after coronavirus briefing including ditching shares in retailers and buying into company that makes protective equipment as Justice Department launches Senate probe

Insider trading by government officials is O.K. but the Martha Stewart's and others go to jail? Insider trading creates clefts among the populace and voters and an intense dislike for the insiders who enrich themselves.
The only good thing one could say is that she bought stock in companies that make protective equipment--possibly it enables companies to grow and expand production.

She and her Stock Exchange Pres. hubby didn't just sell; they bought, too. Sell, fine, but how many savvy investors knew to go long and front-run specific government purchases? Busted.
[GatewayPundit] Ilhan Omar Defends Herself From Adultery Charge With Quran Verse Calling for Flogging of Those Who Falsely Accuse "Chaste Women" Absolutely amazingly predictable
That escalated quickly. Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) found herself in hot water on Twitter Tuesday with her reaction to President Trump warning the next two weeks would be "very painful" in the COVID-19 Chinese coronavirus crisis. Omar posted an Islamic saying, "Subhanallah!" that some interpreted as praise, rather than an expression of shock.
Omar quickly added a clarification, "Islamophobes, this is the same as "good god"
Subhanallah! https://t.co/MysfOONOw4

👀 Islamophobes, this is the same as "good god".

"And those who accuse chaste women, and produce not four witnesses, flog them with eighty stripes, and reject their testimony forever. They indeed are the Faasiqoon (liars, rebellious, disobedient to Allah)"

This woman needs to be dumped or removed from office for ethic violations and possible crimes in 2020. Unfortunately, flogging is not an option in this country.

Aren't her 15 minutes about up? No? Might have to wait until November.

Bullshit.
Subhanallah actually means praise. Nobody says 'good god' in arabic or urdu. You can't just translate and appropriate westernisms and use them as Dhikr; it would be a sin and blasphemy.
'Subhaanallah' is one of the tasbeeh-e-Dhikr, phrases and exhortations used to invoke Allah, in everyday chatter. It means something like 'God is beyond good !' People say it when they hear good news, or when praising a dish or a painting or song, or a woman - anything beautiful.
I'm sure that wasn't what Moses had in mind ☺, because he used the word meaning 'terrible and fearful', but yes. The phrase is basically used like the modern 'Awesome !' or 'Wow !'
[BREITBART] In an embarrassing reversal, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) has asked the federal government for anti-malaria medication that may help treat the Chinese coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... after effectively banning doctors in the state from proscribing it to patients suffering from the deadly illness. Down the Memory Hole™...
The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) recently threatened doctors with "administrative action" if they prescribed Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine to treat the coronavirus.
"Prescribing hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine without further proof of efficacy for treating COVID-19 or with the intent to stockpile the drug may create a shortage for patients with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, or other ailments for which chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are proven treatments," read the letter. "... Again, these are drugs that have not been proven scientifically or medically to treat COVID-19."
However, there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened... Michigan officials have since scrubbed the threat from the letter and now seek the drugs from the Trump administration, according to Bridge magazine.
During a Monday presser, Whitmer appeared to change her tune, stating she wants Michigan to be "nimble" with respect to its efforts combating the pandemic.
"We want to ensure that doctors have the ability to prescribe these medicines," the governor said. "We also want to make sure that the people who have prescriptions that predated COVID-19 have access to the medication they need. And so all of the work that we’ve done is trying to strike that balance."

Show a little gratitude, slimeball. Some humility too. Apologize.
[BREITBART] Rep. Adam Schiff ...Showboating U.S. Representative for California's 28th congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, Schiff has served in Congress since 2001. He currently serves as the chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. In a manner reminiscent of Joe McCarthy, on March 22, 2017, in a interview with Chuck Todd on MSNBC Schiff claimed there was “more than circumstantial evidence now” that Donald Trump's campaign colluded with Russia." Todd followed up by asking if he had seen direct evidence of collusion and Schiff responded that there was "evidence that is not circumstantial and is very much worthy of investigation"... (D-CA) said Monday he will introduce a bill to create a "nonpartisan commission" to study "our mistakes" on coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... ‐ which spread while Schiff was leading the effort to impeach and remove the president.
As Breitbart News has noted, Democrats handed over the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump ...the Nailer of NAFTA... on the very day the first coronavirus victim landed in the U.S. from China. Congress spent the next 20 days on the impeachment trial, led by Schiff as head impeachment manager and chair of the House Intelligence Committee. It was not until Trump was acquitted Feb. 5 that a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee held a hearing on coronavirus.

