Ol' Spackleface is back
[Al-Rooters] Former Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner intends to run for the office again this year, two sources close to left-leaning politician told Reuters, the strongest indication yet that the populist leader will look to mount a challenge to incumbent Mauricio Macri.
Fernández, who has yet to formally announce herself as a candidate in the elections in October, would make boosting consumer purchasing power a focus, the sources said, a counter to Macri's austerity push that has dented his popularity.
The election run, if confirmed, would make Fernández the first and most high-profile challenger to Macri, who is expected to run for a second term but whose leadership has faced heavy criticism after rampant inflation last year and a falling economy hit voters hard.
A Macri versus Fernández battle would likely dominate the election process in what will be a major crossroads for Argentina's economic and political future: a choice between Macri's IMF-backed economic reforms or a return to Peronism.
Fernandez - who led the country from 2007 through 2015 and is now a senator - is Macri's arch political rival and is among his main critics from within the country's Peronist movement.

Hey ,she had the prosecutor who was going to accuse her of treason, vis a vis,Iran, murdered.
[Town Hall] Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has come under fire for anti-Semitic comments in the past. During an interview with on "The Daily Show," Omar explained how she never tried to be anti-Semitic but she understands how her comments could be deemed anti-Semitic. The most interesting aspect: Omar compares her being blind to her anti-Semitism to white people who don't understand they have "white privilege."
There are so many things wrong with this interaction.
1) If Omar was truly interested in learning how to change her ways and her thinking, she would come out and say, "I'm an anti-Semite but I don't want to be. Can you please help me?" She would be upfront and honest about it. She wouldn't be so wishy washy about where she stands. And she wouldn't make an excuse for why she thinks the way she does.

[Townhall] The Senate Intelligence Committee has obtained phone records showing that President Trump was not one of the blocked numbers his son Donald Trump Jr. called before and after the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting, CNN first reported and ABC News later confirmed.
The big picture: Trump Jr. made phone calls to two blocked numbers the same day he spoke with Russian pop star Emin Agalarov, who helped set up a meeting three days later with a Kremlin-linked lawyer claiming to have dirt on Hillary Clinton. He made another phone call to a private number several hours after the meeting. There has long been speculation that the calls were to his father, and that then-candidate Trump had advanced knowledge of the meeting ‐ an allegation he has denied.

I once had a patient whose life was saved by a manure spreader. He was driving 55 mph down a county highway, came over a rise in the road & on the other side was a fully loaded manure spreader slowly crossing the highway. He could neither stop in time nor avoid hitting the spreader at nearly full spreed, T-bone fashion.
Between his car's air bags and the tons of manure flying in a directions (dissipating his kinetic energy) he survived with minimal injury. Local rescue squad did have to wade through knee deep fresh manure to get to him.
[BREITBART] The Democratic-majority Colorado state Senate passed a bill this week that would give the state’s electoral votes in presidential elections to the candidate who wins the popular vote instead of the Electoral College.
Colorado’s Senate passed the bill in a 19-16 vote Tuesday along party lines. This will change the first time the political tables turn, which they will.
The bill would mandate that the state’s members of the Electoral College vote for the presidential candidate who wins the popular vote.
Under current state law, the state’s electoral college members cast their vote for the candidate who wins the election in Colorado.
The legislation, sponsored by state Sen. Mike Foote (D-Lafayette), would have allowed Colorado to join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact with 11 other states and the District of Columbia.
"This really isn’t a red versus blue idea. This is about making sure that the president of the United States is elected by the entire nation, not just a handful of ’battleground states’ that get to decide our presidential elections under the current system," Foote said of the bill in a statement. "All of Colorado’s voters should be heard, regardless of whether or not we are considered a battleground state."

Does that include ballots cast under electoral fraud?
What if the vote is about 50-50 and Colorado's vote could tip the balance either way? What if several states went this route and they were all waiting on each other?
#4
Then there is no need for states. They're just inconvenient, inefficient, and redundant administrative units to a federal system owned and dominated by 10 or so major metropolitan areas. We could probably consolidate it down to maybe two dozen regional districts.

