'We broke into IDF, hold quarter of a million documents,' hacker group Anonymous claims
[Jpost] Pro-Palestinian hackers allege that after penetrating the Justice Ministry, they now possess 20 gigabytes of data, including nearly a quarter-million documents related to the Israeli military.

The hacker organization Anonymous issued a statement on Friday stating that it has hacked into the IDF and will reportedly showcase purported military documents. It also claims control over 20 gigabytes of data, encompassing over 233,000 documents, including PDFs, Word files, PowerPoint presentations, and more.

The hackers' accompanying video displays excerpts from PowerPoint presentations featuring IDF personnel, with slides bearing logos of General Staff departments. The authenticity of the documents in the video remains uncertain.

According to IDF security assessments, the likelihood of an actual breach is minimal, suggesting a possible "psychological warfare" tactic by the hackers. The IDF's computer system is tightly secured and classified at various levels. If a breach did occur, it's improbable that access extended directly to IDF computers; instead, files may have been obtained from civilian computers, potentially breaching regulations.

CLAIMING TO HACK THE JUSTICE MINISTRY
Earlier this month, an anonymous source claimed to have hacked the Justice Ministry, acquiring 8 million files totaling 300 gigabytes, including personal details of listed individuals. Some of the hackers, operating under the Anonymous banner since 2003, reiterated their vow to "destroy the Zionists."

At the start of the month, the national cyber array warned of an anticipated uptick in attacks following the end of Ramadan and escalating incitement against Israel and its online presence. Concerns include potential website breaches, digital system infiltrations (including smart homes), leaks of classified documents, exposure of personal data, deployment of tracking software, and intrusion attempts.

The Israeli public was urged to avoid clicking on suspicious links and to report any indications of cyberattacks.

Either way, we can be sure these Political Dark Hats will only release a few docs and files that might be seen as casting a negative view on the IDF. While sequestering the 99.#% that show its merits and heroic activities against a bloodthirsty, genocidal, hell-bent group of terrorists.

Amid unrest at Columbia University, campus rabbi urges Jewish students to stay away until it's safe to return
[IsraelTimes] Following days of unrest and anti-Israel action at Columbia University in New York City, the university’s orthodox rabbi sent a message to Jewish students urging them to stay away from campus until it is deemed safe again, CNN reports.

In a message seen by CNN, the rabbi condemned the "terrible and tragic" events of the last few days.

Recent events "have made it clear that Columbia University’s Public Safety and the NYPD cannot guarantee Jewish students’ safety in the face of extreme antisemitism and anarchy," the rabbi wrote.

"It deeply pains me to say that I would strongly recommend you return home as soon as possible and remain home until the reality in and around campus has dramatically improved," the message continued. "It is not our job as Jews to ensure our own safety on campus. No one should have to endure this level of hatred, let alone at school."

The current unrest at Columbia began when the university asked the police to dismantle a "Gaza solidarity encampment" set up by students on the grounds of the university.

More than 100 people were arrested as the encampment was dismantled, and anti-Israel protests have been ongoing since then.

[IsraelTimes] The Hillel center
…in theory non-denominational, but in this situation they cater to the more liberal of the university’s Jews…
for Jewish life at Columbia University rejects a call from the rabbi serving Orthodox students for Jewish students to stay away from campus due to a recent surge in anti-Israel activity.

Columbia Hillel says in a statement that it does not believe Jewish students should leave the campus and that it would remain open to serve the community.

At the same time, the Hillel makes clear that it expects the university and New York City to do more to protect Jewish students.
Because they’ve done such a fine job thus far?
“We call on the university administration to act immediately in restoring calm to campus. The city must ensure that students can walk up and down Broadway and Amsterdam without fear of harassment,” Columbia Hillel says.

