Afghanistan
ISIS claims responsibility for an attack on a mosque in the Afghan capital Kabul a day earlier
Yesterday the bomb, today the claim.
[PUBLISH.TWITTER] The usual ISIS-mosque-bomb story.
ISIS on Saturday grabbed credit for an attack on a mosque in the Afghan capital Kabul a day earlier that killed at least 10 worshippers.

They had detonated an bomb placed near a bus in Kabul’s Sector 6, the group said in a message posted on its Telegram account.

The group said the attack had killed 10 people, the same toll announced by Afghanistan’s interior ministry. Kabul police said another 30 were maimed.

Afghan officials have said the attack appeared to have targeted members of the minority Sufi community

No fewer than five passengers, including a vigilante, were killed along the Sabon Gari-Kampani Road in the Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The victims were killed by suspected terrorists, locally dubbed bandidos, operating in the area, according to Daily Trust.

According to Abdullahi Usman, a resident of Wase town, the vigilante and one other person were ambushed, while the remaining three were killed during a stop-and-search operation by the bandidos.

Usman added that more than 20 passengers were kidnapped in the incident.

Mexican authorities capture a suspected leader of the powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

Mexican authorities have captured a suspected leader of the powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel, the navy and the Morelos state prosecutor’s office said on Saturday.

Francisco Javier Rodriguez Hernandez, known as “El Senoron” or “XL,” was apprehended on Friday in the tourist city of Mazatlan, in the northwest state of Sinaloa, in an operation carried out by navy agents.

Rodriguez Hernandez, who allegedly heads the CJNG in the central state of Morelos, is wanted for aggravated homicide, including the murder of three doctors in April 2020, according to the Morelos Attorney General’s Office.

“In addition to the above, Francisco Javier Rodriguez Hernandez is wanted for the crime of criminal association, and is one of the main generators of violence in the state of Morelos,” it added in a statement, referring to the state neighboring the capital Mexico City.

“El Senoron” is also accused of controlling several laboratories for the production of synthetic drugs, according to the navy.

In July last year, authorities offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The head of CJNG, Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera, is one of the most wanted drug lords in the world, with the US Drug Enforcement Administration offering $10 million for his arrest.

CJNG emerged in 2010 after the death of the regional leader of the Sinaloa drug cartel, Mexico’s biggest criminal group.

Mexico has been trapped in a spiral of cartel-related violence that has left more than 340,000 dead since 2006, when the government launched a controversial anti-drug operation with federal troops.

Antifa mob wreaks havoc on GOP candidate's Portland rally: 'From roses to riots'
[FoxNews] Stan Pulliam says Portland police took 20 minutes to respond to calls from rallygoers.

Sandy, Oregon mayor and Republican gubernatorial candidate Stan Pulliam is devastated after an alleged Antifa group disrupted his "Fund the Police" rally in Portland on Saturday.

Prepared to throw firecrackers at attendees and deface campaign materials, the group brought a reminder of its "anti-fascist" message that often finds itself on the opposing end of free speech supporters.

During a Monday interview with "Fox & Friends First" guest host Joey Jones, Pulliam described the developments as "unbelievable."

"The city of Portland – from roses to riots. As a statewide candidate for governor, we should be able to go to the largest metropolitan community of our state and have a peaceful campaign rally," he said.

"Of course, less than 15 minutes in, we're greeted by Antifa, showing up with firecrackers that they're throwing at us, paint, feces all over our campaign [signs], our campaign bus completely destroyed…"

Pulliam used the instance to illustrate the state of Portland and to remind viewers that he would act as a fighter for the people of his state.

He also weighed in on claims that Antifa is fictitious, saying that certain naysayers denied that the development took place.

Antifa rioters clash with anti-mask protesters in bloody confrontationVideo
"It's unbelievable. We have video footage evidence that's all over Twitter, all over social media, the local news has picked it up, and just like you say, they're claiming it didn't even happen," he said.

Pulliam pointed to the wave of violent crime, including riots and homicides, and to a shortage of law enforcement which prompted a 20-minute wait for a 911 operator after attendees attempted to call the police.

Pulliam added these examples in stressing the need for change.

"That's why we're running for governor," he said. "Republicans are looking for a fighter, and we're going to take this fight all the way to the governor's office."

#1  In urban American cities, there is an emergent parallel to 1930's Germany that gives one pause. Conservatives, labeled falsely as fascists/nazi/white supremacists, are becoming the new Jews. Abuse, lies, and public intimidation are increasingly tolerated, even encouraged. (The "push-back on them" Maxine Waters comment for example). This Alinsky playbook strategy linked to tolerant city administrations and pliant media is creating a two-reality national consciousness along our main political divide.

