-Lurid Crime Tales-
Muslim man has been identified as the driver who tried to run down students outside a Brooklyn Jewish school
[X]

On Wednesday, a Pak immigrant was caught on video attempting to run down Orthodox Jewish students and a rabbi outside a Brooklyn Yeshiva and, according to witnesses, yelled "I’m gonna kill all the Jews."

Video from the Flatbush Shomrim Safety Patrol showed, at approximately 11:25 am, the driver revving the engine of his 2011 white Crown Victoria, then mounting the curb and aiming his car toward Jews outside the Mesivta Nachlas Yakov School.

"I’m gonna kill all the Jews," the driver yelled, according to witnesses. He then drove around the block and back toward the school, again targeting two students and a rabbi outside the school.

The driver fled, but was quickly found at a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts by members of a Jewish safety patrol called the Shomrim. They called the NYPD, who arrested the suspect and transferred him to a Coney Island Hospital.

According to police, the alleged driver was Asghar Ali, 58, a Pak immigrant cab driver with a history of mental illness. NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is now investigating the case. He is originally from Pakistain and has been living in the US for more than twenty years and is considered an "emotionally disturbed" person, according to police. He also has four prior arrests, and though he claims to be a cab driver, he does not have a valid taxi license.

Ali is facing over a dozen charges, including attempted murder, attempted assault, and hate crimes charges.

Courtesy of Skidmark, FoxNews has security camera footage, and the Daily Mail has photos of the miscreant being arrested.

Arabia
Britain joins US in fresh strikes against Houthis in Yemen: More than a dozen targets are blasted
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Britain has joined the US in fresh strikes against the Houthis in Yemen as more than a dozen targets have been blasted in the fifth wave of attacks.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) confirmed strikes took place against the Iranian-backed terror group on Thursday as part of a response to assaults on cargo ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

British and American fighter jets as well as US ships hit a wide range of underground facilities, missile launchers, command and control sites, a Houthi vessel and other facilities, according to officials.

Also struck were eight uncrewed aerial vehicles in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen that were determined to be presenting a threat to US and coalition forces.

The MoD said intelligence had confirmed two locations near Hudaydah as being involved with the anti-shipping attacks, with buildings identified as housing drone ground control facilities and providing storage for very long range drones.

Surface-to-air weapons used to impede coalition operations to safeguard shipping in the region were also believed to be on-site.

A set of Houthi facilities at Ghulayfiqah, further south on the Yemeni coast, were also identified as being involved in the command and control of the group's anti-shipping campaign.

RAF Typhoon FGR4s conducted strikes on the target buildings at the three locations, using Paveway IV guided bombs.

The MoD said the 'utmost care' was taken in planning the strikes to 'minimise any risk to civilians or non-military infrastructure'.

The US F/A-18 fighter jets launched from the USS Dwight D Eisenhower aircraft carrier in the Red Sea, officials said. Other US warships in the region also participated.

This is the fifth time the US and British militaries have conducted a combined operation against the Houthis since January 12.

The US has also been carrying out almost daily strikes to take out Houthi targets, including incoming missiles and drones aimed at ships, as well as weapons that were prepared to launch.

The Houthis in recent months have stepped up attacks on shipping in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The Houthis have launched more than 50 attacks on shipping, seized one vessel and sunk another since November, according to the US Maritime Administration.

Earlier this week, missile attacks twice damaged a Marshall Islands-flagged, Greek-owned ship in the Red Sea off the coast of Yemen, with a private security firm saying radio traffic suggested the vessel took on water after being struck.

While no group claimed responsibility, suspicion fell on the Houthis.

Meanwhile US warships took out a number of missile launchers and drones targeting vessels in the region over the past week.

President Joe Biden and other senior leaders have repeatedly warned that the US will not tolerate the Houthi attacks against commercial shipping. But the counterattacks have not appeared to diminish the Houthis' campaign against shipping in the region.

In France, police detained ten suspected Islamists
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] French police carried out a major operation in several French cities and detained ten people suspected of being members of radical Islamist groups. France 3 TV channel reported this

The raid covered Reims, Strasbourg, Toulouse and other cities. Journalists claim that one of the detainees may be connected with the murder of French teacher Samuel Paty.
Sounds like ISIS.
As reported by IA Regnum, Samuel Paty was killed in a suburb of Paris in October 2020. Presumably, the reason for the attack on the teacher was his lecture on freedom of speech and opinion, during which he showed students caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.

