[NYPOST] New Yorkers got yet another reminder Wednesday of how police officers keep them safe — at repeated risks to their own lives: Two cops apprehended the hammer-wielding maniac who’d randomly attacked four people in Midtown over 48 hours. But they voted their mayor into office. Now he's trying to take his prescription for anarchy national.
Most of them didn't bother to vote, I understand. So they didn't vote against what turned out to be a really, really bad idea.
Spotting a man who fit the suspect’s description, Officers Lauren O’Rourke and Geraldo Casaigne started following him.
Suddenly, he turned around and struck O’Rourke twice, once in the back of her neck, with the infamous hammer. Casaigne fired four shots, bringing down the suspect — possibly saving his partner’s life.
This in a week when the NYPD is scrambling to address a crime spike in Central Park and an even more troubling rise in shootings across the city — and Mayor Bill de Blasio is off on a nationwide tour to bask in the admiration of his fellow progressives.
Which is why New Yorkers support the cops a lot more than they do the mayor. In this week’s Quinnipiac poll, his approval sank to 44 percent; the NYPD’s stands at 56 percent.
And backing for the police grows when people look at what’s actually happening on the streets. Do you approve of how cops in your neighborhood are doing their job? By 69 percent to 26 percent, the public says yes.
The approval stretches across racial, political and age lines.

These Progressive politicians (de Blasio, Obama, and erstwhile Holder, etc.) in office have fanned the flames racism and against police officers and they have seen a crime spike in NYC and the country. Is anyone really surprised?

So AG Lynch is going to investigate the Baltimore Police that are under the direct control of Democrat black City Council, Mayor, and Police Chief.
So how is that going to work out? If you condemn the police force, then you are saying that the city cannot control their police. Lynch better let this one die on the vine.

[TAMPABAY] U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, the outspoken, populist Democrat who thunders against Wall Street fat cats, and used to to joke about Willard Mitt Romney ...former governor of Massachussetts, the Publican nominee for president in 2012. He is the son of the former governor of Michigan, George Romney, who himself ran for president after saving American Motors from failure, though not permanently. Romney has a record as a successful businessman, heading Bain Capital, and he rescued the 2002 Winter Olympics from the midst of bribery and mismanagement scandals.... 's low tax bill, incorporated a couple hedge funds in the Cayman Islands so investors could avoid taxes.
Grayson Fund Ltd. and Grayson Master Fund were incorporated in 2011 in the Cayman Islands, a well known tax Haven that Romney used as well, records show.. That was the same year he wrote in the Huffington Post that the IRS ...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies... should audit every Fortune 500 company because so many appear to be "evading taxes through transfer pricing and offshore tax havens."
In a phone interview Wednesday, Grayson said the funds were incorporated in Grand Cayman at the advice of an attorney he declined to name. It was a vehicle for foreign investors to invest in his funds while limiting their tax liabilities, he said, but no money had been invested in them yet.
"There are no investors in those funds or that fund as the case may be," said Grayson, who said he thought only one fund was incorporated in the Caymans.
"When I set up my investment funds I set it up like everyone else," Grayson said, complaining about the Tampa Bay Times looking for "some stupid, bull---- story. ... You want to write sh-- about it, and you can't because not a single dollar of taxes has been avoided," he snapped.

We do not need leaders like Trump. He talks a good game, but a political sociopath this country does not need. Same with Christie. I am sick of these people.

If any man knows about buying influence, it's the Donald. That says about as much as needs to be said about why all those donations to the foundation. Utter corruption.

Lesse... a thief steals some money, and then gives it to some other thieves. In the mob, that's known as the payout. Also called wetting your beak.
Who says there's no honor among thieves?

[WASHINGTONPOST] Former Maryland governor Martin O'Malley ...former Democratic governor of Maryland and aspiring presidential candidate, known locally as The One-Man Economic Wrecking Crew. O'Malley was elected to his second term driven by union support and near-Stalinesque vote margins in Baltimore city (82%) and Prince George's County (88%)... , who has been ramping up for a potential White House bid, plans to make an announcement about his political future on May 30 in Baltimore, aides said Wednesday. O'Malley is awe-inspiringly unqualified to be president. Period. That means there's a good chance the Dems will run him.
O'Malley, who is widely expected to run for the Democratic nomination, will tell donors and other supporters about the announcement in a conference call scheduled for Thursday night, according to aides who requested anonymity in order to speak more freely. Two words: Rain tax.
The aides expect O'Malley to say he is inclined to run but to remain somewhat circumspect about his intentions. Were he to tell them outright that he plans to enter the race, he could trigger a 15-day window that would require him to file candidacy papers before May 30.
An email alerting O'Malley supporters to Thursday night's call promised "an important update on his imminent 2016 plans." People familiar with the planning said several locations within Baltimore have been under consideration for the May 30 event.

I hear his campaign party starting in Baltimore will be a 'riot'.
[THEDAILYBEAST] Marco Rubio proved he can hang with the big hawks in his first foreign policy speech since he declared his run for president.
The student has now become the teacher.
Sen. Marco Rubio, once viewed as a protege of presidential competitor Jeb Bush, schooled the former Florida governor Wednesday evening in the first national security address of his national campaign.

The failure was assuming 'democracy' is natural and exportable while ignoring that you had already slipped in to an oligarchy yourself. Remove the 'nobility' and substitute the practical when deciding where and when to fight.
WASHINGTON (Tribune News Service) -- The Fraternal Order of Police, the world's largest organization of law enforcement officers, is objecting to parts of Sen. Claire McCaskill's bill coordinating federal programs on the use of surplus military equipment and other aid to local police departments.
McCaskill, D-Mo., introduced her bill last week as an answer to police "militarization" claims made in the response to unrest in Ferguson last summer after the shooting death of Michael Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.
Whose law would the 'federal police' enforce? State law? Local ordinances? Or would we then have to have federal laws for every burg, village, county and township in the country? Hmmm, wonder what the Democrats would say...
...no, I don't wonder at all.
The bill also would bar small police departments, those with fewer than 10 sworn officers, from purchasing more than one military tactical vehicle.
There isn't a police department in the country that needs even one. Let the state police own a few. Otherwise military vehicles belong to the military.
Departments with fewer than 35 officers would not able to obtain federal funding for SWAT equipment unless they teamed up with other agencies to form regional SWAT teams. Hotlines would be set up to receive reports from the public on the misuse of funds and equipment, and police departments would have to publish their requests for grant funding for certain equipment, such as tactical vehicles, camouflage, flash bang grenades and weapons over a certain caliber.

The Democrats want this? Good reason to vehemently oppose it since they want to destroy freedom, control everything down to your last breath, and squeeze the life out of everything and everybody.
US President Barack Obama said on Thursday he continues to believe a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians was "absolutely vital" for achieving Middle East peace. I wonder which "Middle East Peace" does he mean: Peace in Syria, Peace in Libya, Peace in Iraq, Peace in Yemen, Peace in Tunisia? Maybe Peace between Bill & Huma?

In mean, we all know peace is just around the corner, right?

Obama either doesn't get it which I don't think is true or he is allied with the Palestinians and the Muslims. The Muslims could get all of Israel and they still wouldn't fvcking be satisfied. And there still wouldn't be peace. Screw him and them.

No sense getting worked up. It will all be moot when the Iranians nuke Tel Aviv. Besides, it's not like anyone really cares about the Paleos, except as a way to annoy Israel.
