[Al Monitor 10 April 2015] WASHINGTON -- Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton is endorsing the illegal exploitation of disputed lands and risks undermining four decades of UN diplomacy by taking money from Morocco, critics say.
Clinton, who's expected to announce her candidacy for the Democratic nomination April 12, has come under fire for accepting foreign contributions to the Clinton Foundation, most recently a $1 million donation from OCP, a fertilizer giant owned by the Moroccan government. Left unsaid in the initial reports: OCP -- the Office Chérifien des Phosphates -- is a major player in the exploitation of mineral resources from the Western Sahara, a disputed territory known as the "last colony in Africa" that Morocco took over after colonial power Spain abandoned it in the 1970s.
"You’ve heard of blood diamonds, but in many ways you could say that OCP is shipping blood phosphate," Rep. Joe Pitts, R-Pa., told Al-Monitor. "Western Sahara was taken over by Morocco to exploit its resources and this is one of the principal companies involved in that effort."
A co-chairman of the Western Sahara Caucus and the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, Pitts is one of a small handful of lawmakers willing to buck Morocco, a longtime US ally that runs a massive lobbying and PR operation in Washington. On April 10, he sent a letter to the Clinton Foundation, first obtained by Al-Monitor, along with House Foreign Affairs human rights panel Chairman Chris Smith, R-N.J., asking the foundation to refund the money and "discontinue its coordination with OCP."

Yes there is a strong Pakistani link to OCP. And yes, Pakistani fertilizer companies are providers of ANFO (or AN/FO, for ammonium nitrate/fuel oil) is a widely used bulk industrial explosive mixture for....Afghani/Taliban IED's

OCP is the world's largest phosphate producer. In January 2005, it entered into an agreement with Mississippi Phosphates Corporation of Pascagoula. It was a limited time agreement and it is unknown if OCP still has ties in the USA.
[Breitbart] James O’Keefe and Project Veritas are filing a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission against Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The decision comes amid increasing media coverage of the two videos released by O’Keefe, which expose apparently illicit actions by a group of political actors associated with the Clinton campaign, the DNC and the White House.
The establishment media was forced to cover O’Keefe’s videos after one subject, Robert Creamer, announced he would quit working for the DNC. This break came a day after the first video release prompted another subject, Scott Foval, to leave his job with another Democratic political group, Americans United for Change.
James O’Keefe told Breitbart News exclusively:
"As the chairman of Project Veritas, our work is financially independent and beholden to nobody. Our work is funded by thousands of contributors, small, medium, and large. What I have learned about our media ‐ and it’s frightening ‐ is that almost everyone is compromised. Media companies are beholden to stockholders and I have sources that I am trying to get to go on the record to explain that these companies are afraid of reporting this story for fear of political retaliation. If the public knew the truth, I think it would change everything about American politics."
[Fox] Just hours after Hillary Clinton dodged a question at the final presidential debate about charges of "pay to play" at the Clinton Foundation, a new batch of WikiLeaks emails surfaced with stunning charges that the candidate herself was at the center of negotiating a $12 million commitment from King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
One of the more remarkable parts of the charge is that the allegation came from Clinton's loyal aide, Huma Abedin, who described the connection in a January 2015 email exchange with two top advisers to the candidate, John Podesta and Robby Mook.
Abedin wrote that "this was HRC's idea" for her to speak at a meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in Morocco in May 2015 as an explicit condition for the $12 million commitment from the king.
"She created this mess and she knows it," Abedin wrote to Podesta and Mook.
The "mess" refers in part to the fact that the three Clinton advisers were discussing the possibility of the former secretary of state pulling out of speaking at the May 2015 event because it was happening one month after the official launch of her presidential campaign and could raise more questions about her role at the foundation.
In April 2015, Politico reported the Clinton Foundation was accepting a "major donation" of at least $1 million from a Moroccan government-owned company, OCP, a phosphate exporter. Politico added that an official at the foundation said it was "unlikely" Hillary would attend the May 2015 event, just weeks after the April launch of her campaign.
[BREITBART] The two women who were briefly jugged Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up! in August after assaulting a pro-Trump activist outside of a popular Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood have been charged with assault and battery.
According to Los Angeles Court documents, Kelsey Rae Salem and Jacqueline Raye Johnson were charged and are set to be arraigned in court on Wednesday, where they will formally hear the charges against them. The assault victim was Alaskan artist and pro-Trump activist Tim Treadstone, better known by stage name Baked Alaska, who was rallying in support of Trump in a city from which the Republican presidential nominee is officially "banned."
Pro-Trump lawyer Mike Cernovich, who is advising Treadstone on his legal rights, told Breitbart News, "Under Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, law, they could charge it as a felony or a misdemeanor. I suspect it will be charged as a misdemeanor," Cernovich said. "Legally, they’ll get off relatively easy and likely do community service."
Treadstone told Breitbart News that he had "claw marks" on his neck after one of the women assaulted him. "This blond girl grabbed my iPhone and threw it as hard as she could to the pavement. And before I could pick it up, the brunette who was throwing the food at people punched me in the head. My glasses and my hat flew off," he said.
Earlier, at the rally, anti-Trump passersby threw a can of Monster energy drink, eggs, and dog feces at pro-Trump demonstrators. The can of Monster hit one man on the back.
Meanwhile, ...back at the barn, a little lightbulb figuratively appeared over Bossy's head... at the Mexican restaurant, a number of patrons started throwing food at the Trump supporters. "I’ve never seen anything like it," Cernovich, who was also present at the rally, told Breitbart News at the time. "They were throwing nachos and guacamole at us."
At the time, Treadstone had stated, "Justice needs to be served. And we are going to make sure it is with the current laws in place so we ensure this doesn’t happen to other people."
Speaking with Breitbart News this week, Cernovich added, "What these women did was irresponsible and stupid and they should do some sort of community service and write an apology letter to Tim. But they don’t deserve jail time." He also noted that "there has been a lot of violence against Trump supporters. This is one of the many including the latest attack on the GOP office" in North Carolina, which was Molotov cocktailed earlier this week.
Vice Presidential nominee Mike Pence called the Molotov cocktailing an act of "political terror."
A newly-released video by James O’Keefe of Project Veritas shows that Democrats used a method known as "bird-dogging," involving trained provocateurs, to instigate violence at Republican events nationwide throughout the 2016 election cycle, including at several Trump rallies.
"Hillary should call for this to stop," Cernovich said.

