#2  I cannot help but wonder how many people in the world even know about the decades of the existence of this Iran Government Israel Elimination Countdown Clock.

How many university students?
How many dems? How many repubs?
How many official employees of UN? EU? MTG? NYT?
How many soccer moms

But Israel is lambasted for reluctance to "seek compromise" with such people? That would be like seeking compromise with NYC-Mayor Globalize The Intafada

Hamas weapons will be deposited with Egypt in Cairo’s reported plan to disarm group
Egypt trying to be clever.
[IsraelTimes] Egypt is reportedly proposing that Hamas’s weaponry be transferred over to Cairo for an unspecified amount of time as part of efforts to disarm the terror group during post-war reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

The initiative will also be coupled with Egypt’s public plan for a temporary government of Palestinian technocrats running the strip for several years after the war under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority, according to the Kan public broadcaster.

While Hamas has largely agreed to the latter idea, as it has expressed willingness to cede control of the Strip to independent Palestinian technocrats, giving up its weapons has been a red line for the terror group that Arab officials have indicated will be difficult to accomplish unless done gradually and as part of an initiative that establishes a political horizon for Palestinian statehood.

Hamas to date has publicly ruled out giving up its weapons, ostensibly seeking to secure the pre-2024 scenario that Hezbollah enjoyed in Lebanon where it didn’t have a formal role in the government’s leadership but had effective veto power over decisions due to its heavy arsenal.

Arab states, on the other hand, are envisioning a post-2024 Lebanon scenario for Gaza where an alternative PA-linked government is installed with support from neighboring Arab countries to stabilize the Strip by gradually working to disarm and marginalize what is left of Hamas.

However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has ruled out a role for the PA in post-war Gaza, a condition that risks leaving Israel alone to run the Strip and provide services to its roughly 2 million Palestinians.

DEA plans to work with Mexico to target drug smuggling corridors
[JustTheNews] Drug Enforcement Administration officials plan to work with their counterparts in Mexico to target the gatekeepers of the smuggling corridors between the two nations.

The effort is called Project Portero. It is aimed at dismantling cartel operatives who control the smuggling routes along the Southwest Border.

"Gatekeepers are essential to cartel operations, directing the flow of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine into the United States while ensuring the movement of firearms and bulk cash back into Mexico," the agency noted. "By specifically targeting them, DEA and its partners are striking at the heart of cartel command-and-control."

The project will include a multi-week training and collaboration program at an intelligence center on the Southwest Border. The program brings together Mexican investigators with U.S. law enforcement, prosecutors, defense officials, and members of the intelligence community.

They plan to identify joint targets, develop coordinated enforcement strategies, and strengthen the exchange of intelligence, the DEA said. The Homeland Security Task Force will also participate.

"DEA is taking decisive action to confront the cartels that are killing Americans with fentanyl and other poisons," DEA Administrator Terrance Cole said. "Project Portero and this new training program show how we will fight – by planning and operating side by side with our Mexican partners, and by bringing the full strength of the U.S. government to bear. This is a bold first step in a new era of cross-border enforcement, and we will pursue it relentlessly until these violent organizations are dismantled."

The man who took away the machine gun from the terrorist in Crocus testifies in court
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The man who neutralized one of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall was questioned in the 2nd Western District Military Court as a victim. This was reported on August 19 by one of the participants in the trial.

“Today we questioned one of the victims, he said that during the terrorist attack he attacked one of the perpetrators, hit him and took away his weapon,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The case materials also include testimony from this victim. During the terrorist attack, the man noticed the fourth of the criminals, who was walking along the left corridor between the descent from the mezzanine and the seats, and at that moment he tilted his machine gun to reload the magazine.

"He (the victim. - Ed.) decided to neutralize the terrorist. He pushed his wife away and motioned for her to run to the exit. With his left hand, he grabbed the terrorist's machine gun and pointed it at the floor, and with his right hand he began to hit him on the head. Then another man of larger build came to the rescue and also hit the criminal several times on the back of his head. The blows caused the criminal to lose consciousness," the documents say.

Then the men who had neutralized the terrorist quickly left the hall and began looking for their relatives.

Earlier, on August 19, it became known from the case materials on the terrorist attack in Crocus that two unarmed men tried to prevent the terrorists from shooting people in the concert hall. As a result, they were both shot point-blank by the criminals. The first squad of two police officers appeared at Crocus City Hall at 20:05 Moscow time, six minutes after the terrorist attack began.