… In south Florida, Jews wear the dinner plate Magen Davids and no one says one word. In rural Michigan, churches put "pray for Israel" on the signs outside. I'm not naive, obviously Jew-haters can and do live anywhere. But they're only thriving, open, proud, in blue areas and I'm not going to let people ignore that. A lot of liberal Jews are trying to parse things right now. They imagine they are still of the left but just on this one tiny little thing, their right to exist, they disagree. No, my friends. It's a house of cards and you're pulling the one from the very bottom. The whole left ideology is corrupt and you're going to have to face it. You can't spread the blame around. The hatred, the rage, the violence, the dehumanization is all coming from one side: yours.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
IDF: 84% of damaged vehicles go back to war
[Jpost] Hamas has always had a cost advantage arms race versus Israel with its rockets being much cheaper than Iron Dome interceptors.

But Arrow interceptors, such as were used in large numbers to shoot down around 120 ballistic missiles fired by Tehran, are off-the-scale more expensive compared even to Iron Dome interceptors, being that they launch into Earth’s atmosphere against a far more advanced “foe.”

The IDF also said it continues to carry out nightly constant resupply missions to forces within Gaza and is taking care of soldiers who are “stuck” there during the Passover holiday season.

This can even include providing vegetarian meals and other specific needs.

In terms of actual activity, the IDF sent out no updates on attacks against Hamas in Gaza on Sunday.

IDF CHIEF OF STAFF APPROVES NEW GAZA BATTLE PLANS
Despite that, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi approved new battle plans for Gaza on Sunday, though it was unclear if this was more standard plans or a larger move against Rafah.

Next, the IDF said Sunday that it was unaware that reports about potential US sanctions against its Netzah Yehuda Battalion were final.

“If a decision is made on the matter, it will be reviewed,” the IDF said, in its first remarks on the issue. The battalion has been involved in around half a dozen major controversial and violent incidents against Palestinians in the West Bank in recent years.

The military stated that the battalion is “participating in the war in the Gaza Strip, with courage and professionalism, while following the values and spirit of the IDF and the principles of international law.

“In recent years, the battalion’s troops have been at the center of operational activities around the clock, to protect the security of the citizens of the State of Israel, alongside being a leading battalion in the integration of ultra-Orthodox troops in the IDF,” said the IDF.

Regarding the controversial incidents, the army said, "The IDF is working and will continue to work to investigate every exceptional event substantively and in accordance with the law.”

Palestinian Ruling Party Admits: Hamas Steals Aid, Kills Aid Workers in Gaza
[Breitbart] Fatah, the “moderate” ruling party of the Palestinian Authority, has admitted on live television that Hamas steals humanitarian aid and kills aid workers in the Gaza Strip.

The admission, captured by Palestinian Media Watch, confirms what Israel has been saying all along — and goes further, stating that Hamas is not only responsible for endangering aid workers by hiding among them, but also asserts that Hamas has been killing aid workers directly.

Palestinian Media Watch reported (original emphasis):

In an incredible and rare admission, Fatah has corroborated what Israel has been saying all along: that Hamas is responsible for turmoil connected to distribution of the humanitarian aid sent into Gaza. A Fatah TV anchor reported that throughout the war, Hamas has been committing what is essentially a triple crime—it has attacked and killed aid workers in order to control aid distribution, stolen the food and water for itself, and caused food prices to skyrocket.

Fatah-run Awdah TV host: “Hamas’ persecution of any party who is a source for distributing the [humanitarian] aid or securing it began from the start of the war (i.e., 2023 Gaza war), as Hamas persecuted well-known figures and teams of volunteers on the ground in mid-October [2023]. It attacked them and killed some of them for two reasons: Firstly, preventing any activity by any [other] party in the Gaza Strip; and secondly, ensuring Hamas control over the aid and its storage, which of course leads to these crazy and unreal prices that no one can pay in the shadow of this destruction. After the occupation (i.e., Israel) bombed storehouses controlled by Hamas, the accumulation of tons of various food and aid products that Hamas had taken exclusivity over became clear, at a time when the Gaza Strip is suffering from hunger.”

This is a damning indictment by Fatah, exposing Hamas’ heinous actions against humanitarian aid workers and Palestinian civilians in need of food. World powers were quick to decry Israel for an inadvertent tragedy that killed several World Central Kitchen personnel. These same authorities and media outlets must now condemn Hamas with equal vigor for its intentional murder of aid workers. A failure to condemn Hamas for intentional murder by the countries and frameworks who condemned Israel for accidental killing would expose once again a glaring double standard by international bodies, and especially the media, that unfortunately has accompanied this entire war.

