Iraq
Qasem Soleimani funeral with sound track and chants of 'Death to America'
[Evening Standard] Thousands of mourners chanted "death to America" as they marched in a funeral procession through Baghdad for Iran's top general killed in a US airstrike.

General Qasem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s elite Quds force and mastermind of its regional security strategy, was killed in an airstrike overnight on Friday near the Iraqi capital’s airport .

US President Donald Trump says he ordered the strike to prevent a conflict but Iran has vowed harsh retaliation, raising fears of an all-out war.

Washington has dispatched 3,000 troop reinforcements to the region.

The mourners, mostly men in black military fatigues, carried Iraqi flags and the flags of Iran-backed militias that are fiercely loyal to General Soleimani.

Suggested song (NSFW):

#3  Do you want the regular funeral with "Death to America" threats or something special. We can add the "Splat" that occurred just after the drone hit for a little more on the recording. However, it might require a little editing and sound effects. That'll cost you a few more rials (dollars if we can get them). For A Few Dollars More, we can provide you with a holographic representation.

Thousands gather in Baghdad to commemorate Soleimani after airstrike
[The Hill] Thousands of people marched in Baghdad Saturday to mourn Qassem Soleimani, Iran’s late top general, and several Tehran-backed militia fighters who were killed in a U.S. airstrike this week.

The procession ‐ organized by Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), an umbrella group of Iranian-supported paramilitary groups ‐ began in Baghdad’s heavily-fortified Green Zone and continued to the Shiite holy cities of Karbala and Najaf, according to Reuters.

Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, a militia leader, and other Iraqi fighters will be buried in Najaf, while Soleimani will be buried in his hometown of Kerman in southeast Iran.

In a sign of the gravity of the repercussions of Soleimani’s death, Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi attended the procession.
Emphasis added.

But Wait--There's More: 6 More Iran-Backed Leaders Zapped, incl. Shibl al-Zaidi, commander of Kataib Imam Ali, an Iranian-backed militia
[GatewayPundit] UPDATE: PMU Operatives Deny Drones Took Out Militia Leader Shible al Zaydi in Missile Strike on Friday

Earlier on Friday air strikes reportedly targeted high ranking Iran-backed Shi’ite militias near camp Taji north of Baghdad.

But the initial reports were not accurate.

Shiite militia leader Shibl al-Zaydi was not killed in the strike as was previously reported.

Tweets (y’all know I don’t know how to do those, but here is the key information):

The #PMU have released a statement denying reports that senior PMU leaders (Shibl Al-Zaidi, Hamid Al-Jazaeri, Raed Al-Karawi) were killed in the #Taji strike. The statement added that the PMU will conduct an investigation into the attack.

#1  Hamed al-Jaza'iri has been threatening the US at least since the successful US air attack on the UMP in 17 June 2018. At the time Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis claimed the "United States has the priciple responsibility for the attack," and Hamid, then called the "subcommander of the UMP Saraya Al-Khorasani, noted in an unintended irony, "The resistaance will eliminate Israel and terrorism from the map... when the time is appropriate." Obviously, the time came and went.

#5  Reuters, May 7, 2018 (Al-Amri, AKA Amiri): As leader of the Badr Organization, Amiri, a Farsi speaker, was often seen discussing offensives in Iraq with the Guards’ commander of foreign operations, Qassem Soleimani. The numerous photos from the battlefront of Amiri with Soleimani in military fatigues, embracing and looking euphoric after evicting IS fighters, have personalized an old friendship.
Portraits of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei are also a fixture in Badr offices, a reminder of the days when the group was the armed wing of Iraq’s Shia opposition, based in Iran.
Born in the mixed Sunni-Shia province of Diyala east of Baghdad, Amiri fled to Iran in his 20s after studying economics in Baghdad. Sentenced to death by Saddam, Amiri made Iran his second home for more than two decades.

New U.S. Airstrikes North of Baghdad – Three Vehicle Convoy of Iran-backed Shia Militia Leaders…
[Conservative Treehouse] Reports of new late-night U.S. airstrikes north of Baghdad are starting to be confirmed. According to developing reports a convoy of two or three vehicles carrying Iran-back Shia Militia leaders was targeted near Taji in Northern Baghdad.

The strike is reported to have killed Qais Khazali, one of the people the US named as responsible for storming of US Embassy in Baghdad. Also Shibl al-Zaydi is now confirmed to have been killed. Shibl was the leader of Kata'ib al-Imam Ali or the Imam Ali Battalions.

BAGHDAD – (Reuters) Air strikes targeting Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces umbrella grouping of Iran-backed Shi'ite militias near camp Taji north of Baghdad have killed six people and critically wounded three, an Iraqi army source said late on Friday. Two of the three vehicles making up a militia convoy were found burned, the source said, as well as six burned corpses. The strikes took place at 1:12 am local time, he said. – Air strikes targeting Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces umbrella grouping of Iran-backed Shi'ite militias near camp Taji north of Baghdad have killed six people and critically wounded three, an Iraqi army source said late on Friday.

Not necessarily US Strikes. "Today, I settled all family business, so don't tell me you're innocent, Carlo Ali"
[Fox News] An airstrike Friday hit two cars carrying members of an Iran-backed militia north of Iraq's capital, Baghdad, killing five members, an Iraqi official told The Associated Press.

The official added that the identities of those killed were not immediately known. It was not immediately clear who launched the strike.

The latest operation came almost exactly 24 hours after a U.S. airstrike killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' (IRGC) elite Quds Force, and nine others.

...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip over the last year, which has also seen a decrease in attacks in the West Bank, data released by the IDF has shown.
