Egypt says jihadist fighter arrested, search underway for 80 others
[IsraelTimes] Egyptian security officials say they arrested a suspected murderous Moslem and are pursuing 80 others in a province west of Cairo for plotting an imminent attack.

The officials say the home of 25-year-old Hammad Mohammed Shafei was raided in Senofar village in Fayoum province. They say he’s a member of the murderous Moslem Hasm group, which authorities have linked to the outlawed Moslem Brüderbund.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the matter with news hounds. They didn’t elaborate on the planned attack.

The Hasm group has been tied to a massive explosion earlier this month in Cairo, when a car filled with explosives crashed outside the county’s main cancer hospital, killing at least 20 people.

UAE warplanes bomb Saudi-backed troops in southern Yemen after new advance
[ALMASDARNEWS] The United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) air force carried out a series of Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s over southern Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
on Thursday, targeting a number of sites belonging to the Saudi-backed Islah forces.

According to reports from southern Yemen, the UAE air force bombed the Islah forces in the port-city of Aden and several surrounding areas.

The UAE air force reportedly killed and maimed several members of the Islah forces during their aerial attack over the Aden District on Thursday.

This attack by the UAE air force comes just hours after the Southern Movement forces captured the town of Zanjabar in the Abyan
...a governorate of Yemen. The region was a base to the Aden-Abyan Islamic Army terrorist group until it dropped the name and joined al-Qaeda. Its capital is Zinjibar. In March 2011, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula declared the governate an Islamic Emirate after seizing control of the region. The New York Times fastidiously reported that those in control, while Islamic hard boyz, are not in fact al-Qaeda, but something else that looks, tastes, smells, and acts the same. Yemeni government forces launched an effort to re-establish control of the region when President-for-Life Saleh was tossed and the carnage continues...

Tensions between the Saudi and UAE-backed forces are running high after the Islah Party captured Aden from the Southern Movement on Wednesday.

UAE-backed troops abandon Saudi-led battle against Ansarallah forces in northern Yemen
[ALMASDARNEWS] In a major development in northern Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
, the UAE-backed Southern Movement has withdrawn from the Saudi-led battle against the Ansarallah forces in the Sanaa, Marib, Jizan, and Hajjah governorates.

According to reports from northern Yemen, the Southern Movement made the decision to withdraw from this battle after Saudi-backed Islah forces captured Aden city in the southern part of the city on Wednesday.

Prior to the capture of Aden by the Islah forces, the Southern Movement had taken control of the city after a few days of fighting.

The Islah Party (var. al-Tajma’ al-Yemeni al-Islah) has been one of the main forces fighting the Ansarallah troops in northern Yemen; however, the Southern Movement has been providing much needed reinforcements to a number of fronts in this region of the country.

For the Ansarallah forces, this could be a turning point in several battles in northern Yemen, including the ongoing fight for the Nihm District of eastern Sana’a.

Mexico Seizes 52,000 Pounds of Fentanyl From China
[Epoch Times] The Mexican Navy in the Port of Cardenas discovered 52,000 pounds of fentanyl powder in a mismarked container from a Danish ship arriving from Shanghai, China.

The cargo manifest for the 40-foot ocean container stated that the powder content was 23,368 kilograms of inorganic calcium chloride, commonly used as an electrolyte in sports drinks, beverages, bottled water and as a non-sodium flavoring for pickles.

The Navy of Mexico intercepted the unloaded 40-foot container on Aug. 24, which originated from Shanghai, China and was bound for the Sinaloa Cartel home-base in Culiacan, 300 miles north of the port. According to local media, the Navy alerted customs authorities from the nearby City of Lazaro Cardenas. Samples collected from plain bulk-bags were taken to a laboratory that confirmed the powder was fentanyl.

Mexican Customs seized 931 sacks of the substance weighing about 25.75 tons. The total weight of the fentanyl powder seizure is preliminary, with authorities still evaluating the purity of fentanyl seized. But if the seizure is confirmed as pharmaceutical-grade fentanyl, it could be pressed into tens of millions of tablets.

Fentanyl synthetic-opioid was hailed as a wonder drug 50 years ago when it was approved as a more effective treatment than drip morphine for cancer patients’ pain. With four types of opioid receptors throughout the human body, pharmacological fentanyl is more effective attaching faster to all the receptors than the highest purity of illicit street-heroin.

#4  originated from Shanghai, China and was bound for the Sinaloa Cartel home-base in Culiacan

As buttoned down as China is, they had to be aware of this shipment. The powder is processed into pills in Mexico by the cartel and eventually smuggled into the U.S. to be distributed on the streets of the U.S. I hope the Chinese are being pressured by the U.S. to shut off their end. Is POTUS pressuring Mexico to interdict shipments and shut off the drugs coming from the cartels?

