[The Federalist] The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s newly released hate crime statistics show that Jews, who make up approximately 1.8 percent of the U.S. population, were overwhelmingly the most targeted in anti-religious hate crimes in 2019.
The FBI’s report says 60.2 percent of the 1,715 victims of anti-religious hate crimes in 2019 were targeted based on the offenders’ anti-Jewish bias. This percentage is up from 56.9 percent of victims motivated by offenders’ anti-Jewish bias. The next most frequently targeted group in the anti-religious category are Muslims, at about 13.2 percent of the hate crimes recorded in 2019.
While racial/ethnic/ancestral hate crimes have dropped slightly since 2018, anti-religious hate crimes were up from 18.7 percent in 2018 to 20.1 percent in 2019. In total, the FBI recorded 8,812 victims of hate crimes in the United States in 2019.
Earlier in the year, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio came under fire for comments singling out Jewish communities for gathering despite COVID-19 lockdown orders.
"My message to the Jewish community, and all communities, is this simple: the time for warnings has passed," he wrote. "I have instructed the NYPD to proceed immediately to summons or even arrest those who gather in large groups. This is about stopping this disease and saving lives. Period."

It's always helpful when you have established organisations like the Anti Defamation League that know who to call and how to fill out the paperwork. Keep's 'em busy and all.

[Jpost] Ammonium nitrate has been used by Hezbollah and was also the cause of the Beirut blast this summer.
Argentina ...a country located on the other side of the Deep South. It is covered with Pampers and inhabited by Grouchos, who dance the Tangle. They used to have some islands called the Malvinas located where the Falklands are now. They're not supposed to cry for Evita... said over the weekend that it had increased security on its border with Paraguay due to an "anonymous tip" to authorities that was passed on via its embassy in the United Kingdom. There was a possibility of "bomb-making materials entering across Argentina’s northern border," the report by Rooters noted.

[American Thinker] Today, Democrats stepped up their effort to convince Americans that they have a moral obligation to pay off the loans for college grads who incurred massive student loan debts for useless majors that left them unemployed or underemployed. This is one more reason why Trump voters cannot give up on giving Trump all the support they can in his fight to expose the massive election fraud that stole his victory two weeks ago.
The new plan is for Joe Biden, via executive order, to immediately cancel up to $50,000 per person in outstanding student loan debt. Forcing responsible Americans to pay off the crippling debts that college students freely incurred in the pursuit of useless degrees is not a new idea.
When Elizabeth Warren was still a primary contender, she blatantly sneered at a man who was outraged that, despite his having worked hard to pay for his daughter’s college education, she now expected him to subsidize the education of others who didn’t make intelligent plans, whether they overspent on college or got a major that left them earning a pittance:

I might be fine with this if (and only if) the colleges were put on the hook for all of it. Since that's not gonna happen and if this turd of a proposal ever makes it into law, I'll be the first in line to sign up for the inevitable class action lawsuit of previous college grads who had student loans and paid them all off who are not being granted similar equitable relief.

And don't forget us parents who scrimped and saved to put our children through college so that they would not graduate with large amounts of debt.

Yet another example of realignment. Trump was remaking the GOP into the party of the American non-credentialed small business owners, tradesmen and other working middle classes who aren't connected to either Big Tech or its sister, Big Government.
Trump's enemies don't give a fook about working class families. Democrats are now the party of the politically-correct wealthy and far-left minority grievance-mongers. The grievance is all about the grift.

Think it was a mistake for DeVos not to honor Obama's forgiveness program. Yes, it was a bad program, but people made life decisions based on a promise that was not kept. Can't help being a little resentful.

I thought the Constitution forbade the feds from interfering with private contracts. But the FDR got away with that in the 1930s, and the USSC approved.

The most recent Pelosi (House) Covid relief bill had a $10k per person debt forgiveness in it. This says that Congress admits it is their job to expend funds this way.
Given this, it is probably a 90% certainty that a $50k debt forgiveness via exec order is unconstitutional.
Of course all the extreme lefties are jumping up and down about this so it will likely produce a nice fight when and if Joe becomes 46.

[Buffalo Chronicle] The innermost circles of the American mafia are abuzz. The Boss of the Philly mob — ‘Skinny Joey’ Merlino — is taking a victory strut, hobnobbing around the highest echelons of old-time mafia folk, mostly in Florida, describing what may have been the heist of the century: the 2020 presidential election.
The feat is drawing praise from far-flung corners of the Italian American business community, which sees the thanks of a grateful administration as key to the revival of the community’s political influence.
But an associate says that Merlino might just be willing to flip on Joe Biden and the Pennsylvania political operatives who ordered up some 300,000 election ballots marked for Biden. The source alleges that Merlino and a lean team of associates manufactured those ballots at a rate of $10 per ballot — a whopping $3 million for three days of work. They were then packaged into non-descript cardboard boxes and dropped off outside the Philadelphia Convention Center.
Sources who spoke to The Chronicle on the condition of anonymity say that Merlino picked up those ballots from two private households where a trusted handful of associates were busily marking ballots with Sharpie markers. They were paid more than $1,000 per hour, often producing thousands of ballots every hour for more than 60 nearly-consecutive hours.