Corrected yet?
[BREITBART] On Tuesday’s"CNN Newsroom," anchor Brooke Baldwin asserted that "there already are are term limits" on members of Congress.
Baldwin said, "[L]et me just relay this to everyone, that apparently, from the Trump camp, there is another major announcement that Trump will make today as part of his pledge to ’drain the swamp,’ we keep hearing ’drain the swamp’ in Washington. He says, ’If I’m elected president, I will push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress,’ correct me, there already are term limits, so what does he mean?

Once upon a time, people learned such things in 9th grade Civics class.
#2
I think we all should be born as residents, but have to take the same Civics test as foreign applicants and pass at 18 (or older) to be eligible to be a voting citizen.
#6
a la Heinlein, there are civilians and then there are citizens. Let me guess which one is Broke Baldwin.
(Yes, I misspelled her first name by accident but then I realized this is more correct!)
#7
Well then Brooke, how come we keep getting these Apparatchiks-for-Life"? It would seem the "Term Limits" would limit corruption and voter fraud. Not enough time to organize for either. Pols would tend to think there's no money in it.
#8
The question is, does Baldwin know she's wrong and she's just planting misinformation for her ignorant audience which can be corrected later (if anyone notices) after the election.

Read Starship Troopers - lines it out quite clear. The director of the movie openly admits the movie was supposed to be a parody of the book.
In 9th grade, many of my prog peers were chanting great on Athenian Democracy over Republicans! Sounds crazy - to the educated, but it was a catchy phrase. Except, I knew the Dewey Decimal System and could look up such things. Turns out they were cheering for the exact opposite thing they were agitating for, because Catchphrase!
[BREITBART] President Barack Obama I inhaled. That was the point... offers multiple excuses for why health insurance premiums continue to skyrocket, including blaming Republicans and insurance companies for the problems.
He complains that too many news hounds spend more time discussing premium increases than explaining why he isn’t responsible for them.
"No, I had nothing to do with that," Obama said, calling it "complicated" despite the "hysteria" that was growing.
Obama traveled to Florida to argue that Obamacare ... aka the Affordable Care Act, an ineptly designed and worse executed piece of legislation designed to bring 17 percent of the U.S. economy under the direct control of the government. The previous iteration, known as Hillarycare, was laughed out of Washington. This stinker was passed on a party-line vote without being read... was working well, but needed to be fixed.
During his speech, he pointed out that when smart phone companies released a product that had bugs in it, they fixed it.
"Unless it catches fire. Then they pull it off the market," he admitted, likely referring to the disastrous exploding Samsung Galaxy S7.
But the president argued that companies weren’t trying to repeal smart phones, but rather fix the problems with the modern devices rather than return to rotary dial up phones.
"We’re not going to go back," Obama said, challenging Republicans who repeatedly called for an Obamacare repeal.
The president argued that most people got their health care from their jobs, insisting that Obamacare didn’t even affect their premiums or health policy changes.
"These are decisions made by your employers, it’s not because of Obamacare," he said.

The 'community disorganizer' and Perpetual Warrior speaks, Clinton will be no different. There is money in death, both at the micro (Planned Parenthood) as well as the macro (Planned Nationhood).
Far, far too many 'deplorable' people running around, carboning up the atmosphere. It's all for the best, you'll see.