And for the demokrat Puppet Show and profligate Congress, the fear of the looming backlash justifies last minute insanity and even suspect election irregularities.

India-Pakistan
Indian security forces have killed 62 militants, including 15 foreigners, in the disputed Jammu and Kashmir region this year
In case you've lost count...
Indian security forces have killed 62 murderous Moslems, including 15 foreigners, in the disputed Jammu & Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
region this year, a senior police official said on Sunday.

Kashmir, claimed by India and Pakistain but ruled in parts by each country, has long been the site of an armed insurrection against New Delhi. Two of the three wars between India and Pakistain have been fought over Kashmir.

India, which says it seeks to keep bad boy murderous Moslem groups from expanding their base, accuses Pakistain of funding murderous Moslem groups who want independence for Indian-administered Kashmir, a claim Islamabad denies.

The state’s police chief, Vijay Kumar, said some of the faceless myrmidons killed this year had links with Lashkar-e-Taiba
...the Army of the Pure, an Ahl-e-Hadith terror organization founded by Hafiz Saeed. LeT masquerades behind the Jamaat-ud-Dawa facade within Pakistain and periodically blows things up and kills people in India. Despite the fact that it is banned, always an interesting concept in Pakistain, the organization remains an blatant tool and perhaps an arm of the ISI...
, a murderous Moslem group that has in recent years allegedly recruited and trained men to fight Indian authority in Kashmir.

A hallmark of the group is to conduct "fedayeen" attacks where men are willing to fight to the death but are not jacket wallahs.

Kumar said 15 faceless myrmidons linked with the Pakistain-based murderous Moslem group Jaish-e-Mohammad
...literally Army of Mohammad, a Pak-based Deobandi terror group founded by Maulana Masood Azhar in 2000, after he split with the Harkat-ul-Mujaheddin. In 2002 the government of Pervez Musharraf banned the group, which changed its name to Khaddam ul-Islam and continued doing what it had been doing before without missing a beat...
- which took responsibility for one of the deadliest attacks on security forces in Indian Kashmir in 2019 - were among those killed in a series of operations.

"The surviving rate of faceless myrmidons has drastically decreased due to enhanced human, technical intelligence and focused operations," Kumar told Rooters.

Members of Hizbul Mujahideen
...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. Hizbul murdered many of the pro-independence intelligentsia in Kashmir. After the organization was taken over by Syed Salahuddin Dar and several other ex-Hizb leaders were assassinated between 2001 and 2003...
, one of the largest anti-Indian Kashmiri murderous Moslem groups, were also among those killed, he said. He said 193 faceless myrmidons were killed in 2021 and 232 in 2020.

Broad search and detention operations by Indian forces are common in the region, which has had an armed resistance movement since 1989.

Rights groups say arbitrary detentions and killings by Indian troops are leading to a range of human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
violations.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019 withdrew Indian-ruled Kashmir’s autonomy in order to tighten his grip over the territory, provoking outrage in Pakistain.

The decision, the most far-reaching political move in one of the world’s most militarized regions in nearly seven decades, polarized opinion, with Kashmiri leaders calling it aggression against the state’s people.

Tribal Mobilization officer in al-Anbar arrested only a few hours after the Ayn al-Asad attack

A commander of the Tribal Mobilization in the western governorate of al-Anbar has been apprehended, another senior officer said early on Sunday.

"The force that made the arrest did not reveal the motive," he said, "but I do not believe it has something to do with the rocket attack on the Ayn al-Asad base."

The Security Media Cell (SMC) said on Saturday evening that two rockets had landed in the vicinity of the Ayn al-Asad base, causing no considerable damage.

Iraqi security forces strip 24 villages in Diyala of defensive arms

Iraqi security forces have disarmed 24 Kurdish villages in the vicinity of Khanaqin, an officer of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) revealed on Sunday, warning of a backlash on the security of the district.

In a statement to Shafaq News Agency, the media officer of the KDP's Organizations bureau/15, Sherko Tawfiq, said that forces from Diyala's Operations Command, the Police, and al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces-PMF) raided 24 villages to pursue wanted persons.

"As we support and endorse this quest, we do not approve seizing 200 weapons," he said, "these weapons are those people's means of defense against the threat of ISIS in the villages that lack a security presence."

Tawfiq called on the security forces to strike the roots of terrorism in the northern territories of Jalawla and Qara Tappa that nestle active ISIS cells.

"Why would the security forces seize those simple arms that protect the lives of the locals here, while to turns a blind eye to the heavy arms owned by the tribes that disturb the society's security even though it is relatively safe from security breaches?"

