[Free Beacon] Democratic representative Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) continues to push cash from her campaign committee to her now-husband's consulting firm.
Omar's new committee filings, posted Wednesday afternoon, show that during the first three months of the year, the campaign paid $292,905 to the E Street Group. E Street is a political consulting firm owned by Omar's husband, Tim Mynett. The cash, which reportedly went toward an array of services that included fundraising and advertisements, accounted for over 40 percent of the campaign's $674,892 in disbursements. Omar raised $456,374 during the quarter.
Omar's campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The Omar campaign also doled out $525,000 last year to Mynett's firm, its top vendor. At the time, Omar and Mynett were married to different people, but Mynett's wife alleged they were having an affair. The two denied that they had a romantic relationship. Omar's campaign and the E Street Group also faced accusations of using campaign funds on personal travel.
Rumors of an affair between Omar and Mynett garnered headlines after divorce papers from Mynett's ex-wife, Dr. Beth Mynett, were made public last summer.
[DailyCaller] Hunter Biden's pledge in October to resign from the board of a Chinese private equity firm received widespread media coverage.
Former Vice President Joe Biden lauded his son's announcement to relinquish his board position with BHR Partners as a sign of his integrity.
Hunter Biden's lawyer, George Mesires, told the Daily Caller News Foundation in November that Hunter Biden had followed through on his pledge to resign from the firm, but he not provide any evidence of his departure at the time.
Chinese business records accessed Tuesday show that Hunter Biden is still listed as a member of BHR's board of directors ‐ six months after he pledged to relinquish the position.

I think the Dems firmly believe that nobody will turn Biden's connections to China into an issue. What possible basis they have for this, I do not know, other than their control of the traditional media, but I think that is fueling their arrogant nonsense. They simply don't give a damn and are prepared to continue on present course until they are finally pushed out of the ruling class.
[Right Scoop] Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has used the coronavirus pandemic to become the left-wing authoritarian she’s always dreamed of becoming. And now she’s justifying it in the most absurd way, suggesting it’s ok because the heavy snowfall they are expecting will force people to stay at home anyway.

As though Michigan never experienced heavy snowfalls in the past.
[Washington Examiner] Democrats in Georgia are vowing to take revenge against a colleague who voiced his support for President Trump but said he would remain a Democrat.
"It’s very simple to me. President Trump’s handling of the economy, his support for historically black colleges, and his criminal justice initiatives drew me to endorse his campaign," state Rep. Vernon Jones told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution this week .
Jones represents one of the most Democratic districts in Georgia and has held his seat representing parts of DeKalb and Rockdale counties in the suburbs of Atlanta since 2017.
Local Democrats voiced outrage at Jones's announcement this week.
"I am aware that Rep. Vernon Jones has endorsed Donald Trump," tweeted John Jackson, chairman of the DeKalb County Democratic Party. "This is in no way acceptable. Action will be taken at @DekalbGADems steering committee meeting on Thursday. I will address this more later." "Get BACK on the Plantation!"

Remember - everything in the party, nothing outside the party, nothing against the party. Fascism is just another practice of the Left they project on everyone else.
[Sara Carter] Newly declassified footnotes from Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s December FBI report reveals that senior Obama officials, including members of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane team knew the dossier compiled by a former British spy during the 2016 election was Russian disinformation to target President Donald Trump.
Further, the partially declassified footnotes reveal that those senior intelligence officials were aware of the disinformation when they included the dossier in the Obama administration’s Intelligence Communities Assessment (ICA).
As important, the footnotes reveal that there had been a request to validate information collected by British spy Christopher Steele as far back as 2015, and that there was concern among members of the FBI and intelligence community about his reliability. Those concerns were brushed aside by members of the Crossfire Hurricane team in their pursuit against the Trump campaign officials, according to sources who spoke to this reporter and the footnotes.
The explosive footnotes were partially declassified and made public Wednesday, after a lengthy review by the Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell’s office. Grenell sent the letter Wednesday releasing the documents to Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa and Sen. Ron Johnson, R- Wisconsin, both who requested the declassification.
"Having reviewed the matter, and having consulted the heads of the relevant Intelligence Community elements, I have declassified the enclosed footnotes." Grenell consulted with DOJ Attorney General William Barr on the declassification of the documents.
Grassley and Johnson released a statement late Wednesday stating "as we can see from these now-declassified footnotes in the IG’s report, Russian intelligence was aware of the dossier before the FBI even began its investigation and the FBI had reports in hand that their central piece of evidence was most likely tainted with Russian disinformation."
"Thanks to Attorney General Barr’s and Acting Director Grenell’s declassification of the footnotes, we know the FBI’s justification to target an American Citizen was riddled with significant flaws," the Senator stated. "Inspector General Michael Horowitz and his team did what neither the FBI nor Special Counsel Mueller cared to do: examine and investigate corruption at the FBI, the sources of the Steele dossier, how it was disseminated, and reporting that it contained Russian disinformation."