Hey, bytch, you and your party own it. Even Slick Willy said it was a failure. Hillary says it is a failure when she is using her private (not public) persona according to WikiLeaks.

That's the single common denominator of the left...a lack of accountability or sense of responsibility.
They wreck one demographic after another with their do good meddling and when the mess explodes they say their intentions were good...and never admit it was a mistake.
Good Lord, I hope Trump wins and I hope he takes a flame thrower to the left leaning bureaucracy in Washington. We need State, Justice, Defense, Health and Human Services and the CIA gone through with a guillotine and a stack of pink slips...
I've never prayed for an election result but I am now...

Americans now got free preventive care, free checkups for women, free mammograms, and allowed children to stay on their parents health care plans into their 20s.
No such thing as "free". There is "included in the price" and there is "somebody else is paying for it." That's it. Stoopid is as stoopid does.

I don't know about the damage from WikiLeaks, but I just watched Trump blast Hildabeest at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation annual banquet for Catholic charities in NYC. Hillary was also present but I'll bet she wished she wasn't. Trump's brand of humor was withering towards Hillary. She must have had an unending string of swear words for him afterwords. I've never seen anything quite like it.

They should have started these leaks much earlier. Just too much information to digest in a few short weeks, and too easy for the MSM to bury it while blanket covering Trump problems.

From Huma to Podesta: Just to give you some context, the condition upon which the Moroccans agreed to host the meeting was her participation. If hrc was not part if it, meeting was a non-starter. CGI also wasn't pushing for a meeting in Morocco and it wasn't their first choice. This was HRC's idea, our office approached the Moroccans and they 100 percent believe they are doing this at her request. The King has personally committed approx $12 million both for the endowment and to support the meeting. It will break a lot of china to back out now when we had so many opportunities to do it in the past few months. She created this mess and she knows it.
Smoking gun evidence on pay for play. Not too hard to digest even for our pandering media types.

CNN also owns most every international English speaking hotel room and bar area, so international opinion is formed in repeated every 30 minute segments for the news starved abroad. Formula is 6 minutes on whomever they chose to demonize followed by a 30 second more reasonable alternative position on whomevers in favor that day.

The Wifester was pi$$ed at DJT's performance, insisting it was inappropriate for the venue. My laughter at the surreal nature of what was occurring did not help matters.
My take is that DJT is not graceful in the company of hypocrisy, and it shows. He's not a politician in the traditional sense, but that's what he's all about, right? She used a scalpel, he used a 20# sledge.
During her monologue, Rudy was shooting eye daggers at HRC - pretty funny. Kissinger appeared confused.

I guess it is a guy thing as I had a similar reaction. I could see where it might tick-off some judging from the boos. Figured these were Dems who didn't like being called out.

The expressions on some of those faces were priceless. Clearly there was some discomfort. But I don't think Trump's remarks were anywhere near as inappropriate as Clinton's misdeeds and the constant lies coming from MSM.

He warmed my Heart with this speech. To watch those hypocrites squirming in their seats having to listen , so uncomfortably to the next possible POTUS - Jamming it all right back into their faces. Improper venue? Maybe.
But now is the time and they have never acted any better. They did the same.
[CNSNEWS] Speaking in Rome, Italia on Thursday, Attorney General Loretta Lynch told a group of leaders and law enforcement officials that "fighting corruption in all of its forms" is a vital mission of the U.S. Justice Department.
"And like many of you, I have seen firsthand how corruption, at bottom, is about breaking trust. It is about undermining citizens’ belief in their elected officials. It is about betraying the people’s faith that when public monies are spent on services for citizens ‐ from infrastructure to education ‐ none of those funds will be misappropriated for selfish ends.
"And it is about poisoning the civic spirit of a people ‐ displacing passion with cynicism, and solidarity with suspicion. And that is why the U.S. Department of Justice has made it a priority to root out, prosecute, and prevent corruption."
Lynch continued: "What is at stake is not just a sum of money or a single contract: it is the public’s trust that one set of rules apply to all of its members, that we have ordered our markets and our governmental institutions in a fundamentally fair manner, and that our societies will uphold and respect the rule of law.
"I am proud to say that with the help of our domestic and international partners, we are working tirelessly to detect corruption and bring wrongdoers to justice ‐ no matter how powerful the actors, no matter how complex the crimes, and no matter where the crimes take place."
Lynch, a former federal prosecutor, drew sharp criticism in late June, after confirming that she met privately with former President Bill Clinton ...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of is... at an Arizona airport, at a time when the FBI (part of the Justice Department) was investigating Clinton's wife Hillary for her handling of classified information. Lynch at the time was the person who would sign off on that investigation.