The Biden administration has blamed Israel for the death of aid workers, with President Joe Biden claiming this month that “Israel has not done enough to protect aid workers trying to deliver desperately needed help to civilians.”

Israel military intelligence chief quits over 7 October
[BBC] The Israeli military's intelligence chief has resigned, saying he took responsibility for the failures before Hamas's attack on Israel on 7 October.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Major General Aharon Haliva would retire once his successor was selected.

He acknowledged in a letter that his intelligence directorate "did not live up to the task we were entrusted with".

He is the first senior figure to step down over the attack, which was the deadliest in Israel's history.

Israeli military and intelligence officials missed or ignored multiple warnings before hundreds of Hamas gunmen breached the Gaza border fence that day and attacked nearby Israeli communities, military bases and a music festival.

Arab MK petitions court to let him visit Fatah leader and terror convict Barghouti
[IsraelTimes] Ahmad Tibi demands injunction against Ben Gvir for gutting policy that let MKs exercise ’oversight’ regarding Paleostinian security prisoners’ conditions

Veteran Arab politician Ahmad Tibi on Sunday petitioned the Supreme Court
...the political football known as The Highest Court in the Land, home of penumbrae and emanations...
to allow him to meet with Paleostinian security prisoners, saying National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s blanket refusal to allow such meetings is discriminatory and contravenes the principle of legislative oversight. MK Tibi, represented by legal non-profit Adalah, specifically demanded a meeting with top Fatah figure Marwan Barghouti, a highly popular Paleostinian leader and former head of Fatah’s Tanzim terrorist faction, who, in 2002, was sentenced to five life sentences for his part in planning three terror attacks that killed five Israelis during the Second Intifada.

According to Tibi, a policy put in place by the last Knesset allowing such meetings had been nullified by Ben Gvir at the beginning of the current one, even as members of the minister’s own Death Eater Otzma Yehudit party have been allowed to visit Jewish terror convicts.

After Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",’s shock October 7 assault, when thousands of murderous Moslems stormed southern Israel to kill nearly 1,200 people and take over 250 hostages, Ben Gvir announced a worsening in the conditions of Paleostinian prisoners, whom the Red Thingy has not visited since October 25, according to Tibi’s petition.

"For half a year now, there has been no effective external oversight on the jailing conditions, and MK Tibi’s visit is especially important in these circumstances," read an Adalah blurb announcing the High Court petition.

"We are dealing with a case where the overseen party is preventing the overseer from overseeing him," read the petition, which, in addition to Ben Gvir, named as respondents the Knesset, the attorney general, and the acting Israel Prison Service chief.

The petition also noted that a recent request by Tibi to meet terror convict Walid Daqqa was ignored by Ben Gvir until after the inmate’s death, when the politician was told his request had been rendered "irrelevant."

It was urgent to meet Barghouti, the petition said, because of recent "reports regarding his harsh jailing conditions, including long stints of solitary confinement." Barghouti, who has himself petitioned the High Court over his conditions, was said to have told his family he was repeatedly beaten by prison guards — including to the point of losing consciousness. Barghouti’s lawyer had seen signs of violence on his client’s face, back, and legs, according to Tibi’s petition.

Barghouti, one of the prisoners whose release has reportedly been demanded by Hamas in exchange for the Israeli hostages, is widely considered a leading rival of Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....
. Although both belong to the secular Fatah party, Barghouti launched a slate of candidates separate from Abbas’s during the 2021 Paleostinian Authority elections, which the president ultimately canceled.

Gershon Baskin, a former negotiator for Israel with Hamas, has called for the release of Barghouti as a solution for Israel’s "day after" concerns about Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
’s governance when the war sparked by Hamas’s assault is over. According to Baskin, if Barghouti were to assume leadership of the Paleostinians, he could provide Israel with an alternative to a full occupation of Gaza and the empowerment of a local Paleostinian administration that would inevitably be branded as traitorous by its peers.

