[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 19 gunnies were killed and at least 8 others were maimed during the Arclight airstrikes conducted in western Farah province of Afghanistan.
The 207th Zafar Corps of the Afghan Military in the West said the airstrike were carried out on Thursday in the vicinity of Parchaman district.
The source further added that the airstrikes targeted two compounds of the gunnies in Rabat Payin and Koh Surkhak areas, leaving at least 19 dead and 8 others maimed.

Farah is among the relatively calm provinces in West of Afghanistan where fewer security related incidents have taken place since the fall of the Taliban ...Arabic for students... regime.
However, denial ain't just a river in Egypt... the anti-government armed gunnies have been attempting to expand their foothold and destabilize the province during the recent months and years.

[PRESSTV] Yemeni army forces, supported by allied fighters from the Houthi Ansarullah movement and those from Popular Committees, have fired a domestically-designed and -developed ballistic missile at a strategic economic target in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern border region of Jizan in retaliation for the Riyadh regime’s brutal military aggression against the impoverished country.
Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network, citing a military official, said the short-range Badr-1 missile struck Jizan Industrial City on Friday evening, inflicting unspecified damage and casualties.
In a separate report, al-Masirah reported that the Yemeni army had also managed to target a gathering of the Saudi-led coalition’s mercenaries in Yemen’s flashpoint province of Hudaydah with another short-range ballistic missile earlier in the day, adding that the projectile had hit the designated target with great precision.
It added that the missile attack came after the Yemeni air force and air defense units collected exact coordinates of the target.
On Monday, the media bureau of Yemen’s Operations Command for the first time released a video of the army’s reconnaissance operations on the flashpoint western coasts conducted by a number of unmanned aerial vehicles.
It said that most of the missile attacks against the Saudi-led military coalition, either inside Yemen or inside Saudi Arabia, were carried out based on the coordinates collected by the Yemeni drones.
Brig. Gen. Abdullah al-Jafri, spokesman of Yemeni air force and air defense, said at the time that using drones was the winning card of the Yemeni army in fighting against Saudi-led forces in the western coasts.
He added that the invading enemy was unable to intercept drones, which cost the Yemeni army only one thousand dollars, at most, to produce each of them.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Saudi air defense on Friday intercepted a ballistic missile fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias from Yemen, towards the Saudi city of Jazan.
The Yemeni legitimate forces have repeatedly stressed the continued involvement of the Iranian regime in supporting the Houthi militias and supplying them with rockets carrying qualitative capabilities, in clear defiance to United Nations Resolutions 2216 and 2231 in order to threaten the security of Saudi Arabia and destabilize regional and international security.

The military source said that the al-Amalika brigade conducted a largescale combing operation in the surrounding areas after taking control of the directorate.
During this operation, tens of Houthi militia members surrendered to the al-Amalika brigade.
This operation comes in the context of a large combing operation by the brigade on the west coast in order to stop the infiltration by the militias in al-Tahita, al-Husseiniya, Zubaid and al-Jarrahi south of the governorate.
The Houthi coup militia tried by this infiltration to obstruct the advancement of the Yemeni legitimate army and allied popular resistance, and planted mines and bombs in roads on the coastline.

“We can confirm that the Netherlands has expelled two persons accredited to the Iranian embassy,” a spokesperson for the Dutch intelligence said. “We will not provide any further Information”

Assadi was detained on Sunday near the German city of Aschaffenburg on a European arrest warrant for suspected involvement in the plot.
Belgium said this week it had arrested two Belgians of Iranian origin suspected of plotting to bomb an Iranian opposition rally on the outskirts of Paris.
It has also requested the extradition of an Austria-based Iranian diplomat held in Germany and a man of Iranian origin in France in connection with the Paris plot.

[AnNahar] Anti-terror police have detained two Britons of Iraqi origin at an airport in southwest The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire.... on charges of spreading terror propaganda for outlawed Kurdish turbans, media reported Friday.
Two brothers identified as Ayman Barzan and Hariam Barzan were held Thursday at Dalaman airport after they were interviewed by anti-terror risk analysis police over their "suspicious behaviors," the DHA private news agency reported.
Police later checked their social media accounts where they allegedly disseminated propaganda in favor of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) militia, DHA said.
Turkey considers the YPG as the Syrian branch of the PKK -- which has waged a bloody insurgency against the state since 1984 and is blacklisted as a terror group by Ankara and its Western allies.
The two brothers, who were detained by police, were later placed by a local court in pre-trial detention, DHA said.