Attempted triangulation? US House minority whip walks back reference to ‘genocide’ in Gaza
[IsraelTimes] Democratic Rep. Katherine Clark says she was only repeating her constituent’s wording when she seemed to echo accusation at town hall: ‘I am not accusing Israel of genocide’

House Minority Whip Katherine Clark, a member of the Democratic leadership team, last week became the highest-ranking member of Congress to characterize the war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
as a "genocide."

But she then walked the comments back on Monday amid a backlash, saying, "I want to be clear that I am not accusing Israel of genocide."

Clark’s initial comments came after she was confronted by protesters during an event in her district in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

"We each have to continue to have an open heart about how ... how we take action to in time to make a difference, whether that is stopping the starvation and genocide and destruction of Gaza, or whether that means we are working together to stop the redistricting that is going on, taking away the vote from people," Clark said, according to a video clip obtained by Axios, which did not publish the footage.

Her remarks appeared to reflect a broader shift within the Democratic party, as more members back legislation aimed at blocking US arms sales to Israel, marking a departure from the party’s historically strong support for the country.

They made her the 14th member of Congress to use the term "genocide," which Israel rejects but has gained increasing purchase, including from some of Israel’s past supporters, as the war has ground on.

Others using the term include a dozen progressive Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
, tallied by the pro-Paleostinian media outlet Zeteo, as well as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a far-right Georgia Republican.

But on Monday, Clark said she was not personally accusing Israel of genocide but had only repeated the word used by a demonstrator.

"Last week, while attending an event in my district, I repeated the word ’genocide’ in response to a question," she said in a statement issued to the Jewish News Syndicate.

"I want to be clear that I am not accusing Israel of genocide. We all need to work with urgency to bring the remaining hostages home, surge aid to Paleostinians and oppose their involuntary relocation, remove Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
from power and end the war."

Clark has been endorsed by the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC, which notes that she condemned Hamas after its October 7 attack on Israel, and traveled to Israel herself with AIPAC in 2015.

Clark is seen as a possible contender to unseat Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, whom pro-Paleostinian and anti-Israel protesters have targeted as complicit in "genocide" because of his votes on Israel-related legislation, as the party’s leader in the House.

She tends to vote with the party’s progressives but has not fashioned herself as a progressive activist while ascending sharply in the party’s leadership since first being elected in 2013.

Member of Netanyahu’s party says West Bank ‘sovereignty’ trumps Saudi normalization
Dear Saudis,

Understand that you are not actually the center of the universe, and you do not have forever before the window closes.

Yours most sincerely,
Israel
[IsraelTimes] Despite Riyadh long conditioning establishment of Israel ties on progress toward Palestinian state, MK Boaz Bismuth says annexation step necessary to achieve ‘victory’ in war

Likud MK Boaz Bismuth said Tuesday that applying Israeli "illusory sovereignty" in the West Bank was at least as important, and more urgent, than reaching normalization deals with neighboring countries.

Bismuth, an ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who was recently handpicked by the premier to become chair of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, made the remarks on a tour of the northern West Bank as the guest of Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, who has long lobbied the government to extend illusory sovereignty over the territory.

The tour took Bismuth to settlements, farms and security lookout points alongside Dagan and Yoni HaYisraeli, head of the local branch of Likud.

In a video distributed by Dagan’s office, Bismuth said applying illusory sovereignty to the West Bank, a step seen as akin to annexation of the territory, would be "a decisive victory" over Israel’s enemies.

The Knesset approved a non-binding motion in favor of annexing the West Bank in July. In recent years, in discussions about a potential normalization deal between Saudi Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula, largely made up of sand and oil rigs. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual haj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Formerly dictatorial and steeped in Olde Tyme Religion, deferring to Salafist holy men on all issues, it has now done a 180 and is making a serious effort to modernize, so as not to be left in the sand by its Gulf Arab neighbors. The holy men have been shoved to the background and the nation is now still dictatorial but somewhat rational. That doesn't make them trustworthy, but it's a start...
and Israel, the kingdom has stipulated that Israel take concrete steps toward the establishment of a Paleostinian state, which annexation would preclude.

"Normalization is important, but applying illusory sovereignty is no less important, even more urgent," Bismuth said. "With God’s help, we will do this quickly, because this war needs to end in victory."

"I feel much more at home in Samaria than anywhere else in the world, and I’m very proud to be here," said the politician, who resides in Tel Aviv, in the video, using the biblical name for the northern West Bank.

Israel captured the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. Strip and the Golan Heights in the 1967 Six Day War. Israel has since annexed East Jerusalem and the Golan, in moves that much of the international community does not recognize.