The Left, in the U.S., is pushing for "open borders" and unrestricted movement across the border. They are aggravating the problems of drugs and human trafficking. Got to wonder how the left is profiting from the movement of drugs and people. What are lefty politicians getting aside from boodle? A pox on all of them.

Firearms, 10K Rounds of Ammo Seized at Texas Border Crossing to Mexico
[BREITBART] Laredo Sector Customs and Border Protection officers seized a load of firearms and ammunition allegedly being smuggled into Mexico through a port of entry. The officers seized a total of seven firearms, eight magazines, and more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition.

Officers assigned to the Gateway to the Americas International Bridge observed a 2007 Chevrolet Impala approaching for a departure inspection. The officers referred the driver to a secondary station, according to Laredo Sector officials.

The officers conducted a K-9 search of the vehicle, followed by an intrusive physical search which revealed the cache of weapons and ammunition, CBP officials reported.
Operation Slow and Slightly Disgruntled™
"This type of incident highlights the dangers our CBP officers could face on any given day," said Port Director Albert Flores, Laredo Port of Entry. "This firearms and ammunition seizure is a direct reflection of our continuing commitment in keeping our community safe."

During the physical search, CBP officers discovered one Hi-Point .45 Caliber, one Diamondback 15 multi-caliber, one SCCY 9mm, one Smith and Wesson 39, one SHE 89 Caliber, one Springfield 45 ACP Compact, one Ruger .380 Auto, eight assorted firearm magazines, and 10,000 7.62x39mm rounds of ammunition and one .40 caliber bullet, the release stated.

The officers seized the firearms and associated gear with the vehicle. Officers also detained the suspect. The report provides no information about the identity, nationality, or immigration status of the driver.

It is likely the weapons and ammunition were being smuggled to cartel members on the Mexican side of the border. However,
today is that tomorrow you were thinking about yesterday...
officials did not disclose the motivation for the failed smuggling attempt. Possession of firearms or even a single round of ammunition is a serious offense in Mexico.

Colombia: Terrorist FARC Senators Launch ‘Guerrilla Struggle,’ Trashing Peace Deal
[BREITBART] FARC terrorist and Colombian Senator "Jesús Santrich," missing for over a month after being charged with large-scale cocaine trafficking, reemerged in a video Thursday morning announcing the Marxist group would return to violence despite the 2016 peace deal that put him in Congress.

Santrich appeared alongside another terrorist leader, "Iván Márquez," and a small group of gunnies in military fatigues to announce violence against the state in retaliation for the current government of President Iván Duque not living up to the commitments of the peace deal. Márquez was also offered a senate seat but rejected it after Santrich’s arrest.

FARC gunnies typically use noms de guerre in public.

Santrich disappeared in July after authorities charged him with attempting to smuggle 10,000 kilograms of cocaine into the United States, after agreeing to the peace deal with the Colombian government. Márquez, the terrorist group’s second-in-command, disappeared in 2018 after the first charges were levied against Santrich.

Santrich was arrested in April but controversially granted temporary freedom in May.

The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia
FARC or FARC-EP, is either a Marxist-Leninist revolutionary guerrilla organization or a drug cartel based in Colombia. It claims to represent the rural poor in a struggle against Colombia's wealthier classes, and opposes United States influence in Colombia, neo-imperialism, monopolization of natural resources by multinational corporations, and the usual raft of complaints. It funds itself principally through ransom kidnappings, taxation of the drug trade, extortion, shakedowns, and donations. It has lately begun calling itself Bolivarian and is greatly admired by Venezuela's President-for-Life Chavez, who seemingly fantasizes about living in the woods and kidnapping people himself. He provides FARC with safe areas along the border.
(FARC), a Marxist terrorist group behind most of the 260,000 dead at the hands of guerrillas in the past century, legally became a political party, the Revolutionary Alternative Common Force, following the 2016 deal. As their widespread killings, kidnappings, rapes, and forced child sacrifice abortions made them widely unpopular with the Colombian people, the FARC insisted on the government handing them unelected seats in Congress. Ten seats in the Colombian Senate currently belong to FARC terrorists, a fifth of which are now missing and engaging in terrorism

Europe
French Far-Right Activists Convicted over Alps Migrant Blockade
[AnNahar] A French court handed six-month jail terms to three members of a far-right group for erecting a blockade on an Alps mountain pass to try keep migrants colonists out.

On April 21, 2018, several dozen members of the Generation Identitaire (Generation Identity) group marched to the Echelle pass on the French-Italian border and unrolled a fence of plastic netting in the snow.

They also displayed a sign reading: "You will not make Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
home! NO WAY. Back to your homeland."

