons of "American" capitalism — are now placing signs at their distribution centers in foreign languages to accommodate an influx of non-domiciled, non-citizen truck drivers. Don't be fooled… this isn't about inclusion, it's about replacing those more expensive American truck drivers.

Truck driving, once a blue-collar backbone of American prosperity, is being hollowed out in favor of cheap, foreign labor. Mega-corporations and their subcontractors are exploiting loopholes to flood the industry with drivers on work visas or temporary permits, often lacking any form of training to U.S. safety standards or language requirements. Safety and sovereignty are both being sacrificed at the altar of higher earnings per share.

Donald Trump's Executive Order demanding English Language Proficiency (ELP) enforcement for commercial drivers wasn't just common sense — it was a line in the sand. You drive on American highways? You speak the language. Period.

Likewise, Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, sounded the alarm on the abuse of non-domiciled CDLs — licenses issued by states to foreign nationals who may never permanently reside in the U.S. These are not minor regulatory gaps. They're open floodgates, and big retail is swimming through them with glee… they even have the signs to prove it!

This is more than a labor dispute. It's a cultural and economic affront to every American trucker who played by the rules, paid their dues, and built this country mile by mile… "Covid's heroes" they once claimed… mega-corporation's collateral damage just a few short years later.

The real "supply chain crisis" isn't the worry of shelves running empty… it is what power that big retail will continue to build if they continue their pillage of American Truck drivers and companies while handing our national security interests/domestic supply chain to non-citizens.

ZEROHEDGE TAKE:
Under federal law, non-domiciled CDL (Commercial Driver's License) holders are required to understand and communicate in English. Yet, as the signage at Walmart distribution hubs and other major trucking depots reveals, instructions are now posted in foreign languages — a quiet admission that many of these unvetted migrant drivers don't speak English.

This is a growing public safety threat. Tens of thousands of non-domiciled drivers, some with questionable training and zero English proficiency, are now behind the wheel of 80,000-pound steel missiles barreling down U.S. highways.

TSA quietly scraps [shoe] security check that every passenger dreads
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The Transportation Security Administration has finally scrapped one of its most unpopular policies.

After more than two decades of forcing travelers to remove their shoes in airport security lines, the shoe removal requirement was suddenly pulled effective immediately on Monday.

According to an internal memo, the policy shift appears to be tied to recent improvements in screening technology and an updated assessment of current security threats.

Travelers enrolled in TSA PreCheck have long enjoyed the privilege of keeping their shoes on but now that same courtesy is being extended to the general public.

To bypass the shoe rule, passengers must hold a federally approved REAL ID or passport to board a domestic flight, with a standard driver's license no longer cutting it.

Travelers requiring special security procedures may still be asked to remove their footwear under the new requirements.

The original rule was introduced in the wake of the 2001 incident involving Richard Reid, infamously known as the 'Shoe Bomber,' who attempted to detonate explosives hidden in his sneakers during a transatlantic flight.

Since then, passengers have been required to walk through security checkpoints barefoot or in socks unless they were PreCheck members, under 12, or over 75 years old.

Less, we forget, to avoid the stinky feet of others in growing long TSA check-in lines.

December 22, 2001, Richard Reid, also known as the shoe bomber, boarded American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami with shoes packed with plastic explosives in the hollowed-out bottoms. He unsuccessfully tried to detonate the bomb, and passengers and crew quickly subdued him.

NOTE:
He only tried to use about 10 ounces (283 grams) of Plastic Explosives.

More than enough to make a big hole or take control cable/wired running under the floor.

If he had done this in the Bathroom instead of the passenger cabin area, he might have succeeded.

Israel’s endgame now Hamas-free Gaza, may have to take control for a while; convinced Trump serious about encouraging Gazans emigration

Official says endgame in Gaza is ‘no more Hamas,’ Israel may have to take control for a while

[IsraelTimes]Israel’s endgame is in Gaza is “there is no more Hamas,” says a senior Israeli official in Washington.

“Hamas taken apart. It has put down its weapons. It’s people have given up. The leaders have been exiled. Another force has taken over the territory and prevents the use of weapons,” the official says.

“There has to be a system there that manages life,” the official continues.

“Maybe for a certain amount of time, it is us,” says the official. “I’m not sure that if we’re not there for a certain stage, that we’ll be able to pass it on to someone else.”

Israel convinced Trump serious about encouraging voluntary migration from Gaza

[IsraelTimes] Israel is convinced US President Donald Trump is serious about encouraging Gazans to emigrate voluntarily, a senior Israeli official says.

“After tonight, I am [convinced],” says the official.

“The plan is alive, What is needed is operational coordination, not only the aims, but how we achieve it. And that is what we discussed. The desire is there.”