Even more appalling than these f---ers' treachery is their stupidity. Anyone with a combination of common sense and the most rudimentary knowledge of Russia and the history of Russia's intelligence services over the last 140 years could see that this "garbage document" -- in the words of non-Russia expert Bob Woodward -- was full of the most idiotic nonsense and wild dezinformatsiya. Compared to this lunacy, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion reads like a clinical report.
We are ruled by morons who are advised by Mad Hatters.

Cohen, to the former editor of the centrist, independent Moscow Times to expatriate bankers -- EVERYONE who knows Russia knew IMMEDIATELY that this document was complete bullshit.
Everyone except the men and women whose full-time job it is to make policy toward Russia or to report on our policies toward Russia.
[ZeroHedge] Google has been ordered to turn over all Hillary Clinton emails from a Gmail account believed to contain backups to communications from her personal server which her IT specialist, Paul Combetta, reportedly scrubbed using BleachBit.
Combetta allegedly used the Google account to transfer Clinton's emails from a laptop to a server at Platte River Networks, after which BleachBit was used to remove all traces from the device.
On Wednesday, watchdog group Judicial Watch
...doing the work the FBI should have done...
announced that Google had been served with a subpoena seeking all Clinton email from January 21, 2009 until February 1, 2013 from her time at the Obama State Department where she served as Secretary of State.
The Google subpoena comes in a Judicial Watch’s lawsuit that seeks records concerning "talking points or updates on the Benghazi attack" (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01242)). Judicial Watch famously uncovered in 2014 that the "talking points" that provided the basis for Susan Rice’s false statements were created by the Obama White House. This Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit led directly to the disclosure of the Clinton email system in 2015. -Judicial Watch

It will be interesting to see what Google turns over - if anything. Maybe they'll simply smash their servers with hammers?

These folks need to look at the CALEA wiretap law. It requires all data communications be copied to the FBI.
This implies that somewhere in the FBI databases is every single email.

Hopefully there's a wikileaks fan in a gurgle datacenter somewhere right now.

That doesn't necessarily mean the law was followed. I mean, she was flagrantly violating the law in all sorts of other ways. Also, what makes you think she was being targeted for a wiretap? CALEA does not require that all communications everywhere go to the FBI (only that the FBI be able to easily tap every device and account). Although regardless of the law on the matter, I'm pretty Homeland Security does maintain a copy of every electronic communication ever sent on the open internet.

