[DAILYCALLER] The FBI released emails Monday confirming that former FBI Director James Comey drafted statements regarding the Perennial Presidential Campaigner Hillary Crooked Hillary Clinton ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away... email investigation months before the probe was closed. The bureau released a file entitled "Drafts of Director Comey’s July 5, 2016 Statement Regarding Email Server Investigation," to its Freedom of Information Act website. The file contains an email Comey sent May 2, 2016, to several FBI officials regarding the Clinton email probe, which was referred to internally by the codename "Midyear Exam." The draft statement was first revealed in late August

Mr. Mueller to the white courtesy phone please, Mr. Robert Mueller.
No surprise that the " esteemed" Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller was the FBI Director during this Russian Bribery Scandal involving the Obama Administration and the Millions of Dollars funnelled into the Clinton Foundation, not to discount the Hundreds of thousands of Dollars that were paid to Bill Clinton for speaking fees by these Russians interests.
Lest we forget Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State at the time who ultimately approved this Nuclear Deal. Where's the Special Prosecutor, DOJ and FBI on this Russian Collusion ?
[DailyMail] Hillary Clinton hobbled away from filming a British TV show interview on crutches Monday after breaking her toe falling down some stairs.
The former presidential candidate arrived wearing a surgical boot to the BBC program The Graham Norton Show, as she revealed she took a tumble in high heels while holding a cup of coffee.
The embarrassing fall forced her to pull out of a series of scheduled TV and radio appearances earlier today including ITV's This Morning and Woman's Hour on Radio 4.
Recalling her tumble, she said: 'I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand, I was talking over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards. That'll put a hitch in her giddyup.

Also - this is bullshit. How are you 'running' (dumb enough to begin with) down a set of stairs (with that momentum taking you in that direction) yet wind up falling backwards? Is everything out of her mouth simply not worth believing?

I can believe it. I see it nearly everyday. Driving, texting, eating, and or smoking. Denial of the use of turn indicators, immediate lane changes, combat driving. All right in the car next to or ahead of me.
According to GDOT, 1210 vehicle fatalities in Georgia already this year. And we are told firearms are the problem. Lucky for us Clinton reportedly does not drive.

Besoeker, if you use your turn indicators the folks in the other lane won't let you in. You have to take 'em by surprise.

You obviously subscribe to the cynical 'hooray for me, fok you' approach that denies man's consideration for others and the general goodness of mankind. Something I shall of course never do Abu.

Sorry. I forgot my /sarc tag. You spend as much time as I do on Interstate 5 in San Diego and you get a little calloused.
And, yes, there is the distracted driver syndrome. It's against the law here to text while driving but you see people doing it all the time. The Beest could have been on meds, could have had a shot of vodka in her coffee, could have had another seizure, could have been texting...she is the Beest after all and entitled...but nobody there to catch her this time. I'd love to have seen it.

if its true that she broke a toe, it is very bad to walk around on it afterward -- risk of aggravating injury, infection - a whole range of stuff

'I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand, I was talking over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards, put my foot in my mouth and bit my big toe clean off. Did I tell you I dodged snipe fire in Sarajevo?'
[Independent] Senators have reached a bipartisan deal "in principle" to fund Obamacare insurance subsidies that Donald Trump said last week he would terminate.
The plan between senators Lamar Alexander, a Republican, and Patty Murray, a Democrat, is intended to stabilise health insurance markets under the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.
The subsidies, officially called cost-sharing reduction payments, lower out-of-pocket healthcare costs for low-income consumers. They would be funded for two years under the agreement in exchange for more state flexibility in Obamacare.
For weeks, Mr Alexander and Ms Murray have been hammering out the healthcare legislation, which is separate from the Republicans' multiple failed attempts to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Mr Trump said he will support the deal, but called it a "short-term solution". He said he is still looking to overhaul his predecessor's signature healthcare law.
"The solution will be about a year or two years. And it will get us over this intermediate hump," Mr Trump said during a news conference in the Rose Garden.
He said the long-term solution is to provide states with "block grants" to help people buy private insurance.

Absolutely amazing how well they can work together to get things done when pork funding is threatened. I'd love to see their stock portfolios made public.

