Yemen warns that upcoming military offensive will be ''completely different'' and unconventional
Are you trembling yet?
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] A prominent politician in Sana'a confirmed on Monday that the upcoming military operations of the Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
i armed forces will be completely different and far removed from conventional political calculations.

Hussein al-Ezzi, former deputy foreign minister and member of the Ansarallah Political Bureau, said in a post on the X platform, ''When you strip Sanaa and Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. of their rights and interests, it is only natural that we will not abide by conventional political calculations.''

He added, ''Anyone who is tightening the noose on a people the size of the Yemeni people should not consider themselves intelligent, because many unexpected things will happen,'' referring to the coalition countries, Saudi Arabia

Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual haj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Al-Ezzi continued, saying, ''The only solution is to respect the rights of our great Yemeni people, the people of Gaza, and all oppressed peoples.''

Britain
UK to recognize Palestinian state in Sept. unless Israel ends Gaza war, commits to peace
[IsraelTimes] Starmer says Britain could hold off if Israel also clarifies it won’t annex West Bank, take steps to two-state solution; Netanyahu decries move as ‘reward for Hamas’s monstrous terrorism’

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Tuesday that the UK would recognize a Paleostinian state in September unless the Israeli government takes substantive steps to end the war and humanitarian crisis in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip, and meets several other conditions, including recommitting to a viable grinding of the peace processor.

The decision, which was relayed by Starmer to his cabinet and then to the public by way of a statement at 10 Downing Street, was swiftly condemned by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who declared the move "rewards Hamas
..always the voice of sweet reason...
’s monstrous terrorism."

The UK government statement also acknowledged that “recognition by itself will not change the situation on the ground.”
The announcement marked a major diplomatic challenge for Israel, coming days after La Belle France said it would recognize a Paleostinian state at the UN General Assembly in September.

Starmer said that Israel could forestall the measure by reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and ending the "appalling situation" there, making clear that it will not annex the West Bank, and committing to a grinding of the peace processor that results in a two-state solution.

"The Paleostinian people have endured terrible suffering," Starmer told news hounds. "Now, in Gaza, because of a catastrophic failure of aid, we see starving babies, children too weak to stand, images that will stay with us for a lifetime. The suffering must end."

An unnamed source told Rooters that Starmer spoke with Netanyahu before the announcement. Starmer also spoke to Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....>
before going public, the PA’s official Wafa news agency reported.

Abbas praised Starmer and called on the UK to "officially recognize the State of Paleostine immediately."

French President Emmanuel Macron, who did not offer Israel a way to avoid the unilateral declaration of Paleostinian statehood, had been pushing Starmer to follow his lead, as were a growing number of politicians in Britannia’s ruling Labour Party, seeing it as a way to pressure Israel amid growing concern of starvation in Gaza.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot on Tuesday evening hailed the British announcement, writing on social media: "Together, through this momentous decision and our joint efforts, we are ending the infinite cycle of violence and re-opening the prospect of peace in the region."

Britannia, if it acts, would be the second Western power on the UN Security Council to recognize a Paleostinian state after La Belle France, and would be the closest of Israel’s allies to do so. The decision may lead more Western countries to make the move as well, with Malta declaring later Tuesday that it too will recognize a Paleostinian state at the UN General Assembly in September.

"Our position reflects our commitment to efforts for a lasting peace in the Middle East," Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela said in a Facebook post.

Starmer’s decision marked a striking reversal in policy after he disappointed many last week by rejecting calls to recognize a Paleostinian state and saying that the timing must be right as part of a wider grinding of the peace processor.

But he has been increasingly vocal about the crisis in Gaza, saying that the people there faced an "absolute catastrophe" and that the British public were "revolted" by scenes of hunger and desperation.

He said that before taking a final decision, his government would assess in September on "how far the parties have met these steps," but that no one would have a veto over the decision.

In his announcement, the British leader stressed that the recognition of a Paleostinian state did not amount to recognizing the Hamas terror group as a legitimate state actor.

"Hamas are a terrorist organization responsible for the October 7th atrocities. They must never be rewarded. We have been unequivocal in our condemnation of those evil attacks, and our support for the right of the State of Israel to self-defense," the government statement read.

"Hamas must immediately release all the hostages, sign up to an immediate ceasefire, accept that they will play no part in the government of Gaza, and commit to disarmament," it added.

The UK government statement also acknowledged that "recognition by itself will not change the situation on the ground."
Not just a vicious Jew hater, but an ineffective one. At least President Macron is pretty….
As such, it said that the move would come alongside "additional immediate steps to alleviate the humanitarian situation," including airdropping supplies into Gaza in coordination with Jordan, as well as evacuating injured children from the Strip to receive medical treatment in the UK.
Brilliant! As of yesterday, Hamas claimed there were 145,870 wounded — you should take them all for treatment, along with their guardians.