It’s Friday, and some people have nothing better to do than riot.
[Ynet] Explosive device goes off early near Karni crossing, wounding several Paleostinian murderous Moslems trying to hurl it at Israeli troops; Mohammed Abu Halima, 22, killed in festivities, with cause of death in dispute; IDF battles 3,000 Paleostinians rioting near the border fence.
A Paleostinian taking part in a border protests was killed on Friday, Gazook medical officials said, with different reports on his cause of death.
Health ministry front man Ashraf al-Qudra said Mohammed Abu Halima, 22, had died from shrapnel wounds to his chest, sustained in an kaboom east of Gazoo City.
He also said Israeli shelling maimed eight people in the same location, east of Gazoo City, though it was not clear if the two incidents were linked.
Qudra did not have details on the source of the shrapnel, but Paleostinian eye witnesses told AFP Abu Halima was maimed when a device he was holding went kaboom!.
The IDF denied shelling, saying troops used riot dispersal measures, including gunfire, as they confronted 3,000 Paleostinians at five points along the border fence, some rolling burning tires and throwing rocks.
The IDF further said a number of murderous Moslems attempted to approach the security fence with the intention of hurling an bomb at soldiers adjacent to the Karni crossing in the northern Gazoo Strip.
"The bomb went off within the Gazoo Strip and injured several Paleostinians," the army said in a statement. "No injuries to IDF soldiers were reported."
The Gazoo Health ministry said almost 400 people were maimed in Friday's protests, 57 of them from live bullets.
"The Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbung millipede, terror organization is using different measures to carry out terror attacks during the violent rioting. The Hamas murderous Moslems take advantage of the crowds and under the cover of the protests operate and endanger the residents of the strip, turning them into a cover for terrorism," the IDF said.
The Paleostinian Centre of Policy and Survey Research said on Wednesday that 74 percent of Paleostinians believe the protests have not achieved their goals or achieved little.
Its poll found 61 percent of Gazooks believe Hamas is responsible for the "initiation and organization" of the border protests.
Incendiary kites and balloons from the Gazoo Strip continued causing fires in Israel on Friday, with some 60 dunams (15 acres) burned at the Reches Gvar'am Reserve and some 300 dunams (74 acres) in the Ruhama Kurkar nature reserve northwest of Sderot. Some 5 dunams (1.2 acres) burned in the HaBesor Stream area as a result of another fire.
[PRESSTV] Mohammad Jamal Abu Halima, 22, was named as the victim and can be seen ferried away on a stretcher.
Emergency personnel were on site, assisting injured protesters.
A total of 136 Paleostinians have been killed in the series of rallies known as the 'Great March of Return' since they began on March 30.
The 'Great March of Return' protests were launched along the Gazoo-Israel border on March 30 to demand the right for Paleostinians to return to their pre-1948 homes.

[Ynet] Mortar shell‐fired during fighting between President Assad's forces and Syrian rebels‐lands in buffer zone between two countries; IDF stresses it has no desire to become involved in internal fighting but reiterates commitment to honor 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement
The IDF struck a Syrian military outpost on Friday afternoon after a mortar shell was fired from it at Israel. The projectile landed in the buffer zone east of the border fence between the two countries.
The errant mortar shell was part of the internal fighting in the ongoing civil war between Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Supressor of the Damascenes... ’s regime and rebels fighting to overthrow him.
The Syrian army claimed the IDF targeted a hill in the vilage of Khan Arnabah, which is in the Quneitra Governorate, noting there were no casualties.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit issued a statement reiterating that the military remains uninvolved in the war ravaging Syria and will continue to honor the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement that includes preserving the buffer zone.
South Syrian rebels said on Friday they had agreed to cease fire and start handing over heavy weapons in a deal mediated by Russia that will restore state illusory sovereignty over areas they hold in Deraa province after a fierce government offensive.
A commander in the regional alliance supporting Assad had earlier said government forces were advancing through rebel territory along Syria's frontier with Jordan and would soon reach the countries' main border crossing.
With the help of Russian air power, the government's assault has swept into swathes of Deraa over the past two weeks, shrinking one of Syria's last rebel strongholds.
The rebels said the deal was brokered by Russia and would allow both fighters and civilians in opposition areas to settle their status with the government under Moscow's protection.
Rebels who did not wish to come back under Assad's rule would leave for the bad boy stronghold in northwest Syria, they said.
The commander in the pro-Assad alliance told Rooters the army and its allies had seized a string of villages and reached the border. "Within a short period of time, they will reach the (Nassib) crossing," the non-Syrian commander said, speaking on condition of anonymity ... for fear of being murdered... Several witnesses along the Jordan border fence with Syria said they spotted armoured vehicles and a tank with a Russian flag heading to the Nassib crossing, a vital trade artery.
Israeli leaders have sent a series of messages making clear that they expect Assad and his Iranian-backed allies to honor a decades-old agreement that sets out a demilitarized zone along the frontier and limits the number of forces each side can deploy within 25 kilometers (15 miles) of the zone.
"We have a Separation of Forces Agreement with Syria from 1974," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared this week. "This is the guiding principle. We will adhere to it very strictly and so must others, everyone."
Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan told Ynet on Thursday that "We must verify and do everything to clarify, vis-a-vis the Russians, the Assad government, that we will not accept any armed presence by the Assad regime in the areas which are meant to be demilitarized."
Asked if Israel was prepared to take preventive action against the Syrian military, Erdan said: "Unequivocally, yes."
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot received a military briefing in northern Israel on Wednesday during a visit to the 366th Division in the Golan Heights as President Assad's army continues its campaign to reclaim the last rebel-held strongholds in southwest Syria.

