Yikes, totally missed that. Suddenly seems (in memory, anyway) like giant clams lurked in every late show and Saturday morning cartoon. Subtle, huh?

"A visit." Amphibius scribit,
"The neighbouring apes on exhibit.
Suspect them of thought,
For the weather was hot
And one quite clearly vocalised, 'Rrribbit!'
Whereupon the rest screeched incomprehensibly for several seconds. Mere accident? Mindless mimicry? Or did she ad-lib it?"
[KhaamaPress] Afghan National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... , announced the capture of 10 ISIS and Haqqani affiliated members in connection to an liquidation attempt on Amrullah Saleh, First vice president.
NDS stated, that 10 members belonging to ISIK and Haqqani were arrested with the suicide kaboom on first Vice president Amrullah Saleh, and were planning to carry out attacks on other prominent figures in the country.
The terrorist affiliated members are detained in a series of complex operations.
Attack on the first VP on sept 9 left 10 people dead and 31 other maimed.
The attack on Saleh happened when he was on his way to his office on September 9. The attack left over 20 others maimed.
It was the second time that Saleh has survived an attack.
On July 27, 2019, the office of the political movement, Green Trend, which Saleh heads, was attacked while Saleh was meeting with about 100 members of the group. It happened the day before the presidential election campaign started in the country. It left over 20 people dead and over 50 maimed.
At least four attackers were involved in the siege which started with a boom-mobileing around 4:40 pm Kabul time on Sunday. It targeted the Green Trend office, a political movement run by Mr. Saleh, in Shaheed Circle in Kabul’s PD4, in an area surrounded by civilian houses, a university, and a small township.
[ToloNews] At least seven non-combatants were killed in two explosions in Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... and Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... provinces, local officials and the Defense Ministry said.
A roadside kaboom blast that hit a passenger bus in Gereshk district, Helmand province, on Saturday morning, left five civilians dead and nine others maimed, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The mine was planted by the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... , the Defense Ministry said.
According to TOLOnews’ Abdullah Hamim, the 601 Highway in Helmand that connects Lashkargah city with the Kandahar-Herat highway is also closed to traffic over the last two days due to damaged roads and bridges. The roads, security officials said, have been damaged by the Taliban.
In a similar incident on Friday evening, a passengers’ bus hit a roadside kaboom in Herat-Kandahar highway in Shindand district, Herat province, killing two civilians and wounding 10 others, according to Herat Public Health Directorate’s front man Mohammad Rafiq Shirzai.
Shirzai said that women and kiddies are also among those maimed in the blast.
Jailani Farhad, front man for Herat governor, said the mine was planted by the Taliban.
[AlAhram] A Libyan gang is holding hostage at least 60 migrants colonists, including two dozen children, in "appalling"' conditions after abducting them almost two weeks ago, an aid group said on Saturday.
Masked faceless myrmidons kidnapped the migrants colonists on Sept. 28 from the town of al-Ajaylat, around 80 kilometers west of the capital, Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... , according to Medecins Sans Frontieres. The statement said that the gang initially took hostage around 350 migrants colonists, mainly from West Africa, but that most of the migrants colonists managed to escape while some others were released.
The aid group said that it had notified the Libyan government's agency for combatting illegal migration two days after the abduction, and later visited the warehouse where the migrants colonists were held.
``We found over 350 women, children, and men sleeping on the ground in appalling living conditions without access to water, showers, or toilets,'' said Guillaume Baret, MSF's head of mission in Libya.
The militia stole valuable items and identification documents from the migrants colonists, before taking them to a warehouse guarded by gunnies in the nearby coastal city of Sabratha, the biggest launching point for the mainly African migrants colonists who make the dangerous voyage across the Mediterranean Sea, the group said.
The Switzerland ...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell... -based organization, also known as Doctors Without Borders, said that the remaining hostages are being held by the militia at a former military base.
Two Sabratha residents and one migrant said most of the gunnies belong to a militia known as al-Ammu, which the U.N. Panel of Experts on Libya identified in 2017 as main controllers of human trafficking. The migrant said the faceless myrmidons are likely seeking ransom from families of the held migrants colonists, or to sell them to other traffickers.
Al-Ammu and another militia, called the Brigade 48, are headed by two brothers from the area's large al-Dabashi family. Both militias are affiliated with the U.N.-supported government in Tripoli.
...which has been paying them lots of Italy’s money to prevent migrants from continuing on to Europe. They certainly appear to be continuing to hold up their end of the deal.
The residents and migrant spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals. A front man for the Tripoli-based interior ministry did not answer phone calls and messages seeking comment.
The aid group said its medics were only allowed to consult with women and kiddies among the captive migrants colonists, and they were not allowed to treat men. A shooting reportedly broke out following an attempted escape on Oct. 2, and at least three people were killed, it said.
"The situation at the warehouse was tense, with gunnies firing shots into the air,'' the group's statement added.
The migrants colonists' abduction shows the perils that refugees and migrants colonists face in war-torn Libya, with those trapped in the country unable to ``escape violence or find safety,'' according to MSF.
Libya has emerged as a major transit point for African and Arab migrants colonists fleeing violence and poverty to Europe, after the North African country collapsed into civil war following the overthrow and killing in 2011 of longtime dictator Muammar Qadaffy ...The late megalomaniac dictator of Libya, admired everywhere for his garish costumes, funny hats, harem of cutie bodyguards, and incoherent ravings. As far as is known, he is the only person who's ever declared jihad on Switzerland...
[APA.AZ] "The enemy attempted to regain the lost positions, but was forced to flee, suffering losses," the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told APA.
Despite the humanitarian ceasefire regime, the units of the armed forces of Armenia, after concentrating their forces, attempted to attack in different directions of the front.
In the daytime, the enemy made an attempt to attack from the side of the Tugh village in the direction of Hadrut and from the side of the Aragul and Banazur villages in the direction of Jabrayil.
As a result of the preventive measures taken by our units, the enemy, suffering heavy losses in manpower and military equipment, was forced to retreat. Due to well organized defense our units were able to stop the enemy's advance and defeated him, luring into a trap. As a result of the military clash, 38 enemy servicemen, 2 BM-21 "Grad" MLRS, 7 pieces of artillery and 2 trucks with ammunition were destroyed.
Currently, our troops maintain an operational advantage along the entire length of the front.
[APA.AZ] The information spread by the Armenian side about the alleged missile strikes by the Azerbaijani Army on the occupied settlements is false and misinformation, the Defense Ministry told APA.
"Unlike Armenia, Azerbaijan fully complies with the humanitarian ceasefire," said Ministry.

