Or just waits until things die down then re-arrest him in the middle of the night.

Dr Ejaz Qadeer, who is also the joint executive director of the Pakistain Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) has been provided medical treatment including a pacemaker, a small device placed in the chest or abdomen to control abnormal cardiac rhythms that uses electrical pulses to prompt the heart to beat at a normal rate.
A week after Sharif was sent to Adiala jail with his daughter Maryam Nawaz on July 13, the head of the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) retired Maj Gen Dr Azhar Mehmood Kiyani suggested that he be shifted to the RIC because he was facing severe heart problems.
However, if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning... instead of moving him to the RIC, a medical board was formed to examine him and give a second opinion. The team visited the prison for almost a week and submitted a report stating that Sharif was fine and did not need to be brought to the hospital. However, if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning... Sharif was brought to Pims on July 29.
A hospital doctor, requesting anonymity, said the medical board was under pressure because of the importance and sensitivity of the matter.

[DAWN] MULTAN: Veteran politician Javed Hashmi has said the government to be formed by the Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf ...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations.... will be too weak to deliver and other parties will have to help its chairman Imran Khan ... aka Taliban Khan, who ain't the sharpest bulb on the national tree... to save the democracy in the country.
"The PTI is not in a position to rule due its internal differences. All the other political parties should help Imran Khan. We have to fight another war to protect the democracy. This (PTI’s) government will complete hardly one year and the next face (of government) will not be a democratic one," he said talking to the media here on Sunday.
Mr Hashmi said he had already predicted that a hung parliament was going to be formed after the election.
He regretted the country was faced with a political crisis after the general election and the Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf was busy in horse trading.
"Every tactic is being used for (winning) the number game as many of the winning independent parliamentarians (-elect) have said that money is being offered to them," he said. He said no party had a majority in the Center and there was total dependence on independent parliamentarians to form the government.
He said the election results had created a difficult situation for Imran Khan because his party could not get sufficient mandate to form the government. Mr Hashmi said the next government would be very weak and won’t be able to resolve the issues of the masses.

[Ynet] Norway has asked Israel to explain the legal grounds for detaining a Norwegian-flagged fishing boat seized while activists tried to sail with aid to the Gazoo Strip, Norway's foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
The ministry said its diplomats in Israel had been providing consular assistance to five Norwegians who were among the 22 passengers and crew detained onboard the vessel Kaarstein on Sunday. Two Israelis on board were quickly released.
"We have asked the Israeli authorities to clarify the circumstances around the seizure of the vessel and the legal basis for the intervention," the front man for the Norwegian foreign affairs ministry in Oslo said. A front man for Israel's Foreign Ministry declined to comment.
Torstein Dahle, head of the group Ship to Gazoo Norway which organized the shipment, said it was the first Norwegian aid vessel to attempt to breach the Israeli blockade of Gazoo.
The captain had been struck on the head by Israeli soldiers who ordered him to sail for Israel, but no one was seriously hurt, Dahle said.
Audun Lysbakken, leader of Norway's opposition Socialist Left party, called on the foreign ministry to protest against what he described as Israel "hijacking" the Norwegian boat in international waters.
Among those detained is Mikkel Gruner, a Danish citizen who lives in Norway and is the Socialist Left representative in the municipal council of the Norwegian city of Bergen. Lysbakken said the activists had legal rights to protest against Israel's blockade, demanding the release of Gruner and the others.

Multiple sources from rebel-held parts of Syria including military commanders, businessmen, fighters, and residents have described to AFP a sprawling, quasi-official network of deals and arrangements on cross-country trade.

[ALMASDARNEWS] Delivering a speech to commemorate the 73rd Army Day, Lebanese Army Commander Gen. Joseph Aoun said that under the country’s military doctrine, Israel is considered an "enemy state."
On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Lebanese Army’s establishment, the commander of the armed forces, General Joseph Aoun, stated that despite its success in defeating terrorists, including preemptive operations, the military should remain vigilant to defy "the Israeli enemy."
"The doctrine of the Lebanese Armed Forces is steadier than ever and its compass will remain stable and firmly aimed at defying the Israeli enemy and the threat of terrorism that only serves the Israeli interests and objectives," Aoun said.
The commander further stressed that the Arab region was engulfed in crises and conflicts that would "undoubtedly have their repercussions" on Leb.
"Leb has achieved a sweeping victory over terrorism. Nevertheless, this does not mean that it is now safe, for the Israeli enemy is the main party to benefit from terrorism in the region, due to its greed for our land and natural resources. It will take advantage of every chance possible to reach its objectives and avidities," he said.

Squeal Bitches!
[Bloomberg] Iran's Revolutionary Guards, in unusually pointed language, called on President Hassan Rouhani to do more to prop up the rial after the currency fell to a historic low this week in anticipation of renewed U.S. sanctions.
"The unique and extensive backing you formerly benefited from in past weeks shouldn't preclude you from taking revolutionary actions to control prices and prevent the enormous increase in the price of foreign currency and gold," Guard commander Mohammad Ali Jafari was quoted as saying in an open letter to Rouhani, published by the Tasnim news agency. "Decision-making in today's difficult circumstances necessitates revolutionary determination and decisiveness in dealing with certain managers' weaknesses."
The call to revolutionary action comes from a powerful military organization that controls a range of local companies. It also plumbs ordinary Iranians' growing frustration with the Rouhani government's response to the tumbling of the rial and the poor state of the economy. If senior Iranian officials have in the past expressed support for Rouhani's efforts to shield Iran from the sanctions' fallout, then the Guards' language on Tuesday was harsher, demanding that he immediately take more forceful action to deliver results.
In a separate appeal, some 200 lawmakers sent Rouhani a letter demanding that he shake up his economic team and replace the minister for economic and financial affairs and the minister for industry, trade and mines, the semi-official Iranian Students' News Agency reported, quoting Abolfazl Soroush, a member of parliament for Tehran.
The rial sank to 116,000 to the dollar on the black market on Sunday from about 90,000 last week, far weaker than the official rate of 44,070. Authorities have rounded up more than two dozen merchants who they say exploited government currency measures for personal gain, in an effort to show they're fighting profiteering and trying to cushion the blow of the U.S. economic offensive.

And, exactly how, they expect him to achieve this?
LONDON (Reuters) - Senior Iranian officials on Tuesday rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s offer of talks without preconditions as worthless and "a humiliation" after he acted to reimpose sanctions on Tehran following his withdrawal from a landmark nuclear deal. Separately, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Trump’s repudiation of the accord reached in 2015 was "illegal" and Iran would not easily yield to Washington’s renewed campaign to strangle Iran’s vital oil exports.
In May, Trump pulled the United States out of the multilateral deal concluded before he took office, denouncing it as one-sided in Iran’s favor. On Monday, he declared that he would be willing to meet Rouhani without preconditions to discuss how to improve relations.
The head of Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations said on Tuesday Tehran saw no worth in Trump’s offer, made only a week after he warned Iran it risked dire consequences few had ever suffered in history if it made threats against Washington. "Based on our bad experiences in negotiations with America and based on U.S. officials’ violation of their commitments, it is natural that we see no value in his proposal," Kamal Kharrazi was quoted as saying by the semi-official Fars news agency.
