Female Inmate Allegedly Raped by Trans Inmate in California Prison
[Breitbart] A woman at the Central California Facility for Women says she witnessed the immediate aftermath of a jailhouse rape by a transgender inmate.

Mimi Le provided a sworn declaration to lawyers with the Women’s Liberation Front, which will be included in the organization’s case against California, according to evidence from the filing obtained by Reduxx.

Le reportedly said she was one of many inmates who saw events involving what was described as a “sexual assault” committed by a man who identifies as a woman and was therefore locked up in a women’s prison.

On May 19, a female inmate was taken to a medical-administrative building after other female inmates reported to staff that she had been raped, Le explained, adding that she found the woman to be “barely conscious.”

Less than an hour later, the female victim was taken away on a stretcher under a “Code 3” alert, which means a person is unresponsive and unable to be revived via immediate methods, Le added.

Le and other inmates reportedly identified the alleged assailant as Jonathan Robertson, a biologically male transgender individual going by the name Siyaah Skylit.

Multiple inmates said they had heard Robertson shouting, “Fuck all you bitches. I’ll rape you. I’ll rape your mama. I’ll fuck all you bitches up — there is nothing you bitches can do.” He has also spit at fellow inmates, the women said.

“This was very triggering and saddening for everybody,” Le reportedly wrote in her declaration. “To be threatened by a man with doing a thing that he can do, that he is capable of doing, that he may already have done to other women, is terrifying.”

“They were concerned and discussed how to protect themselves; I convinced them to just go to their rooms while I asked for an update from the Captain to figure out how to proceed,” Le added.

Later, Le said she went to correctional staff to inquire about what, if anything, would be done about Robertson’s threatening behavior, at which point she learned he “had already been released back onto the yard.”

But “once the Captain learned of the rape threats, he decided along with the Sergeant to move [him] to administrative segregation,” the inmate said, adding that “before they could do that, the Warden overruled them, saying that an inmate-to-inmate threat is not an offense sufficient.”

Le went on to say that two days later, she and several other inmates were told they had been placed on a “confidential,” referring to a list of inmates who are considered to have their immediate safety under threat.

In her statement, Le said men “get to transfer to women’s prison because the prison fails to keep them safe from rape by other men in men’s prison — but now the prison is protecting [them] by getting [them] out of the men’s prison only to let [them] terrorize women with rape and violence threats.”

Shockingly, Robertson was immediately moved to the California Institution for Women — a lower security women’s correctional facility — just days after he issued rape threats, Reduxx reported.

“We are deeply saddened and disturbed by the reported rape at CCWF and by the reported actions of prison administrators, who have obviously failed in their duties to protect female inmates,” Women’s Liberation Front executive director Mahri Irvine told Reduxx.

“As the months pass by, more and more sexual assaults are being reported in prisons across the country — predatory male inmates are targeting vulnerable women, and women’s fears are disregarded by prison officials,” Irvine added.

Nearly 50 percent of male inmates identifying as female have been convicted of a sexual offense — compared to just 11 percent of biological males who do not identify as female — according to the Bureau of Prisons.

Meanwhile, among the incarcerated men seeking to transfer to women’s prisons in California, 33.8 percent (fully one-third) are registered sex offenders, with the sex offender inmate population being responsible for up to 50 percent of rapes that occur within the prison system, according to the Bureau of Prisons.

BREAKING: The Biden Campaign Officially Turns Down the Presidential Debates Commission
[PJ] The Biden campaign is officially abandoning the Presidential Debates Commission.

For months, the Biden campaign has been setting the stage for Joe Biden's potential refusal to engage in any presidential debates, while simultaneously laying the groundwork to blame Donald Trump for it — even though Trump has been calling on Biden to debate the entire time. Now, the campaign says it will not participate in the three planned debates for the fall, set up by the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD).

Instead, he’s calling for direct negotiations between the campaigns and is proposing two televised presidential debates in June and September.

“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020,” Biden falsely claimed in a video statement released Wednesday, "and since then he hasn’t shown up for a debate."

Neither has Biden, for that matter; he refused to debate his primary challengers.

"Now he is acting like he wants to debate me again,” Biden continued. "Well, make my day, pal. I’ll even do it twice. So let’s pick the dates, Donald. I hear you’re free on Wednesdays.”

