[AlphaNewsMN] The White House Coronavirus Task Force coordinator told Minnesotans to wear masks in their houses and praised the (DFL Gov Walz the great) state for keeping in cold blood murdering our nursing home residents safe. Cause that will keep the people we share toilets with safe.
Dr. Deborah Birx, a top official on the White House Coronavirus Task Force, advised Minnesotans to wear masks inside their homes during a recent press conference in St. Paul.
"It really does come down to every Minnesotan following these common sense path[s] forward to ensure we protect each other, and really a lot of that pathway goes through wearing this mask not just in public but also in private if we need to protect others in the household," she told reporters Sunday after a meeting with officials from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Birx also said she discussed how Minnesotans need to "increase uptake of mitigations in households" during her recent conversation with Gov. Tim Walz. What does that even mean?
In addition to wearing masks inside, Birx said that "everybody should have their mask with them whenever they're outside." She later added that "we gain freedom from wearing our masks and social distancing." 1984 Animal Farm
Birx praised the Walz administration for approaching the coronavirus pandemic in a "data-driven way," claiming that Minnesota's approach "has really prevented a lot of nursing home residents from getting infected, and that's extraordinarily good." Proving she is in fact a complete liar. I do not say that lightly and here is why
1,340 of the state's 1,823 (73.5%) coronavirus-related deaths have occurred in long-term care or assisted living facilities, according to the Minnesota Department of Health as of September 1.

Who is paying this maroon fraud to tour the country, eat in our restaurants and chastise everyone?

Pretty sure the feds are paying this maroon fraud to lecture us. Unfortunately. What a fu**ing lunatic. Screw her and everybody who "thinks" like her.

When you elect and support awful people, you get awful results. If they can't acknowledge that reality, they have gotten what they deserve. Too bad. I won't cry for them when they're gone.

Allowing them to reopen would not be enough. To many high-paying jobs now work from home — and those workers have moved or will soon move far from the city — which means significantly fewer business lunches and dinners. Expensive restaurants need those expense report regulars; they can’t survive on birthday and anniversary celebrations, no matter how romantic.
The majority of them were doomed as soon as President Trump signed off on ending the state income tax write-off. Without that equalizer, high income New Yorkers started to leave — the coronavirus lockdown just accelerated the trend.
[YNet] - The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has asked state public health officials to prepare to distribute a potential coronavirus vaccine to high-risk groups as soon as late October, documents published by the agency showed on Wednesday.
The timing of a vaccine has taken on political importance as U.S. President Donald Trump seeks re-election in November, after committing billions of federal dollars to develop a vaccine to prevent COVID-19, which has killed more than 180,000 Americans.
"For the purpose of initial planning, CDC provided states with certain planning assumptions as they work on state specific plans for vaccine distribution, including possibly having limited quantities of vaccines in October and November," a CDC spokeswoman told Reuters.
[HOTAIR] Former Vice President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing... and his wife, Jill Biden, will visit Kenosha on Thursday as tensions simmer in the city following the shooting of a Black man by a white police officer and the deaths of two people protesting his shooting by an armed teenager.
Biden’s visit to Wisconsin comes just two days after President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... toured the destructive aftermath of the shooting of Jacob Blake, who was shot seven times in the back by a police officer as he was trying to get into a vehicle. ...
"Vice President Biden will hold a community meeting in Kenosha to bring together Americans to heal and address the challenges we face," his campaign said in a release. "After, Vice President Biden and Dr. Biden will make a local stop."
What makes this particularly transparent as a political cover-your-a** operation is that Biden had first apparently decided against a Kenosha visit. And after Trump decided to pay the city a visit, Biden’s senior campaign adviser went on CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... yesterday morning to claim that Biden was taking the high road by staying away.

The Dems have a debate and a candidate problem. Maybe they can get that sign language guy that interpreted what Obama was saying while Obama was in Africa a few years back.

