[IsraelTimes] Turki bin Faisal often looked like the public face of Riyadh’s covert rapprochement with Jerusalem; then he launched a harangue against normalization
In recent years, Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... ’s Turki al-Faisal seemed to be the good cop, or prince, in the covert but deepening relationship between Jerusalem and Riyadh. While other officials in the kingdom shunned any public contact with people identified with the Zionist entity, he openly met with so many former — and even current — Israeli officials that he could be thought of as the royal family’s informal point man for contacts with Israel.

[FOX] Since the day Donald Trump was elected in 2016, we have been told that Russia is at the very top of the list of threats to America. Russia has penetrated our government. Russia threatens our democracy. Russia works tirelessly to subvert our economy and our way of life.
Of course, such claims were a lie, and we're all aware of that now. Russia never had the power or the money to control our government, and there's no evidence they even tried. But that doesn't mean that there was no collusion.
In fact, top leaders in American government and business have been compromised by a foreign power that seeks to undermine our country and our democratic system. It turns out that many of the very people who ranted so hysterically about Russia were doing precisely what they claimed to decry. They were working on behalf of our chief global rival, the government of China.
A recently recorded lecture showing a Chinese Communist Party expert explaining how Beijing had “people at the top of America’s core inner circle” has found its way onto the internet in the United States after being censored in China.
The lecture, given by Di Dongsheng, vice dean of the School of International Relations at Renmin University, in late November also included references to President-elect Joe Biden’s son Hunter and his business dealings in the Communist country.
Speaking about what was pushing the Chinese to accelerate the reopening of their financial sectors, Di made the revelation that Beijing had a rarely discussed advantage in working with the US prior to the Trump administration.
“We know that the Trump administration is in a trade war with us, so why can’t we fix the Trump administration? Why did China and the US used to be able to settle all kinds of issues between 1992 and 2016?” Di asked, going on to answer the question himself.
“I’m going to throw out something maybe a little bit explosive here. It’s just because we have people at the top. We have our old friends who are at the top of America’s core inner circle of power and influence,” the top Chinese political scientist continued.
Di added during the lecture that “for the past 30 years, 40 years, we have been utilizing the core power of the United States.”
As for the future of the US-China relationship, Di appeared optimistic about China’s ability to thrive under an incoming President Biden.
“During the US-China trade war, [Wall Street] tried to help, and I know that my friends on the US side told me that they tried to help, but they couldn’t do much. But now we’re seeing Biden was elected, the traditional elite, the political elite, the establishment, they’re very close to Wall Street, so you see that, right?” Di asked the audience, noting that the next administration would likely take a very different stance from that of President Trump.
Di went on to suggest that Hunter Biden, whose business dealings in Ukraine and China have come under scrutiny, received help from the Chinese in his business efforts.

What a revelation! The NYT and the WAPO are going to be all over that.

Ref #6: To be fair, the American economy is in a recovery. Not everything happening on Wall Street can be attributed to the Biden alleged victory.
[Red State] I’ve written twice thus far on the setting by Justice Alito of a deadline for the Pennsylvania state defendants to file their response to the Emergency Application for Injunctive Relief filed by GOP Congressman Mike Kelly and other Plaintiffs. The Plaintiffs are seeking Supreme Court review of the dismissal of their complaint by the Penn. Supreme Court seeking to declare all "no excuse" mailed in ballots for the November 3 election to be invalid based on the claim that the Pennsylvania statute adopting that voting scheme violated a provision of the Pennsylvania State Constitution.
This type of application, because the case is not yet pending before the full Court, is directed initially to the individual Justice who is assigned to receive these types of emergency motions and applications from particular lower Circuit Courts and State Courts. Justice Samuel Alito receives such motions and applications from decisions out of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. On December 3 he set December 9 at 5:00 pm as the deadline for the state defendants to file their opposition. As noted, I have written about the possible implications of that date twice previously.
[American Thinker] News broke on Monday that a federal district court judge in Detroit — an Obama nominee — dismissed Sidney Powell’s Michigan lawsuit. Her ruling was what one would expect from an activist judge, in that it was entirely partisan. We need to hope and pray that the Supreme Court has better caliber justices.
Contrary to what naïve people believe, most progressive judges are not dedicated to applying the law impartially in the search for justice. They are partisan hacks who decide in advance which side should win and then retrofit legal principles to make their decisions appear valid. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the paradigm of the modern judge.
One of Ginsburg’s intellectual heirs sits on the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Here’s what you need to know about Judge Linda V. Parker: She spent only five years in private practice and the rest of her career working for the government. She worked in the District of Columbia Superior Court, the EPA, the U.S. Attorney’s office for Michigan, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, and as a judge. Obama nominated her to the Federal District Court in 2013.
Parker is a Swamp creature whose fealty is to the government and leftism. She’s also clearly an activist, not a scholar:

"what she is saying is it’s okay to disenfranchise Trump voters by refusing to address multiple, dramatic and credible fraud claims, but it's not okay to disenfranchise Biden voters even if their victory was manifestly achieved through fraud"

Will Justice Barrett recognize what an extreme abuse of power has happened and knock this down? Or will she pull a Roberts and hide in the Swamp?
Even if she does, won't a favorable SCOTUS ruling simply throw the issue back into the Michigan state swamp?
How will the elections board certify the vote now that the ballots are out of the envelopes? How to "cure" these rotten ballots?
We've all seen the videotape in which a Democrat Elections Board official in Detroit hurls accusations of racism and makes personal threats against his GOP colleague and her family. How could the Court "cure" this abuse of power?
We need a different cure. No relief will be forthcoming from the judicial process.
[PJ] On Monday, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Jenna Ellis predicted that legislatures in four key swing states would reverse their certifications of 2020 election results showing Democrat Joe Biden prevailing over Trump, exercising their authority to change the way electors in the Electoral College are apportioned and handing the president the election. This legislative approach represents another facet of the Trump team’s push to reverse the allegedly tainted results.
"We do have the parallel paths. We are continuing on in the judiciary and I do anticipate that we will get to the Supreme Court," Ellis told Fox Business’s Charles Payne. The legislative approach represents an alternate path to the same result.
Ellis said she and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani have been "going to the state legislators and telling them that they actually have the constitutionally-delegated authority to make sure that they select their delegates in the manner that does not allow for corruption."
"When all of these rules and laws in these states have been ignored, it’s actually their constitutional obligation, responsibility, and exclusive power to make sure that they take back their delegates and they don’t allow these false certifications to move forward," the Trump lawyer argued.
Ellis predicted that the legislatures of Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan would use their authority over determining Electoral College electors in order to reverse the fraud which Ellis argued was responsible for Biden’s margin in those states.

Thoughtful essay by paleolibertarian Ilana Mercer. Lots of Jew-hate in the comments. Sadly, for most sites the choice is between letting the vileness flow or SJW over-control. We seem to have found the right balance here, in addition to all the other ways Rantburg is special.
[AmericanGreatness] Thought crimes are nobody’s business in free societies.
Some months ago, a gentleman who pens anti-Semitic tracts approached me for an interview. I agreed. Being a naïve methodological individualist, I never generalize about individuals. That my interlocutor writes crude anti-Semitic boilerplate did not mean I would not give him a chance to reveal himself as someone other than a crude anti-Semite.
[NBC] A former Israeli space security chief has sent eyebrows shooting heavenward by saying that earthlings have been in contact with extraterrestrials from a "galactic federation."
"The Unidentified Flying Objects have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet," Haim Eshed, former head of Israel's Defense Ministry's space directorate, told Israel's Yediot Aharonot newspaper. The interview in Hebrew ran on Friday, and gained traction after parts were published in English by the Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.
A respected professor and retired general, Eshed said the aliens were equally curious about humanity and were seeking to understand "the fabric of the universe."