#12  One of the things helping Trump in the polls is the widespread perception that the lawfare stuff is all bullscrit.

If they butcher the debate process to try to kneecap Trump, it will backfire.

The only reason the dems are posturing on debates is they realize the lawfare is fizzling and Trump will be on the ballot.

Call them racist? Teachers union worked with feds to neutralize parents with concerns about CRT
[Just the News] Blacks and Latinos more concerned than Biden voters about politicized classrooms, lack of parental say, according to Democratic report prepared for American Federation of Teachers. Strong resistance to gender ID without parental approval.

Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin's gubernatorial victory in Virginia in November 2021, widely credited to his promise to restore parental rights in public schools in the Democratic-leaning state, set off panic in the national education establishment.

Newly disclosed records reveal the American Federation of Teachers hired a prominent Democratic pollster the following month to survey parents and devise messaging to shore up AFT's weaknesses – particularly by tarring dissenting parents as racists – and shared it with a senior Department of Education official.

Deputy Assistant Secretary Montserrat Garibay, who came to the feds from the Texas chapter of the AFL-CIO, which counts AFT as an affiliate, is all over the first two-thirds of the 416-page Freedom of Information Act production.

It was obtained by the government watchdog Functional Government Initiative through a lawsuit filed against the department nearly two years ago.

"FYI," Garibay wrote in forwarding an email Dec. 13, 2021 from an AFT government affairs staffer, about the group's New Hampshire affiliate's lawsuit against the state for its "divisive concepts" law, to department colleagues including Office for Civil Rights Director Catherine Lhamon.

The AFT email says the "Koch-funded Moms for Liberty 'bounties' on teachers and the right-wing echo chamber of hate are creating a frightening environment for educators," who are "receiving unprecedented amounts of threats and ugly messages."

FGI, which has previously exposed federal-Twitter election collaboration, "dark money" influence at the Department of the Interior and President Biden's former COVID adviser scolding the CDC for overstating mask protection, sought "emails (with attachments), calendar items, text messages, memos and virtual meeting logs" that include "critical race theory" or "CRT."

FGI Communications Director Pete McGinnis told Just the News the group received the batch in December 2023 but took until this week to fully analyze it.

He wrote in a statement "the gulf between the education establishment and parents has never been greater, and it shows in the antagonistic language featured in these records," which illustrate that "the Education Department seems to be in a bunker with like-minded teachers’ unions and academics."

The court docket shows the feds have continued making document dumps, including 165 pages since a Feb. 26 joint status report, according to the latest update from the parties April 26. McGinnis said FGI is currently analyzing that batch.

U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta, who is overseeing several cases with national implications for free speech, Big Tech and federalism, ordered the parties to turn over the next joint report by June 25.

Lake Research Partners, founded by Democratic pollster Celinda Lake, conducted online focus groups with five demographics Dec. 1–2, 2021, "before the current Omicron surge and its implication of potential school closures," it told AFT in a Jan. 7, 2022, memo.

They were "white non-college suburban mothers, white moderate to conservative Democratic suburban fathers, White college suburban mothers, Latinx parents, and Black parents" – "no more than 2 participants in any group from the same state" – with kids in K-12 public schools.

The firm followed with an online national survey of "1,308 registered voters who are parents of K-12 public school students" Dec. 15-22, 2021.

The purpose of the focus groups included "show[ing] parents that teachers and teachers unions share their same goal" and "respond[ing] to the emerging 'parents' rights' narrative that the right-wing has begun to deploy with an eye toward the 2022 elections," the memo said.

Garibay forwarded the memo and the "poll deck" Jan. 13, 2022, to Donna Harris-Aikens, deputy chief of staff for strategy to Secretary Miguel Cardona, and then-Cardona senior adviser Christian Rhodes.

"Beth [Antunez, AFT deputy director] shared that they can give us a briefing as well," Garibay wrote.

The poll deck emphasized the survey respondents were "very satisfied" with how their schools handled COVID-19 "and rejected the claim that schools waited too long to resume in-person instruction," with a plurality saying schools struck a "good balance."

"Teachers unions are seen as a more positive force in education than before the pandemic," it said. "Parents have a progressive education agenda, focused on inadequate school funding, students falling behind academically and socially, low pay for teachers, and staff shortages."