Diyala: 3 ISIS attacks kill 2, injure 3

A civilian was killed and two others were maimed in an ISIS attack north of Diyala, a security source reported.

The source told Shafaq News agency that ISIS murderous Moslems attacked in al-Butraz village, northeast of al-Udhaim district, a displaced family that returned to its home, killing one of its members and injuring two others.

A security force rushed to the scene of the incident and clashed with the terrorists, forcing them to flee.

Areas on the outskirts of al-Udhaim district are continuously subjected to terrorist attacks, due to their proximity to the borders of Saladin that lack security presence and suffer from security gaps.

A member of al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces-PMF) was injured on Sunday in a failed attack on a military site in the west of al-Udhaim district, northeastern Diyala.

The media officer of the PMF's 23rd brigade, Hussein al-Husseini, said that a group of militants affiliated with the extremist ISIS group attacked with rifles sites of the brigade's 4th regiment in al-Udhaim basin near the borders with Saladin.

The stationing force managed to deter the attack and force the attackers to flee into the outskirts of Saladin, the officer said.

"The clashes resulted in injuring a fighter of the regiment," Husseini concluded.

An Iraqi soldier was killed in an ISIS attack in Diyala, a security source reported.

The source told Shafaq News agency that ISIS snipers attacked an army force deployed northeast of Baquba district, killing an Iraqi soldier.

Military reinforcements arrived at the scene of the incident and responded to the forces of Evil and forced them to withdraw.

Areas south of Kanaan district, Diyala, contain dangerous terrorist hotbeds, because they lack the required number of security forces to secure them.

Turkish soldiers killed in Claw-Lock operation in Duhok
[Rudaw] Two Ottoman Turkish soldiers were killed during the ongoing military operation against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Kurdistan Region’s Duhok province, The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
’s defense ministry announced.

A Ottoman Turkish soldier was killed in a bombing blamed on the PKK, the ministry said on Sunday.

Another soldier, who was severely injured during festivities with the PKK earlier in April, departed this vale of tears and was reported dead on Saturday.

The PKK is an armed Kurdish group fighting for the increased rights of Kurds in Turkey. Ankara considers it a terrorist organization and a threat to its national security. Ottoman Turkish forces regularly pursue the PKK within the Kurdistan Region’s borders.

Turkey has launched a series of operations against the PKK in recent years, with the most recent beginning on April 18. Dubbed Claw-Lock, the new operation is aimed at PKK hideouts in Duhok’s Metina, Zap, Avashin, and Basyan areas.

The PKK said that at least 270 Ottoman Turkish soldiers have been "punished" since the start of the incursion, and around 57 others were maimed.

It also acknowledged 11 deaths in its own ranks during the latest operation.

However,
there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly...
Turkey has confirmed the death of 13 of its soldiers, while claiming that it has "neutralized" 57 PKK fighters. Turkey’s army often use the term neutralize to refer to combatants killed or injured on the battlefield.

Both the PKK and Ankara often release exaggerated corpse counts of the other side.

The conflict is devastating local populations and the environment, with villagers fleeing their homes.

Iraqi officials have condemned the Ottoman Turkish breach of Iraqi illusory sovereignty, but Ankara continues its military operation.

Turkey has come under criticism from Baghdad, Erbil, Tehran, and the wider international community for violating Iraqi illusory sovereignty, but Ankara continues to establish increasing numbers of bases and outposts in the mountains of Erbil and Duhok provinces.

At least six rockets target Erbil province, rocket launcher seized in Ninevah
[Rudaw] At least six rockets landed in Erbil province’s Khabat district on Sunday night, with the rockets originating from Nineveh province, according to the Kurdistan Region’s Directorate General of Counter Terrorism (CTD).

The rockets caused no casualties or material damages, the Region’s counter-terrorism directorate added, and were fired from the proximity of al-Hamdaniya district. The Iran-linked Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF, or Hashd al-Shaabi) have a strong presence in al-Hamdaniya.

Erbil Governor Omed Koshnaw confirmed to Rudaw that the attack caused no civilian or material damage.

Hadi Salimi, Rudaw’s news hound on the ground, said that the rockets were likely targeting the Kawergosk oil refinery, which was the target of last month’s attack.

According to the Peshmerga ministry, the site of the attack has previously been targeted "several times by Katyusha rockets."

A number of Katyusha rockets landed in the Khabat district of Erbil near the Kawergosk oil refinery on April 6, without causing any casualties or material damage.