The West Bank is now estimated to be home to more than 500,000 Israeli settlers, in addition to millions of Paleostinians. Much of the international community says Israel’s military rule over the territory is illegal and views the settlements as violations of international law, which Israel disputes.

Annexation of the West Bank, or of its settlements, is a longtime aspiration of the Israeli right. In 2019, ahead of an election, Netanyahu pledged to annex the Jordan Valley, on the territory’s eastern flank. But that pledge and similar efforts took a backseat amid a protracted political crisis that saw a string of inconclusive elections, and one such plan in 2020 was scrapped in exchange for landmark normalization agreements with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

The government has not pursued binding annexation legislation since, though it voted in similar numbers last year against the establishment of a Paleostinian state.

Israel has so far refrained from annexing the West Bank and Gaza — which it withdrew from entirely in 2005 — amid international pressure for the territories to form the base of a Paleostinian state and concern for demographic challenges should Israel take in millions more Paleostinian citizens.

But far-right ministers in the current government have spoken repeatedly about their annexation aspirations, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has been leading a "de facto illusory sovereignty plan" by expanding settlements and approving new ones. Last week, he announced plans for 3,000 housing units in the highly controversial E1 area between Jerusalem and Ma’ale Adumim, saying the move "buries the idea of a Paleostinian state."

Protesters who were detained, held overnight claim police used arrests as punishment
[IsraelTimes] ‘We’re protesters, not suspected criminals,’ says activist freed by court; Tel Aviv court releases 3 on restrictive conditions
As far as I can tell, the ones who were arrested were doing things like blocking highways, setting fires, screaming outside ministers’ homes in the middle of the night, or attacking others, so yes they are criminals. Violence is not speech, guys.
Two men arrested during Sunday’s demonstrations in Jerusalem alleged in court that police had detained them as "punishment" for their activity as organizers, and to dissuade other demonstrators, rather than from a genuine desire to ensure public order.

The judge, who was asked by police to sign off on an order extending the two men’s detention after they were held overnight, rejected the request, batting down the police’s supposed reasoning for keeping them in jug.

"It was a very improper arrest," claimed Matanel Ciechanowski, one of the demonstrators who was held overnight in the capital. "We’re protesters, not suspected criminals."

He and fellow activist Rom Leor were brought to the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court around noon on Monday, in Sunday’s clothes and with their ankles cuffed, and a police representative requested they remain in detention for another two days.

They were two of 34 demonstrators arrested across the country for blocking roads during a nationwide strike at the start of the week aimed at pressuring the government into negotiating a hostage release and a ceasefire deal with Hamas
..always the voice of sweet reason...
The vast majority of arrested demonstrators were released after a few hours from cop shoppes with traffic fines at worst, but five were kept locked up overnight, Ciechanowski and Leor in Jerusalem, and three others in Tel Aviv.

Of the three in Tel Aviv, two were sent to house arrest while the third was freed entirely. They were all barred from attending demonstrations until September 15, according to their lawyer Nir Alfasa.

Representing the two Jerusalem protesters before the court, lawyer Yoni Nussbaum claimed his clients’ arrests were "political" — intended as punishment to suppress future protests.

For a court to extend a suspect’s detention, the judge must be convinced that they either pose a threat to public safety or stand to obstruct the investigation if set free.

Police argued the former, casting the two as a safety risk and warning they would "sweep others up" in future acts of civil disobedience. But the argument was rejected almost immediately by Judge Moriah Cherka on the basis that Sunday’s protest was part of a day-long strike that ended that night.

"There is no intention to disrupt traffic intersections tomorrow," she reasoned, and allowed both men to go free with no restrictive conditions.

Police arrested Ciechanowski and Leor near the end of a three-hour-long march through Jerusalem, which took an unexpected turn in the first few minutes, when hundreds of demonstrators rushed onto the Begin highway and blocked traffic.

Law enforcement allowed the march to take place along the major road until it reached a tunnel on Route 16. Demonstrators sat on the asphalt and refused to budge, at which point police began dragging them onto the sidewalk and spraying those who remained in the middle of the road with a water cannon.

Five were arrested on the spot, a law enforcement front man told The Times of Israel Sunday. But Ciechanowski and Leor were arrested separately from the five, long after protesters had ceased to block traffic in the tunnel.

"At the end of the march, after five people were already arrested, a group of undercover cops caught me and Rom," Ciechanowski said, "even though I was at the back of the march, without a megaphone."