The group, which included Germans, Italians and Austrians as well as French activists, all wore blue padded jackets marked "Defend Europe" and were backed by two rented helicopters which scoured the area for migrants colonists.

The stunt caused outrage in La Belle France, where the group was accused of vigilantism.

Reacting to the blockade, a group of around 100 pro-migrant activists escorted some 30 migrants colonists across the mountain into La Belle France, sparking scuffles with police.

On Thursday, a court in the southeastern city of Gap sentenced the 24-year-old leader of Generation Identitaire, Clement Gandelin; his front man Romain Espino, 26; and 29-year-old activist Damien Lefevre to six-month jail terms for trying to pass themselves off as police.

They were also find 2,000 euros ($2,200) and stripped of certain rights, including the right to vote, for five years while their group was fined 75,000 euros.

The trio is unlikely to serve any jail time, as in La Belle France sentences shorter than two years are usually commuted to other types of punishment, such as community service.

Reacting defiantly on Twitter, Lefevre said he would wear what he called his "political" conviction like "a medal".

"The state has decided to persecute young French people who dare to symbolically and peacefully prove that defending our borders is possible," he wrote.

The winter of 2017-18 saw a spike in the number of migrants colonists, mostly Africans who had crossed the Mediterranean to Italia before slipping over mountain passes into La Belle France to avoid being detected by border police.

Shortly after its mountain foray, Generation Identitaire claimed to have handed over four "illegals" to police while providing information which led to the arrest of seven others that winter.

Pro-migrant groups reacted furiously after several activists who came to the assistance of migrants colonists were put on trial for helping them enter the country illegally.

French politicians later softened laws on so-called acts of solidarity with illegal migrants colonists.

Helping migrants colonists illegally cross the border remains a crime, however.

Iran sentences 2 men to long prison terms for 'spying for Israel’s Mossad'
[Ynet] Iran says one of the men traveled to Israel, was in touch with Mossad in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand; Dual national woman, formerly a British Council worker, also sentenced to prison time for allegedly spying on cultural activities in Iran

Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
on Tuesday said it sentenced three people ‐ one woman and two men ‐ to lengthy prison terms on security and spying charges. The men were convicted of spying for Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency.

Judiciary front man Gholamhossein Esmaili said in remarks broadcast on state TV that the convicted woman is Aras Amiri, who had worked for the British Council while allegedly spying on cultural activities in Iran. The British Council is a non-political organization that works in education, arts and culture.

Amiri has been placed in durance vile
... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not...
for the past year while her case was under investigation. She was sentenced to 10 years.

Esmaili identified one of the men as Anoush Ashoori, a dual British-Iranian national. He was sentenced to 12 years for ties to Mossad, as was Ali Johari. Ashoori was detained in Tehran in August 2017.

Johari allegedly passed on information about construction projects by a Revolutionary Guard-affiliated construction conglomerate, Khatam al-Anbia. Esmaili said Johari traveled to Israel and was in touch with Mossad in various countries including India, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office said in a Tuesday statement that it has been supportive of Ashoori’s family since his detention and the British Embassy in Tehran continues to request consular access.

"The treatment of all dual nationals detained in Iran is a priority and we raise their cases at the most senior levels. We urge Iran to let them be reunited with their families," the statement said.

The sentencing comes at a time of increased tensions between the U.S. and Iran over its unraveling nuclear deal with world powers, including Britannia. Though the British Embassy in Tehran has reopened, the British Council has been closed since 2009.

Another British-Iranian woman held in Tehran, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for allegedly planning the "soft toppling" of Iran’s government while traveling with her young daughter.

Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who works for the charity arm of Thomson Rooters, was arrested in April 2016. Her sentence has been widely criticized.

Iran does not recognize dual nationalities.

In Beirut, the Association of Banks in Lebanon voiced “regret” over the US move — while insisting all funds deposited with Jammal Trust Bank were safe and stressing the ability of the country’s central bank to remedy the situation if need be.

The Treasury, in partnership with the Arab nation of Oman, also sanctioned Mohammad Sarur, Kamal Abdelrahman Aref Awad and Fawaz Mahmud Ali Nasser for supporting Hamas.

Thursday’s action blocks any property or interests in property that the targets have within US jurisdiction. It also bans Americans from engaging in transactions with them and prohibits transactions involving them from moving through the United States.

Jihadists launch counter-offensive in southern Idlib
[ALMASDARNEWS] The jihadist rebels have launched a counter-offensive in southern Idlib this evening after suffering some losses at the hands of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) at the Ta’manah front.

Led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else
...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State...
, the jihadist rebels began their counter-assault by launching a suicide kaboom on the Syrian Arab Army’s positions at the southern axis of Ta’manah.