I know we're all rightly infuriated by this, but it's a smart move for the Dems in the longer run.
If this crisis continues unabated, people will start to take their frustrations out on Trump -- and the Dems will have a handy cudgel to apply when the time comes.
The GOP could have stolen a march on them by demanding investigations into Obama's failures on the respirators, as well as castigating the Dems for wasting our time and energy on impeachment as the crisis was manifesting.
The GOP could go after DeBlasio and Pelosi's fecklessness when they were encouraging people to ignore the warnings.
But of course, the GOP will do none of these things.
The Washington Generals don't roll that way.
What Schiff is doing is loathsome -- but if I were a wormy Dem like him, I'd do the same thing.
[BREITBART] During an interview aired on Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s "11th Hour," 2020 Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...The former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body... said "it would be wise" if President Trump "called President Obama."
Host Brian Williams asked, "About the guy you worked with, do you think it’s time for Americans to hear, in a more public setting, from Barack Obama I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody... ?"
Biden responded, "I think that it would be wise if the president ‐ if Trump called President Obama. I’m going to say something that sounds self-serving, but I think we handled the last pandemic very well. We handled the last economic crisis very well in an organizational structure, how we did it, what we did, who we put in charge, how it got done, where there was no waste of time and money."

“…a new bombshell report reveals that the Obama-Biden Administration ignored at least 3 government reports in which "federal officials predicted the United States would experience a critical lack of ventilators" during a global pandemic.”
"In at least 10 government reports from 2003 to 2015, federal officials predicted the United States would experience a critical lack of ventilators and other lifesaving medical supplies if it faced a viral outbreak like the one currently sweeping the country,"
"Many administrations preceded me — for the most part they did very little, in terms of [equipment shortage] … We’re making much of the stuff now, it’s being delivered now.”

I'm sure we'd all be inspired by Obama making some comments from his $15 million estate on Martha's Vineyard. "So that's what happened to our protective gear!"

President Trump hasn't got time for your foolishness at the moment (or any time), Plugs.
However, if you really want Bambi called by someone named "Trump," I guess Ivanka could find a couple of minutes to make a RECORDED video - with witnesses - to call him and ask him why he couldn't be bothered to do his goddam job, when not doing that job would put the American people at risk.

he's "mister" Obummer now
We’re keen on courtesy titles in America, so politicians and military types are afforded in retirement the title of the last thing they were, and in writing as former [title] [name].
[PJMEDIA] Ned Lamont, the Democrat governor of Connecticut, claimed on Tuesday that the U.S. Strategic National Stockpile of medical supplies is now empty and alleged that the state is now on its own in securing ventilators and masks to fight the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic without the help of the federal government.
"It was disturbing today to find out that the national strategic stockpile is now empty. We did get 50 ventilators, for which I am very thankful," Governor Lamont said. "For now we are on our own. For now, we are doing the best to scour the globe for PPE (personal protective equipment) as best we can."
This, it turns out, was not true. President Trump was asked about Lamont's claim during the Coronavirus Task Force press briefing, and he explained what's really happening.
"It's not emptied, let me explain something. What we're doing [...] rather than having it brought into the stockpile, where appropriate [...] we're trying to have supplies sent directly to the states," Trump explained. "Because we don't want medical supplies coming into warehouses all over the place and then we take them from there and bring them to another warehouse. So we're having them brought, ideally, from the manufacturer directly to the hospital or the state where it's going."
[FOXNEWS] An aide for Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar ...Somali-American Dem representative from Minnesota. She was apparently married to her brother and may be her own grandmaw on her mother's side... blamed President Trump’s "mismanagement" this week for the projected deaths of up to 240,000 Americans due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... "100,000-240,000 Americans are projected to die because of Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... ’s mismanagement," Jeremy Slevin wrote in a tweet three times late Tuesday, just hours after the president and the White House warned that the U.S. could see that range of deaths due to COVID-19.

How about STFU? Where were you in this pandemic? You and your ilk were pushing the investigations and impeachment of Trump for more than 3 years. So STFU!
[JUSTTHENEWS] House Republicans late Tuesday renewed their demands that the House Judiciary Committee hold hearings into the FBI spying on Americans after a new review found agents routinely used inaccurate or incomplete evidence to justify surveillance warrants.
Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, the panel's ranking member, sent Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., a letter requesting the hearings in response to a special investigative memo released by Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz earlier in the day.
That memo warned FBI Director Christopher Wray that a review of more than two dozen Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants authorizing spying on Americans in intelligence and terrorism investigations found all had failed to comply with so-called Woods Procedures designed to protect civil liberties. Most of the applications contained factual errors, unsubstantiated evidence and other problems, Horowitz disclosed.
[FREEP] Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is getting national attention for her role as Michigan's leader during the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic.
Now comes the news that she's being considered as a potential vice presidential candidate.
On Tuesday's edition of MSNBC's "The 11th Hour," Brian Williams asked Democratic presidential candidate front-runner Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Failed seeker of the Democratic presidential nomination on multiple occasions, vice president under Barack Obama, giving it a last try in his dotage for 2020... how many names are on his possible running mate list.
Williams continued with the question, pressing for details, asking specifically "if any of the figures who have emerged from this coronavirus crisis, thinking specifically of, say, the governor of Michigan, if any of those figures have lengthened the list."
Biden replied, "She hasn't lengthened the list. She made the list in my mind two months ago."