...nah, just taking the logic to the next level given the socialist/Left lust for power and micro-management. The historically illiterate have no use for 'lessons learned' on the scale the founder did.
#9
IN other words, Colorado just gave its populace the middle finger and handed over their electoral representation to California and New York.
So Candidate A wins the aggregate vote, fraud and all, by 10,000, but Candidate B wins Colorado by 30,000. And you're giving the electoral votes to Candidate A, counter to what the people of Colorado wanted? I smell a lawsuit and a deleayed outcome.
Or Candidate A wins the aggregate vote, but absent these give-away laws, Candidate B wins the electoral vote by, say, 30, but with the shenanigans they lose by 2.

from the article: "If enough states sign onto the compact, it would change the outcome of presidential elections by awarding all electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote.
But the bill is not likely to become law unless the Colorado House approves and enough states agree to the compact."
So, is the Colorado House likely to approve?

Who determines the "popular" vote?
How long will that take?
Do the votes of Coloradans count?
#14
"AllNONE of Colorado’s voters should be heard, regardless of whether or not we are considered a battleground state."
Fixed. As Glolush noted this basically disenfranchises the CO voters. No candidates will visit or give a crap about CO, instead focusing exclusively on more populous states like NY, CA...
I think they are going to get a nasty lesson as to why the electoral collage is needed.
#16
And so starts the second Civil War, I hope patriots make note of every elected official that has voted for these and makes them pay for their full devotion to their ideals of destroying the US.
#17
If this is in force then it’s going to be fun when Trump wins the 2020 popular vote and CO turns red in spite of them voting almost exclusively blue...
#18
So, then, is it OK if states whose populations chafe under the rule of New Yorkers and Californians secede? Or are we really setting ourselves up for another civil war?

The California Plague has finally killed Colorado and given its electoral votes to California.
[THEHILL] Democratic Sen. Cory Spartacus Booker U.S. Senator-for-Life from Noo Joisey, formerly the mayor of Newark. Booker is a candidate for president in 2020, running on a platform of Make America Newark. He is noted for having an imaginary friend named T-Bone... (N.J.) is calling for the legalization of marijuana as part of his 2020 presidential campaign.
Booker discussed criminal justice reform and the need for "changing our drug laws," including "ending [the] prohibition against marijuana" on the radio-syndicated "Tom Joyner Morning Show" on Friday.
"We do not have equal justice under the law," Booker said of the disproportionate rate at which people in the black community are incarcerated under the country's drug laws. "I believe in redemption."
"This is a cancer on the soul of our country," he continued. "Too many of our children are being shuttled into cages."
The interview marked his first since announcing his bid for the presidency on Twitter early Friday, which also marked the first day of Black History Month.
Booker said in the interview that he chose to publicly discuss his run first with Joyner, the founder of the website Black America Web, because of what the host and his show mean "to so many people in this country."
Last year, Booker introduced the Marijuana Justice Act, which would eliminate marijuana's status as a Schedule 1 drug under the Controlled Substances Act.
The move would also require federal courts to expunge the records of Americans who have prior marijuana convictions related to use or possession.

This is the story being obscured by Blackfacegate.
[WASHINGTONPOST] A photograph on Gov. Ralph Coonman Northam Governor of Virginia, another Dem Great White Hope. He won election by calling his Publican opponent Ed Gillespie a racist, but then, don't they all?... (D)’s medical school yearbook page shows a man wearing blackface next to another person in Ku Klux Klan robe.
The image is in a 1984 yearbook from Eastern Virginia Medical School on a page with other photos of Northam and personal information about the future governor.
Northam, a pediatric neurologist, graduated from the Norfolk medical school in 1984 after earlier graduating from Virginia Military Institute.
The page is labeled Ralph Shearer Northam, along with pictures of him in a jacket and tie, casual clothes and alongside his restored Corvette.
It shows two people, one in plaid pants, bow tie and black faced, and the other in full Klan robes. Both men appear to be holding beer cans.
The person in black face is smiling. Beneath the photo is a writeup about Northam listing his alma mater, noting that his interest is pediatrics and giving a quote: "There are more old drunks than old doctors in this world so I think I’ll have another beer."

If Northam were to resign, he would be succeeded by Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax. Fairfax, a descendant of slaves
All the qualifications the Slimes needs. But this is old news, right? The Gov later denied he was in the photo. Or is that also old news?