Is there a fully transparent auditing system of how WHO spends its funds? No? Then Bill Gates can pour his own money down that rathole if he so desires.
[ZeroHedge] Rep. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) may have sold out and endorsed a credibly accused sexual predator after his pie-eyed supporters emptied their pockets to chase a pipe dream, but fellow socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), has not.
On Tuesday, AOC opened the door to discussing a sexual assault allegation against former Vice President Joe Biden, which the entire #MeToo, "believe all women" crowd suddenly can't seem to find their voices over.
On Tuesday evening during an online conversation with The Wing, AOC was asked about the accusation against Biden by a former staffer, Tara Reade, who claims Biden forcibly penetrated her with his fingers in 1993 in the halls of the Capitol. Members of Reade's family say she told them about the allegation at the time.
"What you're voicing is so legitimate and real. That's why I find this kind of silencing of all dissent to be a form of gaslighting," AOC told the questioner, who opposes Trump's reelection but also "really resent[s] the fact that the other choice is someone who has a really long history of being creepy to women" (and children).
"I think it's legitimate to talk about these things. And if we want, if we again want to have integrity, you can't say, you know — both believe women, support all of this, until it inconveniences you, until it inconveniences us," AOC continued, according to CBS News.
"A lot of us are survivors, and it's really, really hard and uncomfortable," she said, adding that not discussing allegations is the "exact opposite of integrity."
Ocasio-Cortez also said that it's "not okay" to prioritize winning against Trump over addressing a #MeToo allegation because they are "very legitimate thing[s]."
"I think a lot of us are just in this moment where it's like, how did we get here? You know, it almost felt like we started this cycle where we had kind of moved on from, you know, from all of this. And now it feels like we're kind of back in it," she said. "And, you know, the most diverse field that we've ever seen — that we're kind of back kind of replaying old movies in a way."
Reade responded to AOC's support, telling CBS News "I'm very humbled and honored because she is literally the only politician that has spoken up on my behalf."
CBS News then spends the rest of the article casting doubt on Reade's story (the 'reverse Blasey-Ford' strategy) - pointing out that Reade's former co-workers say she never told them about the alleged assault, and suggesting that she 'changed her accusation' because she first told the Washington Post that Biden 'inappropriately touched her' without sharing the graphic details of the encounter.
CBS also notes that AP refused to publish Reade's story in April, 2019 because they couldn't corroborate her allegations - which is the same excuse ABC used for not publishing allegations against Jeffrey Epstein.
So, while the MSM and Bernie Sanders are busy supporting an accused sexual predator - revealing themselves to be virtue-signaling shills who will sell their 'convictions' in a heartbeat for the chance to unseat Trump, AOC has chosen to stick to her guns. [Give credit where credit is due.]

This is from the Dem playbook. They are setting something up. Watch both their hands as this get shady. Why would they turn on him? As soon as this virus is slowing, August, something is going to pop.
BTW, Biden deserves the investigation that Trump and Kav did not get. We should be better than the dems.

[Daily Caller/Boingo] Peter Navarro, White House Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy and newly appointed Defense Production Act coordinator, is urging CBS News to, "in the interest of full transparency," release his entire, unabridged interview with Bill Whitaker. CBS News aired a brief portion of the 2-hour long conversation during Sunday’s broadcast of 60 Minutes, but Navarro claims the final cut turned out to be "a purely politicized interview rather than one focused soberly on the single greatest existential threat America has faced since World War II."
The headlines coming out of the segment largely ignored the focus of Whitaker’s piece, the shortage of personal protective equipment for front line medical professionals. What? 60 Minutes cut and pasted to suit their particular narrative? I'm shocked, I tell you!
"I had numerous conversations with the producer about how the virus originated in Wuhan and how, while China hid the lethality of the virus from the world, the Chinese Communist Party vacuumed up nearly all of the world's PPE, leaving health care workers defenseless from New York and Milan to Barcelona and London," the former economics professor continued. "That should have been the real story, Beijing's role in the deaths of Americans and victims around the world." I welcome out new Chicom overlord masters!
"Mr. Whitaker broadly claimed intelligence reports anticipated the pandemic but when I pressed Whittaker repeatedly in the unaired full interview, he could not name the exact news stories or any of the individuals quoted by name in the stories," Navarro told Daily Caller. "It strains credulity that America's intelligence community would allow Chinese diplomats to come into the White House on January 15 if there were deep concerns within the IC prior to that date." Doesn't strain my credulity.

What does it tell us about these "experienced, savvy experts" that they don't have the wit to create their own record of these interviews?
They're either stupid, or this is kayfabe , and Navarro actually wanted this to happen.
