[NYPOST] One of two teens accused of pushing a 74-pound log off a cliff that killed a mother of four at an Ohio state park has pleaded guilty.
Jaden W. Churchheus, 17, pleaded guilty Wednesday in a Hocking County court to involuntary manslaughter in the September 2019 death of 44-year-old Victoria Schafer, the Columbus Dispatch reports.
Churchheus and another teen, 17-year-old Jordan Buckley, pushed the six-foot-plus log off a cliff at the Old Man’s Cave in Hocking Hills State Park, killing Schafer, who was taking photos below on Labor Day, Sherlocks from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources have said.
Two other charges Churchheus had faced — murder and reckless homicide — were dropped as part of a plea agreement, the newspaper reports.
Schafer, who ran a photography business in nearby Chillicothe, was killed almost instantly, WBNS reports.

[PAGESIX] Jerry Harris, the disgraced star of Netflix docuseries "Cheer," admitted to authorities that he exchanged sexually-explicit photos and videos with underage boys and repeatedly solicited them to hook up in person, according to a disturbing criminal complaint.
The allegations against Harris — arrested Thursday on federal child-pornography charges — are laid out in the 28-page complaint and illustrated by disturbing text and social-media exchanges.
"Do it naked and take a video and show me," Harris, 21, allegedly wrote to one teen boy on Snapchat — punctuating the message with a winking emoji — in response to a photo of the youth performing a cheerleading position known as the needle.
Despite the boy telling him that he was just 13-years-old, Harris also allegedly requested pictures of his "face ... and booty" in a separate exchange, according to prosecutors at the US Attorney’s Office in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... The youth eventually relented to the advances, sending images of his private areas to Harris, who reciprocated with explicit images of his own, including one of him masturbating, authorities allege.
At a cheerleading camp held in Feb. 2019, Harris allegedly tried to entice the boy into performing oral sex on him in a bathroom, but the youth refused, the complaint continues.
Harris is also accused of making similar overtures to the boy’s twin brother, including sending him a Snapchat message that read, "Would you ever want to ****[?]"
That teen told authorities that he interpreted the stars to mean "f—k" — and Harris admitted that that was his intent under questioning, the complaint states.
Harris is thus far charged with one count of producing child pornography, even though he allegedly "admitted to soliciting and receiving child pornography on Snapchat from at least between 10 to 15 other individuals he knew were minors," according to the complaint.

Anyone still have questions on why the Liberal-Socialist-Democrat states and the Media have recently pushed to promoted legalized pedophilia, by using the new expanded age gap rules?
Seriously as much as the extreme immoral elements are being praised and/or promoted in the Media, one has to wonder if a large number of media reporters are their fellow cohorts in these Sexual activities.
Note: I did not even bother to wonder about Liberal-Socialist-Democrat Politicians. We know sex and 2 legs is their only requirement. Some might argue 2 or 4 legs...
[NYPOST] An Oregon couple forced to flee their home because of the raging wildfires soon faced a second heartbreak — as they helplessly watched looters breaking in on their home video surveillance system.
No clarification of whether the looters are regular criminals or Antifa/BLM taking advantage of a created emergency to take down the system a bit more...
Tracy and Marvin Johnson told KOIN 6 News how the Unger Fire had already destroyed a two-mile hiking trail in Beavercreek that they had opened days earlier after spending eight years building.
Firefighters managed to save their home despite the blaze coming within feet of it — just for looters to break in despite an evacuation order in the area, they told the station.
"Our Nest cam came on and told us that there was movement and we could see the lights pull up into our driveway," Marvin Johnson said.
"We saw the door open and could hear people inside the house talking."
They called the police but the looters had already fled by the time they got there. Thankfully the thieves didn’t appear to have taken off with too much, the couple said.
The home is in Clackamas County, where the sheriff’s office told the station there have been 13 arrests in the evacuation areas, including some for burglary, criminal trespass and possession of burglary tools.
Many in the Beaver State have even put up warning signs — some reading "You loot, we shoot" — while others have armed themselves as they set up roadblocks barring entry to evacuation zones.
One Oregon woman also went viral after video showed her pulling a gun on a suspected intruder who she feared was planning to start fires.

