[DAILYCALLER] Two suspects are in jug after half of a dozen people were shot, including two coppers, during a shootout at a North Carolina nightclub Thursday, authorities said.Gunshots rang out after Sgt. E. Nelson and Ofc. M. Lewis, who were working off-duty, tried to break up a fight at Club Remedies in Gastonia, North Carolina, according to WCNC. The law enforcement personnel, alongside four others, were struck by bullets, and all the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to a blurb from the Gastonia Police Department.
Alonzo Lewis Hamilton and Allen Slaughter were arrested in connection to the shooting and both were booked on six counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon, the department wrote. The alleged button men are each being held on $1 million bonds, according to WCNC.

The boy was rushed to Stroger Hospital in fair condition; his father was not maimed, the Tribune reported.
"He was just sitting there in the car and someone shot him," Lamar’s mother, Melissa Robinson, told the newspaper.
"Kids can’t go outside, they can’t do anything," added the worried mom, who learned of the shooting from the family friend who had the school supplies for her son.
Lamar was released the next day from the hospital, but needs to return early next week for a follow-up, according to the report.
"Everybody just needs to think about what’s going on in the world and try not to harm others," said Robinson, 30. "I am just grateful he is OK."
Lamar, who is in the process of returning to Chicago after moving to Indiana at age 2, told his mother he had no idea who would want to hurt him.
No arrests had been made as of early Friday. The maroon SUV was spotted speeding off after the shooting and no description of the gunman was available, Chicago police told The Post.

[DAILYCALLER] Lifeguard and swim instructor Anthony Capuano ripped off his prosthetic leg to jump into the Newark Bay to save a driver who was trapped inside a sinking car Tuesday.
As a crowd of people gathered near the bay to watch the SUV slowly sink, Capuano said he headed straight over to the crowd of people, according to ABC 6.
"I saw people running and we did the same," he said, per the report.
"I hopped over the fence and when I got onto the rocks I took off my leg and I crab walked over the rocks," he added.
"Someone had said out loud, ’Does anybody know how to swim?'" Capuano said, according to The Jersey Journal. "And I was just like, ’Oh. I guess that’s me.’ And then I jumped in."
Capuano swam to the vehicle, which was roughly 50 feet from shore to rescue the 68-year-old victim, per ABC 6. The man in the car said he didn’t know how to swim.
Authorities said the driver pulled over to answer a phone call and attempted to park but lost control of the vehicle. Police said he had his foot on both the brake and accelerator which caused his car to go flying into the bay, per ABC 6.
Capuano lost his leg 11 years ago when he was struck by a train in Downtown Jersey City.

[DAILYCALLER] On the eve of SpaceX’s second manned launch, CEO Elon Musk says he has tested positive and negative for COVID-19 twice each — all on the same day.
Musk’s company SpaceX is expected to launch its second manned craft from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Saturday, but the head of the company may not be able to participate in the event, the News Agency that Dare Not be Named (AP) reported. Musk tweeted Friday just after midnight that he had been given four rapid tests for COVID-19 on Thursday and two had come back positive while the other two were negative.

The cycle times Musk refers to are important. All the PCR testing in the US is using 38-40 cycle times. Anything over 28 times in 100% incapable of detecting live virus. Think of zooming into an image so far that all you see is a couple of pixels.

...A new study from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., however, suggests that an out-of-control immune response is not the main problem for the vast majority of hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Only 4% of patients in the study had the sky-high levels of immune molecules that signify a so-called "cytokine storm." The rest had inflammation, but not a remarkably high amount for people fighting infection. If anything, the COVID-19 patients had less inflammation than a comparable group of influenza patients.