Group of Europe-based imams visits Israel, bearing ‘message of peace’
[IsraelTimes] Delegation meets President Herzog; will spend a week touring the country, and meeting military, political and religious authorities, victims of October 7

When Imam Youssef Masbeh introduced himself to President Isaac Herzog on Monday, he could not help but start singing a special chant in Arabic, offering a reinterpretation of the Israeli national anthem, Hatikvah.

Masbeh, who has served as a religious leader in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Norway for 20 years, was part of a delegation of about a dozen imams and Moslem community leaders who were visiting Israel from several European countries, including La Belle France, the United Kingdom, and Italia.

Masbeh also encouraged his colleagues and all those present to join him in singing and dancing, celebrating the moment of togetherness.

"We are all children of Abraham, and I believe the historic progress in our region is a progress of dialogue between Moslems and Jews, and Jews and Moslems," Herzog said. "What you’re doing on this visit, and in your courageous work, reflects the silent majority in the Middle East and around the world who yearn for this kind of shared life."

The delegation was organized by ELNET, an NGO that promotes ties between Europa

The trip will also include a visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, meetings with Sephardic Chief Rabbi David Yosef and with IDF Arabic Spokesperson Col. Avichay Adraee, and visits with family members of former Bedouin hostages in Gazoo

Formerly dictatorial and steeped in Olde Tyme Religion, deferring to Salafist holy men on all issues, it has now done a 180 and is making a serious effort to modernize, so as not to be left in the sand by its Gulf Arab neighbors. The holy men have been shoved to the background and the nation is now still dictatorial but somewhat rational. That doesn't make them trustworthy, but it's a start...
, and that we will continue moving forward."

Almost all of the religious leaders were visiting the Jewish state for the first time. For many, being in Jerusalem was especially meaningful.

"I already did my pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, and I was waiting to come to Jerusalem," Ali El Aarja told The Times of Israel.

Based in Turin, Italia, El Aarja serves as the president of the newly established Italian Islamic Confederation (CIIN) and is one of the several members of the delegation originally from Morocco.

On the eve of the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, Morocco was home to some 270,000 Jews, most of whom emigrated to Israel or La Belle France in the following two decades.

Though only a few thousand Jews remain in the country, over the past 20 years, the authorities have demonstrated growing attention and sensitivity toward its Jewish community.

In 2020, Morocco joined the Abraham Accords, fully normalizing its ties with Israel.

"Morocco is a country open to all religions: Moslems, Christians, and Jews live together, and we hope we can set an example for the world," El Aarja said.

"We are here to send a message of peace," he added. "For our Paleostinian brothers and for our Jewish brothers, we do not want war, we hope we can go back to dialogue."

An ELNET spokesperson told The Times of Israel that participants were selected for the trip in close collaboration with Imam Hassen Chalghoumi, chairman of the Conference of Imams of La Belle France. A Tunisia-born interfaith activist, Chalghoumi has been known to many as "the peace imam" and a steadfast supporter of Israel.

"My message to you is one of deep affection — for you and for your remarkable people," Chalghoumi said, addressing Herzog. "It is a message of brotherhood and solidarity and a heartfelt prayer that the hostages will return home in peace, and that the pain and suffering of innocent civilians in Gaza will come to an end."

The imam stressed that the regional conflict sparked by the Hamas
..one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,...
atrocities on October 7, 2023, "is not merely a conflict between Israel and Hamas, nor between Israel and Hezbollah—the so-called ’Party of Satan’."

"It is a confrontation between two fundamentally different worlds," Chalghoumi said. "You represent the world of brotherhood, of humanity, of compassion. You stand for the values of democracy and liberty."

According to another member of the delegation, Noor Dahri, founder and executive director of the UK-based organization Islamic Theology of Counter Terrorism, Moslem communities in the Western world often struggle to understand the difference between Islam as a religion and Islamism.

"Extremists are more powerful in Western countries than in the Middle East or in Pakistain because, in the Middle East and Pakistain, there are two types of people — Moslems and Islamists — and Moslems know when an organization is an Islamist organization and they either join it or distance themselves from it," Dahri told The Times of Israel.

"In the West, everything is mixed and people do not know how to make the distinction," he said. "For decades, the majority of mosques have been run by Islamist charity organizations, so they managed to establish deep roots in the Moslem communities, and it’s difficult to root out Islamism from Western-world Islam."

For this reason, Dhari said that bringing imams to visit Israel is a very important initiative.

"Since October 7, even those Moslems who were previously supportive of Israel and Israelis either turned their backs or kept silent in fear of their life," he said. "Now, this delegation of imams and religious scholars from different Moslem backgrounds has come to Israel to send one message across the Moslem world — that the Jewish nation is not the enemy of Moslems, that the State of Israel is not against Islam, and we Moslems should not have any enmity toward the Jewish people because they are our cousins, and they are fighting against Islamism."