Pelosi might not think the virus is a hoax, but she sure as heck wasn't worried about getting it from the person doing her hair, either. A lot of the things we're told we can't do and that will kill millions if we're allowed to do normally are fine, and that is perhaps the most frustrating, infuriating thing about this entire situation. The virus is real, the dead are real. But as with global warming, I'll take it seriously when the people preaching to me take it seriously, and not a single moment sooner. And they haven't been taking seriously since the very beginning, if you've been paying attention.

My mother's elderly community has a salon in the building. I'm surprised Congress doesn't have something similar. They have a gym, why not care for the old peoples hair?

^ Congress prob'y has a fridge there as well. But not big and expensive enough for Skanky Nan, Wicked Witch of the West & Wannabe Oligarch. She needs her own (2) Viking Fridge(s) and her own private non-compliant illegal hair salon

California revenge. By people whose votes are not counted in a rigged West Coast Dimrat voting system and they will never allow even 1 Republican or Independent win an election.

Well, what goes around comes around. As some of these big corporations bend the knee and flap open the wallet to BLM, they get the back of the hand. When they have to close locations and profits go down the danegeld will dry up. Virtuous circle.

I'd add, if the BLM thing was really being run top down, it seems the big contributors would get a pass on having their stores looted, but it just doesn't seem to be happening that way.

Cost of doing business in San Francisco. Stealing a thousand dollars or less is now a misdemeanor in California and since there is no room in the jails for all the misdemeanors, they are released. It isn't just the hoodie hoodlums. Homeless freaks know they can rip off the corner store and sell the loot for their next fix. Cops don't even bother responding to calls about it because they know the perps will be back on the street before they can finish their arrest reports.

#7, problem with that concept it that it takes the political and bureaucratic middle men and women out of the redistribution system. When loss to theft becomes a tax write off, the state's cut goes down.
[AmMilitaryNews] Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced on Monday that the DC Facilities and Commemorative Expressions (DCFACES) Working Group had submitted a final report and recommendations for the possible removal or relocation of historical monuments in the city.
DCFACES’ report urged Bowser to use her position on the National Capital Memorial Advisory Commission to "recommend the Federal government remove, relocate, or contextualize" nine federal monuments. The monuments include the Christopher Columbus Fountain, Benjamin Franklin Statue, Andrew Jackson Statue, Jefferson Memorial, George Mason Memorial, Newlands Memorial Fountain, Albert Pike Statue, George Washington Statue, and Washington Monument.
The group also said three federally-owned monuments in the city are categorized as "a person of concern" warranting further review and decisions. Such a descriptor is given to legacy monuments named for figures "whose life stories may have conflicted with the values of the residents of the District of Columbia today," the group’s report said.
The report also identified 150 other city-owned assets, from schools to buildings, parks, roads, neighborhoods, and more.
DCFACES was tasked with assessing city-owned facilities and recommending any actions that "need to be taken if the person the facility is named for is inconsistent with DC values and in some way encouraged the oppression of African Americans and other communities of color or contributed to our long history of systemic racism."
Bowser has previously said she would use the recommendations to guide her decisions.
On Tuesday night, the White House condemned Muriel and the DCFACES plan.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said, "By publishing a plan that recommends potentially removing the Washington Monument, Christopher Columbus Statue, Andrew Jackson Statue, and Jefferson Memorial — among many other ludicrous recommendations — the radically liberal mayor of Washington, D.C., is repeating the same left-wing narrative used to incite dangerous riots: demolishing our history and destroying our great heritage."
"President Donald J. Trump believes these places should be preserved, not torn down; respected, not hated; and passed on for generations to come," McEnany added.
"As long as President Trump is in the White House, the mayor’s irresponsible recommendations will go absolutely nowhere, and as the mayor of our Nation’s capital city — a city that belongs to the American people — she ought to be ashamed for even suggesting them for consideration," McEnany said.

I vote that most of DC be returned to Maryland, just like Arlington was returned to Virginia.
Leave the Federal triangle; the rest goes to Maryland.
At least that will stop the residents from whining about taxation without representation. I didn't vote for the sales tax on a DC hotel room, but I still have to pay it.
