[LegalInsurrection] Philonise Floyd, the brother of George Floyd, and family attorney Benjamin Crump came out against the #DefundThePolice movement on Fox News on Sunday.
From Fox News:
“What I would like is for all police around America to get their jobs and do them the right way, the correct way. Innocent people shouldn’t have to die,” Philonise Floyd said on “America’s News HQ.” “You can do your job and still maintain respect for others.”

Who knew going after violent thugs results in more violence than only chasing them if a beat policeman happens to see a crime in commission. It seems Conquest’s Third Law of Politics now applies to American law enforcement: The simplest way to explain the behavior of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies.
[ABC7]the Socialist paradise of San Francisco ...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964... police will stop responding to neighbor disputes, reports on homeless people, school discipline interventions, and other non-criminal activities as part of a police reform plan the mayor announced.
Mayor London Breed released her plan Thursday morning. I read someplace long, long ago that more police are killed in domestic altercations than in gunfights with crooks.
Under the proposal, sworn officers will no longer respond to non-criminal activities and will be replaced with trained and non-armed professionals.
These professionals will respond in situations such as neighbor disputes, school discipline and mental health calls.
The mayor's office said this would help lessen the response of armed officers to San Francisco schools.
As part of the reform plan, military-style weapons would also be banned in an effort to demilitarize the San Francisco Police Department. This would include weapons like tear gas, bayonets and tanks.
Other reform priorities include addressing bias in the police department, strengthening accountability and promoting economic justice, according to the mayor.

All they do now is take reports In almost every case. The veneer of policing is so thin you can see the chaos throughout the city now. The proof is in the plummeting rental rates and hotel bookings. The SF DA has a pathetic conviction rate even for the slam dunk cases they take and the homicide clearance rate for SFPD is single digits at times.

And to think the entire point of paying the high taxes and cost of living in urban areas is for "access to the amenities." Bwahahahahahahahahahaha...

[EGYPTTODAY] The Egyptian Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram said Monday that the Egypt will not stay silent before any assault against the Egyptian expats and will respond immediately to such heinous actions.
Makram said during a meeting with the Arab affairs committee in the Egyptian parliament that she does not repeat "empty slogans".
Makram mentioned the Egyptian military response back in 2015 against the terrorist group of ISIS in Libya after executing Egyptian captives.
Makram asserted that the Egyptian state has taken similar action when Egyptian fishermen were arrested in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... and arranged their safe return to home in February.
Makram was responding to a parliament’s inquiry on a footage issued by a terrorist group in Libya in which Egyptian expats are being tortured and humiliated.
The minister added that the Egyptian State will respond to the disturbing footage as per its policy in protecting the dignity of the Egyptian expatriates.

I saw a video of a African woman explaining that that scarf-thing that Nancy and the Democrats wore when they 'took a knee' the other day represented.
That particular piece belonged to a specific African tribe who used to capture and sell slaves to the slave Traders.
Entirely appropriate for the Democrats.
[THEBAGHDADPOST] Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... has escalated its activities in the western hemisphere, with commercial jets ferrying military personnel and hardware in and Venezuela ...a country in Central America that sits on an enormous pool of oil. Formerly the most prospereous country in the region, it became infested with Commies sniffing almost unlimited wealth. It turned out the wealth wasn't unlimited, the economy collapsed under the clownish Hugo Chavez, the murder rate exceeded places like Honduras and El Salvador. A significant proportion of the populace refugeed to Colombia and points south... n bullion out. Five tankers carrying 1.5 million barrels of gasoline left Iran for Venezuela last month as the two pariah states, pummeled by US sanctions, seek to weather the turbulent waters of international isolation. The unobstructed realignment of the Tehran and Caracas regimes’ political and economic goals has highlighted the dwindling options the White House has beyond piling on more sanctions, since military interventions are a non-starter.

[LidBlog] Flynn/Kislyak Transcripts Adds Credence To Report
Less than a month before he left office, Barack Obama led the creation of U.N. Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2334, which stated that Israel’s presence in Judea, Samaria, and East Jerusalem was a violation of International Law. Obama directed U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power to abstain when it came to a vote rather than veto the anti-Israel resolution in the U.N. Security Council. Since the abstention allowed the resolution to pass, the Obama action had the same effect as an anti-Israel U.N. Vote. A new report claims Obama wasn’t done. He had one last anti-Israel resolution to push through, but he was stymied by a threat by Russian President Putin that his U.N. rep would issue a veto, blocking it from passing.
On the day of the U.N. vote, President Trump’s choice for National Security Advisor General Mike Flynn spoke to the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak about the upcoming UNSC vote. Per the transcript of the Flynn/Kislyak calls released on May 29th, 2020, Kislyak explained that Russia would have to delay it 2334, but if it came to a vote, Russia would have no choice but to vote for the resolution.
Per a report in the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, right after the 2334 vote on December 23rd, 2016, President Obama and his anti-Israel foreign policy team started working on another UNSC resolution. This one would have forced Israel to agree to a Palestinian state based on the 1948 armistice lines.
Israel’s U.N. Ambassador Danny Danon heard about Obama’s plans and let the government in Jerusalem know what was happening,
When he was given the news, Prime Minister Netanyahu called Russia President Putin, warning him that if passed, the Obama resolution would severely hurt Israel and could undermine regional stability. Putin agreed, and per the report, the Russian President told Netanyahu that he was willing to veto the resolution. Russia is one of the five permanent members of the UNSC. The four are the U.S., China, France, and the U.K. A no vote by any of the permanent members block a UNSC resolution from passing. The Russian nyet would serve as a veto and prevent it from passing.
There was another Flynn/Kislyak call on December 28th, 2016, that seemed to corroborate the Israel Hayom report. This time the Russian Ambassador told Flynn that his country wasn’t going to support an upcoming U.S. pushed UNSC resolution.
When the U.S. heard that Russia would veto the Obama farewell anti-Israel resolution, they dropped the effort.
Apparently, the Obama team didn’t want Russia to seem more protective of Israel than the U.S., which would lead to their party losing the Jewish vote.
[Hot Air] File this one under karma, baby. The rich and famous are all about protesting and declaring themselves down with the struggle until protesters forget their place and invade residential areas of Beverly Hills. Then the masks drop.
It’s the ultimate Not In My Back Yard (NIMBY) — the City of Beverly Hills issued an emergency order Saturday night that bans public gatherings of more than 10 people in residential areas between 9 PM and 8 AM. What brought this on? Well, it seems a group calling themselves "Occupy" disrupted the beauty sleep of locals in their posh neighborhood on June 12 between the hours of 10 PM until 1 AM. The group used bullhorns and "amplified music". The residents want their tranquility back. The emergency order remains in effect until further notice.

