[DAILYCALLER] Hundreds of non-citizens are registered to vote in Ohio and some have even cast ballots, a state investigation of its voter rolls reveals.
Ah ha! So THAT'S how Trump won Ohio!
According to Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted, his office has identified a total of 821 non-citizens registered to vote in the Buckeye State since 2011 -- 126 of whom voted in at least one election.
"In light of the national discussion about illegal voting it is important to inform our discussions with facts," Husted said in a statement. "The fact is voter fraud happens, it is rare and when it happens, we hold people accountable."
Husted’s office has conducted reviews of Ohio’s Statewide Registered Voter Database (SWRVD) three times. The 821 non-citizens registered to vote and the 126 non-citizen voters represent the most recent total of the three reviews.
The secretary of state announced Monday that this year his office discovered 385 non-citizens registered to vote in Ohio, 82 of whom have cast at least one ballot. In 2013, Husted’s office uncovered 291 non-citizens registered to vote and found another 145 in 2015. Of those non-citizens registered to vote, the office found 17 had voted in 2013 and 27 voted in 2015.
Very good. Prosecute them, convict them, jail them, expel them -- the Justice Department won't get in your way anymore. While doing that, review the database for imaginary Ohioans, multiply registered Ohioans, and dead Ohioans, and after clearing them out of the database, go after those who put them there and voted in their names.

Keep looking. This is only the tip of the iceberg, I'm sure.
[BREITBART] President Donald Trump had lunch with the top television anchors in the mainstream media — a presidential tradition before a major address to Congress. CNN’s Jake Tapper, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Wolf Blitzer of CNN, and MSNBC’s Chuck Todd were spotted going into the White House for the lunch, as well as Fox News hosts Bret Baier and Chris Wallace.

[FREEBEACON] Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe vetoed a bill that would require investigations of jurisdictions in the state whose voter rolls contain more registered voters than citizens who are eligible to vote.
The bill, first introduced by Republican state Sen. Mark D. Obenshain, was prompted by a report that shed light on eight Virginia counties that had more registered voters on their voter rolls than eligible voters.
Obenshain's bill would require "the local electoral boards to direct the general registrars to investigate the list of persons voting at an election whenever the number of persons voting at any election in a county or city exceeds the number of persons registered to vote in that county or city," according to its summary. "The Department of Elections is required to provide certain data to any general registrar conducting such an investigation for the registrar's use during the investigation. The local electoral boards are required to make reports of the findings to the State Board. These reports are public documents."
McAuliffe, who vetoed the bill on Friday, claimed that the bill "would increase the administrative burden on local election officials" in his veto statement.
"By requiring 133 individual general registrars to conduct an investigation of voters under undefined standards, this bill raises serious constitutional questions," McAuliffe said in a statement. "It could expose eligible and properly registered Virginians to the risk of improper disenfranchisement."

Then set a date late this year to wipe all voter rolls and start from zero, before the next years election cycle.

Perhaps FBI probes should be looked into more deeply involving McCauliffe's dealings such as the Clinton Foundation, campaign financing, pizzagate and Dr. Melgen and Casa de Campo relationships.
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] President Trump will not receive a handshake from at least one senior House Democrat, the politician announced hours before Trump's first speech before a joint session of Congress.
"The president needs to work with all people and therefore I will listen to what he has to say today, but I will not greet him and shake his hand," New York Rep. Eliot Engel, the top Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said during a brief speech on the House floor.
Engel, like several other politicians, has a long history of taking a seat on the aisle during State of the Union addresses; the positioning ensures that they are seen on television greeting the president as he enters and exits the joint session. But Engel intends the snub as a a rebuke of Trump's attacks on the media, lack of support for investigating the Russia-linked cyberattacks against the Democratic party during the 2016 elections, and other policy disagreements, he said.

Apparently the Dems weren't even listening because it looked like they had to be reminded to clap about stuff they normally approve of.
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Sen. Dianne Feinstein ...Dem Senator-for-Life from Caliphornica. She has been a politician since about the time she was weaned. Feinstein was the author of the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban, and tried it a second time in 2012. Feinstein has chaired the Select Committee on Intelligence since 2009. At age 80, Feinstein is the oldest currently serving United States Senator.... , the ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Tuesday she’s lodged a number of requests for more information from Judge Neil Gorsuch before the panel considers his Supreme Court nomination.
Ms. Feinstein sent Judge Gorsuch a letter last Wednesday asking whether he played a role during his time in the Justice Department on ten high-profile cases, including Guantanamo Bay detainees, U.S. torture policy, partial birth abortion and warrantless wiretapping.
Judge Gorsuch was principal deputy associate attorney general from 2005 to 2006.
Mrs. Feinstein also asked Judge Gorsuch to list significant cases, policies and initiatives where he "assisted in the development and implementation." And she sent a separate letter asking about his involvement with the Republican National Lawyers Association and the association’s Judicial Confirmation Task Force.
Judge Gorsuch is expected to appear before the committee for his confirmation hearing on March 20.

