Gary Johnson was on the Adam Corolla Podcast (Trump and Cruz were a couple of months ago) and I liked what he said.
I think voters are smart enough to know when they live in a battleground state or not. Those in California, NY and other super-blue states can probably safely vote Libertarian without costing the election.

One wonders is this is yet another symptom in real time of the metastasizing cancer in the body politic. The established elites inside the beltway have really become disconnected from the bulk of the nation, the coastists (left coast and right) cannot fathom that fundamental expectations have not been met as they have heaped on regulation, confiscatory taxation, political correctness, gay agenda, minority rights, educational vapidity, and deindustrialization that has left the working class increasingly hopeless.
Trump represents the growing "fuck-it, it can't be worse than this crap" attitude of a great number of white men and their families who see their heritage squandered and pilfered to buy votes from imported aliens. This in the national petrie dish for violence protest and civil unrest, not by oppressed minorities or clueless students but angry citizens who despair that the American dream is dead!

No doubt his supporters are a good portion of the 1/3rd of Americans who think boycotting Israel is legitimate, versus the 2/3rds who think it blatant antisemitism.
