Barely a week after being named the 17th richest member of Congress, liberal firebrand ...firebrands are noted more for audio volume and the quantity of spittle generated than for any actual logic in their arguments... and Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson is refusing to support his estranged wife and their kids, and his wife has turned to government food stamps to support her family, WFTV 9 Orlando reports.
Grayson's marriage of 29 years dissolved earlier this year when his wife, Lolita Grayson, filed for divorce. A week later, Rep. Grayson asked a court to annul the marriage on the basis of bigamy.
Mr. Grayson is refusing to support his family because he is claiming that she was never divorced from her first husband and therefore their marriage was never legitimate.
Mrs. Grayson told WFTV 9 Orlando she never thought she would be on food stamps or have her kids on the school lunch, because her husband was "the sole provider," she said. "I don't have any money at all. He's been holding all our money for years and years."
The congressman's lawyers dismiss the claim saying that she is abusing public funds, saying that he is still paying the mortgage and phone bills. They are calling it an Election Day ploy to hurt him in the polls.
Mark Nejame, one of his lawyers, claimed that Lolita is "abusing the public."
"She's going out and asking for support because she can't support herself on $120,000? That's outrageous," Nejame said.
Despite these claims, Lolita Grayson maintains that the house is in disrepair with mold. "I'm doing this for me and our children, not for him, because I would like to have a good life again," she concluded.

Annuling a 29-year marriage. Wife and kids on food stamps. House (w/$120k annual mortgage) is in disrepair with a leaky septic system and mold. Grayson is the 17th richest member of congress.
A role model and standard bearer for his Democrat constituency.

Even the family under the bus. Just can't make up this stuff in allegory of what happens when the Donks runs things whether family or nation, huh? /rhet question

Must have been love because the hatred seemingly runs deep???
Anyhoo, iff Grayson hopes to save his rep he should prob release financial statements to the public. I agree wid #3 - John Q. Public/Voter isn't going to stand for marriages being annulled after 29 years + wid Kiddies involved.

Me, I'm waiting for the second coming of the Scopes trial, where Harry Reid is cast in the roll of the monkey and Obe is cast as the Modernists, who said evolution was not inconsistent with religion (Mooselimb, of course).
Free popcorn is available in the Lobby for anyone who can name the 57 States of the United States, without consulting Goooooogle.

And there's a signed receipt. Who signed the receipt?
With the DoJ and courts as corrupted as they have become I fear that we are no longer a country with the "rule of law" and I see no way to regain it. A new administration could not follow the laws as currently written and clean out the rot. The rot has gone so far that short of a generation long electoral tidal wave that replaces all politicians with quality people it can't be fixed. Even then it would take those new politicians decades to cut down all the corrupt judges and bureaucrats and their supporting institutions.

So did I Darth, but my naive optimistic streak kept creeping in.
EH that's called normal human behavior. The FF tried to create a gov't that would be proof against the worst in human nature. Eventually it was overwhelmed.

Although it might be as bas as AlanC says I suspect many corrupt judges would retire to be with their family long before investigations found anything. So justice might not happen but the cleanup might be faster than expected.

"it's been alleged that Harry Reid us a pederast"
That's been around for a while, and apparently there's some credible evidence.
'However', unless one of the national media outlets can see beyond their collective blinders and actually do some valid research, it might as well be an undocumented unicorn sighting.

It wont matter after the elections. If the find them and open them the media will call it retribution. Dems have pulled a successful end run on the system. Criminal.

Not only did the dog eat the complaint, the dog has now eaten the link.
[Real Clear Politics] At a Tuesday evening campaign event for Mary Burke, Democratic nominee for governor of Wisconsin, President Barack Obama I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money... encouraged voters to participate in early voting.
"One week, Wisconsin. One week. One week from today you get to choose a new governor. And because early voting runs through this Friday, you don't have to wait until election day," Obama told the crowd in Milwaukee.
"You can vote all week," Obama added.
"I mean you can only vote once, this isn't reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,... now," Obama told the crowd, laughing.
"I'm teasing Chicago, I'm messing with you. That was a long time ago," Obama added.

Well Obe, you should know, you probably have voted several times in an election in Chicago; after all you have all those other aliases, Barry Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barack Soetoro, Barry Dunham, and Barack Dunham.

"I'm teasing Chicago, I'm messing with you. That was a long time ago," Obama added.
The 'straight man' please. No teasing, no grab arse or fok'n around as president. I don't need it. Neither does anyone else. And it wasn't "a long time ago."
[DAILYCALLER] The pro-amnesty Hispanic activist organization the National Council of La Raza helpfully promoted a Washington Post article explaining which states people can vote in without having to use a photo ID.
"Voter ID laws are at-issue across the country, with newly Republican-controlled legislatures having passed them in numerous states after the 2010 election," explained The Washington Post's Aaron Blake. "Most states still request some form of ID, but don't require it. Another 20 states don't require identification. In case you're wondering where your state is at in all of this, a helpful (sic) graphic from the Post's graphics team."
So who ended up using the Post's helpful graphic? The country's foremost pro-amnesty Hispanic immigrant organization.
The reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ... home of Al Capone, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel,... chapter of Asian Americans Advancing Justice tweeted Blake's article with the message, "Reminder -- #Illinois does NOT require #voterID to cast a ballot," along with the pro-Democrat hashtag #TurnOutForWhat. The tweet was helpfully retweeted by the National Council of La Raza.

La Raza is also promoting renaming Los Angeles - New Mexico City - but I guess that topic should be reserved for another time.

Their charts is in error. Have to have a voter ID card in NM, otherwise it goes to a 'provisional ballot' which has to be validated with some ID before counted within so many days of the election. Otherwise, its thrown out. Used my ID yesterday. Also used a paper mark sense form, no touch screens.

We have this group or that group bitching for this or that thing in this country. We end us with a Balkanization of the U.S. The U.S. doesn't exist anymore. It is just a bunch of carping groups yelling for what they want for their particular group. Most of the time it doesn't even make sense. Amnesty for illegals. Muslim's complaining about everything they perceive as an insult (which is just about everything). Some asshole goes jihad and CAIR worries about his rights. Gay mayors coming down hard on Christians. Druggies wanting their government sanctioned drugs. Liberal cities declaring they are sanctuary cities for illegals. Liberal cities turned into cesspools. I guess this article caught me in a foul mood this a.m.

"He who cannot be named" or "He who is not without an alias, questionable heritage and provenance" i.e. Barry Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barack Soetoro, Barry Dunham, and Barack Dunham
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
