Check your 401(k)'s fine print! Because now Biden wants to raid YOURS to fund net zero and 'diversity'. But why should his woke agenda put your retirement at risk
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The evening before Thanksgiving to avoid unwanted attention, Biden's Department of Labor released an Orwellian new rule misnamed 'Prudence and Loyalty in Selecting Plan Investments and Exercising Shareholder Rights.'

The rule interprets a law that requires fund managers make investment decisions for the sole benefit of the Americans who depend on those assets.

That's certainly both a good and reasonable policy. And at one time, it was bipartisan.

Congress passed ERISA (the Employee Retirement Income Security Act) in 1974. The law makes it crystal clear that those managing such assets must do so 'solely' in the interest of and for the 'exclusive purpose' of 'providing benefits to participants and their beneficiaries.'

This patently clear language provides no basis for investing assets to prioritize – say – saving the planet, achieving 'equity,' or in any way advancing wokeism.

Well, enter the Biden Administration and 'environmental, social and governance' – or ESG – investing.

ESG is a set of ill-defined, non-financial investment criteria used to screen potential investments based on how well a company is pursuing certain social or political goals.

ESG gained prominence in 2005 when a United Nations-sponsored group of international investors established six 'Principles for Responsible Investment' (PRI). The Principles include a pledge to 'incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.'

While there is no generally accepted definition, ESG often includes things such as advancing the goal of net zero carbon emissions (a.k.a. destroying America's energy sector and driving up energy prices), hiring to create diversity (a.k.a. discrimination based on race or sex rather than qualifications, merit, or character) and acceding to employee demands (a.k.a. unionization).

According to PRI's website, over 5,000 financial institutions – including almost every major US asset manager – have signed on.

Since then, ESG hasn't built the best track record.

Earlier this year, ESG leader and advocate, the investment company Blackrock, set a record for 'the largest amount of money lost by a single firm over a six-month period' having 'lost $1.7 trillion of clients' money,' according to Bloomberg.

But these ESG losses were not restricted to Blackrock.

As Bloomberg noted in May, '[i]nvestors are yanking cash from the sector at the fastest pace in a year, while two of the biggest exchange-traded funds tracking the industry… have each tumbled at least 24% in 2021'.

How Will Anyone Trust The Georgia Runoff Results When There's Enough Illegal Voting To Tip The Scales?
[THEFEDERALIST] Initial data from the November 2022 general election indicates more than 25,000 Georgians may have voted illegally in the general election. And the problem appears poised to repeat itself when voters cast their ballots in the state’s runoff election for senator on Dec. 6, 2022. Absent a win by a substantial margin by either Republican challenger Herschel Walker or Democrat incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock, litigation, with the potential ordering of a new election, seems likely — a scenario that would have proved disastrous to the country had control of the Senate remained in play.

In a complaint filed earlier this month with the Georgia State Board of Elections, Mark Davis, an expert in voter data analytics and residency issues, alerted the state to data indicating that in both November 2020 and November 2022, thousands of Georgians may have voted illegally by moving but then, rather than re-registering to vote as required by the state’s election code, casting ballots in the county in which they no longer resided. Davis’s complaint noted that due to space constraints, he was providing his supporting data in a detailed letter to State Board of Elections member Ed Lindsey.

That letter, obtained exclusively by The Federalist, highlighted the relevant portions of the Georgia election code and specifically OCGA 21-2-216(a)(4), which provides that "no person shall vote in any primary or election held in this state unless such person shall be, ’a resident of this state and of the county or municipality in which he or she seeks to vote.’" The election code further provides that if a voter changes his residence from one Georgia county to another county more than 30 days before the election, the person has lost his "eligibility to vote" in the county of his or her old residence. To vote, then, the individual "must register to vote in [his or her] new county or residence." And if the individual fails to "register to vote by the deadline," he or she "cannot vote in that particular election."

Davis then detailed data he had gathered related to the November 2022 election. Data obtained from the National Change of Address database showed 637,456 Georgians provided notice of permanent changes of address. About 168,000 of the 637,456 change of address notices were for voters who moved from one Georgia county to another more than 30 days before the election but failed to re-register there. "Over 25,000 of them appear to have voted in the 2022 general election in their old counties," Davis wrote.

Not all of the 25,000-plus Georgians who moved and then voted in their old county necessarily voted illegally. Rather, as Davis explained, some of those individuals "may be students away at school, or soldiers serving a tour of duty, or other people who had reason to file a permanent change of address for what was in reality a long-term temporary move."