[IsraelTimes] A boom-mobileing in eastern Syria on Friday killed at least 18 people including 11 members of a U.S.-backed force that has fought the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. "A boom-mobile went off in front of the Syrian Democratic Forces' base in al-Bsayra town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside," said Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
It killed "a commander and ten other personnel, as well as seven civilians including three children," he said.
ISIS? The Turks or their proxies? Assad’s people? Someone else? So many possibilities, so little information.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast, but IS has claimed similar attacks in the past.
In Deir Ezzor province, the jihadists have been pushed back by two separate offensives: one by the SDF along the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, and another by Syrian regime forces on the western bank.
Despite its losses, IS still maintains a presence in villages in the Deir Ezzor’s east.
In May, the SDF announced the final stage of its battle to expel IS from its last desert holdouts in eastern Syria.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has raised the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic, today, over the strategic Nassib Crossing for the first time in three years.
Following an agreement between the Russian Reconciliation Center and Syrian opposition, the Syrian military raised their flag over the Nassib Crossing, marking their first return to the site since withdrawing in late March 2015.
With their control of the Nassib Crossing, the Syrian government will now restore the imperative highway linking Damascus and Amman.
Reopening the Nassib Crossing has been a top priority for the Syrian government since they managed to retake the entire Damascus countryside.
The Syrian Arab Army will now shift their attention to the provincial capital of Daraa, where they hope to retake the entire southern part of the city.
In order to secure the Nassib Crossing, the Syrian Army will have capture the Daraa Al-Balad District in the provincial capital.
Without control of the Daraa Al-Balad District, the Syrian Army’s positions in the Nassib Crossing will be exposed to potential threats from the rebel forces in the provincial capital.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has beefed up their defenses in northern Latakia, following reports of an imminent jihadist offensive in the Jabal Al-Akrad and Jabal Turkmen regions.
According to a field report from Latakia, the Syrian Arab Army and National Defense Forces (NDF) have reinforced several areas around Jabal Al-Akrad and Jabal Turkmen, with a heavy concentration of troops at the Kinsibba front.
Kinsibba was recaptured by the Syrian Arab Army in 2016 after a fierce battle with the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (formerly Jabhat Al-Nusra) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA).
Since retaking Kinsibba, the Syrian Arab Army has heavily fortified this area, as the town itself is highly valued by the rebels due to its territorial advantage.
The jihadist rebels have been reportedly gathering around Jabal Al-Akrad and Jabal Turkmen to launch a big offensive against the Syrian Arab Army and National Defense Forces in this region of Latakia.
This upcoming Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham offensive is supposed to be in retaliation for the Syrian Arab Army’s operation in southern Syria; however, the jihadists have been increasingly aggressive in this part of Latakia since the Turkish military setup an observation point in Jabal Al-Akrad.

[ALMASDARNEWS] For the second straight night, Russia’s Hmeymim Airport has come under attack by armed drones.
According to a local field source in the coastal city of Jableh, several armed drones targeted the Hmeymim Airbase’s northeastern perimeter, prompting the Russian air defense to activate its warning sirens.
Once the sirens were activated, the Russian air defense reportedly intercepted the armed drones before they could hit any targets inside the Hmeymim Airbase or its vicinity.
The field source informed Al-Masdar that the armed drones originated from the Jisr Al-Shughour District of southwest Idlib.
Jisr Al-Shughour is the same place that the Russian Aerospace Forces have been heavily bombing over the last 24 hours.
Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) are currently in control of Jisr Al-Shughour, making this part of Idlib a serious concern for the Russian military and Syrian Arab Army (SAA).
The Russian military has accused both Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party of carrying out these attacks on the Hmeymim Airbase.
