[FoxNews] DEVELOPING -- Multiple suspects with automatic weapons opened fire on police officers outside Dallas Police headquarters early Saturday morning, before one man fled the scene in an armored van, leading police on a chase that ended in an ongoing standoff at a nearby parking lot where additional shots were fired.
Police also reported finding two explosive devices near police headquarters. The pipe bombs detonated as they were being handled by an Explosive Ordinance Robot. Police said other suspicious packages have been cleared. Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution.

According to Twitchy, it was a white man with a normal name. In the Instapundit discussion thread, it is claimed the gentleman had a long history of run-ins with police, possibly resulting from refusal to take medication.
[TELEGRAPH.CO.UK] A British woman who posed topless on a Malaysian mountain will have to spend another night in prison after the paperwork for her release was not signed.
Eleanor Hawkins, a 23-year-old aeronautical engineering graduate from Derby, was sentenced to three days in jail and fined but was due to leave on Friday night, since she had already been in jail since Wednesday.
However it is understood the necessary release documents were not signed in time.
A Malaysian police source told the Telegraph that Miss Hawkins cried when a warden said at she would have to spend a fourth night in jail despite paying the £858 fine. He said the two men in the group of tourists sentenced will be spending the night on death row due to a shortage of free beds.
Dutch citizen Dylan Snel and Canadian Lindsey Petersen pleaded guilty in a court in Sabah state on Borneo island to a charge of public indecency, alongside Petersen's sister Danielle and Miss Hawkins.

If this is the worst that happens to her, she can count herself lucky.
Wonder what life lessons this collection of very special snowflakes will draw from this?

Ah, isn't that cute, trying to hide their faces. As if you didn't post your faces online already through other photo's.
Here's a hint: If you have an online presence, don't do stupid things that involve social media. And lets face it, you wouldn't have been posing topless if not to post it online.

[BBC] A French court has acquitted former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn of procuring hookers for sex parties in La Belle France, Belgium and the US.
Mr Strauss-Kahn stood alongside 13 co-defendants, most of whom were also acquitted of "aggravated pimping".
He has always denied knowing that some of the women who took part in orgies he attended were hookers.
Lurid details of the former French presidential hopeful's sex life emerged at hearings in Lille in February.
Although using hookers is not illegal in La Belle France, assisting in supplying them is illegal and regarded as procuring. Mr Strauss-Kahn had been accused of playing a pivotal role in facilitating the orgies.
The verdict brings to a close four years of legal proceedings against Mr Strauss-Kahn, including charges of attempted rape which were later dropped in 2012.

It kept him from winning the French presidency, so some people will be satisfied.
Finally, journalism is starting to catch up with actual events in Waco.
It turns out that at least 44 shell casings ejected from firearms were recovered at Waco, of which 32 were from bikers' guns. More shots than that were likely fired from private/non-police firearms, since some of the 151 firearms seized following the shootings were probably revolvers. The other 12 ejected weapons casings recovered were from Waco Police Department guns. As I said last week, the contention that thousands or even hundreds of shots were fired in just a few seconds was unlikely. The Waco police chief said that ARs used at the scene were not on automatic, but were set to semiautomatic.
Reading a Free Republic thread about the latest information, someone pointed out that there is a lot of spinning and parsing of information. Most of the recovered firearms played no roles in the shooting, many of them having been locked in vehicles at the time of the shooting. Some of the firearms were ditched/hidden inside the Twin Peaks restaurant, and likely also played no role.
And nothing is being addressed about state and federal police said to be in the area at the time of the shooting: did any of those operatives take part in the shooting.
It should be noted that thus far, all reporters are doing now is taking dictation, not reporting.
I remarked to a friend at work how much of the activity of the press at Waco reminded me of the spoon feeding of the press done in Oklahoma by the federal government just after the Murrah Building bombing in Oklahoma City 20 years ago. No one is doing independent reporting so far.
I had considered doing work for the Examiner many years ago, but I quickly came to the conclusion those folks have no idea of what they are doing. I signed up, but eventually posted nothing for them.

[ARABNEWS] A Saudi man shot his sister five times at her workplace in Al-Hamra district in Jeddah on Thursday because of a family disagreement, media reports said on Friday.
The woman, 27, had been living in a Ministry of Social Affairs shelter, which had provided her transport to and from work. She was a manager at her company.
According to the report, the man entered the women's department at the company, shot his sister at point blank range and expeditiously departed at a goodly pace. She died of her wounds on the way to hospital.

[ARABNEWS] Gay Paree airport police held a 6-year-old French girl for three days on suspicion she had a fake passport -- until a judge ordered her released into her mother's arms, a lawyer said Friday.
Authorities insist that police were just doing their jobs to protect children from trafficking, but the case has caused indignation in La Belle France amid sensitive debate over police treatment of waves of undocumented migrants coming to Europe in recent months.
The girl was detained Saturday at Charles de Gaulle airport, after arriving from Cameroon ...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there... , said lawyer Sidonie Leoue. The girl was traveling as an unaccompanied minor carrying all necessary documents, and her mother was waiting at the Gay Paree airport to greet her, Leoue said.
She waited three days.
Police thought the girl's passport photo didn't resemble her, and suspected a fake, according to the lawyer and the French Interior Ministry.
The Gay Paree-born girl was held in a special police day care for three days before she appeared before a judge, who asked the girl to identify her mother, seated across the courtroom, the lawyer said. The girl also was shown photos of a teacher and classmates from a school she had attended in La Belle France, and asked to identify them, which she did.
"The judge said it was all a mistake" and ordered the girl's release, Leoue said. "It's inadmissible that minors are held there like this, especially for a reason such as this."
Interior Ministry front man Pierre-Henry Brandet said police are still analyzing whether the passport is valid and confiscated it pending further investigation.
"Verifying the identity of a child, establishing with certainty the link between the (child) and the person traveling with them or waiting for them at the airport, is about protecting the child against trafficking, kidnapping," he said. He said minors are held in a special nursery at the airport run by Red Thingy staff "to make their stay as calm as possible."

