Reads like another HRC/DNC/DS "Pay for Play" deal; in short, call it a "Playoff." Part of the Insurance Policy Strzok and Page emailed about. Mueller SC was also a part of the Insurance Policy scheme.
Elijah's why we call it "Baldymore."
[DAILYCALLER] The wife of House Oversight Chairman Elijah Cummings ...Representative-for-life from Maryland, representing half of Baltimore City, which makes his district ultra-safe, and most of Howard County, which is out-populated by the city. Cummings' politix are so liberal they're tedious... is facing new allegations of self-dealing and perjury following the disclosure of financial dealings between her charity and her for-profit consulting firm, according to an IRS ...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies... complaint a watchdog group filed Friday in response to a Daily Caller News Foundation report.
The National Legal and Policy Center’s complaint is an amendment to its original May 20 complaint against Maya Rockeymoore Cummings’s charity, the Center for Global Policy Solutions (CGPS), which alleged that the nonprofit’s overlapping relationship with her for-profit company, Global Policy Solutions, LLC, could have derived an "illegal private benefit" for her and her husband. "It's in my nature" said the Scorpion Democrat
The NLPC’s amended complaint filed Friday highlights the charity’s audited financial reports, first reported by TheDCNF, which detail how it paid Rockeymoore Cummings’s for-profit venture over $250,000 in "management fees" between 2013 and 2015.
TheDCNF’s report on the arrangement "increases the imperative for an immediate Internal Revenue Service investigation," the NLPC stated in its amended complaint.

"We don't need your filthy lucre!"
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Hugh F. Culverhouse Jr., a 70-year-old real estate investor and lawyer, had already given $21.5 million to the university after his pledge last September with the rest still to come. But in a news release last week, he urged students to participate in a boycott of the school.

“The action taken by the Board today was a direct result of Mr. Culverhouse’s ongoing attempts to interfere in the operations of the Law School. That was the only reason the Board voted to remove his name and return his money.
It was not really a gift but an attempt at bribery and coercion. UA does'nt make the laws in Alabama--Culverhouse, being a shyster, knows that--thus this is a grandstand play.
[NBC] The Trump administration is rejecting requests from U.S. embassies to fly the rainbow pride flag on embassy flagpoles during June, LGBTQ Pride Month, three American diplomats told NBC News.
The U.S. embassies in Israel, Germany, Brazil and Latvia are among those that have requested permission from Trump's State Department to fly the pride flag on their flagpoles and have been denied, diplomats said.
Although the pride flag can and is being flown elsewhere on embassy grounds, including inside embassies and on exterior walls, the decision not to allow it on the official flagpole stands in contrast to President Donald Trump's claim to be a leader in supporting LGBTQ rights overseas. Trump's administration has announced a campaign to decriminalize homosexuality overseas and this month issued a tweet and formal statement to "celebrate LGBT Pride Month and recognize the outstanding contributions LGBT people have made."
The denials to U.S. embassies have come from the office of the State Department's undersecretary for management, Brian Bulatao, a longtime associate of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo who also worked for him at the CIA. Under State Department policy, embassies that want to fly the flag on their flagpoles are expected to obtain permission from Washington.

There is the American Flag, and the Unit Colors. Only one flys on the pole.

Trump is correct here, the official flagpole is for official countries flags only.
Gay pride does not represent any countries, but only represent a concept. Note the article said that the gay pride flag is not banned from being displayed elsewhere on the embassies ground.

The pole is for the American flag. Full stop. You wanna have a pride flag out somewhere else, fine. Look like fucking soft idiots otherwise and a very potential target to other people.

I fully support this. No flags that don't represent the whole of the United States should fly over our embassies (I would permit flags like the Navy flag on an event such as the Navy's birthday or something, because the Navy does represent the entirety of the United States, for example). Similarly, the US embassies shouldn't fly the largely white flag with a cross that represents Christianity in the eyes of many, or the Red Cross flag, or innumerable other widely recognized flags attached to causes that are not the national government of the United States (and federal government here in the states should follow the same rules, with exceptions for the state flags those buildings are located in).
[POWERLINEBLOG] I especially like this old quote from Slow Joe: “I don’t like the Supreme Court decision on abortion. I think it went too far. I don’t think that a woman has the sole right to say what should happen to her body.”
"But if the ummm... fetus is born alive. they should make it comfortable even though it's not really a person before they... ummm... do whatever it is they do to it..."

[USNEWS] THE White House is getting a new 13-foot fence, almost double its current height, to help keep intruders out. Shoulda gone higher first time somebody hopped it.
The Secret Service says the $64 million construction project will soon begin on what eventually will be a 13-foot, 1-inch (3.96-meter) fence, including wider and stronger pickets.
The existing fence stands about 6-feet, 6 inches (1.83-meters) tall.
The Secret Service, which provides security protection for the president and the White House, declined to provide details of the state-of-the-art security features it says will be part of the new barrier.

$64 million
For a fence?! Seems just a bit spendy, even for D.C.
