Cairo court places Abdel-Moneim Abul-Fotouh, Alaa Abdel-Fattah on terrorism list
[AlAhram] The court order comes following a request by State Security prosecutors made in connection with a 2019 terrorism-related case.

A Cairo criminal court has placed former 2012 presidential candidate Abdel-Moneim Abul-Fotouh and activist and blogger Alaa Abdel-Fattah on the state’s terror list for a five-year period, along with 26 other people.

The court order comes following a request by State Security prosecutors made in connection with a 2019 terrorism-related case.

The court said the decision was issued in accordance with the country’s anti-terrorism law.

The list includes El-Hassan Khairat El-Shater, who is the son of the Moslem Brüderbund’s Deputy Supreme Guide Khairat El-Shater.

Under the anti-terrorism law, which has been in effect since 2015, any person placed on the terror list is subject to a travel ban and having their assets frozen.

Abul-Fotouh was arrested in February 2018 after he returned from London, where he had given interviews critical of the government. Shortly after his arrest, Abul-Fotouh was placed on the terrorism list for alleged ties with the Brotherhood before his appeal against the designation decision was accepted earlier this year.

Abul-Fotouh, who leads the centrist Strong Egypt party, is a former member of the Brotherhood. He defected from the group in 2011 and has for years distanced himself from it. He ran for president in 2012.

Blogger Abdel-Fattah was arrested in September 2019, six months after he was released after serving a five-year sentence for protesting without a permit in violation of a 2013 law.

Arabia
Netanyahu secretly visits Saudi Arabia, signaling possible breakthrough
But don't tell nobody cuz it's secret...
[MSN] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu traveled to Saudi Arabia over the weekend, a senior Cabinet minister told local news media, signaling a potential breakthrough for Israel as it strives for acceptance in the region.

Various Israeli news outlets and Axios, citing Israeli sources, reported Monday that Netanyahu had met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during a visit with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo — the first known meeting between the crown prince and Netanyahu.

On Israel's Army Radio, Education Minister Yoav Gallant congratulated Netanyahu on the "remarkable achievement" but did not say bin Salman and Netanyahu had met.

Netanyahu on Monday declined to comment on the reports, saying only: “I never talked about these kinds of things and I will not start now. I’m committed to strengthening Israel.”

The State Department also declined to comment. NBC News was not able to confirm that Netanyahu and the crown prince had met.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, meanwhile, denied that a visit took place, saying in a tweet that "no such meeting occurred. The only officials present were American and Saudi."

Rumors of thawing relations between the two Middle East powers have been swirling for years as the nations have seen their security interests overlap, with both viewing Iran as an existential threat.

Britain
UK Supreme Court to hear case over 'ISIS bride' return
[RUDAW.NET] Britannia's Supreme Court will on Monday hear the case of a woman stripped of her UK citizenship after joining the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) in Syria, who wants to return to appeal the ruling.

The government in July won its bid to have the country's highest court consider whether Shamima Begum, 20, should be allowed to return to the UK to pursue an appeal over her revoked citizenship.

Earlier in July, three senior Court of Appeal judges ruled Begum should be allowed to come to Britannia for the legal challenge.

But one judge said the Supreme court should consider the government's appeal because it raised "points of law of general public importance."

Begum was 15 when she and two other schoolgirls from Bethnal Green in east London left home to join the jihadist group on February 17, 2015.

She claims she married a Dutch convert soon after arriving in ISIS-held territory. She was discovered, nine months pregnant, in a Syrian refugee camp in February last year.

Her newborn baby died soon after she gave birth. Two of her other children also died under ISIS rule.

The then-home secretary, Sajid Javid, annulled Begum's British citizenship on national security grounds.

That prompted her to take legal action, arguing the decision was unlawful as it had made her stateless and exposed her to the risk of death or inhuman and degrading treatment.

British-born Begum is of Bangladeshi heritage. But Bangladesh's foreign minister has said he will not consider granting her citizenship.

Begum's high-profile flight with her friends from Britannia to Syria via The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
in 2015 was followed by an international manhunt. Her disappearance focused efforts to prevent disaffected British Moslems from leaving their homes to join ISIS.

Her discovery in Al Roj camp following the group's defeat in Syria and the subsequent months of legal wrangling over Begum's return has regularly prompted outcries in England's right-wing press.