Syrian refugee charged with attempted murder for February stabbing at Berlin Holocaust Memorial
[IsraelTimes] A Syrian man who allegedly supports the Islamic State group has been charged with attempted murder over the stabbing of a Spanish tourist at Berlin’s Holocaust Memorial, German prosecutors say.

The suspect, a refugee partially identified as Wassim Al M., is said to have seriously injured the 30-year-old man at the landmark in the German capital in February.

The suspect “shares the ideology of the foreign terrorist organization Islamic State” and has “radical Islamist and antisemitic views,” federal prosecutors say in a statement.

He had traveled from the eastern city of Leipzig, where he had been living, to Berlin to target “alleged infidels, whom he regarded as representatives of a Western form of society that he rejected,” prosecutors say.

Shortly before the stabbing, the suspect, who was 19 at the time, sent a photo of himself to IS members so the group could claim responsibility for the attack, they say.

The tourist, from the Basque Country in northern Spain, was wounded in the neck during the attack at Berlin’s Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe near the Brandenburg Gate and the US embassy.

The suspect, who was arrested shortly after the attack and is in pre-trial detention, has also been charged with causing serious bodily harm and attempted membership of a foreign terrorist organization.

Merz Reserves ‘Right' To Reverse Course And Sanction Israel At EU Level
Yes, yes — this is where you announce yourself a true friend of Israel, doing this out of the loving kindness of your heart because you have taken lessons from the Holocaust that Israel unfortunately missed. Kindly go find something long and rusty to sit on and rotate.
Follow up to this story from yesterday.
[Politico] As domestic and international pressure builds, Chancellor Merz also said Germany will participate in an airlift to deliver food and medical supplies to Gaza.

Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Monday that his government is reconsidering its stance on the European Union’s association agreement with Israel, signaling a potential pivot as the German leader warned of the “catastrophic humanitarian situation” in Gaza.

“We reserve the right to take such steps,” Merz said in response to a reporter’s question on a possible suspension the EU-Israel Association Agreement, which provides for close ties on trade and other areas of cooperation. Until now, Merz has ruled out German support for a review of the association agreement, though other EU leaders favor a suspension or partial suspension of the pact.

As pressure grows on the German government to take action to alleviate hunger and suffering in Gaza, Merz also said Germany will participate in an airlift to deliver humanitarian aid into the Palestinian territory.

Merz said he would await the result of a planned trip of his foreign minister, Johann Wadephul, to the Middle East set for Thursday before evaluating possible next steps. At the same time, Merz said he was unable to comment when a reporter asked about a possible suspension of German weapons deliveries to Israel.

Germany is traditionally one of Israel’s closest allies, but pressure has been building on Merz to take concrete action to sanction Israel, including from inside his own coalition — in particular from members of the center-left Social Democratic Party. Merz’s comments mark the first time he has raised the possibility of sanctioning Israel over its actions in Gaza.

International pressure has also mounted on Merz in recent days as leaders of other European countries have urged concrete action. Last week, French President Emmanuel Macron said he would move to recognize a Palestinian state.

Merz said the German government would work with Jordan to participate in the airlift of food and medical supplies into Gaza, saying Defense Minsiter Boris Pistorius will coordinate closely with France and the U.K.

“We know that this can only be a very small help for the people in Gaza, but at least it is a contribution that we are happy to make,” Merz said.
If you really want to help, take in a couple hundred thousand of them as refugees until the mines are cleared and it is safe for them to return, should they be willing to live in peace with their Jewish neighbours, controlling any would-be jihadis in their midst.

conference on reviving the two-state solution for Israel and the Paleostinians. The "New York Declaration" sets out a phased plan to end the nearly eight-decade conflict and the ongoing war in Gaza. The plan would culminate with an independent, demilitarized Paleostine living side by side peacefully with Israel, and their eventual integration into the wider Middle East region.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opposes a two-state solution and has rejected the meeting on both nationalistic and security grounds. Israel’s close ally, the United States, is also boycotting, calling the meeting "unproductive and ill-timed."

Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon late Tuesday sharply criticized the some 125 countries participating in the conference, saying "there are those in the world who fight Lions of Islam and bad boy forces and then there are those who turn a blind eye to them or resort to appeasement."

The conference, which was postponed from June and downgraded from world leaders to ministers, for the first time established eight high-level working groups to examine and make proposals on wide-ranging topics related to a two-state solution.

"In the context of ending the war in Gaza, Hamas must end its rule in Gaza and hand over its weapons to the Paleostinian Authority, with international engagement and support, in line with the objective of a sovereign and independent Paleostinian State," said the declaration.

It followed a call Monday by the Paleostinian Authority delegation at the United Nations for both Israel and Hamas to leave Gaza, allowing the PA to administer the coastal territory.

