The local & State DA does not seem interested in FACTS, or whether it was a legal justified shoot...
The Liberal Socialists Democrat Leadership has a serious problem here. If this young man can legally defended himself from having his butt stomped within an inch of life, if not being murdered outright by these "Peaceful" protesters. Then other CITIZENS would follow the same basic Self Defense actions.
Then we would have more citizens guarding and protecting themselves and Properties. Resulting in a quick massive reduction of "Peaceful" Protestors.
In short it would cull their Liberal Socialist Democrat Protest rank and file to great lengths.

Lin Wood is a high-profile attorney out of Atlanta. He is one of a team of attorneys. Wood also represented Richard Jewell and Nicolas Sandmann. He has been called “attorney for the damned.”

Keep in mind, Komrad, the process is the punishment.
Exactly. Even if he can't convict, the DA can make Rittenhouse's life hell for a long, long time by tying him up in court. Same with Derek Chauvin who will sit in jail for at least a year before his case even comes to trial. Same with General Flynn. Justice delayed is justice denied.

Not just the process; I understand there was a literal bounty put on Kyle's life for something to happen to him while in prison.

Rittenhouse was in great danger when he fired his weapon while on the ground. Most likely, he would have been killed had he not shot his weapon. It looks like skateboard guy hit him with the edge of the skateboard in the back of the head; Rittenhouse is lucky not to have sustained a brain injury or ended up paralyzed.
There should not be a legal question. Frigging-outofcontrol-mobs are very dangerous unless you have sufficient force to stop them.

Here is a good Cliff's Notes version and really tells all you need to know. About 11 minutes.
I'm trying to come across/remember the one I saw which had multi-video time-linked for different angles of the unfolding event as well as proofing of conclusions. Unfortunately, with this new release searches are cluttered and tracing down a particular link in the month of August is a real head scratcher.
Interview with McGinnis by Detective Cepress:
"McGinnis stated that he had handled many ARs and [Rittenhouse] was not handling the weapon very well."
Based on the videos I've seen Rittenhouse is one of the best weapons handlers under pressure I've ever seen. So much for McGinnis' credibility.
And it seems Daily Mail's as well.
I came across a comment somewhere, to the effect, "I am a combat vet from Iraq, and have never seen such good rifle control."

[HotAir] - While it’s impossible to know exactly when, we’re being told to expect a decision from the Louisville, Kentucky grand juring considering the fate of the officers involved in Breonna Taylor’s death. As Matt Vespa pointed out at Townhall, this has everyone in the city on edge. Precautions are being taken, including having every available police officer on standby and boarding up the windows on government buildings. The New York Post reports that a state of emergency has been declared across the city and the municipal government is preparing for the worst. They have reason to believe that things will probably go to you-know-where in a handbasket.

I never felt comfortable on business trips to Louisville. Even the street layouts were awkward. A person I chat with a lot lives there and explained the current dynamics to me. Since mid-term Obama street and Mexican gangs have controlled most of the poorer areas of the town. This implies that no real efforts were made to go after gangs. Now it's a bit hard to do. This person figures you would need to eliminate 7 gangs.

^ I've felt the same way, going back quite a few years. Not as scary as Newark, but the hair was pretty constantly up on the back of my neck.

[FoxNews] Tourists were evacuated after an anonymous caller told police a bomb was inside the monument.
Citing unnamed police sources, French journalist Amaury Bucco tweeted that a man “shouted Allahua Akbar" (Arabic for "God is great") and threatened to detonate a device to "blow up everything" shortly after 11 a.m. local time.
The 131-year-old tower gets about 25,000 tourists daily in normal years, but visits are down this year because of coronavirus travel restrictions. While the Eiffel Tower is scheduled to be open every day, it occasionally closes because of suicide threats, bomb threats or labor strikes.
[PORTLANDOREGON.GOV] In the evening of September 21, 2020, a group gathered at Laurelhurst Park and marched to the Penumbra Kelly building located in the 4700 block of Southeast Burnside Street. The crowd stayed off of the property and near the entrance to the parking lot. Some individuals in the crowd threw various items into the parking lot.
One of the items thrown was identified by the Explosive Disposal Unit and Arson Sherlocks as a viable Molotov cocktail. The wick was lit and the device was thrown onto the property. Fortunately, the fire extinguished and no one was injured.
The group eventually dispersed on their own. PPB did not engage the group and no arrests were made.