The news reports say the revealing photo was offered by a concerned citizen. Immediately after the enormous focus on unfettered abortion was created by the governors comments on post birth abortion. The massive moral outrage tsunami that was building had to be stopped at all costs and the idiot governor had to be removed post haste. Am I the only one who sees the hand of the left in this, and why the outrage has lasted in the media so long?
#6
To me anyway, that picture is not sufficient evidence that the man hates anybody and is not sufficient cause to demand his resignation. But then, he is a Democrat so they can do whatever they want with one of their own and I have no sympathy. Enjoy your political correctness, Dr. Coat Hanger.

"A far-right conservative website was reportedly tipped off about the racist photo on Gov. Ralph Northam's medical school yearbook page by one of his former classmates.
A source from Big League Politics told the Washington Post the individual reached out because of "anger" over Northam's recent comments about a bill that would loosen restrictions on abortions.
“The revelations about Ralph Northam’s racist past were absolutely driven by his medical school classmate’s anger over his recent very public support for infanticide,” the unnamed source said."

Marianne Williamson's only previous political initiative was in 2014 when she ran in the Democratic primary for a Congressional District in Los Angeles county when Henry Waxman retired from that seat. She got some big endorsements but finished 4th. After her loss she said,
“This conversation of a politics of conscience, a politics of the heart, is much bigger than any one woman winning a congressional seat. And if that woman loses, the conversation goes on. My losing the congressional seat is small; what’s big is the larger conversation… you impact the ethers, and that energy goes somewhere.”

[IsraelTimes] Former New York City mayor’s team looking to make ’unprecedented’ and massive use of data to lay new groundwork for Democratic party.
Former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg has reportedly put together a secret team aimed at unseating US President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... in the 2020 presidential elections.
The businessman and Democratic political activist, who is worth about $40 billion, has provided hundreds of millions of dollars to a team focused on data collection and analysis, according to a report Thursday in The Atlantic.
The operation has been kept under wraps because not all details are finalized and there is a possibility Bloomberg will run for president himself in 2020, but when launched the operation would likely become the largest and most powerful political outfit in the US.
Bloomberg has long harbored dreams of becoming president, but is not expected to run if former US vice president Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
The former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body...
decides to join the race.
The political group Bloomberg is financing aims to utilize massive data collection on voters and compare it with consumer data and social media profiles to target new voters. The team’s end goal is to lay a new groundwork for the Democratic party, the report said.
A group of ten technology and political experts has been meeting secretly for months in Manhattan, headed by longtime Bloomberg political aides and Brynne Craig, a veteran of Perennial Presidential Campaigner Hillary Crooked Perennial Presidential Campaigner Hillary Crooked Hillary Clinton ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away... ’s campaign. Bloomberg does not sit in on the meetings, but is briefed afterwards, according to The Atlantic.
The team believes that private companies are more sophisticated when it comes to data collection and analysis than political operators and are looking to the private sector as a model.
Bloomberg’s spokespeople declined to comment on the report.
[Ynet] Balad party chairman Mtanes Shehadeh, elected Saturday to lead the party in the upcoming elections, said Israel treats Israeli Arabs like Palestinians, and thus Israelis shouldn't be surprised if Arabs identify as Palestinians.
Shehadeh referred to the party opening its Saturday meeting with the Palestinian anthem, and said they are "a part of the Palestinian people," adding that "the Israeli flag and anthem doesn't represent us (the Arab public), it is a part of the oppression we experience."

But the one thing Israeli Arabs really, really don’t want to experience is the joys of Palestinian rule, preferring the considerably less corrupt and more prosperous situation of life in the Jewish state.

[LidBlog] Farrakhan is acting crazy again. The Pastor of Putrid posted a short video on his Instagram account clipped from a 2015 interview on the Rock Newman radio show where he claims that God wants to segregate African Americans and Caucasians into separate American States.
Newman asks Farrakhan if it is still his goal and that of the Nation of Islam to have a separate state for Black People. I'm sure it'll be economic and social success.

Liberia is but one highly successful black governance example. Others include Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Somalia, Haiti, The DRC, Angola, you know the rest.
In all seriousness, the insidious Farrakhan is correct on this one. Multiculturalism is a white man's invention. God split up the lot and gave everyone disparate tongues for good reason.
