"They killed my young son, I did not have the money for his burial," said Abdullah, another Afghan man who lost his son in fighting in Alishing.

Also last week, the Taliban took over a police checkpoint in Alishing. Eventually, Afghan commandos were sent to the area to clear it of the Taliban krazed killers.

The victim’s brother Obaidullah said that he saw his brother get shot.
Rohullah’s father says that the Taliban killed his son just because he showed kindness to the soldiers.

[AlAhram] The Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... -based interior ministry said in a statement it had arrested the three suspects in the case, adding that they had used petrol to set the victim on fire at a factory
Three Libyans killed a Nigerian man by setting him on fire in Tripoli, the interior ministry said on Wednesday, in what a UN agency described as "another senseless crime against migrants colonists in the country".
The Tripoli-based interior ministry said in a statement it had arrested the three suspects in the case, adding that they had used petrol to set the victim on fire at a factory.
Federico Soda, Libya country chief for the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), a UN migration agency, said those responsible must be held accountable.
There are half a million migrants colonists in Libya according to IOM, some of them having worked in the oil producing country before it descended into chaos and warfare, others attempting to travel through it to Europe.
The IOM and the UN refugee agency UNHCR have both repeatedly said that Libya should not be classified as a safe port for migrants colonists.
Thousands have attempted the perilous sea crossing to Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... this year, with hundreds drowned in ship wrecks.
In July, three migrants colonists from Sudan were rubbed out by Libyan authorities while trying to flee detention after they were disembarked in Khums.
In May, some 30 mostly Bangladeshi migrants colonists were rubbed out in a southern desert town after being kidnapped by a local gang, Bangladesh and the Libyan interior ministry said at the time.
[AnNahar] Morocco on Monday arrested four suspects allegedly linked to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group who were plotting "dangerous and imminent terrorist" attacks, the judicial police said.
The four Moroccan men, all in their 20s, were detained in the northern city of Tangiers during a raid in which police fired warning shots, the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) said in a statement.
They were planning to "destabiliئe security in the kingdom... through terrorist methods inspired by operations" carried out by IS jihadists in Syria and Iraq, the statement added.
Bladed weapons and electronic equipment were also seized, it said.
In September, authorities said they had dismantled an IS-linked cell and arrested five men accused of preparing suicide kabooms against prominent figures and a security headquarters in Morocco.
At the time, BCIJ head Abdelhak Khiame told AFP in an interview that IS has "developed" in the Sahel-Sahara region due to conflict in Libya and in countries like Mali, which he said were unable to "control their security" situations.
"Terrorist cells and terrorism are growing in the region, but also organized crime networks, drug trafficking, (and of) weapons and human beings," he said.
"All of this... makes the Sahel region ... North Africa's answer to the Pak tribal areas... , in my opinion, a time bomb."
The Sahel covers western and north-central Africa.
[AnNahar] Tunisia on Tuesday arrested two men allegedly linked to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group who were plotting "terrorist operations" in the North African nation, the interior ministry said.
One was arrested in Jendouba, in northwest Tunisia, and the other in Kebili, in the south. One of the suspects was already known to the security services.
The two men appeared before a judge in Tunis, and were remanded in jug.
Tunisia, since its 2011 revolution, has been hit by a string of jihadist attacks that have killed dozens of security personnel, civilians and foreign tourists.
On September 6, assailants rammed a patrol of the National Guard with a vehicle before stabbing the officers, killing one.
Police then gave chase and three attackers were rubbed out in the ensuing gun-battle.
The Islamic State group grabbed credit.
Tunisia is under a state of emergency, but the authorities say they have made significant progress in stopping attacks.
[AnNahar] Clashes between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces have displaced half of the population of the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh region, an official said on Wednesday, as Azerbaijan announced it would meet international mediators in Geneva.
Intermittent shelling by Azerbaijan's forces has turned Stepanakert into a ghost town dotted with unwent kaboom! munitions and shell craters.
Much of Stepanakert's 50,000-strong population has left, with those remaining hunkering down in cellars.
"According to our preliminary estimates, some 50 percent of Karabakh's population and 90 percent of women and kiddies -- or some 70,000-75,000 people -- have been displaced," Karabakh's rights ombudsman Artak Beglaryan told AFP Wednesday.
Azerbaijan has accused Armenian forces of shelling civilian targets in urban areas, including its second-largest city of Ganja.
Dozens of civilians have been confirmed killed in the fighting and the Armenian side has acknowledged more than 300 military deaths. Azerbaijan has not admitted to any fatalities among its troops.
Azerbaijani prosecutors said 427 dwellings populated by roughly 1,200 people had been destroyed.
But Le Drian, speaking to the French parliament, accused Azerbaijan of initiating the current conflict and lamented "the large number of civilian victims for the sake of meagre progress" on the ground.
Nagorno-Karabakh broke away from Azerbaijan in a 1990s war that claimed the lives of some 30,000 people. The Armenian separatists declared independence.
The region's 140,000 inhabitants are now almost exclusively Armenians after the remaining Azerbaijanis left in the 1990s war.

This is why George Soros put so much money into local prosecutor races. He knew this day of lawlessness and riots was coming, and wanted to be sure his rioters would get released to cause more damage. One must admire this sort of forward planning.

What's this "needle"? What's this swift sword"? What's the matter with drawing and quartering for pete's sake? It worked very well for many years and I don't see why it wouldn't work now.
Clashes in the Syrian Desert between pro-government forces and holdouts of the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group have killed at least 90 combatants this month, a war monitor said on Wednesday.
Russian aircraft carried out strikes in support of their Syrian regime ally, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
The festivities broke out in two separate areas of the vast desert that separates the Orontes valley in the west from the Euphrates valley in the east.
The government side lost 41 dead, the jihadists 49, the Britannia-based war monitor said.
At least 10 government loyalists and 13 IS jihadists were killed over the past 24 hours alone, Observatory head Rami Abdul Rahman said.
"IS is trying to prove that it is still strong," he added.
Mobile IS units have remained active in the Syrian Desert, known in Arabic as the Badia, since the jihadists lost the last shred of its self-proclaimed caliphate in March last year.
September festivities killed 13 pro-government fighters and 15 jihadists, while in early July 20 pro-government fighters and 31 jihadists were killed over two days.
In August, IS claimed an attack, presumably mounted from the desert, that killed a Russian general near the Euphrates valley city of Deir Ezzor.