Sister of Hamas chief indicted for praising Oct. 7 attack, ties to terror group
[IsraelTimes] Sabah al-Salem Haniyeh, one of three Israeli sisters of the exiled Hamas politburo chief, faces nearly 20 years in prison

A sister of Hamas
...a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
leader Ismail Haniyeh
...became Prime Minister of Gaza after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank...
was indicted in an Israeli court Sunday for supporting the terror group and cheering on its October 7 attack on southern Israel.

Sabah al-Salem Haniyeh,
…previously in our archives as Sabah Avad al-Salam Haniyeh…
57, was charged in Beersheba’s Magistrate’s Court with identifying with a proscribed terrorist organization and incitement to terrorism, three weeks after she was arrested during a raid on the Israeli town of Tel Sheva, where she lives.

Haniyeh stands accused of having sent two WhatsApp messages to dozens of her contacts, including Haniyeh himself, "praising, encouraging and supporting" Hamas’s actions on October 7 when it slaughtered some 1,200 Israelis and perpetrated mass atrocities in southern Israel.

Three messages sent to WhatsApp groups on October 9 and October 10 asked members to pass around a prayer that would help "destroy the enemy." The messages included a prayer beseeching God to " count them in number and kill them and do not leave any one of them."

Haniyeh was hit with three counts of incitement to terrorism, which carries a five-year prison sentence, and two counts of identifying with a terrorist organization, which carries with it a three-year prison sentence were she to be convicted.

The State Attorney’s Office requested that the court order Haniyeh to be held in detention until the end of the legal proceedings against her.

Haniyeh, the Hamas political leader, lives in exile in Doha, Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
. His three sisters live in Tel Sheva and were married to Arab Israelis.
Safe in the enemy stronghold.
Two are now widowed and have fallen foul of Israeli authorities in the past by making illegal trips into Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. in 2013 via Egypt. They were both given eight-month suspended sentences for the visits in 2015.

Later that year, Israel denied Haniyeh’s request that his sisters be permitted to attend his son’s wedding in Gaza.

The three sisters all have Israeli citizenship and according to a 2006 report from the UK’s Daily Telegraph newspaper, some of their children have served in the Israeli Defense Forces.
Spying out enemy methods and resources or rebelling against the ideal of their parents?
Police arrested Sabah al-Salem Haniyeh on April 1 in a joint raid with the Shin Bet that was dubbed "Early Dawn."

Police said that during a raid on the suspect’s home officers found documents, media, telephones and other evidence linking her to "serious security offenses."

Police also said they found hundreds of thousands of shekels in cash at the premises.
That’s one way to finance Israel’s security operations.
Southern District commander Superintendent Amir Cohen vowed at the time that his forces "will use all the means and tools at its disposal, everywhere, in order to create deterrence at the same time as thwarting terrorist attacks, with the aim of ensuring the safety and security of the citizens of Israel," according to the police’s statement.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Entire IRGC command wing in Syria was eliminated in strike, Bloomberg reveals
[Jpost] The Bloomberg television network revealed overnight into Saturday that in the attack attributed to Israel at the Iranian consulate in Syria, the entire command hierarchy responsible for the activities of the Revolutionary Guards in Syria and Lebanon was killed. According to the report, "the senior officers were pivotal for Hezbollah's activities in the region."

According to the reports, General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and his deputy, Mohammad Hadi Rahimi, along with other officers who were killed, were certain that the consulate building next to the embassy was "the safest" in Damascus and that Israel would not dare to attack the site.

Before the airstrike on the consulate building in Damascus, the residences of the ambassador and the consul were supposed to be transferred to a new apartment complex further down the same street, where the two brothers of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad also live. Shortly before the attack, the senior ranking officials of the IRGC in Syria met on the second floor of the consulate building and decided to stay there.