The text also condemned the deadly Hamas-led October 7 assault on Israel, in which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken hostage — of whom 50 are still held, most of them not alive — and which sparked the war in Gaza. It marks a first condemnation by virtually all Arab nations of the attack.
At least something useful came out of it.
It also condemned Israeli attacks in Gaza that killed civilians, calling on Jerusalem to abandon many of its policies throughout the war and beyond, including its limiting of humanitarian aid to the Strip, its military rule and construction of settlements in the West Bank, its failure to prevent settler violence against Paleostinians, and its alleged alteration of status quos in Jerusalem.

The declaration also called for the possible deployment of foreign forces to stabilize Gaza after the end of hostilities.
Who will be the ones to bell the cat?
It urged an end to Israel’s ban of the UN agency for Paleostinian refugees and their descendants, UNRWA, while reiterating the Paleostinian "right of return" to places in Israel they left or were expelled from surrounding the 1948 creation of the State of Israel — a notion ruled out by successive Israeli governments which contend this would undermine its existence as a Jewish state.

The text also urged the rehabilitation of the Paleostinian economy, as well as the removal of inciting and hateful material from the Paleostinian Authority school curriculum — a demand also directed at Israel.

La Belle France, which co-chaired the conference with Saudi Arabia, called the declaration "both historic and unprecedented," calling on UN member countries to support the declaration, which outlines "tangible, timebound, and irreversible steps" toward implementing the two-state solution — which is strongly rejected by the current Israeli government.

"For the first time, Arab countries and those in the Middle East condemn Hamas, condemn October 7, call for the disarmament of Hamas, call for its exclusion from Paleostinian governance, and clearly express their intention to normalize relations with Israel in the future," said French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.

However,
Switzerland makes more than cheese...
while the declaration included general pledges for "full regional integration" and "tangible steps in promoting mutual recognition, peaceful coexistence, and cooperation among all States in the region," it did not include an explicit intent by the signatories to establish full diplomatic ties with the Jewish state.

The declaration, spearheaded by La Belle France and Saudi Arabia, was signed by the vaporous Arab League, the EU, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Spain, Italia, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Norway and Senegal
... a nation of about 14 million on the west coast of Africa bordering Mauretania to the north, Mali to the east, and a pair of Guineas to the south, one of them Bissau. It is 90 percent Mohammedan and has more than 80 political parties. Its primary purpose seems to be absorbing refugees...
.

"We call on you to support this document before the end of the 79th session of the General Assembly by contacting the missions of Saudi Arabia and La Belle France in New York," Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud told the conference on Tuesday. The 80th UN General Assembly is due to start in September.

The first step outlined in the declaration is to end the 22-month war between Israel and Hamas.

"Following the ceasefire, a transitional administrative committee must be immediately established to operate in Gaza under the umbrella of the Paleostinian Authority," it reads.

The declaration supports the deployment of a temporary international stabilization mission, mandated by the UN Security Council, and welcomes "the readiness expressed by some member states to contribute troops."

It calls on Israel’s leadership to "issue a clear public commitment to the Two-State Solution, including a sovereign, and viable Paleostinian State, to immediately end violence and incitement against Paleostinians, [and] to halt all settlement, land grabs and annexation activities in the Occupied Paleostinian Territories, including East Jerusalem."

The declaration commits to adopting restrictive measures against violent mostly peaceful bad boy settlers and those who support illegal settlements, and adopting targeted measures "against entities and individuals acting against the principle of the peaceful settlement of the question of Paleostine, through violence or acts of terrorism, and in breach of international law."

It also describes regional integration and independent Paleostinian statehood as "intertwined objectives."

"Only by ending the war in Gaza, releasing all hostages, ending occupation, rejecting violence and terror, realizing an independent, sovereign, and democratic Paleostinian State, ending the occupation of all Arab territories and providing solid security guarantees for Israel and Paleostine, can normal relations and coexistence among the region’s peoples and States be achieved," it reads.

The declaration urges countries to recognize the state of Paleostine, calling this "an essential and indispensable component of the achievement of the two-state solution." Without naming Israel but clearly referring to it, the document says "illegal unilateral actions are posing an existential threat to the realization of the independent state of Paleostine."

French President Emmanuel Macron announced ahead of the meeting that his country will recognize the state of Paleostine at the General Assembly’s meeting of world leaders in late September.

The document was issued on the second day of the conference in New York, at which Britannia announced it would recognize a Paleostinian state in September unless Israel halts fighting in Gaza and commits to a grinding of the peace processor that ends with a two-state solution. Planned for two days, the meeting was extended into Wednesday because representatives of about 50 countries have not spoken.