According to a military source in the nearby Hama Governorate, the jihadist rebels stormed the Syrian Army’s defenses shortly after the suicide attack; this resulted in a fierce firefight that is still ongoing at this time.

Tiger Forces renamed and placed under command of Syrian Army
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian military’s elite Tiger Forces have been renamed and placed under the command of the army’s central command, a communique said on Thursday.

According to the communique, the Tiger Forces have been renamed Division 25 Special Mission Forces.

Despite being renamed and put under the command of the military, the new division will retain their commander Major General Suheil al-Hassan and their other officers.

The Tiger Forces first emerged in the Syrian War during the Hama, Aleppo, and eastern Homs battles; they would prove to be one of the most effective units in the military.

Some of their notable operations include lifting the sieges on the Aleppo Central Prison and Deir Ezzor city, along with retaking East Ghouta, Khan Sheikhoun, east Aleppo, Palmyra, and al-Sukhneh.

As of now, the Division 25 Special Mission Forces are on the offensive at the key town of Ta’manah in southern Idlib.

If they are successful in taking control of Ta’manah, the Division 25 Special Mission Forces will likely be moved to the al-Ghaab Plain front, where they will help the Elite Republican Guard retake the northern part of this rural region.

Russian Air Force unleashes massive wave of strikes over Idlib
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Russian Air Force unleashed a massive wave of Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s over the murderous Moslem-held areas in the Idlib Governorate on Thursday.

Backed by the Syrian Air Force, the Russian jets launched several airstrikes over the southern region of Idlib, hitting a number of sites inside the towns of Ma’arat al-Nu’man, al-Tah, Maar Shamshmeh, Deir Sharqi, and Jarjanaz.

A source from the army said that while the Russian jets focused on the Ma’arat al-Nu’man front, the Syrian Air Force mostly concentrated their strikes on the al-Ta’manah front.

At the same time, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is storming the town of al-Ta’manah after seizing several points from the jihadist rebels last night.

Among the sites captured by the Syrian Army last night include the town of Khuwayn al-Kabir and the al-Ta’manah Farms.

This latest offensive by the Syrian Arab Army comes just days after the jihadist rebels from Rouse the Believers failed to advance at the nearby Tal Maraq axis.

Syrian Army enters strategic town in southern Idlib
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army has entered the strategic town of al-Ta’manah this afternoon, following a fierce battle with the jihadist forces in the area.

Led by the 25th Division Special Mission Forces (formerly the "Tiger Forces"), the Syrian Arab Army began their assault on al-Ta’manah last night, when their troops began storming the town’s surroundings.

Shortly after launching the attack, the Syrian Arab Army managed to score their first advances, as their troops captured the Ta’amanah Farms and the town of Khuwayn al-Kabir.

On Thursday morning, the Syrian Arab Army began their attack on the town itself; they would face heavy resistance from the jihadist rebels that were protecting al-Ta’amanah.

However,
a hangover is the wrath of grapes...
the main line of defense for the holy warriors would ultimately fold, paving the way for the Tiger Forces to enter the town this afternoon.

If the Syrian Army can take hold of al-Ta’manah and Khuwayn, they can ultimately secure the Hama-Idlib axis and the eastern flank of Khan Sheikhoun.

Khan Sheikhoun and northern Hama were captured during the Syrian Army’s large-scale attack last week. Since then, they have worked to secure this area in order to prevent future any future infiltration by the jihadist rebel forces.

OOPS! Satellite photos show burning Iran space center launch pad
Oops! Allan is not pleased
[Yahoo] A rocket at an Iranian space center that was to conduct a satellite launch criticized by the U.S. apparently exploded on its launch pad Thursday, satellite images show, suggesting the Islamic Republic suffered its third failed launch this year alone.

State media and officials did not immediately acknowledge the incident at the Imam Khomeini Space Center in Iran's Semnan province.

However, satellite images by Planet Labs Inc. showed a black plume of smoke rising above a launch pad there, with what appeared to be the charred remains of a rocket and its launch stand. In previous days, satellite images had shown officials there repainted the launch pad blue.

On Thursday morning, half of that paint apparently had been burned away.

"Whatever happened there, it blew up and you're looking at the smoldering remains of what used to be there," said David Schmerler, a senior research associate at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

Schmerler told The Associated Press that the images of the space center suggested that the rocket either exploded during ignition or possibly briefly lifted off before crashing back down on the pad. Water runoff from the pad, likely from trying to extinguish the blaze, could be seen along with a host of vehicles parked nearby.

NPR first reported on the satellite images of the apparent failed launch at the space center, some 240 kilometers (150 miles) southeast of Iran's capital, Tehran.