Abdulakh Anzorov, who was 18 years old at that time, was accused of committing the crime. He has lived in France since 2008. The police tried to detain Anzorov, but he did not respond to demands to surrender and was shot dead.

The newspaper Le Parisien claimed that Anzorov, shortly before the crime, came into contact with an Islamist in Syria. Several people were detained as part of the investigation into this case.

In December 2023, a court in Paris found six teenagers guilty of involvement in the murder of Paty. They received prison sentences ranging from 14 months suspended to six months imprisonment.

At least 12 arrested as riot police dismantle anti-Israel camp at Detroit university
[IsraelTimes] Wayne State University head says protest created ‘environment of exclusion’ in which some students ‘felt unwelcome’; staff told to work remotely; in-person summer classes suspended

WSU University President Kimberly Andrews Espy cited health and safety concerns and disruptions to campus operations. Staff were encouraged to work remotely this week, and in-person summer classes were suspended.

"No individual or group is permitted to claim campus property for their own use and deny others access to that property," Espy said.

The camp, she added, "created an environment of exclusion — one in which some members of our campus community felt unwelcome and unable to fully participate in campus life."

Television video showed Wayne State and Detroit police in riot gear tearing down fencing and breaking down tents erected May 23 on green space near the undergraduate library. Clips posted to social media showed violent mostly peaceful arrests, with protesters hurling verbal abuse at officers in riot gear.

At least 12 people were arrested for trespassing or other offenses, including one for assaulting a police officer, Wayne State spokesperson Matt Lockwood said.

Wayne State has 16,000 undergraduate students but fewer during the summer term. The protesters have demanded that the school divest from weapons manufacturers supplying Israel, provide a full disclosure of investments and cease delegation trips to Israel.

Wayne State this week posted a video of its efforts to invite protesters to private meetings with Espy and other officials if they would dismantle the camp. Lockwood said all were rejected.

, a Michigan Democrat who is of Paleostinian origin, visited the encampment site Thursday after it was broken up to offer support to the protesters.

Ali Hassan, who represents WSU Students for Justice in Paleostine, told WXYZ-TV this week that he believed the university’s shift to remote learning means the administration is taking notice of the student protests.

"The reason that they went remote is because we have put pressure on them," he said.

The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on May 21 broke up a similar encampment after 30 days, after student demonstrators showed up at the home of a school official and placed fake body bags on her lawn.

The Golden Arrow Girls Middle School in Shakhimar village of Razmak tehsil was set ablaze on the night of May 25.

According to a first information report (FIR) registered against the teacher, the five masked gunnies barged into the school and torched the classrooms.

The FIR stated that the school was set on fire at the behest of the teacher in a bid to create fear and harass the students.

Furniture, ceiling, computers, books, and other equipment of the school were gutted in the blaze.

Iraqi police suspect anti-Israel motive behind attacks on KFC outlets in Baghdad
[IsraelTimes] Sources say several suspects arrested over pair of attacks, one of which involved makeshift bomb; fried chicken chain has been named in ‘Israel Boycott Guide’

Two Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants were attacked in Baghdad over the past 48 hours, causing damage but no injuries, and Iraqi security forces arrested some suspects, the interior ministry and police sources said on Monday.

Strip, police sources said.

The first attack took place early on Sunday when two men on a cycle of violence threw a makeshift bomb at a branch of the American fried chicken chain restaurant in eastern Baghdad’s Paleostine Street, causing minor damage, police sources said.

On Monday, another KFC Baghdad branch and a second American-style restaurant were attacked by group of masked men who broke into the restaurants and used sticks to smash glass and destroy furniture.

They fled before the arrival of security forces, police sources said.

KFC did not immediately comment on the attacks.

The interior ministry did not elaborate on the motives behind the attacks and said a police commander and other officers responsible for the areas where the attacks occurred were tossed into the calaboose and faced punitive measures.

The attacks come after an "Israel Boycott Guide" online listed KFC as a target of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel.

"The fried chicken chain’s "parent company Yum Brands is an investor in Israeli start ups," the website states. It instructs readers: "Don’t eat from KFC restaurants. Don’t work in KFC restaurants."

Western brands have been hit by boycotts and other forms of protest against Israel amid the war in Gaza that was started by Hamas’s devastating October 7 attack. The boycotts has hurt the fast food industry in countries across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, according to a report last month in Time Magazine.