For decades, most UN members have supported a two-state solution with Israel and a future Paleostinian state existing side-by-side. But after almost 22 months of war in Gaza, the ongoing expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, and Israeli officials declaring designs to annex parts of Gaza and the West Bank, many countries fear that a Paleostinian state could become geographically impossible.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres
...Portuguese politician and diplomat, ninth Secretary-General of the United Nations. Previously, he was the UN High Commissioner for Refugees between 2005 and 2015. He was the Prime Minister of Portugal from 1995 to 2002 and was the Secretary-General of the Socialist Party from 1992 to 2002. He served as President of the Socialist International from 1999 to 2005. In both a 2012 and 2014 poll, the Portuguese public ranked him as the best Prime Minister of the previous 30 years...
said at the meeting Monday: "The two-state solution is farther than ever before."

A separate one-page statement titled the "New York Call" was circulated by La Belle France, but the language was considered too strong, especially for Arab nations. It was only approved by 15 Western nations, including six that have recognized a Paleostinian state and nine others: Andorra, Australia, Canada, Finland, Luxembourg, Malta, New Zealand, Portugal and San Marino.

The statement, issued late Tuesday, says the 15 countries have recognized, "expressed or express the willingness or the positive consideration... to recognize the state of Paleostine, as an essential step towards the two-state solution, and invite all countries that have not done so to join this call."

Israel, under the current government led by Netanyahu, has long rejected the establishment of a Paleostinian state, and has refused to entertain the possibility of the PA playing any role in the future governance of Gaza. But it has offered few details of what it envisions as an alternative to the PA in postwar Gaza, beyond advocating for what it insists would be the voluntary mass migration of its population.

Israel’s offensive against Hamas has killed over 60,000 Paleostinians, according to the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry, which doesn’t distinguish between civilians and terror operatives.

On Tuesday, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar told international journalists that Israel would not give in to the "distorted campaign of international pressure" to end the war in Gaza and force a two-state solution on Israel.

"Establishing a Paleostinian state today is establishing a Hamas state. A jihadist state," said Sa’ar. "It ain’t gonna happen."

Al-Sudani says his government also reached out to leaders in Iran "to urge them toward calm and to make room for dialogue and a return to negotiations."

He also defends Baghdad’s handling of efforts to free Israeli-Russian researcher Elizabeth Tsurkov, who went missing in Iraq in 2023.

Her family believes she is being held by the Iraqi militia Kataib Hezbollah, and there have reportedly been US-mediated negotiations to negotiate her release.

Al-Sudani does not name the group responsible for Tsurkov’s kidnapping, but pushes back against the idea that his government has not made serious efforts to free her, saying his government has a team dedicated to finding her.

"We do not negotiate with gangs and kidnappers," he says, but the team has been in discussions with political factions that might be able to help locate her.

IDF publishes video it says shows Hamas terrorists looting humanitarian aid in Gaza
[IsraelTimes] The IDF publishes footage it says shows armed Hamas operatives looting a truck of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip last week.

The IDF does not explain how it was able to identify the individuals seen as Hamas operatives.

The clip, which the IDF says is from Friday, shows gunmen on top of a truck carrying aid, while a crowd of Palestinians surrounds it.

The military claims the video shows “armed Hamas terrorists… violently looting humanitarian aid that had been transferred into the Gaza Strip, preventing it from reaching the civilian population of Gaza.”

“Contrary to Hamas’s false claims that the individuals in the video are security personnel, they are in fact Hamas terrorists who arrived to seize the aid from Gaza’s residents. Even when aid is delivered into Gaza, Hamas loots it for its own use, blatantly disregarding the needs of the population,” the IDF says, adding that “this footage is further evidence that Hamas is the primary obstacle to the delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.”

The military says it is publishing the video after Hamas in recent weeks “spread false claims about a deliberate starvation campaign in Gaza.”

Last week, a senior Israeli defense official said that nearly all of the trucks heading to the warehouses of aid organizations and the UN were looted by Gazan mobs, not Hamas.

IDF reveals footage of armed Hamas terrorists looting humanitarian aid

In recent weeks, the Hamas terrorist organization has published false claims about deliberate starvation in Gaza.

In footage filmed on 25.7.25, armed Hamas terrorists are seen violently looting humanitarian aid that was brought into the Gaza Strip, preventing it from reaching the civilian population.

Contrary to Hamas's false claims that these are security personnel, these are Hamas terrorists who arrived to loot the humanitarian aid from Gaza residents.

Even when aid is delivered to Gaza – Hamas loots it for its own needs, completely disregarding the residents of the Gaza Strip.

The footage serves as further evidence that Hamas is the primary entity harming the delivery of aid to the residents of the Strip.

Hamas political leaders said to fear Israeli assassination attempts amid bid to restart talks
[IsraelTimes] Hamas leaders are bolstering security around themselves over fears that Israel may try to assassinate Politburo members abroad, the Haaretz daily reports, citing Palestinian sources.

