Ten children rescued from sexual exploitation in Panama
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] Ten minors were rescued from sexual exploitation during an operation on the border between Panama and Costa Rica. The age of the victims ranged from 4 to 12 years. Four people have been arrested in this case.

On February 5, the First Organized Crime Prosecutor's Office succeeded in indicting a fourth woman in Veracruz, Western Panama, for trafficking in persons for the purpose of sexual exploitation of children, La Prensa Panama reported.

Jenny Barb , psychologist and head of the UN Children's Fund, said she was concerned about "a fragile social reality in which children are victimized and unprotected. The authorities must take urgent action to prevent these crimes, to support the recovery of the victims and, most importantly, to hold those involved accountable so that they cannot commit crimes again.”

Barb noted that the extreme poverty fueled by the COVID-19 pandemic increases the vulnerability of populations, especially children, to human trafficking.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • A brutal Mexican gang clash left 16 people dead amid a violent dispute on Saturday

  • Ten of the bodies were wrapped in blankets and left in the city streets and six others were found 'suspended' in a nearby warehouse

  • State prosecutor Francisco Murillo says the bodies were discovered in the Central Mexican state of Zacatecas

  • Authorities have already arrested two people who had been caught transporting a separate corpse a day beforehand

  • Homicides in the region continue to increase; as of last year, the state of Zacatecas alone recorded 1,050 murders in 2021, roughly 200 more than 2020

#1  Wrapped in blankets and duct-taped sounds rather professional.

Authorities have already arrested two people who had been caught transporting a separate corpse

Does 'separate corpse' mean a corpse in addition to those already enumerated or is it one where the various parts are separated?

Pakistan 'strongly condemns' use of Afghan soil by terrorists after 5 soldiers martyred in Kurram
[Dawn] Five Pak soldiers were martyred after forces of Evil inside Afghanistan opened fire on troops in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Kurram district, the military's media affairs wing said on Sunday.

"Terrorists from inside Afghanistan, across the international border, opened fire on Pak troops in Kurram district," a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, adding that Pak troops responded in a "befitting manner".

"As per intelligence reports, due to fire of [our] own troops, forces of Evil suffered heavy causalities," the statement said.

However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
five soldiers were martyred during exchange of fire. They were identified as 34-year-old Lance Naik Ajab Noor, 22-year-old Sepoy Ziaullah Khan, 23-year-old Sepoy Naheed Iqbal, 18-year-old Sepoy Sameerullah Khan and 27-year-old Sepoy Sajid Ali.

"Pakistain strongly condemns the use of Afghan soil by forces of Evil for activities against Pakistain and expects that [the] interim Afghan government will not allow conduct of such activities against Pakistain in future," the ISPR statement said.
Lulz! Sucks when your own tactics are used against ya, ya feckless assholes?
The Pakistain Army is determined to defend Pakistain’s borders against the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our resolve, it added.

The banned Tehrik-e-Taliban
...Arabic for students...
Pakistain (TTP) grabbed credit for the attack.

SUICIDE BOMBER KILLED DURING TANK IBO
Meanwhile,
...back at the secret hideout, Scarface Al sneeringly put his proposition to little Nell...
security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) near Dial road in Tank, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and killed a jacket wallah, the ISPR said.

Security forces conducted the operation on "confirmed intelligence reports of presence of" forces of Evil belonging to the proscribed TTP. "During the operation, a suicide bomber has been killed," the statement added.

The ISPR said the operation to eliminate the terrorists' abettors and accomplices "was continuing".

In a separate statement on Saturday, the military's media wing said the security forces conducted an IBO in Sarwakai village in South Wazoo and arrested a TTP terrorist identified as Allah Noor.

According to ISPR, the TTP terrorist was trying to escape while clad in a burqa, however, the forces caught him.
Was it the hairy man-feet or the really scary makeup?
During the IBO, a huge cache of arms, ammunition, explosives, improvised bombs, mortars, grenades and communication equipment were recovered from the hideout.

In another such operation in Makeen area of South Waziristan, law enforcement personnel recovered M-16 rifles and ammunition.

Four individuals who were transporting weapons and ammunition to Dara Adam Khel were also arrested, the military said.

SDF investigates, arrests own members following Hasaka prison break attempt
[Rudaw] The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) carried out a vast investigation campaign in its own ranks, arresting leaders and members alike following a failed major prison break attempt by the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) in the city of Hasaka, northeast Syria (Rojava) last month, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Saturday.

According to SOHR, the SDF launched a major campaign to clear their ranks from "corruption" following the events that transpired in the al-Sina'a prison in Hasaka around two weeks ago, when ISIS attempted to free thousands of its hardcore gunnies in an audacious, yet foiled attack.

According to SOHR, the Kurdish-led force arrested a leader within their own ranks who "lives in a villa and has a large number of private cars in Raqqa," and hails from the Kurdish town of Kobane in northern Syria.

The force also arrested another leader who holds Ottoman Turkish citizenship as well as ten members in Ain Issa district, the seat of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).

SOHR added that the SDF intends to carry out further arrests against their own affiliates following the attempted prison siege in Hasaka on January 20.

ISIS attempted to break thousands of its affiliates and members out of al-Sina'a prison, known to locals as Ghweran prison. The SDF arrested 26 people who were "active in smuggling and transferring detainees out of Ghweran prison," it said in a tweet on Sunday.

On Monday, the SDF raised the corpse count from the brazen prison break attempt to 495 people, with 121 SDF fighters, prison guards, and civilians, as well as 374 ISIS members.

Two weeks after the attack, US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Being a self-defined foreign policy whiz kid means never having to say you're sorry...
announced the elimination of ISIS leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi in a daring overnight operation on Thursday in the town of Atmeh, north of Idlib.

On Saturday, Mazloum Abdi, general commander of the SDF, said "the killings of al-Qurayshi and al-Baghdadi in Idlib show that ISIS enjoys support and protection outside SDF-held areas."

Abdi further added that in these areas, ISIS are "given training camps and re-branded as popular resistance or opposition factions."