While those opposing her admission to the United Kingdom have argued she is a security threat, groups calling for her to be allowed to return have said greater human rights
...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you...
principles are at stake and that Begum should answer for her crimes in Britannia

EU Member States Threaten Action Against Libyan Dialogue Spoilers
[LIBYAREVIEW] La Belle France, Germany, Italia, and the UK have issued a joint statement in which they agreed to take "measures" against those who obstruct the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF)."We are ready to take measures against those who obstruct the LPDF and other tracks of the Berlin process, as well as those who continue to plunder state funds or commit human rights
When they're defined by the state or an NGO they don't mean much...
abuses and violations throughout the country," the joint statement said.

The second round of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) began on Monday via video conference. It is being chaired by the Acting Head of the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Stephanie Williams.

The statement noted that the EU members welcomed the UN-brokered dialogue, which aims to achieve peace and stability in Libya. "We welcome the results of the first round of the LPDF which took place in Tunis from 7-15 November based on UNSC resolution 2510 (2020) and the conclusions of the Berlin Conference on Libya."

The Libyan recently rivals agreed on a roadmap for national elections on 24 December 2021. "This is an important step to restore Libya’s illusory sovereignty and the democratic legitimacy of its institutions," the statement explained.

La Belle France, Germany, Italia, and the UK also reiterated their calls to the Libyan parties to fully implement the ceasefire agreement. The EU states urged the parties, with the support of UNSMIL, "to agree to a mechanism for the fair and transparent use of oil revenues for the benefit of the Libyan people."

Hulusi Akar: ''Some problems overshadow Turkish-US relations''
[APA.AZ] "We think to cooperate closely with our counterpart in the new administration of the US", said The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, APA reports.

Minister noted it is that clear some actual problems overshadow Ottoman Turkish-US relations.

"For example, our purchasing S-400 led to a great problem. I want to note that our intention in this issue was just to provide defense of our 83 million citizens and air defense of our country. We came to this stage after clear and transparent purchasing process. What else did they wait for us to do? Additionally, the issue regarding safety of F-35 technology is as important for Turkey as it is for the US. We know that the US has a concern regarding the issue, but we are willing in removing these concerns. Threatening language and threats with sanctions should be avoided whatever happens, while discussing problems between two partners of 70 years. Turkey is one of the first five countries, which support NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions...
's work and operations with military units, as well as the first eight countries which support economically. Existence of different thoughts and attitudes in the union of 30 members is very normal. NATO's strength is elimination of thought differences in favor of the alliance. While Turkey is in the center of the NATO by sharing all values and responsibility of the union, executing its duties in operations and training", stressed the Minister.

India: No organised gang or foreign funding, SIT report reveals 11 cases of 'love jihad' in Kanpur
[OneIndia] In a recent development, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to probe incidents of 'love jihad' in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh has submitted its report, finding 'love jihad' angle in 11 out of 14 incidents. However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
the SIT found no organised gang or foreign funding.

According to reports, enticement or coercion on part of Moslem men was found in 11 cases. In three of these instances, the men had used fake names/identities to conceal their faith. All 11 accused have been sent to jail.

The report, that was submitted, also said that four of such Moslem boys were found to be in touch with each other but no evidence of larger conspiracy in terms of foreign funding or organised gang found.

In the other three cases, major Hindu girls conceded converting or marrying boys from other faith on free will.

After Madhya Pradesh and Haryana, Uttar Pradesh is mulling to bring a law against 'love jihad' and the state Home Department approached the Union Law Ministry with the proposal to bring such a law.

Arguing that thousands of families are getting impacted by 'love jihad', the ruling BJP sharpened its attack on the Opposition saying their allegations like anti-love jihad law is a ploy to disrupt communal harmony are wrong.

National General Secretary of the BJP Kailash Vijayvargiya on Sunday said that that law was targeted at inter-religion marriages with the intention or conspiracy to convert religion.

"We need to understand the definition of it (love jihad). The law is being made against the conspiracy behind the inter-religion marriages. Love is Sanatan and effortless; it does not see religion or a caste. But if someone loves and marries another person with a plan or intention to convert their religion, this law is from them," he said at a presser.

Germany says Iran violating nuclear deal systematically
[IsraelTimes] The foreign ministers of Germany, the UK and La Belle France are meeting in Berlin today to discuss the state of the countries’ nuclear deal with Iran, which is all but defunct following the US pullout in 2018 and Tehran’s subsequent return to enrichment activity.

Ahead of the meeting a spokeswoman for German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas tells Rooters Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
is systematically violating the 2015 accord.

"Together with our partners, we strongly call on Iran to stop violating the deal and return to fulfilling all its nuclear obligations completely," she says.
”Because otherwise we will...” Or possibly they won’t, whatever it is.