The oil refinery is one of the largest refineries in the Kurdistan Region and is operated by the Iraqi-Kurdish oil company KAR Group, the owner of whom's residence was targeted by Iranian missiles in March.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps grabbed credit for the March 13 missile attack on Erbil which caused extensive damage. At least four of the missiles landed on a property belonging to the CEO and founder of KAR Group, Baz Karim Barzinji in the early hours of March 13.

Earlier on Sunday, Karim in a statement said that there were no justifications for the Iranian missile strikes on his property in March, and thanked an Iraqi parliamentary fact-finding committee after it found no evidence for Iran’s accusations.
Al Arabiya adds:
Six missiles targeted the KAR Group oil refinery in Iraq's northern city of Erbil on Sunday, leading to fire erupting in on of the man oil tanks, Iraq’s security forces said.

The fire was brought under control, the security forces added.

Kurdish businessman thanks parliamentary committee, denounces Iranian missile strike on his property

[Rudaw] A Kurdish businessman whose house bore the largest brunt of the Iranian missiles that targeted Erbil in March expressed his regards on Sunday towards a parliamentary fact-finding committee after its report last week discredited the validity of the strikes.

The report confirmed that "the justifications for the attack were invalid and based on misleading information," Baz Karim Barzinji said on his Twitter, adding that "a serious error in assessment and information occurred," on the side of the perpetrators.

Investigations into the missile attack in a report by the Iraqi parliament's fact-finding committee found no evidence to support the Iranian accusations and concluded that Karim's residence was neither an Israeli base nor was he involved in any form of political activity or movement.

Under the pretext of striking an Israeli base, Iran
...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979...
fired a dozen ballistic missiles targeting areas surrounding the US consulate building in Erbil in the early hours of March 13, injuring two civilians and causing severe material damage to houses. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) grabbed credit for targeting "the strategic center of the Zionist conspiracy and evil by point-to-point missile," an accusation vehemently rejected by Kurdish authorities.

At least four missiles landed on the residence of Karim, the CEO and founder of the Iraqi-Kurdish oil company KAR group, an individual whose house Iran claimed harbored a secret Mossad (Israeli intelligence) base in Erbil.

A loaded rocket launchpad was seized in Nineveh plane, an hour after a missile attack targeted an oil tank in Khabat district, a security source reported.

The source told Shafaq News agency that the security forces launched a search campaign following the Khabat attack, during which they found a rocket launchpad loaded with three rockets.

The rockets were possibly prepared to be launched on Zlikan base or Khabat district, according to the source.

A source who works at the Khabat oil refinery, Erbil, revealed to Shafaq News agency that the recent attack targeted an oil tank.

The source noted that the special teams managed to control the fire.

One person sustained minor injuries in the attack, according to the source.

Earlier today six rockets landed in the vicinity of the Khabat district, west of Erbil, Kurdistan's Counter-Terrorism Agency said in a statement on Sunday evening.

The statement said that the rockets landed near the Bahdinan river, causing no damage.

"The rockets were launched from al-Hamdaniyah, a sub-district of Nineveh's Bartala district," he continued.

Iraq’s security forces say they have broken up a drug trafficking ring and seized more than six million pills of Captagon
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

Iraqi security forces said Saturday they had broken up a drug trafficking ring and seized more than six million pills of the amphetamine-type stimulant Captagon, making several arrests.

Iraq’s northwestern neighbor Syria is the Middle East’s main Captagon producer.

Iraqi forces seized "around 6.2 million pills" from a warehouse in the southwest of the capital, the national security agency said in a statement, adding that the drugs were set for distribution "in areas of Baghdad and other provinces."

Three Iraqis and four suspects from other Arab countries were arrested in connection with the trafficking network, it added.

The statement said security forces broke up a second drug ring after an Arab national was arrested "in possession of six kilograms [13 pounds] of hashish," while two accomplices were also detained.

All 10 accused "admitted to links with international drug trafficking networks," it said.

Drug trafficking convictions can be punishable by the death penalty
in Iraq.

Trade in Captagon in the Middle East grew exponentially in 2021 to top $5 billion, posing an increasing health and security risk to the region, a report said earlier this month.

Captagon was the trade name of a drug initially patented in Germany in the early 1960s that contained an amphetamine-type stimulant called fenethylline used to treat attention deficit and narcolepsy among other conditions.

It was later banned and became an illicit drug almost exclusively produced and consumed in the Middle East.

The sale and use of drugs in Iraq has soared in recent years. Security forces have stepped up operations and make almost daily announcements of seizures or arrests.

In the first three months of this year, Iraqi security forces detained 18 suspected narcos in the largely desert province of Anbar, which shares a long border with Syria, according to an official source.