[MAIL] Denver police have arrested a private security guard working for a television crew on suspicion of murder after he shot and killed a man believed to be part of a 'Patriot Muster' rally outside the Denver Art Museum.
The Patriot Muster protester maced the security guard, who then pulled out his handgun and shot him dead, the Denver Post reported - with their photographer capturing the moment in an astonishing image.
Denver Police Department (DPD) confirmed on Saturday night the profession of the shooter, and that he had no affiliation with the Patriot Muster's rival BLM-Antifa protesters.
The security guard was working for 9News.
'A 9NEWS employee and a 9NEWS contractor were taken into custody,' the channel stated, saying that the second of the two people was not connected to the shooting.
'The private security guard was contracted through Pinkerton by 9NEWS. It has been the practice of 9NEWS for a number of months to hire private security to accompany staff at protests.'

There was a secondary argument going on nearby. I suspect the guy with the gun drew his weapon and the guy with mace saw someone pulling a weapon and maced the armed stranger and the armed man retaliated.

It is now for the courts to decide. It would appear the guard was being bullied then pushed. Outnumbered and apparently being surrounded, fair warning was given and the bullying escalated. I suspect the mob at least saw the "print" of the security guard's pistol. Was their intent to disarm the guard? Fortunately only the fat bully went down. Could have been much, much worse.

If you mace a Police officer, he can't shoot you and if he did he'd be charged with murder. So the Liberal Media's Security Guards should be treated no differently and charged with Murder.
I'd like also hear the whole story.... Like what lead up to the Macing? But it being media I am sure the CTMA spin-cycle is at full cover-up.

Riots are not the place to start bringing out weapons individually. You may have the right of self defense but the prosecutors will go after you and ignore the rioters. Stay away from crowds and mobs. If you are armed, better be in a well disciplined group protecting people and property. We are not at total anarchy—-yet.

IMO, best guess is 9 News Colorado probably hired Antifa scum as both security and as bait for a “news gathering” creation, & then went trolling to try to get footage of a (provoked) fight. IMO, looks like there were at least three people in on the plan:
1) the 9 News “producer,”
2) the Antifa “security,” Matt Doloff, and
3) the young man who kept trying to provoke a fight (IMO, bait) — probably also Antifa.
i think the guy who was shot and killed figured it all out and was confronting the producer, and the security drew down on him, and killed him when he used mace in response.

The antifa goons have been wearing helmets and tactical vests with PRESS emblazoned on them for a while now. When a few jurisdictions suddenly insisted on actual press credentials, they didn't seem to have much trouble getting them.

Since its inception in 1850, the Pinkerton Detective Agency has worked for those that could afford it, often with predictable results. History repeats itself...again. Wikipedia has a decent enough write-up on its history, good and bad.

See the shooter's weapon?
EOTech sight, nightlight, supressor sights and threads. He was well practiced at imagining he was going to shoot someone.

Agreed ESB4589. Intelligence gathering is paramount. M’Lady made 2 trips to Seattle in the last 4 months. Here is the plan we had.
1. Gather intelligence. Make a map of Seattle in your AO.
2. Gather reports of demos or riots. Mark on the map. Same with nearby potential threats
3. Mark avoidance routes as a contingency.
Our trips were uneventual. On one trip we diverted to I 405 around seattle because of antifa possibility of throwing rocks on cars or stopping traffic on I 5. They did stop traffic on our return trip. Remember the principle of the seven Ps::
Prior
Proper
Planning
Prevents
Pi$$
Poor
Performance.

Trying to identify it; Lefty had an anarchist tat on his left arm as well.

Alaska Paul thank you and yours for your service as "We the People.". Regardless of the outcome, your actions are impressive to me. If the left is successful in collapsing law enforcement, the right critical intelligence will make up the difference quickly.

Sequence of events - it appears that BEFORE the mace, the shooter attempted to disarm the victim, who then stepped back. The shooter then drew his pistol, assumed a firing stance and aimed at the victims head, and cocked the weapon. There is a picture of exactly this moment. Weapon drawn, finger on trigger, aimed at victim, but no mace spray yet.
Look carefully - the mace is not even to the shooter, but the barrel is exposed and the frame is in full recoil, meaning the pistol was discharged and likely impacted the victim at the exact time of this photo. The murderer shot first.

[THEBAGHDADPOST] Dozens of protesters gathered in al-Hurri subdistrict, in Karbala province on Saturday, blocking the road leading to the capital Baghdad.
The protesters were calling for better services, including safer roads, saying the road had become the "death path" with increased accidents and fatalities.
Hundreds of protesters were killed, thousands were maimed over the past year in Iraq, which has been witnessing regular anti-government protests.
People in the southern provinces of Iraq are angry at the authorities for having a rich natural reserves under ground and a devastated public service and life standards on the ground.