Sources also tell Haaretz they worry Israel could launch raids aimed at rescuing hostages.

According to the report, sources say they received conflicting messages in recent hours from countries involved in mediating ceasefire talks regarding the possibility that indirect negotiations with Israel could restart.

#1  At this point, talks are worthless since Hamas apparently has no intention of doing anything.

Right now I say that Hamas only choice is to release all the hostages and bodies and then maybe Israel will be willing to talk to Hamas.

Ex-US contractor who accused IDF of war crimes at aid sites ‘falsified documents’ to spread ‘false narrative,’ GHF says, sharing evidence
[IsraelTimes] The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation accuses an American former contractor who alleged that he had seen fellow contractors and Israeli soldiers use “indiscriminate” force against civilians at aid sites of deliberately spreading a “false narrative” after he was fired for performance reasons.

The contractor, former US special forces soldier Anthony Aguilar, alleged in an interview on Friday that he had witnessed “war crimes” being committed by IDF troops near GHF aid distribution sites, which have been plagued with near-daily reports of mass casualty incidents.

“In my entire career, I have never witnessed the level of brutality and use of indiscriminate and unnecessary force against a civilian population, an unarmed, starving population,” he had told the BBC.

In the aftermath of the interview, GHF holds a press briefing to present evidence that Aguilar “falsified documents” and “presented misleading videos to push his false narrative.”

In the briefing, GHF spokesperson Chapin Fay shares the content of text messages that show that Aguilar was “terminated for misconduct,” and did not, as he claimed, resign from GHF’s security partner UG Solutions by choice.

After he pleaded to be rehired and was turned away, he “threatened UG Solutions with retribution,” Fay says, citing a message sent by Aguilar on June 15 in which he warned that he could be the company’s “best friend or worst nightmare.”

After the pleas failed to yield results, Aguilar turned to the press, Fay says.

The GHF spokesperson also accuses Aguilar of falsifying a memo sent to his superiors in which he raised concerns about UG Solutions’ policies in Gaza.

While Aguilar claimed to have sent the memo on May 28, Fay shares metadata showing that he only sent it on June 21, after he was fired, and then backdated it to the previous month. The metadata also shows that he sent the memo to UG Solutions’ senior staff and to the press at the same time.

“Notably, on May 29, one day after Mr. Aguilar claims to have sent this memo to UG leadership, he sent a flurry of messages to the team, praising them for their work,” Fay says, sharing screenshots of these messages.

“It’s a privilege and an honor to see America’s best doing America’s most important work in places most Americans will only ever see on TV or read about,” one such message reads.

“Your efforts have brought families back together and have severely weakened the image of Hamas,” reads another.

Fay wraps up the briefing by noting that Aguilar worked for UG Solutions for just 27 days, “and more than half of that time he spent in a hotel in Israel instead of on the ground at distribution sites.”

“Not only did the events that he recounted never happen, but he wasn’t even in the right place or at the right time to have seen the things that he claims to have seen,” he says.

Along with the evidence presented in the briefing, GHF publishes a signed affidavit from UG Solutions staff members who worked with Aguilar and who contradict his claims.

Israeli FM Sa’ar to Dutch envoy: Palestinian state ‘ain’t gonna happen’
[IsraelTimes] Defense official says talks ‘frozen,’ confirms Israel considering annexation as tool to pressure Hamas; alarmed by conditions in Strip, FMs from UK, France and Germany may visit Israel

On Tuesday, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar summoned Dutch Ambassador to Israel Marriet Schuurman for a reprimand over the measures the kingdom is pursuing against Israel.

According to his office, Sa’ar told her that the Netherlands “harmed the chances of reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and a plan for the release of hostages, strengthened Hamas’s refusal and actually raises the likelihood of a military escalation.”

Despite the European campaign, senior Israeli officials pledged on Tuesday that they would see the war through to victory over Hamas.

In a briefing to foreign journalists in Jerusalem, Sa’ar said that the “distorted campaign of international pressure” to end the war against Israel would not work.

“It ain’t gonna happen,” he said. “No matter how much pressure is put on Israel.”

And in a visit to the Tel Hashomer recruitment center, Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Israel must retain its freedom of action in Gaza, even after the war comes to an end.

“In order for Hamas to no longer be effective, the IDF must have the ability — like in the West Bank — to operate securely in every location there,” he said. “We ourselves must be responsible for security in Gaza.”

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich told a conference that rebuilding settlements in Gaza is now a “realistic” option.

Addressing a conference at the Gush Katif Heritage Center marking two decades since Israel’s unilateral withdrawal from Gaza, the far-right minister said he does “not want to go back to Gush Katif — it’s too small, it needs to be much bigger, much more expansive.”