The pimp will dress up Danegeld in fancy lawyer blather and sell it to street vermin as a deep pocket hustle. Next thing you know the Antifa commandos will be confronted by some version of the Gangster Disciples keeping the peace to keep the sanctioned protection racket going. In ancient Rome they had street gangs who did the same thing, and since they were sanctioned by Pompey and Caesar, everyone just went along and didn’t get in the way. Nothing in power is really new, just dressed up in modern words and technology.

I really cannot understand why the people with the molotov's aren't immediately shot. That is a deadly weapon. I have been on fire, it's not an experience I want to repeat and if someone is trying to set me on fire, I will defend myself vigorously.
An Illinois man arrested the violent BLM-antifa Portland protest last week has now been charged by federal authorities. The prosecutor told the judge that Nicholas Bantista came to "wreak havoc during these riots." Read my report co-written w/@MiaCathell: https://t.co/HJripVMloI

Glad he's charged, but have always disliked those "Assault on a Federal Officer", Lying to a Federal Officer" charges as though they were more important than John Q. Plain old assault, rioting and insurrection should have been the charges.
The Canadian woman charged for sending ricin to President Trump & law enforcement agencies in Texas was previously deported. Pascale Ferrier tried to cross back into the US on Sunday & was found carrying a gun. She recently tweeted about killing Trump. https://t.co/nvACsTHsTPpic.twitter.com/EnuKaViQwY

Surely someone got the photos mixed up.
Hell she looks more MANLY than most of ANTI-FA protestors I have seen to date. So to say Strange, is being polite.
BUT !! all visual comments aside.
How does a Bull like her find and learn to extract Ricin from Castor Beans SAFELY? Then refine RICIN to the purity likely found. Then SAFELY dispense it into packages and ship it without killing herself and others in the process?
I am laying odds she was only the delivery person/sender. NOT the brains or the refining chemist in this international Terrorist act.
In short there more to this Terrorist act originating from a government with strong Liberal Socialist leanings that has had an open feud with Trump and America for 4 years.
BTW: Now think of all the US & International mail that came into contact with these Ricin laced letters. Remember the 2001 Brentwood NJ Post Office mess? While it is a different BIO agent, it could/would produce the same deadly contact results.

Ricin is not something that is readily available. I'd imagine, the Feds are tracking this ricin back to its source as Pascale Ferrier doesn't seem bright enough to put this together by herself. WH mail all goes to an off-site location for screening and testing. IMO, Ferrier is a dupe or patsy or someone to keep people WH personnel edgy. She's also got a crazy look to her--maybe an attention seeker.

Castor Bean plants are readily available. It's a non-native invasive that is found throughout San Diego county drainage channels. The seeds provide the ricin. All you need to do is dry/crush to powder without killing yourself

I doubt Pascale In-Need-of-a-Farrier has the ability to refine and deliver Ricin. Poisons are similar to amateur bombs, explosions are simple bombs be hard.

IMO, mailing a package containing ricin obtained from ground up castor beans is an iffy way to try to expose someone to ricin.
The impact of such a package might be more in the commotion it creates and the psychological effect it has on people.
The KGB was thought to have developed an umbrella-compressed air gun that delivered a pellet of purified ricin. Georgi Markov was assassinated in this way. I would think that compressed air was used because ricin would be modified (denatured) by the heat from a conventional firearm and bullet.
[NYPOST] The Canadian woman accused of sending a letter containing ricin to President Trump has been identified as Pascale Ferrier of Quebec, authorities said.
Ferrier was taken into custody Sunday by US Customs and Border Protection agents at the Peace Bridge border crossing near Buffalo, New York, where she is expected to appear in federal court to face charges.
She was supposed to appear in court Monday, but her appearance was delayed until Tuesday afternoon, according to a spokesperson for the US Attorney’s Office, according to the CBC.
Ferrier had been living in the US last year and was arrested in Mission in March 2019 for using a fake driver’s license, according to court records cited by the news outlet.
She pleaded not guilty "Wudn't me." and spent 20 days in the slammer before the charge was eventually dismissed because it was her first offense, the CBC reported.
On Monday, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police searched a condo in Saint-Hubert on Montreal’s South Shore in connection with the ricin-laced envelopes.
Police front man Cpl. Charles said a team of officers with expertise in handling chemicals and explosives led the search as nearby homes were evacuated.
Poirier said there is a link between the residence and the suspect, but couldn’t confirm she lived there.
"The RCMP is assisting the FBI in this investigation," Poirier told news hounds, according to CBC. "We believe a total of six letters were sent — one to the White House and five to Texas."
Poirier could not say where in Texas the envelopes were sent, but Sheriff Eddie Guerra of the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office in Edinburg, Texas, has confirmed that ricin were mailed to him and three of his detention staff.