Not just the Philly mob. Look at the South Philly Judge of Elections who was caught convicted and sentenced for taking bribes from multiple Democrat candidates to literally stuff ballot boxes a couple years back. Sentenced in May 2920: Domenick Demuro

[RedState] On September 12, 2019, President Trump signed Executive Order 13848 titled "Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election." Looking at the issue in retrospect at the time the EO was put into place, most would have focused attention on the Russians or Iranians in terms of who the EO might have been aimed at.
But now, given Joe Biden’s nomination as the Democrat candidate for President, the well-established history of business and financial connections between the Biden Family and the Communist Chinese Party, and the aggressive posture of the Trump Administration in responding to Chinese business and technology espionage, the focus of this EO is going to focus squarely on any Chinese efforts to influence — or corrupt — the recent Presidential election.
With that backdrop, let’s consider for a moment what EO 13484 requires over the course of the next 75 days...
Though if Donald Trump wins, this entire genre of op-eds can go into a file to await the next idiot the Democrats try to bluff into office. Key paragraphs:
[Townhall] Should that desiccated old weirdo eventually be inaugurated, he would stagger into office a shambling mess and his corrupt inauguration would set the stage for massive populist-conservative comeback in 2022 and 2024. We should ruthlessly exploit his weakness, corruption, and stupidity in our quest to ruin his followers’ hateful dreams.
If Biden squeaks through, he barely squeaks through — only a few fewer questionable ballots in hard Dem cities would throw it to him. Look at his coattails — it should be shroud-tails, because the Democrat brand was death down-ballot. We are going to come this close to stealing the house, and already the fake moderates are Nadlering themselves about 2022. And they are right to. What was expected to be a blue wave turned into a blue Toobin Zoom call.
We are likely to hold the Senate, assuming we get on the ball in Georgia. When that happens, the spongey mind of Grandpa Badfinger will be up against the steely malice of Cocaine Mitch. I like our odds. The Murder Turtle will stop the most insane insanity, and Biden will be relegated to attempting to rule by decree. Except we have the Supreme Court to stop that, as Justice Roberts is now superfluous.

Wrong. Most media and big companies with significant social presence are pro Biden, pro racism, pro violence(sorry "protests")
Unless conservatives start to make their own companies they will loose.
[JPost] - Israelis celebrated on Friday when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country had signed a deal with Pfizer Inc. to buy its novel coronavirus vaccine. But the fact remains that if Pfizer succeeds — or Moderna, with whom Israel also has a contract — these will be the first-ever messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines brought to market for human patients.
In order to receive Food and Drug Administration approval, the companies will have to prove there are no immediate or short-term negative health effects from taking the vaccines. But when the world begins inoculating itself with these completely new and revolutionary vaccines, it will know virtually nothing about their long-term effects.
"There is a race to get the public vaccinated, so we are willing to take more risks," Tal Brosh, head of the Infectious Disease Unit at Samson Assuta Ashdod Hospital, told The Jerusalem Post.
When Moderna was just finishing its Phase I trial, The Independent wrote about the vaccine and described it this way: "It uses a sequence of genetic RNA material produced in a lab that, when injected into your body, must invade your cells and hijack your cells’ protein-making machinery called ribosomes to produce the viral components that subsequently train your immune system to fight the virus."
"In this case, Moderna’s mRNA-1273 is programmed to make your cells produce the coronavirus’ infamous coronavirus spike protein that gives the virus its crown-like appearance (corona is crown in Latin) for which it is named," wrote The Independent.
Brosh said that this does not mean the vaccine changes people’s genetic code. Rather, he said it is more like a USB device (the mRNA) that is inserted into a computer (your body). It does not impact the hard drive of the computer but runs a certain program.
But he acknowledged that there are unique and unknown risks to messenger RNA vaccines, including local and systemic inflammatory responses that could lead to autoimmune conditions.
An article published by the National Center for Biotechnology Information, a division of the National Institutes of Health, said other risks include the bio-distribution and persistence of the induced immunogen expression; possible development of auto-reactive antibodies; and toxic effects of any non-native nucleotides and delivery system components. See wikipedia: Reverse transcriptase
Brosh compared the mRNA vaccine to traditional vaccines, such as those for influenza, which use an inactivated virus that was destroyed by heat or chemicals to elicit an immune response without infecting the recipient. Others, such as for measles or mumps, use a weakened virus that is unable to hurt you but can still train your immune system to fight it.
Oxford University’s AstraZeneca, the Russian’s Sputnik V and the Israel Institute for Biological Research’s Brilife are all based on more traditional technologies.
...BUT MICHAL LINIAL, a professor of biological chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, told the Post that she believes there is no cause for concern.
...But when asked if she would take the vaccine right away, she responded: "I won’t be taking it immediately — probably not for at least the coming year," she told the Post. "We have to wait and see whether it really works."

All vacines are nominally dangerous at some level. It's how they work.
Like all biological agents, they're intended to kill something. Hopefully the right thing.
I personally prefer to have lots of other people try this stuff out so we have a baseline on large, long term effect. Like, say, growing tentacles or some such.
You'll note that the researcher at the end has no inclination to take it for a year or so.

I'm over 78 and have no plans to take it. When the Hong Kong flu vaccine came available in 1968 I did not take that one either..it was developed in four months.

Given that Jake Tapper is now publicly giving credit to Trump for the vaccine, I think we can safely conclude that it will be found to be terrible, deadly, ineffective, etc. soon.
