[Gateway Pundit] Secretary of State Hillary Clinton knew that the US was sending arms from Libya to Syria back in 2011, a year before the Benghazi consulate attacks.
Hillary Clinton denied she knew about the weapons shipments during public testimony (under oath) in early 2013 after the Benghazi terrorist attack.
Senator Rand Paul questioned Hillary Clinton about this gun running program back in January 2013 during her testimony on the Benghazi terrorist attack.
On Tuesday Julian Assange told Democracy Now that the Wikileaks DNC emails contains information on the weapons shipments to Syria.
Julian Assange: "So, those Hillary Clinton emails, they connect together with the cables that we have published of Hillary Clinton, creating a rich picture of how Hillary Clinton performs in office, but, more broadly, how the U.S. Department of State operates. So, for example, the disastrous, absolutely disastrous intervention in Libya, the destruction of the Gaddafi government, which led to the occupation of ISIS of large segments of that country, weapons flows going over to Syria, being pushed by Hillary Clinton, into jihadists within Syria, including ISIS, that’s there in those emails. There’s more than 1,700 emails in Hillary Clinton’s collection, that we have released, just about Libya alone."

the DNC emails (about 20k) that were hacked were released but there are NONE from Hillary to an individual in the DNC --- there are many that are about Hillary or support Hillary or mention Hillary but none from her

Still waiting for those emails that will put Hillary away....

Your kidding right? Hillary could be caught red-handed with a dead hooker and a dead kid in her bed and would still be applauded in the media for embracing alternate sexual expressions.

As I mentioned to someone this morning, if you were Vlad and wanted to powerfully convince Hilda that you were in possession of things that would destroy her, the release of carefully culled emails that were "danger close" but not actually 1st person on this, as well as assurances that the State emails and the CLinton Foundation emails were also in my files, this is how it would look. That there were 0 emails from her to the DNC while she was the leading political candidate of that party for President is just too odd not to be clear evidence that this was carefully designed to intimidate but not destroy. It sent the clear message that they were not to be misjudged about ruthlessness...typical KGB old school. Pure Vlad
[ABC] Retired Marine Corps Gen. John Allen said that if Republican nominee Donald Trump becomes president and follows through on some of the things he's said on the campaign trail, the U.S. could face a "civil military crisis, the like of which we've not seen in this country."
"When we swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution, which is a document and a set of principles and it supports the rule of law, one of those is to ensure that we do not obey illegal orders," Allen told told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week."
In the past, Trump has supported the use of waterboarding and other enhanced interrogation techniques, and has said the military should kill the families of alleged terrorists.
"He's talked about needing to torture. He's talked about needing to murder the families of alleged terrorists," Allen said. "He's talked about carpet-bombing ISIL. Who do you think is going to carpet-bombed when all that occurs? It's going to be innocent families."
Were Trump to order such things, Allen said, he would be ordering illegal actions.
"What we need to do is ensure that we don't create an environment that puts us on a track conceivably where the United States military finds itself in a civil military crisis with a commander in chief who would have us do illegal things," Allen said.

I don't agree with the man, bur let's get it right (unlike the Left). In uniform and in service, Winfield Scott ran for the Presidency. In the 19th Century you had Washington, Harrison, Jackson et al taking turns on a pattern of military service to the office. In fact it was general Zachary Taylor who commanded the Northern theater in the Mexican American war who would become President. Scott would take Mexico City, but Taylor would win Washington.
The separation of the military leaders from politics is something that evolved in the 20th Century. Even then you better believe that Eisenhower had to be a politician while in uniform to deal with the egos of Churchill and de Gaulle.

#2 I wonder what they have on him?
Posted by: One Eyed Fleatle6138 Other than the Jill Kelly e-mails, not much. I think Allen's personal ambition caused him to actually pursue and suck up to them. He was a failure in Afghanistan and Iraq and the stinky brown on his perfumed prince nose is an embarrassment.

The problem here is Allen has always been a politician. That is how he made General. His peers despised him. He live at the Pentagon and in the DC circles. All of this and his decision making processes are flawed.

Yeah. He is a jackass.
Hillary confiscating weapons could become a civil military crises, dumbass.
[CityWeekly] In charging documents filed in 2014 by Davis County and the Salt Lake County district attorneys, prosecutors laid out a series of email exchanges between Johnson, Swallow and the late Provo payday-loan magnate Richard Rawle. The charging documents allege that Swallow was helping Johnson send funds through Rawle to a contact close to Reid in hopes of securing a meeting with the senator. Johnson claimed he needed Reid’s help to make a Federal Trade Commission case against him disappear. According to court documents, Johnson sent Rawle $250,000, some of which allegedly went to Swallow.
Reid’s Washington, D.C., press office did not respond to two requests by City Weekly for comment on the investigation, but the senator's spokesperson has previously denied any allegations connecting the senator to Johnson and the Utah Attorney General’s Office.
Senator Reid's political position would provide some protection when it comes to a civil prosecution, but not a criminal one. 'Just because Reid is in the Senate doesn’t give him any immunity,' the legal source says. 'If you violate Utah's criminal law, too bad. The fact that you’re a U.S. Senator doesn’t shield you from that.'"

'Just because Reid is in the Senate doesn’t give him any immunity'
So it must be because of his rank in the Temple?
$250k for a meeting seems like Hilarity rates.

actually being in the Senate (or House for that matter) gives immunity for anything done in a speech by the Constitution (Art 1, Sec 6) and courts have expanded that to cover all 'legislative acts'
there are various, not entirely consistent ruling by different courts on what is a 'legislative act'

'Just because Reid is in the Senate doesn’t give him any immunity,'
I don't know about that. I just saw what seemed like an air-tight case against Hillary outlined by Comey essentially "disappear" after Slick Willy had a secret meeting with Lynch in an airplane in Phoenix.

I believe the senate immunity only applies when the speech is done on the Senate floor. Harry Reid used to be very careful to make his various accusations from the senate floor.
