If the good folks modified Mr. Delgado's check in any way (like adding a zero or changing the 'pay to' line), then it's bank fraud. You know, Federal stuff.
Don't know the whole story, but sure looks like it from here.
Mr. Perez is only a symptom, poor man. So is the Nebraska Democratic Party chair.
[FREEBEACON] The chairwoman of the Nebraska Democratic Party is blaming the leader of the Democratic National Committee for her party's recent election loss in the Omaha mayoral race.
On Tuesday, Democrats were unsuccessful in their efforts to unseat Jean Strothert, the Republican mayor of Omaha, Nebraska. Democratic candidate Heath Mello lost to Strothert, receiving only 46 percent of the vote compared to the incumbent's 53 percent. The race received national attention when DNC chairman Tom Perez and former Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders ...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords... (I., Vt.) visited Omaha during their "unity tour."
Sanders endorsed Mello and told a crowd of thousands, "Are you ready for a political revolution?"
Shortly after Sanders' endorsement, reports surfaced that Mello voted for anti-abortion legislation when he was a state senator. Pro-abortion groups denounced Sanders for his endorsement, and some progressive organizations withdrew their endorsements for Mello because of his stance on abortion. This reaction sparked debate amongst Democrats about whether their party would welcome pro-life individuals. While party leaders like House Minority Leader Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. Formerly Speaker of the House, but it's not her fault they lost. Really. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace... (D., Calif.) and Sanders said the party should welcome people who do not share their view on abortion, Perez released a statement that said all Democrats should be pro-choice.
Nebraska Democratic Party chairwoman Jane Kleeb said Perez's statement excluding pro-life individuals from the Democratic Party was part of the reason why Mello lost.
"It's astounding that our party chairman would say pro-life Democrats are not welcome," Kleeb told the News Agency that Dare Not be Named when Mello conceded the election.
Mello acknowledged the dynamic of the race changed after the unity tour stopped in Omaha.
"We tried to run a campaign that was inclusive from the beginning regardless of political affiliation, regardless of ideology under the banner of change," Mello said.
The loss was the latest in a series of electoral defeats for Democrats, who have been unable to channel the resistance to President Trump into success at the ballot box.

Yup, Perez is a peach. Never interfere with the enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.
[FREEBEACON] Sen. Bernie Sanders ...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords... (I., Vt.) will join Democratic congressional candidate Rob Quist on the campaign trail in Montana.
Sanders, who endorsed Quist last month, will join him for four rallies on May 20 and 21, the Hill reported Friday.
Quist released a statement announcing his upcoming campaign travel with Sanders.
"I'm excited to have Bernie Sanders come to Big Sky Country to witness the grassroots support behind our campaign and share the message that we need more elected leaders fighting for working class families, instead of millionaires, corporations, and special interests," Quist said.
The special election is on May 25 and will determine who will fill the House seat vacated by Ryan Zinke to become secretary of the interior. Quist will face off against Republican candidate Greg Gianforte.
Quist has an interesting track record, from recommending that climate change skeptics commit suicide to having played music at nudist resorts with his daughter.

...from recommending that climate change skeptics commit suicide to having played music at nudist resorts with his daughter.
[Daily Caller] Former FBI agent and seven-term Michigan Republican Rep. Mike Rogers, who led a two-year investigation of Hillary Clinton and the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack, is on a short list to replace James Comey as director of the FBI. A 'two-year investigation of Hillary Clinton' that Rogers obstructed at nearly every turn.
The president is seriously considering Rogers, according to NBC News, citing sources familiar with the situation.
Rogers, who also led President Donald Trump’s national security transition team in 2016 before being let go just days after the election, has the backing of Tom Fuentes, a highly respected former FBI official who now serves as a top law enforcement/national security analyst for CNN. Raul Castro and Barry Soetoro endorsements of Rogers arriving at any moment.
[New York Post] In dramatic testimony Monday, Obama holdover Attorney General Sally Yates testified that she warned the incoming White House its newly installed national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was "compromised" by a lie and therefore a potential "blackmail target" of the Russians. President Trump can be forgiven for ignoring her warning. It was Yates who was blackmailing him.
It’s clear from recent revelations that President Obama and his holdovers had a morbid fear of Lt. Gen. Flynn, an anti-Islamic terror hawk, and were gunning for him early in the transition, long before rumors he was involved in any alleged Russian conspiracy.
Just two days after the election, Obama urged President-elect Trump not to rehire Flynn, whom he once fired from the Pentagon. Obama reportedly made it clear he didn’t like the man. (Flynn says his views on Islam put him at odds with the former president.)
Then in late December or early January, someone working under Obama’s own national security adviser, Susan Rice, unmasked routine NSA intercepts of the Russian ambassador. Was it to spy on Flynn, Rice’s replacement?
Just days after the inauguration, moreover, Yates used those same NSA transcripts to try to get Flynn fired, by warning the White House that he was "vulnerable" to Russian extortion.
[DailyWire] In a prolix profile in The New York Times of Barack Obama’s deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes, a startling admission comes from Obama’s former Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta; he states that Obama was lying when he said he was serious about preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons.
Panetta admits that as secretary of defense, his job was to keep Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and his defense minister, Ehud Barak, from launching an airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Panetta states that the two men wanted to know whether Obama was serious about not allowing Iran to get a nuclear weapon:
They were both interested in the answer to the question, “Is the president serious?” And you know my view, talking with the president, was: If brought to the point where we had evidence that they’re developing an atomic weapon, I think the president is serious that he is not going to allow that to happen.
The Times asks, “But would you make that same assessment now?” Panetta acknowledges, “Would I make that same assessment now? Probably not.”
The same article debunks Obama’s lie that the Iran deal only began to be negotiated after the so-called “moderate wing” of the Iranian government led by Hassan Rouhani took over in 2013. Obama said on July 14, 2015: “Today, after two years of negotiations, the United States, together with our international partners, has achieved something that decades of animosity has not.” But the Times writes:
While the president’s statement was technically accurate — there had in fact been two years of formal negotiations leading up to the signing of the J.C.P.O.A. — it was also actively misleading, because the most meaningful part of the negotiations with Iran had begun in mid-2012, many months before Rouhani and the “moderate” camp were chosen in an election among candidates handpicked by Iran’s supreme leader, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
May they all burn in the deepest level of Hell for what they did with malice aforethought. For what they said and did not say, for what they did and chose not to do, and for what they implied and allowed to be believed, may God have mercy on their souls. I can find none.

We lied to the Israelis? Well don't feel pregnant, we got lied to also. Moreover, the ACA was not available for reading prior to passing this albatross. Recall our liar-in-chief's statements to sell this POS legislation. ValJar was at the heart of all of this. What is being done to unravel it or is it just too dangerous to reveal what Champ allowed to happen with his knowledge and support?
