[Right Scoop] Mark Levin makes the case for why it would be unfair and unjust to release all the details of the Mueller report in order to give Democrats more opportunities to nail Trump, when it appears that Mueller hasn’t found anything more worth indicting.

For the members of the coup it was all about taking down Donald Trump as well as to protect their own asses. These people knew what they were doing was treasonous. These people deserve the full weight of the law to come down on them. If it doesn't happen no one will have any respect for the law.

[Breitbart] Friday on Fox News Channel’s "Tucker Carlson Tonight," host Tucker Carlson reacted to reports that Department of Justice special counsel Robert Mueller was submitting his the probe’s report to Attorney General William Barr, which signified the conclusion of the probe’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Given there were no indictments tied to alleged collusion between 2016 Trump campaign officials and the Russian government, Carlson concluded the many had been misled by some who have taken to television to make claims of Trump-Russia collusion.
"The people on TV have been lying to you," Carlson said. "They will deny it now. They will tell you it was always about Trump’s taxes or some foreign real estate deal or hush money he paid to a girlfriend. That’s a crock. This investigation was always from day one about collusion with Russia. About betraying this country. They told us that for years."

The new part is that people are realizing they've been lied to. Newsreader Walter Cronkite was “the most trusted man in America” when he closed the evening news with “And that’s the way it is”. Who could doubt him when he told us the Vietnam War was a lost cause?
But it's not just the media that's lost its shine. Thanks to that usurper Trump and the unified cross-party opposition to him, our national politics have been exposed as just an upscale version of Big Time Wrestling with it's designated good guys vs bad guys and scripted story lines.
It's nothing new, but now the marks are catching on.

"The people on TV have been lying to you,"
As a child I noticed that the Nightly News was distorted. If you listen to the account of the very same event as explained by "Uncle" Cronkite (CBS) vs. Huntley & Brinkley (NBC) you would start wondering if you were hallucinating. I came to the conclusion that the entire CBS reporting was worthless for anything less apolitical than the weather forecast ... And I have less respect for them now.
[American Thinker] The corruption in South Africa is so bad, it’s like a noxious fog that has settled on a once peaceful, prosperous, and prejudiced nation. South African’s President Cyril Ramaphosa is being pilloried, pulled, and pushed from many sides, and many of the political players are more radical than he. He is busy trying to stay in power and get reelected later this year, but he has to deal with many warring factions inside and outside the African National Congress (ANC), plus the murder for hire of wayward members and multiple acts of sabotage in many major cities. Everyone seems to carry guns or has bodyguards even low-level provincial (state) leaders.
The ANC no longer stands for African National Congress but for Accumulation, Nepotism, and Cronyism. Corruption is one of the most used words by South Africans. Of course, this does not surprise anyone since one-party rule always results in cronyism, chaos, and corruption.
The corruption is ubiquitous, especially in the ANC, the political party that has been controlled by Communists from its earliest days and has governed South Africa since the end of the white minority government in 1994. The ANC is infamous for sabotage in earlier years and now that there are many factions within, it has returned to sabotage plus assassinations‐of longtime comrades. It is now a fractured party with occasional episodes of the "Shoot Out at the O.K. Corral." It seems every member in the national government and in the provinces has his hand out or worse‐even putting out contracts on fellow members with whom they serve!
The New York Times last fall published an article, "Hit Men and Power" highlighting that "corruption and divisions have flourished within the A.N.C. in recent years." It admits that too many have lost the vision of earlier years and are struggling for "influential positions and the spoils that go with them." Thus far, few of the ANC officials in charge at the national or local levels have been held to account.
But the corruption is not only in the ANC but also in every facet of the nation: the schools, local governments, utilities, the mines, the police, the unions, South African Airlines, the rail service, and the banks. Plus, the political corruption in the ANC bleeds into all areas of national and local governments. Everyone seems to demand a bribe to do anything.

Hey, Black Majority Rule for South Africa! Another Leftest/Socialist mantra. Same people who treat white majority rule (75%+ of the population) in American as nothing less than 'white supremacy'.

Reading this made me think of Dr. Christiaan Barnard who did the first successful heart transplant back in '67. Certainly troubled times, but back when South Africa was famous for something besides corruption.
[Rudaw] Five years after the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group swept across Iraq, Baghdad is bidding to reclaim its role as a regional player while walking a tightrope between rival backers the US and Iran.
The country is seeking to position itself as a "bridge" between rival powers in a region beset by deep divisions, says Iraqi political scientist Ihssan al-Shemmari.

[American Thinker] When is a genocide not a genocide? When it is a "rolling genocide." When it is an ongoing but never finished extermination of a people targeted for destruction. When it rolls on, generation after generation. When it is too profitable to bring to an end.
In ancient times, most cultures offered sacrifices to appease or honor their gods. Throughout the Old Testament, the term "burnt offering" referred to the Jewish ritual burning of crops ("firstfruits") and the sacrifice of animals ("firstborn") as an offering to God. In older translations of Scripture, the word for burnt offering was "holocaust." Contrary to common belief, the word did not originate with Hitler's "Final Solution" during World War II.
CHILD SACRIFICE FORBIDDEN BY GOD
Throughout the pre-Christian world, most cultures, Hebrew and pagan alike, included their own children in their sacrificial offerings. However, the God of the Hebrews ordered an end to this inhuman practice.
That was Abraham’s would-be sacrifice of Isaac, before the Hebrews counted any more than Abraham’s immediate family and servants. But do go on.
THE FIRST FINAL SOLUTION
In the aftermath of World War II, the word "Holocaust" took on a much larger and more dreadful meaning: the systematic slaughter of over 6 million European Jews and millions of other "undesirables" by the Nazi regime before and during World War II. The word has become synonymous with pure evil.
What do these ancient tales and distant horrors have to do with us in these enlightened times? Everything. Simply put, this is the story of Planned Parenthood and the systematic extermination of an entire people through the destruction of their own children. Since 1973, more than 18 million black children of the 60.9 million abortions (31%) have been deliberately killed. By one estimate, the black population has been reduced by more than 25% since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.

I wonder how many fewer crime victims and prison we would have had not the 'Great Society' displaced Big Brother for actual fathers. As in, ladies you'd better find a man to stick around and care for your kids before making them.

Liberal in-laws criticize me for opposing abortion and, at the same time, opposing costly federal programs to aid poor, particularly single mom, families.
"You'd rather let those babies starve than have them aborted?" they ask.
"Yep. That way, the blood is not on my hands. But, further, maybe they mamas think twice before making them."

Er, maybe their mothers would think twice before getting themselves pregnant.
You don't have to speak any particular way to be irresponsible.

#5, I've always said that I would support these programs if there were ever any evidence that they do any good at all. There is precious little on either side (which I think does tell us something); but the ones that exist, such as the Obama HHS' study of Head Start, seem to indicate that they are useless at best. THAT is why I don't support these programs.

Always wondered how things turned out for the (Harlem?) family famously photographed crossing the street. Haunting, innit? Might as well be "Ghosts along the Mississippi."
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
