[MORNINGSTARONLINE.CO.UK] TURKEY has been branded a "terrorist state" and is under investigation by the Nigerian military over allegations it supplied "sophisticated weapons" to jihadist terror group Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... , according to a senior army official.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] French prosecutors called Friday for 20 suspects to go on trial over the massacre of 130 people by jacket wallahs and button men in Gay Paree four years ago.
In a 562-page indictment, the office of the national anti-terror prosecutor (PNAT) charged 14 people currently in prison or under judicial supervision, including Salah Abdeslam, the sole surviving suspected participant in the attacks.
Six others are currently targeted by arrest warrants, including Fabien and Jean-Michel Clain, notorious propagandists for ISIS, which grabbed credit for the killings.
An ISIS online magazine claimed in March that the two brothers were killed in coalition Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s in Syria earlier this year.
The five judges overseeing investigations that wrapped up last month, and who have worked with colleagues in Austria, Germany, Greece and Bulgaria, will now decide when to hold the trial, expected in Gay Paree during 2021.
The PNAT said 1,740 civil plaintiffs had joined the case against the suspected organizers of one of the deadliest attacks in French history.
A total of 130 people died in the November 15, 2015, assaults by 10 heavily armed button men who attacked during a football match at the national stadium outside Gay Paree, and then bars and restaurants in the capital as well as the Bataclan concert hall.
All detonated their explosive vests or were killed by police except Abdeslam, who was arrested in Belgium four months later.
He has refused to cooperate with Sherlocks and remains in solitary confinement.
The other suspects facing trial have been charged with helping to organize or finance the attacks, or helping the button men to flee.
They include Oussama Atar,
...also known as Abou Ahmad, he comes out of a typical jihadi clan — younger brother Yassine Atar was arrested in 2017 as local emir for the team that did the 2015 Paris and Brussels attacks, while cousins Ibrahim and Khalid Bakraoui kaboomed themselves in Zaventem airport and the Brussels Maalbeek metro station in 2016, and cousins Moustapha and Jawad Benhattal were arrested for planning to kaboom a soccer match in Belgium...
a Belgian-Moroccan citizen who is thought to have helped orchestrate the attack from Raqqa, the former capital of the ISIS’ so-called "caliphate" in Syria.
Atar was reportedly killed in early 2018, but his death has not been officially confirmed.
Since 2015, La Belle France has been struck by a wave of murderous Moslem terror strikes that have claimed the lives of over 250 people.
The same murderous Moslem cell blamed for the Gay Paree attacks is also believed to have struck the airport and metro system of Brussels in March 2016, killing 32 people.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Cyprus and Greece have strongly criticized an agreement between The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... and Libya’s UN-recognized government to delineate the maritime boundaries between the two countries, describing it as a serious breach of international law that disregards the lawful rights of other eastern Mediterranean countries.
The Cypriot Foreign Ministry said on Friday a Memorandum of Understanding the two countries signed has no legal validity and can’t undermine the rights of Cyprus or other coastal states.
It said Turkey’s "distortion" of international law doesn’t afford it any legal rights and demonstrates that Ankara is alone in its views.
The Turkey-Libya deal announced this week added tension to an ongoing dispute with Greece, Cyprus and Egypt over oil-and-gas drilling rights in the eastern Mediterranean - with the Europe ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... an Union backing members Greece and Cyprus in the escalating spat.
Turkey does not recognize Cyprus as a state and is conducting exploratory gas drilling in waters where the ethnically divided island nation has exclusive economic rights.
Ankara says it’s defending its rights and those of breakaway Ottoman Turkish Cypriots to regional energy reserves.
In Athens, a front man for the Greek Foreign Ministry said Turkey was not acting in a neighborly manner.
"The signing by Turkey and Libya of a memorandum of understanding cannot violate the sovereign rights of third countries. Such an action would be a flagrant violation of the International Law of the Sea and would produce no legal effect," front man Alexandros Yennimatas said.
