[SUDANTRIBUNE] On Monday, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continued their assault on populated areas in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, with heavy artillery. The attacks resulted in civilian casualties and a surge of people fleeing the city.
Eyewitnesses reported to Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... Tribune that the RSF launched a violent mostly peaceful artillery attack on several locations within El Fasher, killing and injuring numerous civilians. The shelling targeted the al-Wadi neighbourhoods, areas near the army’s general command and the main market, the Tambasi neighbourhood, and shelters for displaced people in the al-Qadi and Dar al-Salam schools.
Later that evening, the RSF attacked multiple sites in an attempt to breach the joint force’s defences. A military source informed Sudan Tribune that an estimated 25 combat vehicles entered the Bisharia neighbourhood, east of the city, but were repelled by the joint force after intense fighting. Fierce battles also erupted in the southern part of the city, where the joint force destroyed seven RSF vehicles and killed a significant number of their soldiers.
Additionally, the joint force shot down an RSF drone targeting their headquarters near the Abu Shouk camp for displaced people north of El Fasher.

Alnayer tweeted that families reaching the movement’s areas are suffering from hunger and disease, with children, pregnant women, and the elderly particularly vulnerable. Dozens are dying daily due to malnutrition and lack of medicine. He warned of a humanitarian catastrophe and called for urgent international intervention.

The attacks mainly happened on Friday night in the villages of Masala, Mapasana, and Mahini and were attributed to the ADF according to Lieutenant Colonel Mak Hazukay, an army front man in Congo’s North Kivu province.
These rebels also killed 30 other civilians in Masau, Mununze, Kabweke, and Manlese in the past two weeks.
The assailants also stole 25 cycle of violences and set fire to several houses during their incursions.
The populations of the entities attacked by these rebels fled their homes to take refuge in Kyatsaba, some neighborhoods in the western part of the city of Beni, and in Mabalako, where the General Reference Hospital is overwhelmed with patients, including the injured.
Since May 3, the civil society of Beni territory reports that 123 civilians have been killed in various attacks attributed to ADF rebels in the Bapakombe-Pendekali region, in Mangina, Mantumbi, Kudukudu, Kalmango, and Beu-Manyama.
The ADF, which is now based in eastern Congo, has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... and mounts frequent attacks, further destabilizing a region where many murderous Moslem groups are active.

[AFRICANEWS] Dozens of women and maiden of tender years have been unlawfully detained and abused in Nigerian military detention facilities after escaping captivity by Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... murderous Moslems in the country’s northeast, Amnesty International said in a new report on Monday.
Some of the women were detained with their children for years because of their real or perceived association with the Death Eaters, the report said. It cited 126 interviews, mostly with survivors, over the 14 years since the Islamic murderous Moslems launched their insurgency.
The report echoes past human rights One man's rights are another man's existential threat. concerns about the Nigerian military, which in the past has been accused of extrajudicial killings and illegal arrests in one of the world’s longest conflicts.
However,
some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves... the report noted that prolonged and unlawful detentions have been less widespread in recent years.
Nigeria's army dismissed the report as "unsubstantiated" and reiterated that it has continued to improve on its human rights record and holds personnel to account.
The conflict has spilt over borders killed at least 35,000 people and displaced over 2 million. Women and maiden of tender yearss are often forcefully married or sexually abused in captivity.
But the conditions some women found themselves in after fleeing captivity were so "horrible" that some chose to return to Boko Haram, Niki Frederiek, crisis researcher with Amnesty International, said of the detention camps located in military facilities in Borno state.
At least 31 survivors interviewed said they were held illegally in the facilities, the report said, suggesting the practice had been more widespread.
"Some said soldiers insulted them, calling them ’Boko Haram wives’ and accusing them of being responsible for killings. Several described beatings or abysmal conditions in detention, which amount to torture or other ill-treatment," the report said.
"The Nigerian authorities must support these girls and young women as they fully reintegrate into society," said Samira Daoud, Amnesty International’s regional director for West and Central Africa.

[Khaama] The German police announced on Tuesday that a 19-year-old Afghan youth was arrested on charges of attacking a 41-year-old German woman with a knife in Frankfurt.
This Afghan migrant attacked the woman, who was sitting on a bench in a park, and seriously injured her.
In a joint statement, the Frankfurt prosecutor’s office and police said that on Monday afternoon, the young Afghan attacked the German woman from behind in the riverside area of the Main River in Frankfurt.
According to the police, the victim was saved from the assailant due to the intervention of passersby. After the knife attack, the assailant fled the scene. The police stated that he was hiding among the bushes and was later arrested.
The Frankfurt prosecutor’s office has issued an arrest warrant against the assailant on charges of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.
The police have said that investigations into the factors and motives of the incident have begun.
This is the second attack by an Afghan migrant on German citizens in recent days. Sulaiman Attai, a 25-year-old Afghan youth, killed a police officer and injured five civilians in an attack on an anti-Islam rally in Mannheim on Friday, June 1.
In response to these incidents, Afghan residents in Germany have organized rallies to show their solidarity with the German police and condemn the violent acts. The rallies aim to demonstrate the community’s commitment to peace and cooperation with law enforcement.