One can respect the ability, drive and effort to ascend to the most prestigious legal post in our Republic. I can also feel contempt for her partisan abuse of her office by not retiring Years ago.
#5
I hope her passing will be treated with respect.
There are idiots on both sides who will say idiotic things, European Conservative. But she worked hard until the end, and while I did not agree with all her positions, she held her own in the most demanding arena we have.
How fortunate that President Trump has a list of contenders ready made for this moment, and in Senator Mitch McConnell a partner ready to move on the nomination quickly.

Where will Sotomayor, Breyer, Kagen, and Kennedy get their lockstep marching orders now? OMG! Who will write their opinions for them???!?

Democrats will fight tooth and nail to prevent confirmation of her replacement until after the election. Expect every dirty trick in the book. But if the election goes south for Republicans, a new justice could be our only hope.

You can almost add Roberts to that list, Frank. Roberts is just pathetic.

There's enough time to fill the seat. But I'm not sure what impact this will have on the elections. The process could put both sides on steroids.
May Mitch McConnell will prefer a lame duck Senate for the confirmation process. Some Republican senators might not along with him if they see their reelection going down the drain. Think Collins.

It is heartening to see the decency and respect paid to her long tenure. For my part, suffice it to say it is tragically poignant that she has been called to 'perform the same tasks to the same standards as men'. Karma has a very, very long johnson.

They can fight, but they don’t have the numbers to make anything happen. And Mitch McConnell has yet to surrender to the claim that decency requires him to give them their way.
#13
McConell won't get more than 50 votes (Collins, Murkowski & Romney not among them) and it would only take one other to abstain to block confirmation; I'm sure there is one somewhere.

If you think the fight over Brett Kavanaugh's nomination was rough, you ain't seen nothing yet. This confirmation fight will make that one look like a kindergarten slap fight.

RBG, should have retired for health reasons long ago. Same reasons I'm saying Justice Thomas should consider retiring if the rumors about his health are true.
RBG, I hope you realize now when you meet your maker, just how big an error you made on Abortion.
As for the GOP senators? RINOS. Especially Murkowski who needs to be primaried and smeared HARD for being a squish, and Romney primaried for being a mega squish and an accomplice for obstruction by liberals on so many things.
Collins is what she is because of her electorate. But Utah and Alaska are not Maine. Get them out of there and put in a real conservative.
If I was Trump, I would put a woman of color squish up for the nomination to replace her. He still has 2-3 picks next term and a lefty squish nomination would blow the left and the MSM's mind.
[IsraelTimes] The US federal government outlines a sweeping plan to make vaccines for COVID-19 available for free to all Americans, even as polls show a strong undercurrent of skepticism rippling across the land.
In a report to Congress and an accompanying "playbook" for states and localities, federal health agencies and the Defense Department sketch out complex plans for a vaccination campaign to begin gradually in January or possibly later this year, eventually ramping up to reach any American who wants a shot. The Pentagon is involved with the distribution of vaccines, but civilian health workers will be the ones giving shots.
The campaign is "much larger in scope and complexity than seasonal influenza or other previous outbreak-related vaccination responses," says the playbook for states from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Among the highlights:
• For most vaccines, people will need two doses, 21 to 28 days apart. Double-dose vaccines will have to come from the same drugmaker. There could be several vaccines from different manufacturers approved and available.
• Vaccination of the US population won’t be a sprint but a marathon. Initially there may be a limited supply of vaccines available, and the focus will be on protecting health workers, other essential employees, and people in vulnerable groups. The National Academy of Medicine is working on priorities for the first phase. A second and third phase would expand vaccination to the entire country.
• The vaccine itself will be free of charge, and patients won’t be charged out of pocket for the administration of shots, thanks to billions of dollars in taxpayer funding approved by Congress and allocated by the Trump administration.
• States and local communities will need to devise precise plans for receiving and locally distributing vaccines, some of which will require special handling such as refrigeration or freezing. States and cities have a month to submit plans.
Some of the broad components of the federal plan have already been discussed, but Wednesday’s reports attempt to put the key details into a comprehensive framework. Distribution is happening under the umbrella of Operation Warp Speed, a White House-backed initiative to have millions of doses ready to ship once a vaccine is given what’s expected to be an emergency use approval by the Food and Drug Administration. Several formulations are undergoing final trials.