The article said that international sales at McDonald’s increased by only 0.7% in the last quarter of 2023, compared to 16.5% growth in the same period the previous year.

McDonald’s drew the ire of BDS activists after local franchises provided free meals to Israeli soldiers.

In April, the McDonald’s Corporation purchased its brand back from Alonyal Limited, the Israeli corporation that had operated the chain in Israel for more than three decades, overseeing 225 restaurants at the time of the acquisition.

s throughout Gaza over the past day, including an attack that killed two terror operatives seen leaving a building in northern Gaza where shells had been launched toward Israeli troops.

In northern Gaza, the army said troops were continuing to operate in the heart of Jabaliya, where they were finding weapons and engaging Gazook fighters attacking them.

An AFP correspondent reported artillery and gunfire in Gaza City’s southern neighborhood of Zeitoun, where witnesses said thick plumes of smoke rose over Jabaliya and Beit Lahiya.

Troops were also operating in central Gaza, where they found an arms cache, the IDF said.

In the southern city of Rafah, soldiers uncovered tunnel shafts, an ammunition depot, anti-tank missile launchers, explosives, and other unspecified arms, the IDF said Thursday.

Also in Rafah, an airstrike was called in on three terror operatives who opened fire on troops, and residents reported intense artillery shelling and gunfire.

Troops have killed around 300 terror operatives since the operation in Rafah was launched on May 6, government spokesperson David Mencer said.

The IDF also announced Thursday that a booby-trapped tunnel shaft that killed three soldiers in Rafah on Tuesday was located inside a medical clinic.

The military said that forces had come under anti-tank missile fire from an UNRWA school in Rafah, and in response launched a raid against the building and an adjacent mosque and clinic.

During searches in the area, a booby-trapped tunnel was discovered inside the clinic, which then went kaboom!, killing three soldiers of the Nahal Brigade’s 50th Battalion.

The IDF said troops also found a cache of weapons, as well as additional tunnel shafts, inside the UNRWA school complex, including within the classrooms.

terror groups in Gaza were showing they are still capable of attacking Israeli territory, as rocket sirens were triggered in Nirim near the Gaza border on Thursday morning.

The alarm was the first to sound in southern Israel since a Tuesday night alert in Mefalsim.

after the military announced that the Philadelphi Route along Gaza’s border with Egypt had been captured, the US said it did not object to this.

"When [Israel] briefed us on their plans for Rafah, it did include moving along that corridor and out of the city proper to put pressure on Hamas in the city," White House national security front man John Kirby told news hounds in a briefing.

Kirby declined to confirm if Israel had indeed seized all of the Philadelphi Route, saying: "It’s not our op."

However,

he said the move was consistent with the "limited" ground operation that Israeli officials had briefed the US on ahead of time.

Palestinian arrested on suspicion of trying to join ISIS, carry out attack
[IsraelTimes] Suspect, 22, traveled to Turkey and unnamed states in Africa, hoping to receive training for terrorism

A Paleostinian man is set to be charged with attempting to join the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
terror group in hopes of carrying out an attack, the Israel Police and Shin Bet said in a joint statement on Thursday.

The suspect, 22, was arrested at his home in Sawahera on May 6. He has been ordered to remain in jug until at least June 2.

According to law enforcement, during the interrogation "it emerged that the suspect supports Islamic State [and] recently tried to join the terror group’s ranks."

Authorities said the suspect was in contact with Islamic State representatives abroad, traveled to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
and Africa, and hoped to receive training and guidance on carrying out an attack.

An indictment is set to be filed in the coming days, the statement said.

It was the latest in a number of announcements this year of ISIS-related arrests, most of which have involved young men from neighborhoods in East Jerusalem.

In April, security forces said they had foiled a plot by three East Jerusalem men who had sworn allegiance to ISIS and planned to carry out attacks at Jerusalem’s Teddy Stadium and a local police office, two of whom intended to travel abroad to Syria or Iraq for training. Another East Jerusalem resident, also in his 20s, was later arrested on suspicion of being involved in that plot.

In January, police announced that they’d arrested two suspects, aged 23 and 21, on suspicion of plans to carry out bombing attacks in Jerusalem, in support of ISIS.