AFT faces warning signs on fears of teachers politicizing their classrooms, especially "the way issues of race and gender are taught today (as they perceive it)," and parents wanting "a voice in what their children learn," with "many reject[ing] the idea that educators' expertise should always outweigh parents' perspective," the deck says.

"Parents do not think that teachers should bring politics into the classroom, and many think that talking about race, racism, and gender identity is inherently political," which is "the other side's most powerful framing," it says.

About a quarter of parents gave "somewhat" or "not that satisfied" answers on questions of politicized classrooms and parental say in curriculum.

Phrased differently, 72% of Donald Trump voters said they were "very" or "fairly concerned" about teachers injecting their politics, followed by Latino (67%), white (61%) and black (57%), compared to 50% for Joe Biden voters.

The gap between minorities and Biden voters was even more stark on parental say. Latinos matched Trump voters on concern (69%), followed by black (59%) and white (57%), compared to 48% of Biden voters.

The focus groups showed parents differed little in their concerns by race, with many agreeing that "teachers bring their own political viewpoints into the classroom" inappropriately. The deck said the "desire for greater parental involvement … has been exacerbated by the physical restrictions caused by COVID-19," especially in the black group.

Minorities again outpaced Biden voters in their concerns about "White students being shamed over issues of race and racism" – black 50%, Latino 57%, Biden voters 47% – and "Students being taught that America is a racist country" (48%, 57%, 42%). The deck emphasizes white parents felt these concerns most strongly.

The section on "Key Message Recommendations" may raise the most eyebrows. "'Critical race theory' has been successfully defined by our opponents, and many parents are also uncomfortable with the idea of teaching 'systemic racism' or 'white privilege,'" it says.

That's why AFT should go on the attack: "Expose and define your opponents' real agenda," which is about "prevent[ing] students from learning all of American history, both the good and bad," keeping "students of color and their families … invisible in history" and "trying to divide our community to advance their political agenda."

NYC Mayor: Migrants should be lifeguards - ‘they're excellent swimmers'
[NYP] Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday suggested migrants should be hired to fill the city’s lifeguard shortage — because "they’re excellent swimmers."

Hizzoner dropped the comment after being asked during a City Hall briefing about lifeguard staffing at the city’s beaches and pools, which have increasingly had issues in recent years, ahead of Memorial Day.

"How do we have a large body of people that are in our city, our country, that are excellent swimmers and at the same time we need lifeguards — and the only obstacle is that we won’t give them the right to work to become a lifeguard," the mayor said.

"That just doesn’t make sense."

Outrage as migrants who beat up cops in Times Square are all offered plea deals
[DM] Six of the migrants accused of assaulting two New York City Police Department officers in Times Square have been offered plea deals - including one who was re-arrested while out on $15,000 bail.

Ulises Bohorquez, Yohenry Brito, Edgarlis Vegas, Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, Wilson Juarez, Yorman Reveron and Kelvin Servita Arocha appeared in New York Supreme Criminal Court on Tuesday in front of Judge Laura Wood.

The Venezuelan migrants were charged with second-degree assault and the obstruction of a government admin following the attack on January 27 which was caught on video and all have pleaded not guilty.

The incident erupted when two officers attempted to disperse a group in front of 220 West 42nd Street. Lieutenant Ben Kurian and Officer Zunxu Tian are said to have suffered lacerations, bruising and substantial shoulder pain.

Judge Wood laid into Brito, who was previously described as the 'most culpable' of the defendants, for being rearrested on petty larceny charges while on bail and warned he would 'not see the light of day' if he so much as jaywalks.

Still, judge Wood did not order him arrested and he remains free.

The Manhattan District Attorney's office has offered plea deals to Bohorquez, Brito and Gomez-Izquiel for them to serve a year in prison in return to pleading guilty to second-degree assault.

Arocha and Juarez have been presented a deal where they serve six months in prison for pleading guilty to obstructing a government admin.

Yorman Reveron was also offered a deal of two years in prison in exchange for pleading guilty to second degree assault.

The defense attorneys have not agreed to the offers and Judge Wood ordered them to return to court on June 18 where a trial date will be set if no agreement is reached.

