[Garowe] Security forces in Uganda have rubbed out a Moslemholy man accused of working with an gang linked to suicide kabooms in the capital Kampala.
Officials said Sheikh Muhammad Abas Kirevu had recruited for cells run by the Allied Democratic Forces ...the ADF is one of several murderous Moslem groups in NE Congo. In 2019 the U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions on them for the usual reasons. They don't appear to be affiliated with al-Qaeda or Islamic State, though ISIS claims their work from time to time — they just like killing infidels.... (ADF) - rebels who have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group.
He was killed just outside Kampala.
At least four people were killed by attackers on cycle of violences who blew themselves up in the city on Tuesday.
More than 30 others were maimed in the attack, which IS said was behind and officials have blamed on the ADF.
The Islamist bad boy ADF was formed in Uganda in the 1990s but is now based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo ...formerly the Congo Free State, Belgian Congo, Zaire, and who knows what else, not to be confused with the Brazzaville Congo aka Republic of Congo, which is much smaller and much more (for Africa) stable. DRC gave the world Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Mobutu, followed by years of tedious civil war. Its principle industry seems to be the production of corpses. With a population of about 74 million it has lots of raw material... . Since pledging allegiance to IS in 2019, it has increasingly carried out attacks in the group's name.
Twenty-one people have been arrested since Tuesday's attack, in what police have described as the dismantling of ADF terrorist cells in Kampala and across the country.
Police spokesperson Fred Enanga said 13 suspects, including several children, were intercepted while trying to cross the border into DR Congo.
On Wednesday, four suspected ADF operatives were killed near the border.
A manhunt is also underway for another holy man, Sheikh Suleiman Nsubuga, who is accused of training terrorists, radicalising potential recruits, and providing materials to make improvised bombs.
Tuesday's attack was the latest in a number of recent bomb explosions in Kampala.
Last month, a 20-year-old waitress was killed after a device, left in a shopping bag, detonated in a bar in the city. Days later several people were maimed when a jacket wallahwent kaboom! in a bus near Kampala. Police say both were linked to the ADF.
The bombings on Tuesday marked the biggest attack the ADF has been linked to in Uganda since establishing relations with IS.

It's amazing what happens when the country you are trying to invade with invading hoards fights back. They are of no use to Belarus, so they'll be shipped back to their original sh*t hole countries.

If Nigerians pretending to be teenage Syrians can board the refugee gravy train, why not third generation Palestinian “refugees” “fleeing” the terrors of Egypt? [IsraelTimes] Spanish authorities processing the group’s requests, after they refused to get back on a flight heading to South America
A group of 39 Paleostinian refugees were waiting in a restricted area of the Barcelona airport for a fifth day Friday after they used a stopover of their South America-bound flight from Cairo to request asylum in Spain, the country’s authorities said.
Police are investigating the charter flight that flew into Barcelona on Monday, a front man with Spain’s Interior Ministry told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named.
The flight from Cairo had the Ecuadorean capital, Quito, as its final destination, with scheduled layovers in Spain’s second-largest city and Bogotá, in Colombia. A spokeswoman with the Spanish government’s delegation in Catalonia said that once they landed at El Prat airport on Monday, the group refused to get back on the aircraft to continue with their scheduled trip.
Since then, they have been taken care of with food and assistance in police facilities at the airport, the spokeswoman said. Press officials in Spain are not usually authorized to be identified by name in media reports.
Authorities are "processing" the group’s asylum request, the official said, adding that in the meantime the group hasn’t been arrested and that they are "free to continue with their trip."
Sophie Muller, the representative in Spain for the United Nations ...a formerly good idea gone bad... refugee agency, or UNHCR, said that the passengers were carrying refugee documents issued by UNRWA, the UN’s agency that provides essential services to Paleostinian refugees. She also said that many in the group had previously submitted asylum applications in Egypt and Æthiopia.
The front man for the Interior Ministry, which oversees the office for asylum applications in Spain and the customs checkpoints at airports, said the individual applications of the refugees were being examined, a process that can take from days to weeks or even months.
Spain has received nearly 50,000 asylum requests in the first 10 months of 2021, with Venezuela ...a country in Central America that sits on an enormous pool of oil. A significant proportion of the populace refugeed to Colombia and points south... ns, Colombians, and Moroccans topping the charts of most applications.
The Interior Ministry, which has recently tried to clear a backlog of previous applications, said that over 15,000 people have been granted refugee status or other types of protection under international asylum laws this year. More than 41,000 requests were rejected.

"refugees" are temporary. Once a person is determined to be a refugee, their status must mean they are never ever granted citizenship even if they marry a local, even if they have a kid - they and their offspring are NEVER to be deemed citizens or even permanent residents. They must never be granted the right to live and work in the host country. They must be kept in a camp as dependents and their case reviewed each year. As soon as there is no life-threatening violent situation or believable and imminent threat of persecution in their home country, back they go

The base is home to Ottoman Turkish personnel in Zilkan, 10 kilometers from the town of Bashiqa in Nineveh province. It was targeted earlier this year in April when four rockets were fired, killing one Ottoman Turkish soldier and injuring two civilians, including a 12-year-old girl, in the attack.
Ottoman Turkish soldiers have been at the base for several years, despite calls from Iraqi officials for them to leave.

Turkey and its media usually blame the YPG for deadly attacks in Afrin, but the group has denied targeting civilians. The YPG has not immediately commented on Friday's attack.