Yet data collected by Davis from the November 2020 general election indicates that at least 35 percent of the approximately 35,000 people who moved from one Georgia county to another county in the state and voted in their prior county had, in fact, moved permanently. In fact, the number of potentially illegal votes from November 2020 — 12,400 — exceeded Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter, close friend of an imaginary negro named Corn Pop. He blames Trump for losing Afghanistan....
’s margin of victory over Trump in Georgia.

Republicans in Arizona county refuse to certify 2022 election
[NYPOST] Republican officials in one Arizona county said Monday they will not certify the 2022 election results that have Democrats winning races for governor, US Senate and other statewide offices — setting up a showdown with the Democratic secretary of state and governor-elect, who vowed to sue if the deadline was missed.

Two Republican members of the Cochise County Board of Supervisors voted to delay certifying the results amid claims that the county’s voting machines weren’t properly accredited — even though state election officials have said they have provided proof that they are.

"In that group’s opinion, the secretary [of state] has not been responsive in providing proof of lawful accreditation of voting machine laboratories," GOP Supervisor Tom Crosby said.

"In my opinion, that lack of response would seem to suggest the inability to provide the requested proof by the secretary," he added.

The lone Democrat on the board voted to certify.

Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, who defeated Republican Kari Lake in the gubernatorial race, said her office will sue.

Close-Up Photo Of Joe Biden Holding Hands With His Showering Partner Ashley Is Creepy As Hell
[DEFIANTAMERICA] The left-wing media decided to ignore the shocking sexual allegations that emerged from Ashley Biden’s diary, President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem mschine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family...
’s daughter.

According to the DailyMail.com, Ashley Biden, a drug addict, left her personal diary under a mattress in a Palm Beach, Florida halfway house where she stayed during one of her rehab stints. The diary reportedly details her drug abuse, sex addiction, and being "hypersexualized."

Ashley Biden also recounts times she showered with her father when she was young, something she allegedly wrote was "probably not appropriate."

If the mainstream media ignore this it doesn’t mean that it’s not real!

In the meantime, the Biden’s just completed yet another taxpayer-funded vacation, this time in snotty, rich Nantucket. Apparently, Joe was also holding hands with his daughter, instead of his wife. Ashley Biden may have been holding on to Joe to make sure he didn’t wander off. But it’s still creepy as hell did the same daughter that Joe Biden had inappropriate showers with as a child is holding hands like you’d expect to see with Joe and Jill.

NH Dems Finally Drop Manchester Ward 6 Challenge
Granted it's a real downballot race, but the NH House is close to 50-50, so it's yet another reminder that all races and votes potentially count. That, and I also like to point out the obvious hypocrisy of Democrats who piously proclaim 'count every vote!' at election time, unless they know those votes were going to a Republican.|
[NH Journal] - New Hampshire Democrats have abandoned their legal challenges in the Manchester Ward 6 recount, ending their bid to keep the candidate who received the most votes from taking the seat.

Democratic attorney Bill Christie informed his Republican counterparts Sunday night that his clients, Ward 6 candidate Maxine Mosley and Senate Minority Leader Donna Soucy (D-Manchester) would not be going forward with their appeal to the Ballot Law Commission as planned.

"It appears that the Manchester Ward 6 race is over," GOP attorney Richard J. Lehmann told NHJournal. But not before putting Granite State Democrats in the politically problematic position of trying to prevent lawfully-cast votes from being counted and echoing the "election denial" arguments of Donald Trump.

The battle began when the recount of incumbent Republican Larry Gagne’s narrow 23-vote victory resulted in a one-vote-margin win for Mosley. Republicans immediately began arguing the numbers suggested a stack of ballots were missed during the recount.

After comparing the count in the House race to the results of an audit of the votes in that ward in the governor’s race, Secretary of State Dave Scanlan agreed, announcing he was going to reopen the recount.

"The total number of ballots cast and counted for the office of governor in this district is greater than the total accounted for so far for the [Gagne v. Mosley] race. This indicates some ballots have not yet been counted in the recount," Scanlan said in a statement. "Reconciliation revealed there is insufficient certainty that all ballots cast in that race have been recounted, necessitating further counting."

Democrats responded by asking a judge to issue an order permanently banning the secretary of state from reopening the recount. They also accused Scanlan and the GOP of wanting "to conduct recount after recount until they achieve their desired result."