He was initially sent to Rikers Island but he was released after a church in Brooklyn managed to pay his $15,000 bond.

Authorities were called to disperse a 'disorderly group' in front of 220 West 42 Street when suspect Brito, 24, 'got confrontational with the officers' and they attempted to arrest him, according to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny.

'As Kurian is holding Brito against the wall, groups of people are heard shouting in Spanish at the officer,' he added.

'That is when Brito attempted to escape from Kurian and with the assistance of Officer Zunxu Tian, the cops grabbed the migrant's clothing as they tried to restrain him.'

Videos show the two officers and Brito falling to the ground and during the struggle, other suspects interfered by pulling, grabbing and kicking the cops.

As Brito attempts to wriggle away, the officers are holding on to his shirt that he eventually takes off.

'Go arrest those guys,' Kurian said as the crowd fled.

The case quickly drew international attention. It took days for police to indict the suspects in the case. Several were freed shortly after the attack on bail and some fled the area.

Brito, Gomez, Reveron and Arocha are all charged with two counts of second-degree assault and one count of second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

Gomez is also accused of attempting to shoplift at Macy's.

Police say neither Juarez nor Arocha ever hit the officers, but that Arocha kicked a police radio as Juarez watched from a distance before giving his jacket to Brito.

Gomez is accused of grabbing one officer and kicking the other one while Reveron allegedly grabbed, pulled and threw the two cops on the ground.

Juarez, is believed to have watched the brawl from a distance without participating. He has been charged with tampering with physical evidence because he allegedly traded his jacket with a man who fled police following the confrontation, prosecutors said.

Government Corruption
FBI lost count of how many paid informants were at Capitol on Jan. 6, and later performed audit to figure out exact number: ex-official
[NYP] The FBI had so many paid informants at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, that it lost track of the number and had to perform a later audit to determine exactly how many "Confidential Human Sources" run by different FBI field offices were present that day, a former assistant director of the bureau has told lawmakers.

At least one informant was communicating with his FBI handler as he entered the Capitol, according to Steven D’Antuono, formerly in charge of the bureau’s Washington field office.

D’Antuono has testified behind closed doors to the House Judiciary Committee that his office was aware before the riot that some of their informants would attend a "Stop the Steal" rally thrown by former President Donald Trump, but he only learned after the fact that informants run by other field offices also were present, along with others who had participated of their own accord.

The Washington field office had to ask FBI headquarters "to do a poll or put out something to people saying w[ere] any CHSs involved," he said, so they could get a handle on the scale of the FBI’s spying operations at the Capitol that day.

"We started getting responses back" from FBI headquarters, added D’Antuono, which helped identify which field offices had planted confidential informants in the crowd.

J6 Defendant and Founder of Condemned USA Sues Judge Juan Merchan and DA Alvin Bragg
[Gateway] In the heart of New York City, the legal landscape was about to witness a seismic clash of ideologies. The trial against former President Donald Trump was underway, but amidst the courtroom drama, a new player emerged: Treniss Evans of Condemned USA is once again rising to the occasion to thwart the obviously partisan trial efforts.

With a fervent belief in justice and democracy, Treniss again appears as a citizen challenging the legitimacy of the trial.

Treniss Evans is filing a lawsuit in federal court arguing that the ongoing proceedings are a direct affront to federal election laws and the impartiality of the judiciary, furthermore damaging Evans as a voter and his rights to unfettered elections.

A summons was swiftly issued for District Attorney Alvin Bragg, the prosecutor leading the New York effort, and Judge Juan Merchan, the presiding judge from the Federal Court in the Western District of Texas. Treniss saw them as key figures in what everyone knows to be a partisan crusade against Trump and vowed to hold them accountable.

Yet, for Treniss, this is more than just a legal skirmish—this is a battle for the soul of American democracy. Having already prevailed in the U.S. Supreme Court (see CondemnedUSA Amicus Curiae Brief Colorado Ballot), Evans stands emboldened in his quest to halt what he describes as the insanity of partisan actors manipulating the judicial process for their own ends.

Cuellar Aides Flip
[Battleswarm, HT Insty] Remember the bribery and money-laundering indictment of Texas Democratic Representative Henry Cuellar (TX-28)? Two of his aides just flipped.

