Somalia: Puntland Forces Advance in Final Push Against ISIS in Cal-Miskaad Mountains
[Garowe] The Puntland
...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion...
Counter-Terrorism Forces made significant gains in recent weeks as the war against ISIS bandidos faceless myrmidons drew to a close, further showcasing the resilience and commitment of the military to regain huge swathes of the Calmiskaad mountains.

In the Cal-Miskaad mountains, the ISIS bandidos faceless myrmidons have faced rough moments following the launch of Operation Lightning, which has left many fighters dead, some captured, and others scampered for their safety after intensive fighting.

According to senior security officers, Puntland Defense Forces have advanced into new areas within the Cal-Miskaad mountains in the Bari region to pursue ISIS holy warriors. At the moment, they are preparing the final assault against the group.

Military teams said the 1st Battalion of Puntland Defense Forces is carrying out coordinated offensives across multiple fronts in the Cal-Miskaad mountains, targeting caves believed to be final hideouts of the ISIS fighters who had fled from front caves.

Planned operations have been conducted in Dhaban-qooxle, Cas-caso, Ceelka Dul, Darayle, and Ceelka Gambarre, all located along the Baallade valley, the statement said, noting the intensity of the impending assault.

These operations aim to disrupt ISIS fighters’ movements and dismantle their foothold in the Bari region, northeast of Somalia, officials further said in the statement released on Monday.

Elsewhere, a no-confidence motion against Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has rapidly gained traction, with an increasing number of politicians signing on to support the effort, sources said.

Over 110 Parliamentarians backing the motion accuse the prime minister of failing in key areas, including national security, finalization of the draft constitution, federalism, the electoral process, and the fight against the al-Qaeda-affiliated holy warrior group al-Shabaab
... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...
The Federal Government of Somalia has been accused of failing to effectively come up with a strategy to fight both ISIS bandidos faceless myrmidons and the al-Shabaab fighters who have caused havoc in the country. There are calls by people piling on the pressure to the government to make security a top priority.

“So there’s only one way to make America great and that is putting a bullet in between Trump’s eyes.”
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]
…Those are the words of Jauan Rashun Porter, a resident of Rome, GA, who has been charged with threatening to k*ll President Trump.

According to investigators, Porter joined a TikTok livestream hosted by
@letfreedomrinng
, where he spent several minutes making repeated threats against the President, describing how he would assassinate him, and even claiming he would k*ll federal agents.

During the investigation, authorities searched Porter’s apartment and found two pipes, pistol ammunition, and Tannerite, an explosive. Porter—currently on probation—has prior convictions for terroristic threats, influencing a witness, mutiny in a penal institution, drug possession, battery, firearm possession as a felon, and domestic violence.

Texas ICE shooting suspects tied to secretive far-left anarchist group formed during violent 2020 BLM protests
[NYPOST] An armed mob arrested for shooting up a Texas immigration detention center last month are reportedly members of a secretive network of far-left ''anti-fascist
...anybody you disagree with, damn them...
s'' trained in self-defense and firearms.

An ex-US Marine Corps reservist and 10 others were nabbed after the group, who were clad in black military-style clothing, opened fire outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado back on July 4 — leaving one cop shot in the neck.

In the wake of the attack, it has emerged that several of the suspects have apparent ties to a left-wing holy warrior group operating out of Dallas, the Washington Post reported.

Some of them were allegedly trained by Benjamin Hanil Song — the former reservist charged with attempted murder in connection with the attack.

Song would allegedly host weekly sessions to train people for ''close quarters combat and large-scale shootouts.''

''The people that were showing up to learn from him — a lot were very young, na ve leftists,'' said Corey Lyon, a libertarian who attended some of the sessions but later cut ties with Song.

''They were scared. And Ben was offering them a solution for their fear.''

The group, which includes some transgender activists, is believed to have met during the Black Lives Matter protests in the summer of 2020.

They initially focused on social justice demonstrations but have since turned their focus to ICE enforcement.

It wasn't immediately clear exactly how many of the alleged ICE attackers were involved with the anti-fascist group.