[NEWSWEEK] Sure, it's been more than 340 days since Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... beat Perennial Presidential Campaigner Hillary Crooked Hillary Clinton ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away... , but there's still one very narrow, highly unlikely and entirely unprecedented way that Clinton could become president. Sure she could.
And it has some Democratic die-hards dreaming again. ... while they're not busy Resisting™.
Harvard University professor Naturally. Lawrence Lessig offered a Clinton path to the presidency on Medium, putting forward a series of "if/then" scenarios that lead to House Speaker Paul Ryan ...Speaker of the House, U.S. Representative for Wisconsin's 1st congressional district, serving since 1999. He is a member of the Republican Party. He proposed an alternative to President Obama's 2011 budget and made himself the target of both Democrat and Republican verbal pies... handing the White House keys to Clinton. The longer a chain of if/then scenarios, the less likely a particular result will occur.
Here's how constitutional law expert Lessig lays it out:
If number 1: If Trump is definitively found to have colluded directly with Russia, he would be forced to resign or be impeached. What he's looking at here is a series of if then/multiple else if thens/else. if Trump is definitively found to have colluded.(Don't bet on it) and if he's forced to resign or impeached and convicted else if Trump is merely suspected of colluding (Most likely. They can keep "discovering" new evidence) Nothing happens else nothing happens
If number 2: If Trump is removed, Vice President Mike Pence would become president.
True statement.
If number 3: If Pence becomes president, he should resign too, given that he benefited from the same help from Mother Russia.
There's been no accusation that he's been involved. He has no moral obligation to do so except in the fantasies of Dems.
If number 4: If Pence resigns before appointing a vice president, Ryan would become president.
First there's the unlikelihood of him resigning. If that did eventually come about, he'd most likely appoint a VP.
If number 5: If Ryan becomes president, he should do the right thing and choose Clinton for vice president. Then he should resign.
Power's not something that people give up lightly, especially if they're not obligated to do so. By this stage we've gone through a series of unlikely steps, with hands getting cleaner and cleaner, until we arrive at the point of a politician "doing the right thing" and then resigning so a woman of the other party who's regarded by his party (and by independents) as a serial liar and, given her behavior since the election, mentally unstable can take over without having to win an election.. "The answer seems unavoidable: He should nominate the person defeated by the treason of his own party, and then step aside and let her become the president," Lessig writes. Perhaps the answer's unavoidable to fantasists. If I was a gambling guy, I'd say there were a lot more chances against it than in favor.
"Without doubt, if Ryan did the right thing, that would be the most extraordinary event in the history of America since the Confederate Army fired on Fort Sumter. But unlike that, this event would build the union, not divide it." Nope. It would give the party of the Confederacy its way.
Lessig, who briefly ran for the Democratic nomination in 2015, adds that Clinton would then appoint Ryan to be veep out of political goodwill. And he would coincidentally retire as a "dead broke" very rich man, rich beyond his widest dreams, to die soon after of "natural causes."
Americans can only assume that while busy being a president who can read policy documents longer than one page, she'd stop her endless press tour and figure out how to keep the nation from getting nuked. She can burn the midnight oil instead of reading executive summaries of things she won't be able to recall. Meanwhile, the people who elected Trump will be Resisting™.

...What amazes me is that the Constitution was written so that men with no education (at that time) could understand it. And yet today, men with literally hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of the 'best' education money can buy are somehow unable to comprehend what it does and does not say.
Arrogant, self-righteous idiots.

Freudian Projection boys, Freudian Projection. Who are the real 'deniers'?
My fantasy:
If number 1: If Hillary colluded directly with Russia in selling 20% of US uranium reserves to Russia (probability = 1), she will spend the rest of her unnatural life in prison.
[The Hill] Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Tuesday said it would be "extraordinary" if the Republican Party is able to pull off tax reform by the end of the year.
"It took Ronald Reagan over two years on a bipartisan basis to get tax reform done," Mnuchin said during an interview on Fox News' "Special Report with Bret Baier." "If we get it done this year, it will be extraordinary."
"Our objective is to get it on the President’s desk by December to get him to sign it this year," Mnuchin added, but cautioned that there's "no artificial deadline."
"We are going to work on it as fast as we can," the treasury secretary added.
Mnuchin called the GOP plan to reform the tax code critical to creating a "competitive" environment for American businesses.
"We have to get it done to create economic growth and competitive business system," Mnuchin said. "We have one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world. We tax on world-wide income. We have a concept of deferral to leave the money offshore, you don’t pay taxes. Trillions of dollars are sitting offshore."
"This is all about making American business competitive," he added.
On Monday, Trump made similar remarks at a press conference with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), where he cautioned that Congress still has a "long way" to go on tax reform.
[FoxNews] A Battlefield Cross marker which was removed from the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio, has been returned.
Veterans say the marker, made up of a helmet, a rifle and a pair of boots, is one of the most powerful tributes that can be paid to servicemen and women.
But, some veterans were outraged when they learned that the Department of Veterans Affairs, which runs the cemetery, had removed a Battlefield Cross because of a complaint that it included the depiction of a realistic-looking gun.
On Monday, FOX 8 spoke with the administrator of the cemetery, who told us that the removal of the marker was as a result of "guidance" from Veterans Affairs headquarters in Washington. The policy applies to all cemeteries operated by Veterans Affairs.
Then, on Tuesday, we received the following statement from National Cemetery Administration Public Affairs Officer Jessica Schiefer.
"The monument at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery was removed due to a regrettable misinterpretation of policy guidance regarding the acceptance of new monuments that depict weaponry. It has since been returned to its original location. VA will continue to honor Veterans and their families with final resting places in national shrines and with lasting tributes that commemorate their service and sacrifice to our Nation."