Two former consultants to U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar have agreed to plead guilty to assisting the lawmaker in laundering hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Mexican bank.

Colin Strother, the South Texas Democrat’s former campaign manager, and Florencio "Lencho" Rendon struck separate deals with the U.S. Department of Justice in March, where they agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

The first of the two to come clean was Strother, who signed his agreement on March 6. Nine days later, Rendon entered into his deal with federal prosecutors.

In Rendon’s agreement, the operation’s origins are stated to have begun in 2015, when Rendon met with Banco Azteca executives at Cuellar’s behest to discuss supposed regulatory issues facing the bank.

After the meetings, Rendon allegedly signed a contract paying him upwards of $15,000 monthly to provide consulting for an unnamed "U.S.-based media and television company" connected to Banco Azteca.

Strother’s deal details that Cuellar then allegedly commissioned Rendon to meet Strother, where Rendon offered Strother $11,000 a month to participate in a clandestine project that Strother eventually determined to be "a sham."

Rendon’s agreement notes that he kept $4,000 for his consulting firm, while he expected Strother to keep $1,000 for himself and forward the remaining $10,000 to Imelda Cuellar’s company.

Rendon paid Strother $261,000 total from March 2016 to June 2019. Over $236,000 of those funds were allegedly funneled to Cuellar’s wife, Imelda Cuellar.

Prosecutors believe the transactions were part of an effort by Cuellar to hide the money from required U.S. financial disclosures.

Rendon and Strother have agreed to testify before a grand jury or any other judicial proceeding as part of their plea deals. Both still face up to 20 years in prison and onerous fines for conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Having your bagman flip on you is never a good sign for beating a rap, so I’d say it’s already highly likely Cueller will be going from the House to the big house, especially since a third aide has flipped.

A third person with ties to U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar’s bribery case has pleaded guilty, according to a recently unsealed plea agreement, after the South Texas Democrat was accused of accepting nearly $600,000 in bribes from Azerbaijan and a Mexican bank.

Irada Akhoundova pleaded guilty to unlawfully acting as an agent of the Azerbaijani government and a state-run oil company, a violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, on May 1, according to the plea deal first reported by the San Antonio Express-News. Akhoundova admitted to facilitating a $60,000 payment to Imelda Cuellar, the congressman’s wife, who was also indicted last month.

For nearly 20 years, Akhoundova has served as the president of the Houston-Baku Sister City Association, a nonprofit that builds ties between the Texas city and Azerbaijan’s capital, according to her LinkedIn profile. The plea agreement describes Akhoundova as an active member of the Texas Azerbaijani-American community. The court filing states that she served as the director of a U.S. affiliate of a Baku-based company, from approximately 2014 to 2017.

Unlike U.S. Senators, Governors cannot appoint interim U.S. House members. Article I, Section 2, Clause 4 of the Constitution states: "When vacancies happen in the Representation from any State, the Executive Authority thereof shall issue Writs of Election to fill such Vacancies." According to the Texas election code, U.S. House special elections operate under the same rules as Texas legislature special elections, namely "a special election shall be held on the first uniform election date occurring on or after the 36th day after the date the election is ordered. (b) If the election is to be held as an emergency election, it shall be held on a Tuesday or Saturday occurring on or after the 36th day and on or before the 64th day after the date the election is ordered." If Cuellar resigns in May, June, or July, presumably Governor Abbott will call a special election for the seat.

In August, the issue starts running up on general election deadlines. By Texas law, a party official has 74 days before an election to remove a candidate’s name from the ballot, but the Texas Secretary of State says August 19 is the date, which looks like 78 days, which matches this doc on filling vacancies. If Cuellar resigns or pleads guilty before that date, Democrats can presumably pick another candidate to run in the November election. Beyond that date, presumably whichever of Republicans Jay Furman and Lazaro Garza Jr. (who are competing in the runoff to challenge Cuellar) is nominated will win the seat, since Cuellar will be ineligible to serve despite his name being on the ballot.

Final thought: Cuellar is the last even nominally pro-life Democrat in the U.S. House. The conspiracy-minded might think this is the only reason the Biden DOJ was allowed to indict him...

That and he was fairly vocal in his criticisms of the Biden Administration response to the border disaster.