I asked why all the efforts to defang it have only succeeded temporally and locally.

He said basically, "they didn't do it right; I'm doing it right"

'Round Two': Netanyahu came to the US to drag Trump into a new war
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Leonid Tsukanov

[REGNUM] On the morning of July 7, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington on a working visit. His agenda includes a meeting with President Donald Trump, as well as high-ranking officials and congressmen.

This is the Israeli Prime Minister's second trip to the United States since the Republicans won the election. However, unlike the previous summit, Netanyahu is bringing with him far fewer "trump cards" and far more problems that will have to be solved, including with the participation of the United States.

TO SUM UP
The main purpose of the trip is to discuss the situation around Iran.

Netanyahu makes no secret of his intention to press Trump for “greater decisiveness” in responding to a hypothetical nuclear threat from Tehran.

Moreover, according to Tel Aviv, Iran’s nuclear project has not suffered “irreparable damage,” and the country will be able to restore its previous rate of uranium enrichment within six months at the most.

Of course, Netanyahu sees himself as the winner in this conflict, since he fulfilled the main promises made to the electorate and “dealt a crushing blow” to a strategic enemy.

At the same time, the Israelis were unable to achieve all of their goals, underestimating the opponent's mobilization capabilities. This means that sooner or later the time for a "second round" will come.

Tel Aviv expects Trump to agree with its concerns and give the green light to new preemptive operations against Tehran and its key allies in the region.

Particularly against Yemen's Houthis, who remain the only Iranian proxy forces still systematically harassing the territory of the Jewish state.

The Israeli General Staff had previously announced a series of large-scale air strikes on targets in Yemen, dubbed "Black Flag." However, the aircraft quickly returned to their permanent bases, deciding to limit themselves to "warning shots" until Netanyahu's trip was over.

INTERNAL DISCORD
Meanwhile, the situation inside Israel is heating up.

Distracted by the external contour and the conflict with Iran, Netanyahu's cabinet stopped monitoring the domestic political situation for some time. Apparently, counting on a spiritual and patriotic upsurge after a quick victory over Tehran.

However, the situation turned out to be the opposite - the “small victorious” war dragged on for almost two weeks, and at some point Israel even had to defend itself more actively than its opponents.

It is not surprising that as soon as the guns fell silent, the public immediately began to look for an answer to the question: who is to blame?

Although there is discord and a despondent mood in the camp of Netanyahu's opponents, provoked by the conflict between the "heavyweights" of the opposition camp - former Defense Minister Benny Gantz and former Chief of the General Staff Gadi Eisenkot - and they cannot bring any consolidated accusations against the Prime Minister, the ruling coalition has once again found itself on the verge of collapse. This time - due to the fault of yesterday's allies.

In particular, the ultra-Orthodox wing of the Israeli government recently threatened to paralyze the work of the Knesset. This will happen if Netanyahu does not block the final adoption of a law related to the conscription of young Haredi believers, which was also developed and lobbied by representatives of his party.

At one point, passions reached such a level that Netanyahu even had to reschedule his flight to Washington until late in the evening in order to hold a series of briefings and meetings with the Orthodox.

He tried to persuade them not to destroy the legitimacy of the ruling cabinet and give legislators time to "finish off" the controversial bill. For a while, he managed to calm the conservative public, but the issue itself is still on the agenda.

IMAGE LOSSES
The Qatargate corruption scandal, which Israeli society had managed to forget, is also flaring up with renewed vigor. And Netanyahu himself reminded us of it.

The day before flying to Washington, he fired his press secretary, Omer Dostri, who until recently was part of the prime minister’s inner circle and was even considered one of his “confidants.”

As the office notes, the reason for the breakup is the “image losses” that Netanyahu allegedly suffered due to Dostri’s careless statements.

In particular, at the initial stages of “Qatargate,” he misled the investigation several times, as a result of which law enforcement officers became convinced that the prime minister was also involved in corrupt deals.

Netanyahu had to prove the opposite for almost six months, each time balancing on the brink of resignation.

By shifting the focus of negativity to Dostri, Netanyahu was able to distance himself from the scandal with Qatari agents of influence, which threatened him with reputational costs and even the loss of his prime ministerial seat.

Now, even if new high-ranking figures appear in the case, the prime minister will be treated as a witness at worst, and as a victim at best.

PALESTINIAN "EXCHANGE"
At the upcoming talks in Washington, the conversation will certainly turn to the situation in the Gaza Strip and the negotiations, which have once again reached a dead end.

The Israeli establishment is not too happy with Hamas's new counter-proposals, which came after Tel Aviv and Washington announced an imminent deal for a 60-day ceasefire in the enclave.

And while Trump continues to boast about the imminent conclusion of a new “comprehensive agreement,” which will include, among other things, the “expulsion” of Hamas leaders from the enclave, the viability of such statements, given the realities on the ground, is doubted in both Israel and Palestine.

