Biden and Sanders have hardly stayed "above the fray." Neither has offered support to the president, and both have been scathing in their attacks.
Biden ‐ who called Trump's January travel ban on China "hysterical" and "racist" ‐ criticized the president and released his own plan, while opposing travel bans from China, Europe, "or any other part of the world."

Maybe if the Democrats and their media lackeys didn't try to blame coronavirus on Trump I'd have an easier time believing there are good reasons why I must shelter in place for the next two weeks. As it is; after the Russian collusion hoax, the Covington kids, the Kavanaugh fiasco and the phony impeachment they have no credibility. Even when Trump says it I'm reluctant to believe it because I wonder if he's capitulating to the political pressure. It is a sad thing when you watch TV or read the newspaper and you can't believe it.

And how much will the media spend attacking Trump? For example I keep seeing qoutes that Trump slashed the CDC's pandemic budget. A lie which CNN has been spouting.

The money would be paid to every U.S. adult and dependent, as well as every Social Security, Veterans Affairs, or Supplemental Security Income recipient.
The funds automatically would go to those who file tax returns for 2019. Those who do not file a return could submit a separate Form 1040. The payment would phased out for those with higher incomes.
"Workers have seen their hours cut or eliminated entirely, and millions of American families are assessing how they will weather a potentially long-lasting economic paralysis," the senators wrote to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer ...Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras and microphones. This would not be a complete solution but a good starting point would be for every member of Congress and every senior federal executive -- whose jobs are completely secure and highly compensated-- to adopt a family affected by the quarantine. Senator Booker, for example, would be responsible for paying the bills of Bubba Jones, whose small restaurant in Fairhope, Alabama, has shut down because of the quarantine.
"How much do you need this week, Bubba?"
"Well, Senator, the tires on my son's pickup are totally shot. I'd say abut $800."