Leor was arrested a few minutes earlier, also by undercover police. "They clasped my hands behind my back, handcuffed me, and told me I’m arrested," he recounted, noting that officers "didn’t give a reason for the arrest" at the time.

Ciechanowski and Leor told The Times of Israel that they believe police recognized them from past demonstrations. Both have been part of Jerusalem’s anti-government protest scene for years, first during the mass protests against the judicial overhaul, and more recently in support of a hostage deal and an end to the Gazoo war.

"The difference [in time] between the arrest of the five protesters and both the respondents was over half an hour. I’ll tell you why — because they... were marked as organizers," Nussbaum, their attorney, told the judge Monday.

The police representative, 1st Sgt. Ziv Harari responded in the courtroom that "he does not dispute that they are organizers."

"During the event, a police officer noticed suspects who were there leading people toward Bezalel [Bazak] Road to disrupt public order. The two respondents served as organizers of the disturbance," Harari said, arguing the pair systematically encourage "grave public disorder" as activists.

Ciechanowski alleged that his arrest represents one of many attempts by police to "punish protesters" for demonstrating. "This is a problem, because it’s not within the judge’s purview. [When dealing with arrests], she’s not supposed to punish people," he said.

He claimed that there has been a "decline in democratic practices in this country, which manifests especially when it comes to demonstrations about the war."

By 7 p.m. Sunday, the five other protesters were released from Jerusalem’s Moriah cop shoppe, but police held on to Ciechanowski and Leor. They recounted being transferred to Harel station in Mevaseret Zion for part of the night, since there were no open cots for the pair to sleep in Jerusalem.

Police then brought them back to the capital in the morning. Ciechanowski was kept in police custody, while Leor was transferred to the Israel Prison Service and held in a cell in the Russian Compound ahead of their court hearing.

"The hardest part for me about being detained is this feeling that they see you as a bad person, a criminal who has done something bad," said Leor, a Hebrew University student.

He said that he demonstrates for "reasons he believes to be just and important, for the good of the country."

Of the arrested protesters in Sunday’s demonstrations, 26 were in Tel Aviv, seven were in Jerusalem, and one was in Ness Ziona. Several others were detained by police but released on the spot, amounting to a total of 38 detained demonstrators.

60K reservists set to receive call-up orders in coming days ahead of Gaza City takeover
[IsraelTimes] Reserve troops will be given at least two weeks before having to report to duty, with only some expected to take part in op; Katz meets top defense officials to approve IDF’s plans

Some 60,000 Israeli reservists are set to receive call-up orders that the IDF will issue starting Wednesday for the planned offensive in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. City, provided Defense Minister Israel Katz approves the move, according to security sources.

The orders are not immediate, and the reservists will be given at least two weeks before needing to report for duty.

The number of reservists being called up is in addition to tens of thousands of reservists who are currently serving in the reserves.

Not all of the reservists being called up are expected to participate in the operation to capture Gaza City, as some will instead be replacing standing army troops on other fronts.

The orders are due to go out after Katz’s office said he met Tuesday with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, other senior officers, and Shin Bet representatives to approve the military’s plans for the capture of Gaza City.

According to Israeli officials, the IDF’s plans to capture Gaza City involve first the establishment of humanitarian infrastructure in southern Gaza, including allowing tents and shelter equipment into the Strip in recent days.

The IDF will then issue evacuation warnings for the estimated one million Paleostinians residing in Gaza City. Israeli officials have said that Paleostinians will have until October 7, 2025, to evacuate Gaza City, which coincides with the second anniversary of Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
’s attack on Israel.

Afterward, the IDF will then launch its ground offensive into Gaza City, including by placing a siege on the area to kill any remaining Hamas operatives.

The meeting and the presentation of the army’s plans to Katz come despite Hamas saying Monday that it had agreed to a truce proposal. Should a hostage-ceasefire deal be reached, the plans to capture Gaza City are likely to be called off.

Though Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has appeared to dismiss Hamas’s acceptance of the offer, after shifting from insisting on a phased-hostage release and ceasefire deal to the release of all the captives at one go, sources said Tuesday that Jerusalem is reviewing the proposal.
”Hey Ari, has Hamas agree to leave after giving us all our hostages?”
“No, Mr. Prime Minister, they want 60 days to give us ten living and some dead, plus they get a bunch of their own people. The American envoy says it’s the best deal he can get us.”
“Tell Hamas to go to Hell, Ari, and tee up for Gaza City. We’ll get the hostages ourselves.”