I'm not in the legal field, but that doesn't sound like the sort of thing that's the purview of a judge.
[POLITICO] Barack Obama I inhaled. That was the point... is getting closer to making his public reappearance in politics, his friend and former Attorney General Eric Inaction Jackson Holder ... aka Mister Fast and Furious... said on Tuesday. The land of the eternal campaign...
Holder said he’s been talking to the former president about ways -- including fundraising and interacting with state politicians -- that could help the new National Democratic Redistricting Committee, which Obama asked Holder to chair last year.
"It’s coming. He’s coming," Holder said, speaking to news hounds at a briefing for the new group. "And he’s ready to roll."
Throughout, Holder said, Obama "will be a more visible part of the effort."
Holder also predicted that the usual pattern of the party in the White House losing state legislative seats in off-year elections would hold next year, but "I expect we’ll see that on steroids with President Trump."
The NDRC is looking to be an intensified central force for Democrats to tackle their disadvantage in gerrymandering. The mission is to direct resources into winning targeted state elections, push ballot initiatives for nonpartisan district-drawing commissions and wage legal challenges to existing maps. The hope is that this would put Democrats in a stronger position in state houses, but also in the U.S. House of Representatives, if districts are drawn that more accurately represent the distribution of the popular vote, citing statistics that showed Republicans winning 49 percent of the vote in those elections but getting 55 percent of the seats in the 2016 elections.

[THEHILL] Rep. Comrade Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) says she will skip President Trump’s address to Congress Tuesday night, according to ABC News.
Waters's office confirmed to The Hill that she will not attend the speech, but denied that she has encouraged other members to skip as well.
The Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Democrat similarly refused to attend Trump’s inauguration in January, saying she "never contemplated even going near any of those activities." Nearly 70 other Democratic politicians also skipped the ceremony.
"I don’t honor him, I don’t respect him and I don’t want to be involved with him," Waters said at the time.
Waters has positioned herself as a staunch opponent of the president. She said earlier this month that her "greatest desire is to lead [Trump] right into impeachment."

Gamers who love playing esoteric card games are a pretty geeky bunch. They enjoy wrapping their brain cells around games which come with actual booklets to explain byzantine rules.
I know this because I’m married to one.
One card game is gaining a certain amount of notoriety because the game designers just sent a copy to all 100 U.S. Senators.
It’s called "Secret Hitler," a game that "models the rise of fascism in a democracy."
Here’s a brief explanation of how the game is played.

The irony of this is that the folks who think that Trump is Hitler would have been the first in line to congratulate Neville Chamberlain for bringing back "peace in our time", would have called Munich a great diplomatic achievement, and would have derided Churchill as a washed-up warmonger.

I recall an email in the trove of Podesta emails which said the following in reference to Obama's secret agreement with Iran:
On Jul 15, 2015 5:21 PM, "John Anzalone" wrote:

[DAILYCALLER] President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... will ask Congress to cut the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) budget 24 percent, or nearly $2 billion, according to sources familiar with the budget plans.
The White House sent draft budget plans to agency heads Monday, detailing billions of dollars in cuts to a wide range of federal programs. Cuts to EPA and other agencies will fund a $54 billion increase in defense spending.
A source informed of the budget plans told E&E News Trump will push for a nearly $2 billion cut to EPA’s $8.1 billion budget. A source told Politico Trump also "proposed reducing EPA’s 15,000-strong workforce to 12,000, a level not seen since the mid-1980s."
"You’re going to have to make reductions," Myron Ebell, director of global warming and energy policy at the libertarian Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
"There’s going to have to be some serious thought here," said Ebell, who headed Trump’s EPA transition team. "They’re going to have to figure out to make these cuts."
Trump’s plan to cut EPA’ budget 24 percent mirrors recommendations given to him by the agency transition team. That plan advised cuts outside of state and tribal grants, which make up about 43 percent of EPA’s budget.

[UPI] The Senate confirmed billionaire Wilbur Ross Jr., a former investor who aims to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement, as secretary of commerce. The Senate confirmed Ross with a 72-27 vote Monday. His top priority is expected be renegotiating NAFTA -- a Trump campaign pledge. During his confirmation hearings in January, he said "all aspects" of NAFTA could be renegotiated.

[THEHILL] Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Tuesday that a budget that slashes State Department funding likely wouldn't clear the Senate.
Asked if a budget that cuts the agency’s funding by roughly a third could pass the upper chamber, McConnell told news hounds "probably not."
"When we get to funding the government, obviously it will be done on a bipartisan basis," he said.
Protecting the phony-baloney jobs is always a bipartisan job...
The Wall Street Journal reported that the Trump administration’s budget would cut the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development by roughly 37 percent.
Stressing that he was speaking for himself and not the caucus, McConnell added that the "diplomatic portion of the federal budget is very important."
"I'm not in favor of cutting what we call the 150 account by that amount," he said.
The 150 account includes international affairs funding.
Trump's first budget is coming under fire from several GOP politicians.
Sen. Lindsey Graham ... the endangered South Carolina RINO... (R-S.C.) told NBC News that it was "dead on arrival." Meanwhile, ...back at the wreckage, Captain Poindexter wished he had a cup of coffee. Even instant would do... Sen. John Maverick McCain ... the Senator-for-Life from Arizona, former presidential candidate and even more former foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution. As an ordinary citizen he greased the infamous hookers peeing on the Obamabed in Moscow dossier in an attempt to smear President Trump... (R-Ariz.) has knocked it over its level of defense spending.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), the Harry Reid of the Republican Party. Give a try at passing these budget cuts in the Senate; you won't know whether they will pass if you don't put it to the vote. So McConnell really doesn't want to drain the swamp. He can be replaced when he comes up again for election.