Gush Katif was the major bloc of Israeli settlements in Gaza before the Disengagement, housing some 8,500 people in 17 communities.

PM SAYS ‘OBSTINATE’ HAMAS BLOCKING HOSTAGE DEAL, AS HE WEIGHS ANNEXING PARTS OF GAZA
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that the Hamas terror group’s “obstinacy” was preventing a hostage-ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip, as an Israeli defense source confirmed to The Times of Israel that officials have bandied about several potential next steps amid the impasse in negotiations, including beginning annexation of parts of the enclave.

After pulling their negotiators from talks in Qatar last week, US and Israeli leaders promised to explore new ways to bring home the 50 hostages still held in Gaza, 20 of whom are believed to be alive.

Netanyahu met Tuesday afternoon with top advisers to discuss the captives, with a picture published by his office showing he was joined by government hostage point man Gal Hirsch, political advisor Ophir Falk and chief of staff Tzachi Braverman.

After the meeting, Netanyahu posted a video message on X, in which he squarely blamed Hamas for the stalled negotiations.

The prime minister began by noting that, in addition to his Tuesday meeting, “There was a meeting [about the hostages] yesterday. Two days ago, there was a meeting. The day before that, there was a meeting, too.”

“Since the delegation returned from Qatar, we haven’t stopped trying,” he said. “But there is one major obstacle, and everyone knows it — Hamas. It remains obstinate in its refusal.”

“[United States] President Trump said it, [US special envoy Steve] Witkoff said it, we’re saying it — everyone who knows the facts, including the mediators, knows it,” Netanyahu continued. “We are not letting up. We will continue to do everything we can — by one path or another. We are committed to bringing them home.”

ANNEXATION AMONG SEVERAL IDEAS DISCUSSED IN RECENT MEETINGS
Netanyahu convened the meeting as an Israeli defense official told The Times of Israel that “talks are frozen.”

“Hamas still hasn’t come back to the table” with a new offer, the official said.

Netanyahu will hold further consultations on Gaza over the next two days, the official added.

The official confirmed that annexing parts of the Strip is one of several ideas that have been bandied about in recent meetings.

The Hebrew-language Maariv daily reported on Monday that Netanyahu recently presented the annexation proposal in a meeting with a small group of ministers, who decided to establish a special entity for administering annexed areas.

Two sources told ABC News that annexation is “one of several options” being explored by Netanyahu.

Reversing such a move in the future would be extremely difficult. Under Israeli law, withdrawing from territory that has been formally annexed requires either the support of 80 lawmakers in the Knesset or a national referendum.

Witkoff said last week that the US would explore “alternative options” to free the hostages, and Trump indicated that he would support Israel moving ahead with military operations to try to “get rid of” Hamas.

“Now possibly the fight will have to be a little bit different,” said Trump in Scotland on Monday, adding that he told Netanyahu that “you’re going to have to now maybe do it a different way.”

Singapore says terror threat remains high, pointing to Gaza war and ‘radical narratives’
[IsraelTimes] The terrorism threat to Singapore remains high, its home affairs ministry says in a new report, attributing the increased threat to the the war in Gaza and “continued traction of radical narratives.”

While there was no current intelligence of an imminent attack against Singapore, the ministry says the Islamic State terror group uses propaganda to exploit the war in Gaza and local grievances to reinforce its narrative of armed violence.

Since the Hamas onslaught of October 7, 2023, which sparked the war in Gaza, six Singaporeans have been found to support or were making preparations to take part in armed violence because of the conflict, says the report.

“Singapore and our interests continue to be viewed as attractive and legitimate targets by terrorist and extremist elements, due to our friendly relations with Western nations and Israel, the presence of iconic structures in Singapore, and our status as a secular and multicultural state,” it says.

The ministry says a key threat is online self-radicalization, in a variety of extremist ideologies, especially of youths.

Since 2015, Singapore has used the Internal Security Act against 17 youths aged 20. Most recently it was used against two teenagers — one planned to shoot mosques, the other planned to join Islamic State.

The law allows suspects to be held for lengthy periods without trial, or to be given a restriction order limiting travel and internet access, among other conditions.

The threat assessment report also says artificial intelligence is emerging as a terrorism enabler for “generating and translating propaganda, producing convincing synthetic multimedia, creating personalized recruitment messages at scale and planning and developing attacks.”

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Imam Khamenei: Iran has shown its firmness and determination to the world
... while Israel was pulling their national Islamic pants down and giving them a Dutch rub...
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The Fearless Leader of the Islamic Revolution
...Iran's doddering head theocrat...
His Eminence Imam Sayyed
...Arabic term meaning your/his lordship. Groveling in His Exalted Presence is encouraged...
Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...>
confirmed that the recent 12-day war revealed the strength and determination of the Iranian nation, and showed the world the unmatched firmness of the Islamic Theocratic Republic's foundation.