Song, who was arrested after a weeklong search, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder of federal agents and three counts of discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

Two of the other 10 arrested — Autumn Hill and Meagan Morris — are transgender.

They were all slapped with a slew of charges, including attempted murder of a federal officer, discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence and obstruction of justice for concealing evidence.

Thousands of Palestinians flee Gaza City, fearing planned Israeli invasion
The average intelligence of the survivors is getting higher. How many of them would leave the Gaza Strip altogether if they could?
[IsraelTimes] Some Gazans reportedly plan protests urging Hamas to end war, as Israel set to allow shelter materials into the enclave in preparation for mass evacuation from city

Fearing an imminent Israeli ground offensive, thousands of Paleostinians have left their homes in eastern areas of Gazoo

The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. The government voted earlier this month to conquer Gaza City, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claims is Hamas

’s "last true fortress." The plan has sparked international outcry, mass protests in Israel and renewed efforts at reaching a ceasefire.

Israel said recently that it would resume allowing tents and shelter gear into the enclave in preparation for the evacuation of civilians from Gaza City, where an estimated 1 million are sheltering.

"I am heading south because I need to ease my mental state," Mousa Obaid, a Gaza City resident, told Rooters. "I do not want to keep moving left and right endlessly. There is no life left, and as you can see, living conditions are hard, prices are high, and we have been without work for over a year and a half. It is very, very difficult."

Ahmed Mheisen, Paleostinian shelter manager in Beit Lahiya, a war-devastated suburb abutting eastern Gaza City, said 995 families had departed the area in recent days for the south.

With the Israeli offensive looming, Mheisen put the number of tents needed for emergency shelter at 1.5 million, saying Israel had allowed only 120,000 tents into the territory during a January-March ceasefire.

The UN humanitarian office said last week that 1.35 million people were already in need of emergency shelter items in Gaza.

"Existing tents where people are living [in the south] have worn out and won’t protect people against rainwater. There are no new tents in Gaza because of the Israeli restrictions on aid at the border crossings," Paleostinian economist Mohammad Abu Jayyab told Rooters.

He said some Gaza City families had begun renting property and shelters in the south and moved in their belongings.

"Some people learned from previous experience, and they don’t want to be taken by surprise. Also, some think it is better to move earlier to find a space," Abu Jayyab added.

Israel denies that there are any limits on the amount of aid entering Gaza, but has placed restrictions and additional security checks on non-food equipment over fears it could be used by Hamas. COGAT, the Israeli body which deals with Gazook aid, said this week that the equipment will be sent via the Kerem Shalom Crossing following a "thorough security inspection" by Israeli authorities.

Israel’s plan to seize control of Gaza City has stirred alarm abroad and at home, where hundreds of thousands of Israelis on Sunday held some of the largest protests since the war began, urging a deal to end the fighting and free the remaining 50 hostages held by Hamas in Gaza since the terror group’s October 7, 2023, attack. At least 20 hostages are believed by Israel to be alive.

With Israel already holding 75 percent of Gaza, the IDF has warned that expanding the offensive could endanger the living hostages and draw troops into protracted and deadly guerrilla warfare.

Dani Miran, whose son Omri Miran was taken hostage on October 7, said he feared the consequences of an Israeli ground offensive in Gaza City. "I’m scared that my son would be hurt," he told Rooters in Tel Aviv on Monday.

The planned offensive spurred Egyptian and Qatar

i ceasefire mediators to step up efforts to forge a deal between Israel and Hamas, and a Hamas official said on Monday that the group had approved the latest ceasefire proposal.

Hamas has responded positively in the past, while proposing amendments that are unacceptable to Israel. Israel has accused the terror group of repeatedly obstructing the talks.

Many Paleostinians have also been calling for protests, a wave of which occurred earlier this year in Gaza. The demonstrations would demand an end to a war that has demolished much of the territory and wrought a humanitarian disaster, and call for Hamas to intensify talks to avert the Israeli ground offensive.

A protest by unions is scheduled for Thursday in Gaza City, and people took to social media platforms vowing to participate, which will raise pressure on Hamas.