Then, later that month, police said they had arrested two more East Jerusalem residents, 19 and 20, who planned to carry out bombing attacks near the Knesset and had purchased chemicals to make explosives.

Israel has seen a number of ISIS-connected terror attacks in recent years, prompting a crackdown in 2022 after a pair of attacks that killed six people.

"No aid was sent today, but the one [shipment] that left two days ago is now being stored using a floating mechanism until the dock is fully repaired," said government front man Konstantinos Letymbiotis.

Letymbiotis said the United States had told Cyprus that "within the next few days, possibly in the middle of next week, the pier would be able to handle humanitarian cargo again."

"The transfer of humanitarian aid and its storage have not stopped in any degree," he said, adding aid would continue to leave the eastern Mediterranean island for the Gaza Strip.

Strip, as Israeli forces end their 20-day military operation there.

"I returned to Jabalia camp to get food and the special needs of four disabled people I have at home ... we now live in a shelter school in Beit Lahiya," al-Masri said.

"There is no longer Jabalia camp, there are no schools and hospitals, the scale of destruction is so great that no one imagines, and the destruction cannot be counted," she said.
That’s what happens when the extensive, multilevel underlying tunnel system is collapsed. Next time build on stable ground.

Nine killed in attack on family home in Beit Hanoon
[Al Jazeera] Our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic are reporting yet another Israeli attack on northern Gaza, this one killing at least nine people.

The attack, on a family home in Beit Hanoon, also injured a number of people, according to the report.

Earlier, we reported several strikes in northern Gaza that caused casualties, including one on a home in Shati camp, west of Gaza City, and another on a shelter for displaced Palesitnians.

'Islamic Jihad' published a new video with the alleged hostage Trufanov taken within the month
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The Saraya al-Quds group (a terrorist organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) published a second video with Russian Alexander Trufanov allegedly being held hostage. The video was posted on the movement’s Telegram channel.

In the video, the man stated his first and last name, and also talked about his state of health.

“The first thing I want to say is that my condition is fine and I am healthy,” he said.

The Saraya al-Quds group is the military wing of Islamic Jihad (a terrorist organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation)

As Regnum reported, a day earlier the group published the first video of a supposedly captured Russian. In these footage, a young man speaks Hebrew and promises to soon show the whole world the truth about the fate of the hostages.

Representatives of the Israeli Embassy in Russia commented on the information about the kidnapped person and his relatives. The diplomatic mission reported that terrorists kidnapped Trufanov along with his grandmother, mother and fiancee, who were returned to Israel as part of the first deal to free the hostages. The Russian's father was killed by terrorists.

Hamas militants attacked southern Israel on October 7, 2023. According to Israeli authorities, 1.2 thousand people were killed as a result, and another 253 Israelis were taken hostage. Some of them - more than a hundred people - were released as part of a week-long truce last fall.

On November 30, Israeli Sapir Cohen, the fiancee of Alexander Trufanov, returned to Israel as part of those released from captivity by the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip. As reported in the office of the Prime Minister of the Jewish State, Trufanov himself remained hostage to the radicals. Cohen was released along with five other Israelis.

Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Israel announced that they managed to rescue Irina Tatti and Elena Trufanova, the grandmother and mother of Alexander Trufanov, who, like him, have Russian citizenship, from Hamas captivity.
The Times of Israel adds:
In scripted 3-minute propaganda clip, hostage held by Paleostinian terror group since Oct. 7 mentions Israel’s Al Jazeera ban, indicating he was likely alive earlier this month.

onslaught.

The Russian-Israeli was kidnapped on October 7 from Kibbutz Nir Oz along with his mother, Yelena, grandmother, Irena Tati, and girlfriend, Sapir Cohen — all of whom were released in a hostage deal in late November.

Sasha and Sapir had recently moved in together in Ramat Gan, and had been visiting their family in Nir Oz over the Simhat Torah holiday.

Sasha’s parents and grandmother had been in their home, which had a safe room, while Sasha and Sapir had been in another house without a safe room. It was later learned that Vitaly had been taken from the house before the rest of the family.

In the propaganda video released on Thursday, Sasha mentions Israeli hostages allegedly killed by Israeli bombardment in Gaza amid the ongoing war, a pressure tactic that has been used repeatedly in clips published by the terror groups. In many of the cases, Israel says hostages were kidnapped after being killed by the murderous Moslems on October 7 or by their terrorist captors in Gaza.
