Certainly you get more Virtue Points for fighting hate crimes, but seems to me that citizens getting sucker-punched and pushed in front of trains is reason enough to take action.

It should be assumed that Governor Dippity-Do is planning to run for President in 2024. With that in mind, one can only hope that Republicans are recording his response to this and other situations. They should be prepared to remind voters that none of this would have happened if the governor had been doing his job. Republican candidates in the next gubernatorial election would be wise to do the same.

There are so many un-hideable examples of what's wrong with California that the "Don't let this guy do that to the rest of America" commercials will be thick and fierce. If the GOPe has any sense (yeah, I know...)

No tail, but two heads: O and Biden.
So, Jen, what the hell are you ridin'?
"Quick, give it a whiff
Of your locks... and a spliff!"
"Uh, Joe?"
"Cornpop! Yo, where ya been hidin'?"

In March 2008, it was reported by The Times that [Mohammed Saeed] al-Sahhaf (AKA Baghdad Bob) was living in the United Arab Emirates.
So, he's available.

Maybe this is because I'm not a parent, but shouldn't a three year old kid be wiping his own bum by this point?
Everyone is different.
Ours were out of the trainers and in Big Kid Undies.
Not that we didn't have an Emergency Squeegee Bag handy at all times.
Wife daughter, wife was primary and I was auxiliary trainer, reversed for son, so what is Dad up to?
Any rate, I think what we are getting at here is a sane person would have broken by now, and even Jen is starting to show buckling. People don't make this mistake randomly; it is a person overworked mentally referencing a behind the scene conversation and/or circumstance. And For the Children is usually a safe go-to.
Wonder who they will get to lie with a straight face now.
There's her relief-pitcher, that tiny gal with the large head, totally untalented. Maybe they'll be like, nah no press updates until we find someone, and gosh dilly geez just can't find anyone better than Heyyyyy Jeeeennn! so it may be a while.

You could probably call her a sunshine patriot, all in for America as long as Trump is out. OTOH, she casts a large shadow. Not as big as Boxcar Abrams, but awful big for a woman.

This year, "olympic athletes" are being warned about their comms while in China, and the Chinese themselves have said that undesirable speech by participants will be dealt with harshly.
Remember when the media made a big deal about how many condoms were being handed out to the jocks and jockettes? Good times...

Intel Corp. said it plans to invest at least $20 billion in new chip-making capacity in Ohio, bolstering the company’s semiconductor-production ambitions as greater demand for digital products and a global chip shortage have amplified the need for more manufacturing.
Intel said Friday it would invest in two new chip factories just outside Columbus, Ohio, to add to Intel’s effort to expand its chip-making business. The company has made more than $100 billion in investment pledges over the past year. Intel Chief Executive Pat Gelsinger said the site could eventually grow to accommodate eight chip factories, also known as FABs, with spending potentially reaching around $100 billion over the next decade.
Intel will make some of its most cutting-edge processors at the new site, Mr. Gelsinger said in an interview. Planning for the first two factories will start immediately, with construction expected to begin late in 2022, he said, and production is expected to come online in 2025. The company also pledged $100 million toward partnerships with educational institutions to build a pipeline of talent and bolster research programs in the [Columbus OH] region.

The "elites" maybe don't get it at all. But a huge company like Intel probably would like to count on its capital investments being at least somewhat secure. It's a start.

True-ish story...
"K2 from Japan! Arigato!"
But what was that smell? Chinese natto,
From Walmart with love,
That I took with a glove,"
Cried the radioactive castrato.

I get her hating Trump for dissing her dad. Even though War Drums Johnny needed dissed. She traded on it outside the family loyalty angle. That's the problem.

Sinema has been censured by the Arizona democratic party. I wonder if lefties are getting as much satisfaction as they did from the Wyoming Republican party censuring Lizard Cheney.

#4 Ouch, that hurts. I agree with McCain on this. Biden admin. has sold out to the Chicoms. Bring manufacturing back home to USA. Glad to see Intel building new chip plants in Ohio. We need to get back to energy independence to support a healthy economy.

[Townhall] On Wednesday night, Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) stuck to her principles. Along with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and all 50 Republicans, she voted against changing Senate rules on the filibuster. She had previously spoken on the Senate floor in favor of keeping the filibuster. It's also a position she's been known to hold. It's nothing new from her, and yet there have still been new updates and reactions to Sinema supporting the filibuster. Namely, groups such as NARAL and EMILY's List have announced they are pulling support for the senator.
NARAL has tweeted about the right to vote, including a pinned tweet from Tuesday.

Once again, the GOPe allowed the left to frame the narrative. This is not about voting, it's about making voting pointless. And like good little uniparty shills, the GOPe did nothing to dispel that misrepresentation.

Notice with the Senator from AZ and WV, the term 'bi-partisan' suddenly disappeared?
#4
They did exactly what the senate was designed to do: prevent big states from steamrolling small states. But now, that's not "democracy." Well, no, it isn't. It's a well-designed representative republic working as it should.
It's the GOPe that has let the left frame the definition of "bipartisanship" to mean "give the left whatever it wants, always."

I listened to the Senator's speech in which she flatly declared she would vote against ending the filibuster. I applaud that and I know it took great courage. But in the same speech she said she supported the proposed legislation to enact the federal takeover of elections that could not pass with the filibuster. So I have mixed feelings about this. I guess I still think it would be better if Arizona sent a solid Republican to the Senate.

She definitely surprised me with this stance. It still can't be ruled out that there's mischief afoot. She's really no different than Tulsi Gabbard, being touted as the "sane democrat." She still wants to abolish the second Amendment, so there's essentially nothing she can bring to balance that out, AFAIAK. Same with Noem, riding the fence when she isn't riding her horse. Or Haley, who will assume any position within the organization to remain on board.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