[WashingtonExaminer] Conservative radio host Dan Bongino has acquired an equity stake in the online video-sharing platform Rumble with hopes of competing with YouTube by establishing a platform where free speech is protected.
"We need a home," Bongino told the Washington Examiner in an exclusive interview. "We need somewhere to go where conservative views won't be discriminated against." Bongino, who has 600K subscribers on YouTube, says 80% of his daily episodes of The Dan Bongino Show have been demonetized for its conservative content. "I'm sick of it, and I wanted to do something about it."
Launched in 2013, Rumble "provides video creators a way host, manage, distribute, create over-the-top feeds and monetize their content," according to its website.
On Monday, Bongino plans on posting The Dan Bongino Show exclusively to Rumble before uploading it to his YouTube channel. As of September, The Dan Bongino Show is the 12th most popular podcast on Apple Podcasts, according to podcastinsights.com.
"YouTube is crushing conservative voices. I'm not going to sit around and take their bullshit anymore," Bongino said Wednesday. "They think alienating & discriminating against major content producers is a long-term business plan. It’s not. I’ll have a big announcement about this fight on my show tomorrow."
Putting his money where his mouth is has become a habit for the conservative firebrand. His Rumble venture follows his successful launch of The Bongino Report in 2019, which came as a response to the recent liberal shift at The Drudge Report, which was once the premier conservative news aggregation site.
"The launch was incredible. I don’t know any other way to say it," he told the Wrap about the December launch, adding that the traffic spike forced him to upgrade his server. "By noon it just exploded, and by the evening it was nuclear. Traffic never really slowed down."
In June of this year, Bongino announced a partnership with the social media networking service Parler in response to censorship of conservative ideas and accounts on Twitter.
For Bongino, however, exploiting underserved markets isn't about the money, it's about giving conservatives a medium to share ideas and news that Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube censor. In a highly competitive market, and with a large, active following on social media, Bongino never shies away from using his following to drive traffic to his competitors.
"I’ve decided it’s time to fight back against the Tech Tyrants," Bongino said about the Parler move. "I’m beyond fed up with the censorship and bias of Twitter and Facebook, and I’m not going to stand back and watch as they target us. As a result, I’ve taken an ownership stake in Parler, the hottest social media alternative in the market right now." Next President of the US sometime after Trump.

The problem is that as soon as you declare a free speech space, it gets flooded with people who were banned for good reasons. The mentally ill ranters, the political weirdos, TERF feminists. These freaks scare off the normal people any site needs to be successful. The normies take one look at the content on the front page and close the tab, horrified.

Now, BP you disappoint me. I don't expect much from some of our fellow 'burgers. But, you should be able to use the above numbers to estimate that the annual business bankruptcy rate >> 1.7%.
x(t) = x(0)*exp(- a*t) ==>
a = {ln[x(0)]-ln[x(t)]}/t

Yes. Remember George McGovern's (!) comments after he was out of office and tried to start a small business. He had no idea government made it so difficult.
How nice it would be to require 10-15 years in the private sector, preferably as a small businessman, before people could run for office.

[IsraelTimes] The owners of a number of Tel Aviv bars have declared their businesses to be synagogues, in protest of government lockdown plans that will prevent all bars and restaurants from operating during the closure, while allowing dozens to take part in prayers at synagogues throughout the country during the High Holidays.
Channel 12 news reports on two Tel Aviv establishments, Kiton and Shishko, that have put up placards declaring them to be places of worship. The report notes that the two bars are currently treating the act as one of protest and satire and are not planning to rebel against government restrictions at this time — though they also aren’t entirely ruling it out.
Elad Dor, owner of Shishko, tells the network: "Does it sound reasonable to you that you can bring 100 people into a synagogue, and I, who have a restaurant for 300 people can’t let even 30 people in? Does that really make sense to you?
"And does it sound reasonable that supermarkets won’t have gatherings? And convenience shops can open, and yesterday they said [Jerusalem’s] Mahane Yehuda Market can open? Give me a break."

A commercially available nasal antiseptic solution "inactivates" COVID-19 just 15 seconds after the coronavirus is exposed to it, effectively preventing the infection from developing, according to a study published Thursday by JAMA Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
By inactivating the virus, the antiseptic nasal rinse -- a povidone-iodine solution administered in the nostril -- also would help prevent those infected from spreading it to others, the researchers said.
...The findings are based on lab experiments designed to assess how the rinse affects new coronavirus cells "in vitro," or in test tubes.
Researchers have yet to study the rinse in humans with COVID-19, although a small phase 4 clinical trial is scheduled to start in October. The only question is when to take it?
