[SUDANTRIBUNE] The World Health Organization (WHO) warned on Tuesday that 800,000 people in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, are facing a dire humanitarian crisis, trapped without adequate food, water, or medical care amidst growing fears of famine. Seems their natural state
Dr Shible Sahbani, WHO Representative to Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... , issued an urgent alert highlighting the dire situation in El Fasher, where heavy fighting between rival military factions has made access to the city "completely impossible."
Since May 10th, El Fasher has been the site of fierce battles between the army and its allied armed movements against the Rapid Support Forces. The conflict has resulted in numerous civilian casualties, widespread displacement, and extensive damage to infrastructure.
Also, the ongoing fighting has severely hampered humanitarian efforts and left vulnerable populations, including children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers, suffering from acute hunger and lacking essential medical care.
The WHO has called on all parties involved in the conflict to uphold international humanitarian law and ensure the protection of civilians, aid workers, and essential infrastructure, including hospitals. Dr. Sahbani emphasized the urgent need for immediate access to El Fasher and other affected areas to avert a further deterioration of the health situation.

If El Fasher is isolated (which means the road and the railroad supply lines to Khartoum are cut off) its time to get out of Dodge. City residents have had months of warning, but the Arab majority thought the government would save them. Immediate help from Russia (which wants a port on the Red Sea) will have to be overwhelming to save the day. But Putin (and his mercenaries) can read the tea leaves.

[GEO.TV] Liberia-flagged oil tanker Chios Lion was assessing damage and investigating a potential oil spill after it was attacked by Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... 's Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him... s in the Red Sea, the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC) said on Tuesday.
An unmanned watercraft inflicted minor damage to Chios Lion's port side on Monday as part of a swarm of attacks by the Houthis on the vessel and another ship sailing around 100 nautical miles northwest of Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah.
"While originally headed south, following the attack the vessel turned around and back north out of the threat area to further assess damage and investigate potential oil spillage," the JMIC said in a statement.
[GEO.TV] Following preliminary investigation into the earth-shattering kaboom at the Jamshoro Police Station, the Counter-Terrorism Department and the Special Branch of Sindh police have concluded that the blast took place after explosives placed in the old Maal Khana (evidence room) went off.
"The explosion damaged the Maal Khana of the cop shoppe to a great extent," a CTD official said, clarifying that it was not a hand grenade explosion.
The statement contradicted Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Tariq Dharejo claim that a hand grenade went off due to heat inside the Jamshoro Police Station, resulting in eight injuries.
Speaking to Geo News, the senior police official said that the storeroom got heated up and as a result, the grenade went kaboom!, due to which two assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs), five other police personnel, and a suspect sustained injuries.
Six of the injured are being treated at the Civil Hospital in Hyderabad, while two others have been shifted to Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... for further treatment, DIG Dharejo said.
The senior cop, although had earlier attributed the earth-shattering kaboom to heat, noted that an investigation was still underway to ascertain the cause of the blast while the bomb disposal squad was also at the scene of the incident.
In response, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar sought a report from senior superintendent of police (SSP) Jamshoro and directed the cops to probe the incident using "modern technology".
"Quality medical facilities should be provided to the injured police personnel. Bomb disposal squad should be called in to investigate the blast," the home minister added.
Hours later, the CTD official said, "We can't rule out the possibility of the burst being caused by heat or a short circuit."
When the head muharrir, wireless operator and constables saw smoke billowing out of the Maal Khana, they rushed to the affected site, the CTD official said, adding that as soon as the head muharrir opened the door, the powerful bang occurred.
The intensity of the blast could be imagined from the fact that the Maal Khana's walls and roof caved in, the CTD official noted.
The explosive may have weighed more than a kilogramme, he added.

[JPost] Israeli Air Force UAV targets Islamic Group terrorist who collaborated with Hamas to attack Israel's northern border.
The IAF eliminated the Hamas-affiliated Islamic Group terrorist Mohammed Jbara in southern Lebanon, the IDF reported on Thursday.
According to the report, Jbara was trusted with facilitating and carrying out terror operations and launches from Lebanon into Israel, some in collaboration with the Islamic terror organization Hamas in the country.
His elimination impaired Hamas's ability to promote and carry out terror operations against Israel along the northern border, which had intensified in recent times.
Terrorist eliminated in western Beqaa Valley
Earlier on Thursday, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) struck a car in southern Lebanon, reportedly killing one Islamic Group terrorist, Kan News reported on Thursday, citing the Saudi-affiliated Al-Arabiya news outlet.
According to Kan's report, the terrorist was eliminated in the western Beqaa Valley in Lebanon.