More than three million Captagon pills were seized in the same period.

Ariel terrorists planned in advance to torch car, were picked up by father: reports
[IsraelTimes] The two suspected shooters packed flammable materials in their vehicle ahead of attack, father of one has been arrested, reports say.

The two suspects in Friday’s deadly shooting in Ariel planned in advance to torch the car they used in the attack, and set out with flammable materials in the vehicle, according to Sunday reports.

New details from the investigation raised suspicions that the father of one of the suspects came to pick the two up after they burned the car, and helped them escape, the reports said.

activists have denounced it as unfair collective punishment.

Sunday reports said the weapons used in the attack were hidden in a bag in one of the suspects’ homes.

Earlier reports said the suspects had scoped out the site of the attack ahead of time, and had identified it as a vulnerable point in Israel’s West Bank security.

The father has been arrested as a key accessory.

Security officials believe that after the attack, the suspects drove for around 15 minutes, then stopped the car in an open area and burned it.

They remained on foot in the area for several hours, before making contact with one of their fathers, who picked them up in his vehicle and brought them home, Channel 13 reported.

The attackers planned the shooting for weeks, including by acquiring a stolen vehicle and firearms, and by scouting the area for potential targets, Sherlocks believe.

Vyacheslav Golev, 23, was shot full of holes inside a guard booth at the gate to the settlement on Friday night.

Earlier Sunday the military said Israeli forces raided the West Bank hometown of the two Paleostinian suspects.

During the operation in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, the homes of Youssef Sameeh Assi and Yahya Marei were measured and prepared for eventual demolition, the Israel Defense Forces said.

The IDF released video of troops preparing the home for demolition on Sunday.

Police arrest 5 for suspected attacks on buses going to Western Wall during Passover
[IsraelTimes] Residents of East Jerusalem and Qalqilya set to be indicted in the coming days, report says.

Police in Jerusalem over the weekend arrested five suspects for attacking buses and cars headed to the Western Wall during Passover last month.

The suspects are from East Jerusalem and Qalqilya, Ynet reported.

Prosecutors are expected to indict them in the coming days.

The alleged attack took place on the morning of April 17, when a group of rioters gathered and attacked the vehicles outside the Old City.

The assailants smashed the windows of the bus and did other damage by hurling stones at the vehicle.

A collaborator in a private car helped hold up traffic by stopping in the road, allowing the attackers to target the vehicles.

Several buses were heavily damaged in the assault, and some passengers were lightly injured.

The attackers expeditiously departed at a goodly pace after, but at least two were apprehended soon after in East Jerusalem.

Last month, police detained 20 suspects for riots in the Old City at the time, including some who allegedly threw stones at buses.

Other suspects were detained for throwing rocks and firecrackers at police from Old City rooftops, and for assaulting Orthodox Jews headed to pray at the Western Wall.

The attacks took place amid sky-high tensions in Jerusalem between Israel and the Paleostinians.

The Moslem holy month of Ramadan, typically a period of friction, saw regular festivities at the flashpoint Temple Mount.

The Old City compound is the holiest site to Jews, and the al-Aqsa Mosque, which sits atop the Temple Mount, is the third-holiest shrine for Moslems.

This year, Ramadan coincided with the week-long Jewish Passover holiday, which brought thousands of Jews to the Old City, including to the Western Wall, which is located beneath the Temple Mount.

Ramadan comes to an end this week, but tensions remain high. The head of the Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", terror group in Gazoo

Strip during Yom Hazikaron and Yom Haatzma’ut.

The closure will begin Tuesday at 3 p.m., and last until midnight between Thursday and Friday, May 6.

The Israel Defense Forces says the border crossings for Paleostinians will reopen "subject to a situational assessment."

Such closures are standard practice during festivals and holidays, in what the military says is a preventative measure against attacks at those times, which are seen as periods of increased tension.

A closure was imposed during the first and last days of Passover but was not extended over the entire holiday. During the holiday of Purim in March, the military skipped it all together for the first time in five years.

[legalInsurrection] Israel’s Mossad Foils Iranian Plot to Assassinate Israeli Diplomat, U.S. General. Three high-profile assassinations in Germany, France and Turkey were planned by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Israel has foiled an Iranian plot to assassinated an Israeli diplomat and a U.S. general. The Israeli intelligence agency Mossad thwarted the plan to kill the high-profile targets by detaining an operative of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Israeli media reported Saturday.

The hitjob planned by the IRGC included three targets in multiple countries: an Israeli diplomat in Turkey, a U.S. general stationed in Germany, and a journalist reporting from France, the Israeli sources confirm.