Imam Khamenei made the remarks on Tuesday during a ceremony at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiya in Tehran to mark the 40th day since the martyrdom of those martyred in the war. The event was attended by families of the fallen, government officials, and people from various walks of life.

He said the war served as an occasion for the Islamic Theocratic Republic to display its willpower and capabilities, stressing that the root cause of enmity toward Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
lies in the nation's ''faith, knowledge, and unity.''

''The Global Arrogance, led by America, opposes your religion and your knowledge,'' Imam Khamenei warned. ''They are against this widespread faith of [our] people, their unity under the banner of Islam and the Qur'an, and they are against your knowledge.''

In parallel, Imam Khamenei emphasized that ''The West is using the nuclear program and enrichment as a pretext to attack Iran.''

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said both military and scientific advances will move forward with greater speed.

Imam Khamenei dismissed Western claims over Iran's nuclear program and human rights
When they're defined by the state or an NGO they don't mean much...
as mere pretexts, saying the real concern of the enemies is the Islamic Theocratic Republic's growing power.

''Our nation, by divine grace, will never abandon its religion or its knowledge,'' he stressed. ''We will take great strides in strengthening our faith and deepening our scientific advancement.''

His Eminence also underlined that ''Much to the enemy's dismay, we will be able to raise Iran to the pinnacle of advancement and pride.''

American missile defense in war with Iran
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text taken from the Telegram channel of rybar

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin is in italics.

[ColonelCassad] HOW MUCH DAMAGE DID THE US MISSILE DEFENSE SYSTEM SUFFER IN THE IRAN-ISRAEL CONFLICT?

According to The Wall Street Journal, the 13-day Iran-Israel conflict revealed the US Armed Forces' shortage of THAAD interceptor missiles, as well as problems with their effectiveness: almost a year's worth of ammunition for this type of missile defense system has been used up.

WHAT DOES THE PUBLICATION KNOW?
During the conflict, the Americans lost more than 150 anti-missiles - about a quarter of all stocks purchased since 2010. It will take from one to eight years to replenish the losses, even if Lockheed Martin doubles its production rate.

The cost of one such missile is $13 million, the total cost of reconstruction is up to $2 billion.

In addition, the naval SM-3s also showed lower than expected effectiveness (80 missiles were launched from destroyers).

The issue is so serious that the Americans considered the possibility of redirecting missiles intended for Saudi Arabia, but refused due to political and reputational risks. The recent escalation showed that even an expensive missile defense system does not guarantee protection from massive missile attacks.

The Iranians suffered significant losses, but the Americans were also let down by the limitations of their resources. The IDF faced a similar problem, for which the consumption of missiles was relatively high. And given the cost of ammunition for the Hetz and David's Sling systems, their replenishment will also be difficult.

In this context, a quick end to the conflict was in the interests of both the United States and Iran. However, given the foreign policy ambitions of the ultra-Orthodox government of Israel, this is only a temporary truce.

High-resolution infographics
Link above goes to a graphic that is, alas, all in Russian.

It is worth noting that, as it was recently revealed, the US deployed not 1, but 2 full-fledged THAAD batteries in Israel before attacking Iran.

PS2. Yesterday it became known that Iran has already deployed the S-400 battery transferred by Russia in the Isfahan area. It is already included in Iran's air defense system. It can be assumed that Iran also received air defense systems and radars from China.

"A silent battle with NATO intelligence in a 12-day imposed war"
Surely all wars are either imposed by the enemy or imposed upon the enemy. Is there another meaning that I missed?
An excerpt from the Iranian intelligence report on the results of the debriefing of internal attacks on Israel during the 12-day war.

In essence, this is the first detailed commentary on the failures of Iranian counterintelligence during the war with Israel. Under certain circumstances, this failure could have been fatal for Iran, but it turned out okay. Society held out, and the missile men did not let us down.

