Olde England. A cute seaside dorf.
His Majesty, down by the wharf,
Addresses Miss Griffith,

"And that's how I came by this scarf."

"So, Gordon," a Negro bass boomed,
"I'm sorry, old boy, but you're doomed
To be gutted and groomed,
Stuffed and wrapped and perfumed...
Or just drug to New York and en-Tombed."

[AnNahar] Algerian security forces have arrested thousands of migrants colonists and asylum seekers, cramming them onto trucks and buses before expelling them across the border in Niger, Human Rights Watch said Friday.
"Algeria is entitled to protect its borders, but not to arbitrarily detain and collectively expel migrants colonists, including children and asylum seekers, without a trace of due process," HRW said.
Over 3,400 migrants colonists have been expelled in the past month, HRW said in a statement issued in Beirut.
It brings the total number expelled this year to over 16,000, the watchdog added, basing its calculations on reports from aid groups in Niger.
Around a half of those are Nigerien, but include people from at least 20 nationalities.
Landlocked Niger is on a key cross-Saharan route for African migrants colonists trying to reach the Mediterranean and then cross to Europe.
"They pushed us into the desert and left us there, saying, 'This is the way to Niger,'" Abdul, from Sierra Leone, told HRW.
Others told the rights group that police seized people's belongings before dropping them in the desert in the baking heat.
"They told us, 'You came to Algeria with nothing, and you will leave with nothing,'" said a 28-year-old man from Ivory Coast, HRW reported.
Algeria has carried out waves of deportations in recent years, including an estimated 25,000 to Niger in 2018, and another 25,000 in 2019, HRW added.
There was no immediate response from the government in Algiers.

[MAIL] Jay-Z has posted bond for the mother of 17-year-old Alvin Cole and several protesters who were arrested in Wisconsin on Thursday after authorities declined to charge the officer who fatally shot the teen.
The star rapper and Team Roc, the social justice leg of Roc Nation, paid court fees for Tracy Cole and her daughters Taleavia, Tristiana and Tadudah. They also paid court fees for several others arrested at the Wauwatosa protest, CBS News reports.
According to the group, Tracy was injured during the arrest, citing 'excessive force' from the police officers.
'Our hearts break for the family of Alvin Cole and the Wauwatosa community. Not only did the District Attorney's Office fail to hold Officer Joseph Mensah accountable for killing Alvin, but the local police also arrested and injured Alvin's mother Tracy and his sisters as they peacefully protested alongside Jacob Blake's father,' said Dania Diaz, executive director for Team Roc.

[IsraelTimes] Military had stayed silent on fate of man since Monday incident; last month Israel said it would stop returning bodies of any Paleostinians killed in anti-Israeli attacks.
The Israeli military said Friday it was holding the body of a Paleostinian rubbed out in a West Bank clash earlier this week, ending days of uncertainty over his fate.
The announcement follows a policy change last month in which Israel said it would not return the bodies of any Paleostinian killed during or as a result of an anti-Israeli attack.
The policy aims both to prevent celebratory funerals in attackers’ hometowns and to potentially use them in negotiations to retrieve the bodies of Israeli soldiers held by terror groups.
On Monday, 27-year-old Paleostinian Samir Hamidi was killed by Israeli soldiers near the northern West Bank settlement of Einav after the military said he threw Molotov cocktails at soldiers.
"Troops spotted three assailants who hurled Molotov cocktails at them," the army said Monday. "The troops responded with fire and identified hitting one of the assailants."
At the time, the military had not mentioned Hamidi was killed, but his death was then reported by Paleostinian media. On Friday, the IDF named him.
"The body of the terrorist is being held by the IDF according to existing procedures, until a decision is made in accordance with the guidance from elected officials on the issue of holding the bodies of terrorists," the IDF statement added.
The family of Hamidi, from the village of Beit Lid, close to the Israeli settlement at Einav, has refused to receive condolence visits until his body is returned.
Security coordination between Israel and the Paleostinian Authority has been at a standstill since May, in protest over Israel’s plans at the time to annex parts of the West Bank, a move since suspended.
Paleostinian government front man Ibrahim Melhem told AFP that in "the absence of any coordination," they were told of Hamidi’s death by the International Committee of the Red Thingy.
In early September, Israel said it would withhold the bodies of all slain Paleostinian assailants. Prior to the decision, Israel retained only the bodies of those from Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,, the Islamist terror group that rules Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... At the time, Defence Minister Benny Gantz said the policy change was part of a broader campaign of deterrence.
[Jpost] Some 5,000 residents of Nof HaGalil were reportedly forced to evacuate their homes.
Multiple fires broke out in multiple areas across Israel on Friday, with thousands of residents force to evacuate their homes. While most fires are believed to have been caused due to extreme heat conditions, officials in the Israeli security establishment raised concerns that some fires in the West Bank were the result of deliberate arson by Paleostinian individuals.
IDF soldiers were recruited to help wildfire containment efforts and evacuate citizens from residential areas of the country that were under threat.
Friday morning, around 25 fire teams including volunteers, were called to the area of Kfar HaOranim, located near Modi'in Illit to contain wildfires in the area, which engulfed a number of houses. Air support also arrived, and rescue services requested that residents of the village evacuate.
The amount of emergency service workers were not enough, and a request was sent for more fire teams and air support in addition to teams already at the scene. The fire department released a statement that read: "There is no control over the fire."
Police arrived to the scene for the purpose of evacuating people from their homes, and a special unit was opened to coordinate all arriving security and aide forces.
Later Friday afternoon, IDF soldiers from the Ephraim Regional Brigade were recruited to help contain the wildfire and continue evacuation efforts, and the area underwent an assessment by commander of the brigade, Col. Yiftach Norkin.
Meanwhile, ...back at the precinct house, Don Calamari's lawyer was getting even redder in the face... another wildfire broke out near the village of Umm-al-Qutuf and another near the village of Umm al-Fahm.
The Islamic Movement in Israel and the Joint List party established throughout the day an emergency center for providing support to victims of the fires spreading across the area of Nazareth. The center will focus on providing accommodations for residents whose homes were damaged.
On Friday evening Israeli media reported that officials in the Israeli security establishment have raised concerns pointing at the possibility of some of the fires in the West Bank breaking out as a result of deliberate arson by Paleostinian individuals.
Efforts are being made to locate any involved suspects.
Joint List leader MK Ayman Odeh addressed the nationwide fires and the reports indicating Paleostinian responsibility, blaming the government for neglecting its firefighting services.
"The fires in northern Israel today, just like the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... , do not differentiate between Jews and Arabs," Odeh tweeted on Friday. "Before the defense establishment chooses to falsely blame Paleostinians, as they have in the past - the government should stop and see how it simply neglected its fire and rescue services, despite increased instances of fires breaking out in recent years."