Tucker had VDH on last evening. VDH opined (can't find the vid), that the CHAZ stuff will end when the 'wrong people begin to be impacted.' Paraphrasing here.
He likened it to the end of the "Me Too" stuff when Plugs Biden's behavior began to be examined.

As long as they don't loot or burn or otherwise create a threat or hazard, it would seem the protesters are protected by the 1st A--even in Beverly Hills.
[Rudaw] The Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group (ISIS) has grabbed credit for a Saturday attack on a Kakai village in Khanaqin which left seven people dead.
"[ISIS] killed and maimed 15 from the Iraqi security forces and Kakai community yesterday [Saturday] after fighters of the Islamic State targeted them in Diyala," claimed ISIS propaganda outlet al-Immaq.
"A security source told al-Immaq that snipers from the Islamic State opened fire on the Kakai community in Mekhas village in Khanaqin town, killing seven Kakais," it added.
Gunmen stormed the village of Dara in Khanaqin near the Iranian border Saturday night, killing six Kakai Kurds and a member of the security forces who responded to the firefight, Kadhim Pirouli, a member of a village council in Khanaqin, told Rudaw.
Dara is next to the village of Mekhas, both located northeast of Khanaqin in Iraq's eastern Diyala province. The area is populated by members of the Kakai minority who are ethnically Kurdish and hold unique spiritual beliefs.

[Rudaw] The Kurdistan Region needs to reduce its oil exports to 370,000 barrels per day (bpd) to adhere to the OPEC+ agreement, Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jaber said on Sunday.
In a televised interview with al-Sharqiya TV, Abdul-Jaber said that Baghdad has officially sent a letter to the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to inform them to reduce their oil exports to 370,000 bpd following similar pledges from Baghdad.
"We already started the talks, and I have informed Erbil that they need to start to implement the OPEC+ agreement and reduce production," Abdul-Jaber said.

[Rudaw] Following a deadly attack by the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. (ISIS) which claimed the lives of several Kurdish Kakais on Saturday, a top Kurdish commander threatened on Monday that they will work to regain control of Khanaqin and its surrounding areas by force unless Baghdad heed their repeated calls for the return of Peshmerga forces.
"They invaded our land for 30 years and we took it back from them in one day. We'll take it back from them again in one day," Mahmood Sangawi, Peshmerga commander of the Garmaser Front in Garmiyan told Rudaw on Monday.
Kurdish Peshmerga forces lost control of vast areas of the disputed territories claimed by Erbil and Baghdad on October 16, 2017, weeks after the Region held an independence referendum.
Since then, Baghdad has not allowed for the return of the Peshmerga to the region despite the Iraqi government being unable to protect civilians in the area.
"If they cannot protect them, allow us to do so," Sangawi said. "We are ready to pay more sacrifices to protect our people because they are being martyred in front of our eyes."
ISIS faceless myrmidons stormed the Kakai village of Dara near the Iranian border Saturday night, killing six civilians and a member of the security forces who responded to the firefight, Kadhim Pirouli, a member of a village council in Khanaqin told Rudaw.
ISIS grabbed credit for the attack on Monday.
Since 2014, Kakai Kurds have been targeted by ISIS because of their religious beliefs. Many now live near Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... Khanaqin, and in the Nineveh Plains, which are targeted in holy warrior attacks by the terror group. They have fought alongside Kurdish Peshmerga units during the counter-ISIS campaign that began in 2016.
ISIS has always referred to Kakais as "infidels" in its weekly al-Naba newsletter, which is usually published by the group's propaganda channels on Telegram messaging app.
"The [Kakai] villages are just next to us, yet they [the Iraqi Army] do not allow us to go to their aid and protect them," Sangawi added.
The repeated killing of the Kakai civilians has reverberated across the political spectrum with Iraqi President Barham Salih, and Kurdish leaders urging Baghdad to engage in talks with the Peshmerga forces in order to put an end to the bloodshed.
"He has gone to Mustafa al-Kadhimi for the same purpose. Let them at least let us protect Khanaqin and these villages. Let them go protect other places," the commander added.
[Rudaw] The Iranian Kurdish city of Sanandaj’s main streets is a town of ghosts. Its walls are now covered in a shroud of death announcements — those who have fallen victim to the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... . A peculiar request is added to many of the black announcements plastered across the city; asking for friends and relatives to send their condolences by phone, rather than in person.
A surge in the number of deaths has haunted Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan province in Iran. Two hospitals designed to take in COVID-19 patients have run out of space, with the Iranian government labelling the Kurdish region and some other provinces of the country as "dangerous zones." Sanandaj’s health authorities are deeply worried a third hospital will soon be inundated if the pandemic is not curbed soon.