Statement-clarification of the Ministry of Intelligence of Iran on the “Silent Battle with NATO Intelligence in the 12-Day Imposed War”
I don’t see why they are whining about it — this is the war that Iran planned and practiced for years with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and Palestinian groups from the West Bank (the Houthis appear to be the amateur but enthusiastic back up, originally a fig leaf for QUDS force technicians, though later they got to shoot things off when the IDF made it too hot for QUDS personnel, and they ran for the imagined safety of home.. They have no business complaining that their plan did not survive first contact with the enemy.
What happened during the 12-day imposed war was a planned and comprehensive military operation with the simultaneous use of all the components of a hybrid war: military, intelligence, information-psychological, sabotage, terror, destabilization and the organization of internal unrest with the aim and illusion of “forcing the country to capitulate and submit, overthrow the sacred system of the Islamic Republic and dismember Greater Persia.”
*shrug* FAFO, as they say. Iran did start it. They just made the mistake of assuming Allah was on their side.
This operation was carried out on the orders of the hypocritical regime ruling in the United States, by the hands of a criminal Zionist group with the assistance of a number of European countries and with the participation of anti-government groups, takfiri terrorists and armed bandits.
Oh dear. Nurse! He needs the yellow pills this time — his blood pressure is getting dangerous!
The enemy sought to activate bandits and various types of terrorists under various covers, activate spy agencies in standby mode, conduct terrorist and sabotage operations, bring mercenaries, monarchist scum, hooligans, rebel centers and sleeper cells of the "mujahideen (MKO)" to the streets in order to stir up discontent, incite protests and turn the situation into unbridled street chaos.
Ooooooooohhhhhh….Mossad is really good at what they do!
Numerous offensive and reconnaissance actions (active reconnaissance) were carried out in various cities of the occupied territories against the interests of the Zionist regime and the criminal group ruling in it. One of the approaches used was to recruit agents from the deepest depths of the regime's military and intelligence structures to carry out assigned missions, obtain documented and videotaped reports of the operations and verify them.
Does he mean all those people Israel has been arresting? I wonder how many of them have been watched from the beginning, and perhaps fed dangerously misleading information…
At present, it is confidently stated that although the regime has managed to identify and arrest some Israeli agents, the larger and more sensitive part of the operations continues. 20 Mossad spies, operatives, and support agents and those associated with it were identified and arrested.
Ah . He means the ones on Persian soil. So many that they’ll never catch them all — really, some of the placements are so funny!
The regime's terrorist plans to assassinate 23 government officials during the 12-day war were uncovered and thwarted. Also, in the last months before the war, 13 similar plots were uncovered and thwarted, which, with God's help, prevented the assassination of 35 high-ranking civilian and military officials.
But not the other ones, because look at the deaths… and some of them looked so terribly natural…
The monarchist opposition forces, led by the Mossad, planned a massive invasion of armed groups into Tehran on 1 Tirah (Iranian calendar). The plan included mobilizing the families of prisoners and protesters outside the prison to provoke street riots. This scenario was foiled by the arrest of 122 agents in 23 provinces before the attacks.

During the same period, a Mossad cell under the guise of a Christian Zionist movement, linked to churches in Seattle and the occupied territories, carried out subversive activities. 53 foreign-trained agents were arrested, their bases were identified, their weapons were seized, and the group's activities were neutralized.

[A total of] 98 operatives linked to a Zionist-terrorist TV channel were detained or summoned to security services.

Six major arms shipments to Kurdistan and the logistical network of the terrorist group's military wing in Iraqi Kurdistan were successfully destroyed.

The people's support played a special role - smart, loyal and selfless. After calls for assistance in identifying suspicious activity, Iranians responded en masse, showing heroism that cannot be described in words. We bow our heads to the greatness of this nation and ask for continued cooperation in the future.

10 actions of the Iranian Intelligence Ministry against terrorist, takfiri and separatist groups:

1. Identifying and arresting three so-called ISIS emirs (commanders) and 50 takfiri terrorists inside the country, confiscating suicide belts and combat weapons.

2. Discovering the location of 300 foreign terrorists at a base near the southeastern border of the country, waiting for an opportunity to infiltrate Iran, and preventing them from doing anything. The Zionist enemy intended to recruit and organize hundreds of foreign mercenaries under the fictitious name of the "Baluchistan United Front" whose activities are being monitored.

3. Identifying the operational readiness of approximately 150 Takfiri elements located in Syria and awaiting dispatch to operate against the country, and taking appropriate preventive measures.

4. Identifying the 12-point program of one of the groups based outside the country's western border and intending to operate "according to the Syrian scenario", which led to the arrest of several members of the group at the border, as well as the discovery and destruction of weapons depots intended for smuggling into the country.

5. Obtaining information about the arrival of some leaders of armed groups in the Kurdish region of Iraq, as well as data on the military exercises of these groups in this region, and taking deterrent measures.

6. Targeting several operational cells of the "mujahideen" (the so-called rebel centers) active in the recent war in several provinces including Tehran, West Azerbaijan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Qazvin, Hormozgan and others.

7. Targeting several urban structures of two terrorist groups planning operations in the Kurdish provinces of the country.

8. Arresting radical elements promoting ethnic separatism in several regions of the country who were acting in unison with the fake regime, attacking national unity, solidarity and cohesion.

9. Obtaining information about the naive plan of terrorist and separatist groups to carry out operations and so-called territorial seizure (!) in the northwest and southeast of the country.

10. The arrest of a number of key individuals and logistics teams of intelligence and technical support of the old terrorist, separatist and anti-people group in Sistan and Baluchestan, who were preparing terrorist actions.
