Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:
[ColonelCassad] Trading stage. Ukraine and the EU again demand a "seat at the negotiating table", "security guarantees with the option of Ukraine joining NATO", "mutual withdrawal of troops" from some territories in case of "territory exchange", etc. It is obvious that Russia will not notice any of this. But it is noteworthy that now the issue of "territory exchange" is openly discussed by the EU and Ukraine, although before it was forbidden.
The topic of the exchange of territories has already openly surfaced on the mainstream agenda. The stage of bidding has come. This offer is bullshit and will not be accepted. Try better.
In the coming days, there will be other proposals aimed at targeting Trump and correcting some behind-the-scenes Russian-American agreements. Cries about "a place at the negotiating table" stem from the fact that the current Russian-American agreements completely ignore the hotels of Ukraine and Europe.
[ZDFheute] According to AfD leader Tino Chrupalla,
…from the former East Germany, construction company owner, married father of three, co-chair of the party and leader of the pro-Moscow/anti-Israel wing of the party…
crimes are committed in Gaza. In the ZDF summer interview, Chrupalla says:
“In many things we are seeing in Gaza right now, in terms of the care of civilians, in terms of starving children, in terms of killing children, one has to talk about crimes taking place there."
These crimes should also be "atoned for," according to Chrupalla. In terms of content, he supports the course of Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) with regard to the imposed partial arms ban on Israel.
“Our position, for example with regard to arms deliveries to crisis and war areas, is clear: we have always rejected them from the beginning, also in the election program, and we stand by it."
CHRUPALLA FOR "PRESSURE ON ISRAEL"
When asked whether Israel adheres to international law, Chrupalla says: "It is not the task of politicians to evaluate this." This would have to be done by those who are responsible for it, such as courts or the UN.
Israel remains for the AfD "a partner and also a friendly country." However, it must still be possible to criticize friends "if they are politically wrong". That's what friendship is.
No injustice justifies further injustice. "And injustice happens," Chrupalla said. Pressure must be put on Israel.
DOES UKRAINE HAVE TO CEDE TERRITORIES?
Shortly before the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chrupalla criticizes Chancellor Merz. He would have expected Merz to contact Putin. Foreign policy is currently being done by Trump, not by Merz.
[IsraelTimes] PM denies seeking to prolong war, says ‘civilian administration’ to govern Gaza, details why 3 most ‘celebrated’ cases of ostensible Israeli-imposed starvation are ‘all fake’
“The only ones being starved in Gaza are the Israeli hostages.”

Benjamin Netanyahu said his plan to expand military action in Gaza is “the best way to end the war”.
The Israeli prime minister told a press conference in Jerusalem that he has “no choice” but to “finish the job” and “defeat” Hamas.
While up to three quarters of the territory is currently under Israeli control, Hamas still has strongholds, including Gaza City.
“Dismantling” that stronghold is “the best way to end the war,” Mr Netanyahu said.
Gazans are “begging us and begging the world” to be freed from the terror group and Israel’s goal is not to occupy Gaza, but to free it, he added.
He went on to outline Israel’s five principles for concluding the war, which include freeing the hostages, demilitarising Gaza, putting security control of the strip into Israeli hands and establishing a non-Israeli peaceful civil administration, as well as dismantling Hamas.
Mr Netanyahu also said that if Israel was implementing “a starvation policy”, then “no one in Gaza would have survived after two years of war” as he stood in front of pictures reportedly showing malnourished children in the enclave, which he labelled “fake”.

Gazan's starving? Even their most carefully staged photos bear no resemblance to the German concentration camps. More like the check-out line at WalMart.
An important read from Prof. Netta Barak-Corren in the WSJ.
It isn't just Gaza.
"In every conflict I have studied—Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Ethiopia and Gaza—the same aid trucks double as cash machines for warlords, militias and authoritarian regimes." pic.twitter.com/vhvXDk7ZHR