The Ottoman Turkish ambassador to Athens was summoned to the ministry on Thursday for consultations with the minister, while Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis discussed the issue on Friday on a call with French President Emmanuel Macron, Greek officials said.
Mitsotakis is planning to raise the issue at a summit of NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all.... leaders in London next week.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The United States called Friday on Iraqi leaders to address the "legitimate" grievances of protesters including corruption after the embattled prime minister announced his resignation.
"We share the protesters’ legitimate concerns," a State Department spokeswoman said, echoing a US line through the two months of protests.
"We continue to urge the government of Iraq to advance the reforms demanded by the people, including those that address unemployment, corruption, and electoral reform," she said.
The spokeswoman did not comment directly on Prime Minister Adil Abdel Mahdi’s decision to quit, saying that the State Department deferred to the Iraqi government for further comment.
Abdel Mahdi had been seen as a nimble enough player to please both Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... and the United States, arch-adversaries that both have longstanding connections inside Iraq.
He weathered two months of protests that had killed more than 400 people but gave up Friday when he lost the support of the Shia Moslem-majority nation’s top holy man, Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani.
The United States has repeatedly called for Iraqi leaders to listen to protesters but has been relatively restrained about intervening in a state that it completely recrafted after the 2003 invasion.
Much of the US focus has been on demanding that Iraqis distance themselves from neighboring Iran.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has also threatened to impose sanctions on Iraqi officials found to have stolen wealth.

So #Iraq PM is resigning and the entire cabinet goes with him. President has 15 days to nominate a replacement and new PM once approved by parliament has a month to form a new government. Buying some time here but wonder if it will mean substantive change.
On Friday evening aircraft had attacked a Hamas target in northern Gaza in response to a rocket attack that also set off alarms in Israel. The army said the rocket exploded in an open field in Israeli territory. There were no casualties or damage in the attack.
The incidents came hours after a Palestinian teenager was reported killed by Israeli troops during a protest near the Gaza-Israel border.
The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry reported that 16-year-old Fahed al-Astal was shot in the stomach and that five others were wounded. No official demonstrations were held Friday. An IDF spokesman said some demonstrators had approached the border fence and attempted to sabotage it. Troops responded with less-lethal means as well as some live fire.
For the third straight week, the territory’s Hamas rulers canceled the regular Friday “March of Return” protests for fear of instability. This came following two days of intense fighting between Israel and the smaller Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group earlier this month.
In addition, the Al-Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad’s military wing, said Friday one of its members succumbed to injuries he sustained in an Israeli airstrike during the last round of fighting. It identified him as 30-year-old Raed al-Sarsawi.

[ALMASDARNEWS] Russia’s military police in the area of the Ottoman Turkish-Syrian border see the Kurds’ support, because it is clear for everyone that the Russian military’s mission there is to provide protection, Russian President Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... said at a meeting of Russia’s Nationalities Relations Council on Friday.
In his opinion, "at least some positive achievements" that have materialized on the border between Syria and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... "rely on the Kurds’ support and their interests."
"The people understand this. They display a kind-hearted approach towards us, even love," Putin said. In all communities the Russian military police that patrol the Ottoman Turkish-Syrian border "see a very kind attitude of the Kurdish population, because the people there see and understand that the Russian army is there to protect them. This is a hard fact."
At the session the co-chairman of the council of the federal ethnic and cultural autonomy of Russia’s Kurds, Farkhat Patiyev, complained that experts on one of the federal television channels insulted the Kurdish people and set different ethnic groups against each other.
"They are not officials, they do not represent the authorities," Putin said. "They do not express the viewpoint of either the television broadcaster or Russia’s authorities."
Putin recalled that Russia is home to many Kurds and has always had very kind and friendly relations with this people.
"I’ve no idea of what kind of nonsense somebody might’ve said. But I believe that all people should have enough common sense to understand that this has nothing to do with the official position of the Russian authorities," he concluded.