[NY Post] Six Russian nationals suspected to have terror ties to ISIS have been arrested in a coordinated sting operation spanning Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia, The Post can exclusively reveal.
Two ICE sources confirmed to The Post they arrested the six people, who hail from Tajikistan, over the last week after the FBI contacted the agency to warn it.
Part of the investigation featured a wiretap which revealed one of the now-arrested individuals was talking about bombs, the sources said.
"Remember the Boston marathon [bombing]? I’m afraid something like that might happen again or worse," one of the sources told The Post.
The target who was subject to the wiretap was previously released by federal authorities at the southern border with a court date next year, but it has since emerged he has potential ties to ISIS, sources said.
Neither ICE nor the FBI immediately responded to The Post’s requests for comment.
The arrests come after warnings from FBI Director Chris Wray about possible ISIS terror plots taking place on US soil and the group’s potential for exploiting the southern border.
In April, Wray warned lawmakers of a possible "coordinated attack" which could take place in the US following an ISIS-K attack on a concert hall in Moscow — which was carried out by citizens of Tajikistan, killed 145 people and wounded hundreds of others.
"Our most immediate concern has been that individuals or small groups will draw twisted inspiration from the events in the Middle East to carry out attacks here at home," Wray told a House Appropriations subcommittee.
"But now, increasingly concerning is the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland, akin to the ISIS-K attack we saw at the Russia concert hall a couple weeks ago."
ISIS-K stands for Islamic State Khorasan, referencing a region which includes parts of Iran, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan. It is an extreme offshoot of the Islamic State militant group, founded in 2014.
Although the group has previously concentrated its efforts on Russia, multiple Western leaders have warned of their ability to launch attacks in Europe and America.
Just a month before Wray testified about the bureau’s fears, he shared his concerns with the Senate Intelligence Committee about a human smuggling operation at the southern border, with ties to terrorists from ISIS affiliated groups.
"I want to be a little bit careful how far I can go in open session, but there is a particular network that, where some of the overseas facilitators of the smuggling network have ISIS ties that we’re very concerned about and that we’ve been spending enormous amount of effort with our partners investigating," the FBI director said in response to a question from Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.)
"Exactly what that network is up to is something that’s, again, the subject of our current investigation," he added.
The bureau had been investigating whether dozens of migrants from Uzbekistan crossed the US-Mexico border with the help of a Turkish smuggler tied to ISIS, CNN reported last August.
The number of migrants caught at the southern border with suspected terror-ties has skyrocketed in recent years, jumping from 11 in the financial years 2017 through 2020 to 362 between financial years 2021 and April 2024, according to federal data.
With migration continuing at unprecedented levels, federal authorities have already accidentally released migrants into the country who have suspected or known terror ties.
Mohammad Kharwin, 48, illegally entered the US near San Ysidro, Calif., in March of 2023 and was freed into the US. However, it wasn’t until a year later the FBI notified ICE Kharwin was a suspected member of the US-designated foreign terror group Hezb-e-Islami, or HIG. Kharwin was rearrested on April 11 and remains in federal custody.
Additionally, ICE admitted earlier this year that a 27-year-old Somali national, who has not been identified by name, was let into the country despite being a "confirmed member of al Shabaab," a designated terrorist group in the US. The man was terror watchlisted and said to be "involved in the use, manufacture or transportation of explosives or firearms," but was released at the border in California in March 2023. Border agents have told The Post they know others have slipped through the cracks because they do not get enough time to effectively screen people.
"What you’re seeing now is only gonna get worse," one Border Patrol agent recently told The Post.
"ICE probably has a list of people they need to go after."
The Biden administration implemented a new border policy Wednesday to stop illegal border crossers applying for asylum until the number of illegal crossers apprehended falls below 1,500 per day.
Migrants, however, appear undeterred by the new rule and have been crossing into areas such as San Diego, which is currently the busiest crossing for illegal entries in the US.
Agents there have been told to exempt citizens of over a 100 countries from being removed, because the government has problems in returning them to their home countries.
Over the weekend, there were roughly 10,000 illegal crossings recorded by Border Patrol agents at the southern border, according to agency data seen by The Post.
Eight Tajikistan nationals with ties to ISIS were busted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Force in three major cities, a federal source confirmed to Fox News.
All eight Tajikistan nationals crossed the U.S. southern border illegally, and according to a federal source familiar with the sting, no derogatory information was initially flagged with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) during processing.
The suspected terrorists were "fully vetted" and nothing was flagged, according to Fox News' federal source.