Merrimack Superior Court Judge Amy L. Ignatius ruled against the Democrats and said the recount could continue.

"A review of the recount tabulation is required to ensure the expressed will of the Manchester Ward 6 voters is heard and the candidate with the most votes is seated as their State Representative," Ignatius wrote.

The result, as Republicans predicted, was a 26-vote Gagne victory. Democrats announced plans to appeal that outcome before the Ballot Law Committee, a decision they reversed Sunday night.

One reason, Republican sources said, was that there were not enough questionable ballots to challenge that could overcome Gagne’s 26-vote margin. Another reason was the terrible optics Democrats suffered as the "election denier" party.

"It’s a shame Democrats are fighting so hard to keep votes from being counted instead of working harder on policies that would earn them more votes," said Manchester Republican Ross Berry. "Our position from the beginning has been simple: ’Count. Every. Vote.’ The Democrats’ response? ’No.'"

"This lawsuit by the Democrats really is voter suppression," added former Speaker of the House Bill O’Brien.

Elected officials like Soucy and party officials like state Democratic Party chairman Ray Buckley loudly and publicly fought to keep the secretary of state from conducting a complete recount, with Buckley echoing rhetoric often heard from defenders of Trump’s 2020 election denialism.

After the judge ruled against the Democrats, for example, Buckley suggested — without evidence— the GOP may have tampered with the ballots during the recount.

"Here’s the photo taken by [WMUR reporter Adam] Sexton of Repubs in a separate room with all of the ward 6 ballots the day after the recount," Buckley tweeted. "Scanlan says we can’t rely on his ability to oversee the bipartisan recount but we can trust this gang? Were the ballots secure? Are they now?"

In fact, the ballot count matched the numbers from the audit. Buckley had also repeatedly suggested a full accounting of the votes was an attempt to steal the election.

"Somebody ought to give Buckley Mike Lindell’s phone number," O’Brien quipped in response.

The Hell with Hunter; Call Joe in for hearings on TREASON
[Mercer] The Republicans are investigating the Hunter "Baaaden" affair, to imitate the repetitive intonations emitted by Fox News’ Australian journalist, about the "Baaaden" laptop.
Aussie reporter Miranda Devine nails it at the link above.
Deplorables, don’t be misled into this dummies-and-ditto-heads dead-end. This is vintage lightweight, GOP tit-for-tat distraction, on par with the Democrats’ ongoing January 6 production.

The Hunter Biden preoccupation amounts to, "They (Democrats) do January 6; we (Republicans) hack away at—or hit back with—Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell."

The outcome: The Democrats get what they want: détente. They neuter Deplorables, sending us down a political rabbit hole.

We gain nothing from such a foray. It’s zero-sum for Deplorables.

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley, whom I respect, disagrees. Turley, understand, operates within the philosophical parameters of the state. By and large, he believes in the extant integrity of American institutions, even confident that one party is more righteous than the other. When out-of-sync, the good party led by the right people, or so the good professor imagines, is sure to right wrongs through a congressional committee.

Wrong. Not for nothing do we call it the Permanent State, fronted as it is by evil and stupid-party operatives.

Correctly so, the matter of the FBI’s endemic corruption and bias has been settled both in the minds of deplorables and by the objective facts. (FBI Director James Comey anyone? Director Christopher Wray?)

If the GOP were seriously working for Deplorables, and not engaged in tit-for-tat political gotcha—they’d pursue First Principles driven congressional oversight.

Biden's non-binary nuclear waste guru used Vera Bradley bag for a month after stealing it from airport and unpacking female victim's clothes - but claims it was an ACCIDENT: Keeps job despite being charged - as White House says NOTHING
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Sam Brinton, a senior DOE official, is alleged to have stolen a suitcase from the baggage carousel at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on September 16

  • Brinton then took the bag to a St. Paul hotel and then returned to the airport in order to travel to Washington DC on September 18

  • Sometime between then and October 9, Brinton took a trip, with the suitcase, to Europe

  • After they were contacted by police, Brinton initially denied taking the suitcase but later admitted to the theft, citing tiredness for the confusion

  • Brinton said that they left the clothing from the suitcase, worth over $2,300, in the hotel room in St. Paul, police say that is untrue

  • If found guilty they could now face five years in jail, a $10,000 fine, or both