Against this backdrop, attempts are being made to destabilize the situation in the West Bank, within the borders of internationally recognized Palestine.

In particular, the Israeli side supports separatist sentiments in the city of Hebron, where a group of high-ranking sheikhs is trying to achieve the transformation of the city into a “microstate” with subsequent normalization of relations with Israel.

Tel Aviv is still cautious and does not support the rebel sheikhs too much, although it works with them through an intermediary, Israeli Economy Minister Nir Barkat. However, Israel may well move to more decisive action, especially if the deal with Hamas fails again.

In this case, the creation of a “buffer emirate” will become one of the ways to further divide Palestine, and at the same time create an obstacle between the Palestinian territories on the West Bank and the rest of Israel.

And a little later, the Israelis may also conduct a “political exchange” with the Palestinian Authority, gaining control over Gaza in exchange for an obligation not to expand into the West Bank and not to support tribal separatism.

But for this scheme to work as Tel Aviv intends, the US, as the main guarantor of the current deals between the Palestinians and the Israelis, must be brought into the loop. And no one is better suited to this task than Netanyahu.

"The CVN 80 delivery date shifted from September 2029 to July 2030 due to delays in material availability and industry/supply chain performance," the document’s footnotes read.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
US envoy ‘unbelievably’ satisfied with Lebanese response on disarming Hezbollah
[IsraelTimes] Thomas Barrack calls plan to dismantle Iran-backed terror group’s military infrastructure ‘spectacular,’ says ‘Hezbollah needs to see that there’s a future for them’

US envoy Thomas Barrack said Monday he was very pleased by the Lebanese authorities’ response to a request to disarm terror group Hezbollah, which was heavily weakened in a recent war with Israel.

"I’m unbelievably satisfied with the response," Barrack, Washington’s ambassador to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
and special envoy to Syria, told a presser after meeting President Joseph Aoun.

"It’s thoughtful, it’s considered. We’re creating a go-forward plan. To create that, we need dialogue. What the government gave us was something spectacular in a very short period of time," he said.

Lebanese leaders who took office in the aftermath of the two-month war between Israel and Hezbollah last year have vowed a state monopoly on bearing arms, while demanding Israel comply with a November ceasefire that sought to end more than a year of hostilities.

Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem
... the Grand Vizier of the Hezbullies...
said Sunday his group would not surrender or lay down its weapons in response to Israeli threats, despite pressure on the Lebanese terror group to disarm.

"Hezbollah is a political party. It also has a Death Eater aspect to it. Hezbollah needs to see that there’s a future for them, that that road is not harnessed just solely against them, and that there’s an intersection of peace and prosperity for them also," Barrack said.

He warned that "the rest of the region is moving at Mach speed, and you will be left behind," noting that "dialogue has started between Syria and Israel, just as the dialogue needs to be reinvented by Leb
...home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade....
Israel has regularly carried out dronezaps in Lebanon that it says are aimed at operatives belonging to Iran-backed Hezbollah, despite the ceasefire, which followed over a year of conflict, and two months of open war, sparked by daily Hezbollah rocket, missile and drone attacks on northern Israel starting on October 8, 2023.

It has also kept troops deployed at five border points inside Lebanon it deemed strategic.

Disarmament would end Israeli strikes targeting Hezbollah members and unlock funds to rebuild parts of Lebanon destroyed by Israeli forces last year, sources with knowledge of Barrack’s plan told Rooters. It would also include Israel pulling out of Lebanon, according to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named.

Lebanese authorities say they have been dismantling Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in the south, near the Israeli border.

Israel says it reserves the right under the ceasefire agreement to act against imminent threats by Hezbollah, and accuses the terror group of ceasefire violations, which it denies.

Iran's President Says Israel Attempted His Assassination
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told American journalist Tucker Carlson that Israeli authorities had attempted to assassinate him. The interview appeared on the journalist's website on July 7.

“Yes, they tried, they acted accordingly, but they failed,” the Iranian leader said in response to Carlson’s question on the matter.

Pezeshkian noted that he was at a meeting where the future of the country was being discussed, while Israel attempted to strike the area where the meeting was taking place.

He added that this attempt was made about a year and a half ago, and the United States was not involved in it.
They're better now.
Earlier, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said that Israel's goal in the conflict with Iran is not a change of power in the Islamic Republic. He named three declared goals of the Zionist regime: the elimination of the nuclear program, the elimination of the missile program, and the elimination of the Iranian command.

Later, US President Donald Trump did not rule out the possibility of a change of power in Iran if the current leadership fails to implement the slogan "Make Iran Great Again." Russian leader Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with the heads of international news agencies, refused to discuss the possibility of Israel killing Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the reaction to this.
