[American Thinker] It is widely known and accepted that Russian elements have repeatedly exposed vulnerabilities in American infrastructure networks. A hacker known as "Guccifer 2.0," who according to the Daily Beast was an officer of Russia’s military intelligence directorate (GRU), has taken credit for providing WikiLeaks with stolen emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
The US Government was also notified in 2015 by Israeli intelligence that Kaspersky Labs, a multinational cybersecurity and anti-virus software producer ran by Vladimir Putin Crony Eugene Kaspersky, had accessed sensitive information from the laptop of an NSA contractor.
The fact is, our intelligence has been aware of the constant Russian cyber-attacks for several years. In an effort to combat potential exposure of national secrets, the State Department has had policy in place since 2005 warning officials against the use of personal email accounts for government work.
That Hillary Clinton could maintain an unsecured server for most of her 4 years as Secretary of State seems to validate many of the popularized "deep state" conspiracy theories that have floated around the political right the past few years. Furthermore, apart from Guccifer 2.0’s Russian government link and stolen email exposure from a DNC hack, other involvement may be associated with malware, which was uncovered as a Chinese open-source tool.
Skipping down to the BLUF:
With rampant speculation about the Clinton monetization of the State Department in light of the Uranium One deal swirling, this question of whether keeping the server unprotected was to aid in the dissemination of American secrets to the international benefactors of the Clinton Foundation must be addressed.

The idea of establishing a clandestine email and classified message "leak machine" never occurred to me. It should have however, it should have. This requires serious investigation and not by the congress.
While we're at it, could we have another look at the DNC IT support piece provided by the Paki Awan Bros. please? It did go on for nearly a decade. No sense doing just half a load of laundry is there ?

No. Her arrogance, selfish evil practices and Nixonian paranoia are why she had the server

The Clintons are all about amassing money. Just leaving the server "open (insecure)" would allow anyone to access the server without the attendant flow of cash. How does she monetize this open-server arrangement? It ought to be investigated to be sure--hopefully, that is being done.
[DAWN] US President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... called for the prosecution of former FBI chief James Comey on Friday, unleashing a vitriolic response to the lawman's tell-all memoir.
Trump branded Comey weak, a "LEAKER & LIAR" and an untruthful "slime ball" in a two-part Twitter tirade, as the first reports of the ex-FBI boss' highly critical 300-plus-page book emerged.
News organizations including AFP obtained copies of the manuscript, in which Comey portrays Trump as an egomaniac ‐ "unethical, and untethered to truth and institutional values."
The book is due to be released on Tuesday, but Comey has already appeared on television to promote it and the White House has been strategizing for weeks about how to discredit him.

I have zero faith that Jeff Sessions will do anything to rock the boat - get Gowdy in there ASAP.
Plus - Trump's an egomaniac? Anyone that's taken business courses could tell you many, many CEO's share that trait.
...and the White House has been strategizing for weeks about how to discredit him.
I'd say -let Comey keep talking & talking; that ought to do it.
[The Hill] Former Attorney General Eric Holder slammed the Trump administration at an event for Democrats in Ohio on Friday, accusing the president and Republicans of allowing "rampant corruption" to go on in the Cabinet.
In remarks to Democrats Friday night that were first reported by the Washington Examiner, the Obama-era attorney general accused congressional Republicans of abandoning their duties of oversight over the executive branch.
"There is rampant corruption within the Trump Cabinet, but a Congress full of Republicans is simply unwilling to conduct oversight or to hold them accountable," Holder said.
Holder didn't go into further detail about his criticism, but his remarks come amid a series of damaging news reports surrounding EPA administrator Scott Pruitt, who is accused of living for months in a condo owned in part by the wife of a top energy lobbyist and directing staff to approve raises for longtime aides even after the White House rejected the pay increases.
Pruitt is only the latest Cabinet member to be accused of questionable financial decisions.
In his remarks, Holder also attacked the Trump administration's decision to exit the Paris climate accord, as well as the degradation of NATO alliances.
"Decades old ‐ and effective ‐ alliances have been questioned. The effectiveness of the North Atlantic compact that has ensured peace ‐ and prosperity ‐ for over seventy years, and after the bloodiest century in the history of mankind, is now doubted," he said.

At least Eric Holder and I agree on one thing: Corrupt politicians are the lowest of the low and should be buried in full porta-potties when they die.

In 2016, over 64,000 Americans died from overdoses, 21 percent more than the almost 53,000 in 2015.[6][8][9] By comparison, the figure was 16,000 in 2010, and 4,000 in 1999.
Besides gun running for the Sinaloa Cartel, under you and mr snort himself, Obama, opiod deaths as a result of open borders drug running operations into this country under your guidance has become an epidemic, you sewer rat.

Remember how in order for Obama to get the JCPOA nuclear agreement with Iran and win the Nobel peace prize,
Barack Hussein Obama II had to order AG Eric Holder to reign in the ambitious U.S. task force known as Project Cassandra
targeting Hezbollah's billion-dollar criminal enterprise
because it ran headlong into the White House's desire for a nuclear deal with Iran.

Who knew there are 435 Republicans in the House? No wonder we can't get anything done!

I wonder what Mattis thinks about this accusation. I wonder what Holder would think about spending five minutes in a locked room with Mattis.

My understanding is that Secretary Pruitt's housing was approved by the ethics office. What is the purpose of an ethics office if its advice and counsel doesn't protect against claims of impropriety?

What hubris on the part of Holder; the guy tagged with perjury over F & F and a part of the most corrupt admin. in our history. Could have been titled: "Holder drops MOAB (Mother-Of-All-Bullshit)."
[BigLeaguePolitics] White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was on her game Friday, trashing disgraced former FBI director James Comey.
Sanders’ entire takedown of Comey needs to be watched to be appreciated. Here is a clip of her stinging denunciation of the Deep State anti-President Trump conspirator: VIDEO
[BigLeaguePolitics] Federal authorities say that the investigation of President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen is not even related to President Trump.
This latest development casts further doubt on the entire "Obamagate"-related investigations into Trump’s team, making it clear that these investigations are more about bullying Trump’s inner circle and not really about law and order.
Federal prosecutors admitted as much.
USA Today reports: 'Federal prosecutors on Friday said President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen is the target of a "months-long" criminal investigation that centers on Cohen’s own business dealings rather than his legal work on Trump’s behalf. The information gathered so far in the probe suggests "that the overwhelming majority of evidence" FBI agents seized from Cohen in a raid this week will not contain privileged attorney-client communications between Cohen and Trump but will relate to Cohen’s "personal business dealings and finances," federal lawyers said in court documents. The Friday afternoon filing came in response to Cohen’s emergency request to block the Justice Department from using materials the FBI seized earlier this week in an extraordinary raid of his offices, home and hotel room.' Aside of decimating his support structure at every possible level, absolutely nothing.
