[Townhall] "Speaking at an event honoring the late Nelson Mandela ahead of the 100th anniversary of his birth... former president Barack Obama lamented the rise of "strongman politics" and "the utter loss of shame" among political leaders who repeatedly lie... during a speech Tuesday in South Africa that was widely seen as aimed in part at his successor (Trump) (WaPo).
And speaking of "strongmen"-- let’s survey some of Nelson Mandela’s most heartfelt proclamations:
"Che Guevara is an inspiration for every human being who loves freedom."
"The cause of communism is the greatest cause in the history of mankind!"
"There’s one place where Fidel Castro stands out head and shoulders above the rest ‐ that is in his love for human rights and liberty!"
Just for fun, let’s now review some observations by the man who so "inspired" Nelson Mandela:
"The Negro is indolent and spends his money on frivolities and drink, the European is forward-looking, organized and intelligent...The Negro has maintained his racial purity by his well known habit of avoiding baths." (Che Guevara.)
"Mexicans are mostly a rabble of illiterate Indians." (Che Guevara)

Oh, the media knew but wouldn't say and the old right was timid. The media is still with us but the old right does not yet realize they are hammering on the inside of their coffin. We who were not fooled sealed that box.

BLUF:
[Daily Caller] The irony of Hillary Clinton critiquing Trump’s lack of a strong defense of a U.S. ambassador was not lost on Benghazi survivor Kris Paronto. Paronto is a former U.S. Army Ranger and CIA security contractor who helped extract the body of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, who lost his life when Islamic extremists raided his residence in Libya.
In total, four American lives were lost in the attack, including two members of Paronto’s team.
Paronto called Hillary "disgusting" for the comments. "Are you f*****g kidding m,e Hillary Clinton?!!!" Paronto tweeted, "You left Ambassador Stevens and us to die in Benghazi then spewed lie after lie to the family members of my dead teammates and to the world to cover it up and now you have the nerve to talk about defending diplomats?! You are disgusting!"

From one deplorable to another, I'd say this woman is completely devoid of feelings, sanity, morality or shame-- a true pyschopath. I hope the Donks use this winning issue in 2018 and 2020 (sarc).

...Waters loves the idea of people being faced with vehement -- and even intimidating -- protests over their positions, except when she's the target. Progressives tend to be that way. Violence is fine when Antifa is burning Berkley, but if guys who own guns say they're going to protest (note the word "protest," not "attack") at a progressive lawmaker's office -- as legitimate a place to demonstrate against that lawmaker as you'll find -- then suddenly society is breaking down. The key to dealing with the Left/Islam/etc... less attempts to "keep the high ground", more reciprocity Continued on Page 47

Yeah, that "right to lobby" and "right to free association," not Bill of Rights stuff but actually part of the pre-Bill Constitution.
And "dissent is the highest form of patriotism!" Until it isn't. I r3eally don't expect a hipster or millennial to get anything with so many big words in it.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