[BBC] King Felipe VI of Spain has removed the title "Duchess of Palma" from his sister, Princess Cristina, who is to go on trial charged with tax evasion.
She was granted the title in 1997 when she married Inaki Urdangarin, a former Olympic handball player who is also accused of tax evasion.
Princess Cristina had asked the king to remove her title, her lawyer said.
But the royal palace said the king made the decision before seeing her request. She denies the tax fraud charges.
Prosecutors in Palma de Mallorca have long been investigating the business dealings of Inaki Urdangarin.
He stands accused with 15 others of embezzling 5.6m euros (£4m; $6m) of public money from the Noos Institute - a charitable sports foundation he ran with a business partner. The princess is accused of involvement in the alleged scam.

It's not just happening here, OR gather ye rosebuds while ye may, O Hackers -- governments will soon start paying more attention to computer security.
[AnNahar] Canada's politicians and staff were warned Friday of an ongoing cyberattack targeting the country's parliament, local media reported.
A government email published by the daily Ottawa Citizen said "private and public sector employees, including House of Commons employees, are currently being targeted by several cyberattacks."
The security bulletin from the House of Commons chief information officer also said the attacks have so far resulted "in the theft of large volumes of personal data" and urged vigilance against hacking, warning against opening suspicious email links or attachments.
Officials were not immediately available to comment.

Proc, they do have a few nuclear warheads on top of SLBM, which I think qualfiues them as "weapons". And no doubt they have a few firearms for the MA security ratings aboard.
[DAWN] A 12-year-old boy was accidentally rubbed out by his teacher while cleaning pistol in the school at Sangota area of Manglawar here on Thursday.
According to Sangota police, Majid Ahmad, a teacher in a private school, accidentally shot his student dead. "A pistol went off from a teacher's hands when he was cleaning it. The bullet hit a fifth grade student leaving him dead on the spot," district police officer, Swat, Salim Marwat told Dawn.
The school administration also said that the pistol went off accidentally hitting the student when he was passing by the staff room.
"The teacher, Majid, himself rushed the student to the hospital and later handed over himself to the police," said the hospital sources. The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa ... formerly NWFP, still Terrorism Central... government has already asked the teachers to keep weapons in school after the tragic incident of the Army Public School, Beautiful Downtown Peshawar ...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province), administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border. Peshawar has evolved into one of Pakistan's most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities, which means lots of gunfire. , on Dec 16 last year.
However, there's more than one way to stuff a chicken... civil society activists and teachers association, largely, condemned the government's decision to bind the schools' administration and teachers for keeping weapons inside the schools. The KP government has also conducted training on the use of weapons for teachers and watchmen in schools.

An NAACP leader's parents have made a startling revelation: their daughter, for years a highly visible civil rights activist in Eastern Washington, is white.
Rachel Dolezal, Spokane's NAACP Chapter President and part-time Africana Studies professor at Eastern Washington University, has been misleading people about her ethnicity for years, her parents say.
Her mother even offered photographic proof. While today the 37-year-old divorcee currently sports tight, dark curls, her mom Ruthanne Dolezal showed KREM photos of the fair and freckled blonde daughter she once knew.
Dolezal is now facing a city ethics probe after she identified herself as black in an application to serve on a local police ombudsman commission - a position she secured. Well considering you can change your gender now at will, why not race? #BornWrongSkin <-- real hashtag BTW
'It's very sad that Rachel has not just been herself,' Ruthanne Dolezal told the Spokesman-Review. 'Her effectiveness in the causes of the African-American community would have been so much more viable, and she would have been more effective if she had just been honest with everybody.'
The Dolezals remain in Northwest Montana, where Dolezal grew up. It is not clear why they have now shared the revelations but Dolezal has previously said that she no longer has any contact with her parents. In articles in the Easterner, she claimed they were violent towards her.
But her father denies this and said that Dolezal cut off all communication with them and doesn't want them to be seen in Spokane 'because we're Caucasian', Buzzfeed News reported. Not sad. A predictable end to the bullshit the left has been spooning into kids through the school system all their lives

Actually, looked at from the right point of view, full marks to the NAA(L)CP for practicing what they preach on Diversity and Affirmative Action. For that matter, evaluating by content of character rather then skin color.
Also- gods of the abyss, what a piece of work this girl is.

As they always do, the left has taken another bite out of itself. "Race" is now a "social construct," meaning it can be safely ignored, except when it can't. Listen to the crickets as Sharpton and the other race hustlers say nothing.

According to the settled 'science', we're all from Africa. How many generations does it take for the classification to change. Remember a 'white' born in South Africa from many generations prior born there is never African. However, a 'black' born in America after many generations being there is always African. Epicycles of Marxist political correctness.