IRAN INVESTIGATES THE SYRIA ATTACK
The strike at the Iranian consulate in Syria led Iran, for the first time, to respond directly and attack Israel. Immediately after the assassination, Iran began suspecting that groups in Syria were involved in several assassination cases of IRGC personnel in the country over the past few years.
Groups? Possibly even factions? The Black Hand of this modern age, conniving everywhere in secret to destroy the upright and pious…. no, I’m sorry, I simply can’t go on …
Iran’s suspicion focuses on 18 commanders who were assassinated over a short time in attacks that were attributed to Israel. This is according to a Syrian defector who opposed the Assad regime, who claims to have spoken with an Iranian official.

According to the Syrian defector, after the assassination of Raza Musawi
…also spelt Sayyed Reza Mousavi and Sayyed Razi Mousavi
in Syria in December 2023, a joint investigation between the two countries began, attempting to trace a possible security breach. However, at a certain point, Iran chose to conduct an independent investigation with Hezbollah, following concerns that the Syrian intelligence was interfering with the investigation.

The independent investigation concluded that the security breaches that led to the assassination were under high-level political and security cover, and it was unlikely that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was unaware of them.

The defector further added that what heightened suspicions in Tehran was that the Hezbollah operatives who were assassinated in the country were linked to Syrian security services. Their assassination was possible through espionage, using advanced technology.

Assad says Syria has held ‘meetings' with US on possibly mending ties with West
[IsraelTimes] US-sanctioned president says meetings don’t amount to much but he continues with them because ’there is always hope’ relations can be fixed

US-sanctioned President Bashar al-Assad said in an interview published on Sunday that Syria has held meetings "from time to time" with Washington, as it seeks openings after over a decade of isolation.

The United States was among the first to cut ties with Assad over the repression of anti-government protests that sparked war in 2011 that has since killed more than half a million people, displaced millions more, and battered Syria’s infrastructure and industry. Many Western and Arab states also severed relations with Syria because of the war.

However, last year Syria returned to the Arab fold, seeking better ties with wealthy US-allied Gulf states, in the hope they can help fund reconstruction — although Western sanctions are likely to deter investment.

"America is currently illegally occupying part of our lands... but we meet with them from time to time, although these meetings do not lead to anything," Assad said in an interview with a Russian-backed official from Georgia’s breakaway region of Abkhazia, published by Syria’s official Sana news agency.

Assad did not give further details about who was involved in the meetings, or what was discussed.

"There is always hope: even when we know there will be no results we must try," he said, when asked about the possibility of mending ties with the West.

Assad also attempted to mend ties with other countries not aligned with the West, having most recently making an official visit to China for the first time in almost two decades.

China became one of only a handful of countries outside the Middle East that Assad has visited since the civil war began, and was the latest in a string of leaders ostracized by the West to be courted by Beijing. Beijing has long provided Damascus with diplomatic support, particularly at the UN Security Council where it is a permanent member.

After war broke out, the United States imposed a slew of sanctions on Syria — which had already been a pariah state in the West under Assad’s father Hafez.

In 2020, a US law known as the Caesar Act came into force that punishes any companies that work with Assad.

The Caesar Act, accompanied by a slew of US sanctions on Syrians close to Assad, aimed to force accountability for human rights abuses and to encourage a political solution.

Washington is also at odds with Damascus over US backing for northeast Syria’s semi-autonomous Kurdish authorities, which have spearheaded the fight against the Islamic State group with support from a US-led international coalition.

Damascus accuses Kurdish authorities, which control most of the country’s major oilfields, of separatism. It accuses them of being traitors because of their close US ties.

In 2022, US President Joe Biden had accused Syria of holding American journalist Austin Tice, abducted more than a decade ago in Damascus, and called on Syria’s government to help secure his release.

The Syrian foreign ministry denied holding Americans, including Tice.

Tice was a freelance photojournalist working for AFP, McClatchy News, The Washington Post, CBS and other news organizations, when he was detained at a checkpoint near Damascus on August 14, 2012.

Iran morality police redouble crackdown on women amid tensions with Israel
[IsraelTimes] Videos shared on social media purportedly show dreaded unit enforcing hijab rules deploying in force, sweeping women off the streets and into notorious vans

Executions of convicts, arrests of dissidents and a resurgence in patrols enforcing the obligatory wearing of hijabs:
Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