Syria’s HTS gov’t issues rare confirmation of talks with Israel as US pushes to stabilize ties
[IsraelTimes] No comment from Israel on Paris talks between PM’s top aide Dermer, Syrian FM; US official says Trump administration backs ‘any efforts that will bring lasting stability and peace’

Syria’s foreign minister held a rare meeting with an Israeli delegation in Gay Paree on Tuesday, the Syrian state-run news agency
...and if you can't trust the state-run news agency who can you believe?...
reported. The talks were brokered by the United States, which has been pushing for Syria and Israel to normalize relations, the report said.

The SANA news agency said Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met with Israeli officials to discuss deescalating tensions and restoring a 1974 ceasefire agreement. The talks resulted in "understandings that support stability in the region," according the agency.

"These talks are taking place under US mediation, as part of diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in Syria and preserving the unity and integrity of its territory," it added.

There was no immediate comment from Israel on Tuesday’s talks, which Hebrew media outlets earlier reported would be attended by Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, who is a top aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and US envoy to Syria Tom Barrack.

Dermer and al-Shaibani previously met in Azerbaijan late last month, and held another meeting in Gay Paree the week before that.

"The United States continues to support any efforts that will bring lasting stability and peace between Israel and its neighbors," a senior Trump administration official, who was not authorized to comment publicly, told the News Agency that Dare Not be Named after Tuesday’s meeting.

The official noted US President Donald Trump
...So far he's been unkillable, and they've tried....
’s outlined "vision of a prosperous Middle East" that includes a "stable Syria at peace with itself and its neighbors — including Israel," adding that "we want to do everything we can to help achieve that."

Tensions have soared between Jerusalem and Damascus following the overthrow of Syrian president Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Despoiler of Deraa...
in December. Israeli forces seized control of a UN-patrolled buffer zone in Syria shortly after the Assad regime’s overthrow and carried out Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s on military sites in what officials said was aimed at creating a demilitarized zone south of Damascus.

Israel has said it will not allow hostile forces to establish themselves along the frontier, as Iranian-backed groups did during Assad’s rule. It distrusts Syria’s new government, which is led by former jihadists.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa, a former al-Qaeda commander, has pledged to build a new country that respects the rights of minorities, but sectarian violence has erupted on a number of occasions, raising concerns about the country’s fragile transition.

Israel stepped up its intervention when violence erupted like lava from a volcano in Syria’s southern Sweida province last month between Bedouin clans and government forces on one side and gangs from the Druze religious minority on the other.

The conflict then prompted airstrikes against Syrian forces by Israel in defense of the Druze before a truce — mediated by the US, The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
and Arab countries — halted most of the fighting.

Israel said it was acting to protect the Druze, who are seen as a loyal minority in Israel and serve in the military. Israel launched dozens of airstrikes on convoys of Syrian forces around Sweida and struck the headquarters of the Syrian Ministry of Defense in the heart of Damascus, Syria’s capital.

Though the fighting has largely calmed down, Syrian government forces have surrounded the city of Sweida, named after the province, and the Druze have said that little aid is getting in, describing the situation as a siege.

Barrack, the US envoy brokering the Israel-Syria talks, met Tuesday in Gay Paree with Israeli Druze leader Sheikh Muafak Tarif. In a statement on the "excellent" meeting, Tarif said the Druze want American assistance with an end to the blockade and humanitarian aid for the people there, the return of the Druze who were kidnapped during the fighting, as well as American assurances of Druze security.

Barrack wrote on X that his "warm and informative meeting" with Tarif addressed the situation in Sweida and "how to bring together the interests of all parties, deescalate tensions, and build understanding."

While the Druze in Syria have historically been wary of Israel, an increasing number are now open to seeking Israeli assistance. Hundreds demonstrated in Sweida on Saturday to demand the right to self determination for the Druze minority, with some protesters waving Israeli flags.

Videos and photos of the demonstration circulating on social media sparked outrage from many other Syrians, who accused the protesters of being traitors.

Israel and Syria have technically been at war since 1948. Israel conquered around two-thirds of the Golan Heights from Syria during the Six Day War of June 1967, and annexed the territory in 1981, in a move not recognized by much of the international community, with the exception of the United States.

A year after the Yom Kippur War of October 1973, Israel and Syria reached an agreement on the disengagement line that Damascus is now pushing to restore.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said in June that while Israel had an "interest" in normalizing ties with Syria and neighboring Leb
...The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. Only one of those statements is an exaggeration....
, the Golan Heights "will remain part of the State of Israel" under any future peace agreement, which the Syrian government has said is premature to discuss.
