That looks useful, but can our people officially become aware of things on documents labelled above their clearance, though now available in the public domain? I remember we had issues here with the first leaks, about providing more than the barest links to articles on the subject.

The 'burg community has speculated for some time on the fault lines of a looming civil war. It is clear that Obama and the donks have this as their goal, being the dedicated Marxists that they are. The fact they are confident of winning such a conflict clarifies the rot the Left has inflicted on OUR nation.

I believe it's mostly going to come down to urban vs rural - especially large, coastal cities vs those who supply them with food, water, and power.
Personally, let's get it started so we can get it over with and get back to being a Constitutional republic again.

When the SNAP boodle stops....urban anarchy will begin. People will simply not queue up for the soup as they did in the 1930's. The intial shots may be being heard in Chicago as we speak. It is anyone's guess, but the tipping point may be a politically defeated, but still quite vocal Obama cadre.

The public sector has been the engine of entitlement, stagnation, and decline -- and gave us Detroit and the South Bronx.
Add to that the wonderful progressive milestones (sarc) of Chicago politics, public sector unions who have broken local and State economies, huge Federal deficits, loss of freedom, destruction of the health care system, out-of-control public debt, destruction of the middle class, shipping of our manufacturing to China and other countries, industry strangling regulations, redistribution our wealth internally and abroad, social justice, political correctness, rampant gang activity throughout our cities,...and on and on.
I'm only surprised there hasn't been a civil war before this time between the haves and have nots or a rebellion against the government.
It must be breaking their heart for Aletho News, a leading anti-Israeli site, to have written this article.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul in a New York Times Op-Ed, warned both Benjamin Netanyahu and Barack Obama that the Arab Revolution is aimed at Israel. However, later events in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Syria proved that Abdullah Gul was totally wrong.
Last week, Gabriel M. Scheinmann, a visiting Fellow at the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), admitted that the Zionist entity is in fact the winner of the so-called Arab Spring.
The so-called Arab Spring has, paradoxically, made Israel stronger as Israels enemies have turned on each other. While Arab capitals burn, Jerusalem has calmly and carefully steeled itself against the possible immediate deleterious effects, building fences along its Egyptian and Jordanian borders and accelerating the deployment of its Iron Dome anti-missile system, wrote Scheinmann. He then added: Even as it rightly plans for the changes wrought by the Arab Spring, Israel should also recognize that as the Middle East convulses, it is more likely to be left alone. As Alawites battle Arab Sunnis and Kurds in Syria, as Kurds target Turks in Turkey, as the Imazighen fight Arabs in Libya, as the Army contends with Islamists in Egypt, and as Sunnis and Christians confront Shiites in Lebanon, people dont have the time, energy, or resources to fight the Jews in Israel. The more the region tears itself apart, the more Israel floats to the top, unscathed economically, militarily, or diplomatically. While an Islamist ascent is undesirable, the intervening disorder only makes Israel stronger.
Karen DeYoung, in Gen. Colin Powells biography, SOLDIER: The life of Colin Powell, has quoted Powell twice saying that the Iraq war was the product of Donald Rumsfelds absorption in the JINSA crowd. By the way, Dick Cheney was on JINSAs Board of Advisors before becoming vice president, where he was joined by Ledeen, Feith, Perle, James Woolsey, and John Bolton.
Both AIPAC and JINSA are behind Washingtons regime change in Tehran. So far the Israel lobby has failed to make its dream come true, as Vali Nasr, author of The Shia Revival, wrote: The wars of 2001 and 2003 have fundamentally changed the Middle East to Irans advantage.
Lebanons interior minister, retired Maj. Gen. Marwan Charbel in a recent interview with RT has claimed that the Zionist entity is the only country which has benefited from the so-called Arab Spring.
The so-called Arab Spring is the defacto working of Zionist elements in the United States. The brainchild is within the Israel-Firsters, and by extension the Zionist entity.

While an Islamist ascent is undesirable, the intervening disorder only makes Israel stronger."
If that ascent is completed, meaning most of the Arab Middle East is reconstituted into a single Ikhwan state (aka Caliphate, in which the Gulf's emirs and emirates are eliminated), Israel will face an existential threat.

OTOH TOPIX > IRANIAN INSIDER: ISRAEL WILL BE DESTROYED IFF WEST ATTACKS SYRIA. Former Iranian INTEL Officer Hassan Abbassi.
ARTIC > ABBASSI = due to the ongoing "Arab/
Muslim Spring" led Regional Upheavals + Assad Crisis, Israel is actually becom steadily surrounded + INDRECTLY HELD HOSTAGE by anti-Zionist resistance movements in Syria, Lebanon, + Gaza. AS SUCH, "HOSTAGE" ISRAEL WILL BE KILLED IFF SYRIA IS ATTACKED + INVADED BY THE US, OR BY US, UN-LED COALITION.
IIUC, as per Artic the "OWS" Movement in the US is seen by IRAN as part of its perceived multi-phased "Islamic Awakening", + as such COULD ULTIMATELY BE USED AS A SPRINGBOARD FOR INITIATING ISLAMIST-LED JIHAD IN THE US PER SE [North AMerica].
* IIRC FREEREPUBLIC [paraph] > US GENERAL: SHARIA LAW ALREADY EXISTS IN THE US.
It has begun - the time for Ameris to stop the rise of Sharia + Islamic/Islamist America was yesterday + day(s) before, not today.

...By some estimates, the United States has more oil than Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran combined, and Canada may have even more than the United States. A GAO report released last May (pdf link can be found here) estimates that up to the equivalent of 3 trillion barrels of shale oil may lie in just one of the major potential US energy production sites. If half of this oil is recoverable, US reserves in this one deposit are roughly equal to the known reserves of the rest of the world combined.
...Domestically, the energy bonanza changes the American outlook far more dramatically than most people yet realize. This is a Big One, a game changer, and it will likely be a major factor in propelling the United States to the next (and still unknown) stage of development towards the next incarnation of the American Dream.

Hmm, I doubt it. The economy really grows on comparative advantage, and a prerequisite of that is to control your own time (which is harmed by income based (and deferred income i.e. sales) taxes).
With the bureaucrats controlling so much of the economy I think the oil will be squandered.

Disagree, BP. The current USA elites are neither smart, nor tough enough, to retain power in fluid Economy. In particular, given the fact that all of this new oil wealth/power is in private hands so far.

The only way we're going to move forward is if we get rid of the power-hungry tics who are draining us dry from DC and Blue-Model state houses across the country.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
